Wasnt too impressed. Had a flickering battery icon on the dash after an alternator was repaired and battery replaced from another shop and it was faulty work.Made 3 separate attempts to bring it in, as they were too busy. After bringing it in finally as they opened at 8:30 AM (I work nights so that was rough) they said I would need to leave the car for an undisclosed amount of time. Could be a day, could be 3 days. They seemed nice enough but that type of run around about everything involved with car repair is never worth it to me. If they didnt want to/couldnt work on it they could say so. Plenty of other auto shops in the city.

I had the wiring break apart behind the main crank pulley. These wires through a check engine code for the crankshaft positioner. I tried many different ways of repairing this myself but would end up unsuccessful and cussing a lot. Finally broke down and took it the Sergios. They ended up having to remove the drive pulley and AC belt to get to the wiring harness. They purchased a new wire harness and AC belt and fixed it right. These guys did a honest job and great job. I highly recommend them as they saved me a lot of grief. Thank you Sergios!!!
Very Very bad customer service, unprofessional and not following the rules and the guidelines of the California Bureau of Automotive Repairs. My car had two horns one low pitch and another is high pitch. The high pitch was not working and sometimes the low pitch didn’t work. It could be the wiring or the horns. I took my car last Thursday to Sergio’s Electric repair shop. I dealt with the manager ( I believed he was the owner named Sergio ). I waited until he finished couple of phone calls. Then when I was talking to him about my car malfunction he would stop listening to me and answering phone calls. Very disrespectful person. He couldn’t work on the car because he was busy. He didn’t do appointment just drop your car and would call you when it was ready. We agreed I would drop the car on Tuesday morning today. I was at the shop at 10am. The same manager ( Sergio) asked me to fill out the four lines on the form. I started filling out the form ( name, phone number, address, License number and the mileage). The fifth line was the customer report ( what’s wrong with my car). Remember he asked me to fill out the four lines not including the fifth line. By the California Bureau of Automotive Repairs rules the customer right to report the problem of his car. As I was filing out I went to get my car mileage readings. The manager ( Sergio, no name tag) brought the form in front of my car. He wrote on form where titled description the following( low pitch, high pitch horns..) and wanted me to sign the form. I told him I didn’t finish filling the form I was getting the car mileage. He said, ” it’s okay just sign the form”. I told him I needed to finish filling out the form and included my report as a customer. Then he said again, “ just sign “. Then I responded I didn’t finish filling the form and you didn’t include that sometimes the horns didn’t function. I’m not signing until things done correctly. He didn’t accept that and took the form and left. On the form the diagnostic test is $80 but he wanted $120. Plus he wasn’t wearing mask and most of the workers didn’t wear one too. VERY IMPORTANT ADVICE for everyone read my review and share it with others.When you take your car to a repair shop you’re entitle to write down exactly what’s wrong with your car and get a copy before the shop started a diagnostic test on your car . When the shop finished the diagnostic test you are entitle a report about the shop findings and the cost to fix it. I will take this matter to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs.Thank You for reading.

I have been to Sergios many times over the past 10 years, mostly for help with my fleet of limousines. He and his are very good at finding and fixing the problem without breaking the bank. There are not too many place out there that provide these types of services any more. Most of them do not have the skills required to properly diagnose, so you end up paying to fix or replace a lot of things that are not broken. His prices are always very fair and reasonable.

I stopped here today because my car needed a new battery. The manager or owner take a look at my car and told me that they didn’t have the battery for my car. So he offered me to check with the local auto parts store to se if they had one in stock. So he called the store and find the battery for my car and he also asked them to give me the discount. This kind of business go above and beyond to help the customer even know I didn’t buy anything but if I ever need an auto electrician I know where to go. Thank you Sergios Auto. 👍
Dont even try to deal with this guy he tried to scam my dad. Charged 200 to swap a HID when he was told to just diagnose a problem. Also forgot to put some parts back on the car and just stuffed them in the trunk. Not worth your time. All the other reviews are fakes probably made by his own employees.
