Brian and his team are phenomenal. I called on a holiday to see if I could get a spot to have a module replaced on my 2015 BMW and he managed to fit me in the schedule. The place was very clean, professional and attentive. For weeks I was having issues trying to get my front electronic module replaced and programmed properly. Bad news after bad news from a previous shop, messing up the coding in my vehicle but Brians team managed to get it done in one hour on the same day. I cant thank him and his team enough and to anyone needing a module replaced/programmed, I HIGHLY recommend this shop.

Ive worked on cars as a hobby my whole life. I own the tools to get most jobs done. The difference with these guys, is they do it all day every day and practice makes perfect. I am impressed by their vast knowledge accumulated from decades of experience. The shop is clean, their work is clean, the staff is professional and they tell you what you need and why you need it. They are patient, honest and punctual. Dont hesitate to take your expensive nice car here. You will get the royal treatment and wont waste money at the dealer.

Highly recommended - Ive been bringing my Mercedes and BMW vehicles to August European for a little over 10 years. My vehicles have always been fixed properly and they go above and beyond to exceed your expectations. They are a busy shop, but Brian and his team of mechanics are honest and fair.Another nice thing is that they do not overcharge or recommend unnecessary repairs...an especially important fact in my opinion. If youre tired of being overcharged by the dealerships and big name mechanics, give these guys a shot.

I have trusted my last three vehicles exclusively to August European. I own a different local business, and when I moved in the area, all my clients kept recommending August. The honesty, knowledge, customer service, fair pricing, efficient scheduling and accurate finish times, and kindness of the owner, who you actually interface with (also a plus), are the main reasons I continue to go to this shop without question. If I own non-european cars moving forward, I will still beg the team August European to keep working on them. The best!

I have a 2000 Audi A6 4.2. Thanks to Brian and his talented mechanics my car runs amazingly great. Brian has been in charge of my cars maintenance for the last 7 years. My experience with August European has been so outstanding, I feel grateful that I was able to find reliable and honest service. Brian has always taken the time time to tell me exactly what needs to be done, no surprises, and I trust his advice... He is definitely a straight shooter. And no matter what the problem might be at the time with my car, I have peace of mind that it will get fixed properly ..... I Highly Recommend them!!!

I have been taking my 2002 BMW 330i to August European for the past 7 years. My car has approx. 140K miles on it today, and I would not have held on to the car this long if it weren’t for the confidence I have in Brian and his team. Honesty and quality of workmanship are the two most important things to me in a mechanic, and that is why I continue to have my car serviced here. Additionally, I think the big advantages of taking your car to August European vs the dealership is that you will not pay for services you don’t need, and there’s much more of a personal relationship. Thanks for the outstanding customer service Brian!

Brian at August European has serviced my cars since the late 80s, so I have extensive exposure to the superior level of professionalism and service he as well his technicians provide. The experience is consistently superb. Repairs and services are more reasonably priced than the dealership, yet accomplished at the highest of professional standards. You receive personal, sincere, precise and un-rushed attention and I have always been completely satisfied when I pick up my vehicle. They simply don’t come any better; I trust Brian implicitly and feel fortunate he is always there when I need him…

I have taken my car to Brian twice now for relatively major repairs, and both experiences have been amazing. For the first, I had to replace my AC compressor. His prices were reasonable and the job was done quickly. About a year later (which I believe to be well after any warranty period), coolant started leaking out. I took it back to Brian to diagnose. He found a defect in one of the parts and took care of the repairs for free. Excellent service. My latest experience was much more challenging on both ends. I took the car to have the clutch replaced. I had some aftermarket software on it, so I wanted something slightly different than stock. Brian worked with me to identify the correct parts, including doing research on his own and calling the manufacturer. After the parts were installed, there was an issue with some noise, which turned out to be a defective part. Again, Brian went out of his way to call the parts vendor for advise and try and diagnose the problem. After much deliberation, we decided to revert back to stock parts, which were installed without issue. Throughout the whole process, Brian kept me in the loop with what was wrong and his recommendations to fix it. After the job was essentially done twice, the price that he charged was extremely fair (I even offered him more money which he declined). Kudos to you Brian for running an amazing shop. You have definitely earned my business for life.

I have been taking my 1999 Volvo C70 to August European for 5 years now. And let me tell you why.Brian, the owner, and his staff are very knowledgeable. They explain what and why things need to be done. They also tell you what can wait. Brian uses EOM parts and lets you know if its not needed. Not to mention his shop is well kept! When I first started taking my car in, it was because the Volvo dealer said I needed the spring seats replaced. Brian showed me how he tests to determine if they need to be replaced and said they didnt. And now 5 years later I still havent replaced the spring seats!I also had an issue last year with the ABS Controller. Brian diagnosed the problem. The part was expensive, even for an off brand part and Brian worked with me to provide a reasonable solution.I wouldnt take my Volvo any place else. I only wish my other vehicle was European so I could bring it here too!Update: 2018 - I still haven’t replaced the spring seats on my Volvo after all these years ago when the dealer had said they needed replacing! I finally gave away my Volvo, not because there was anything wrong with as it was in great shape for being over 18 years old. It was just time for a newer used car. I gave it to a friend who has teens that would use it. Although I no longer have a European car, I would still be going to to Brian for my service needs if I did.

The new go to. Brought in my 08 gti for dsg service. Not only did they give me the best price in town, but because it was my first service they took $25 off and even threw in the clutch adaption. Oh did I mention my car was super dirty when I arrived? It came back to me beautifully detailed and washed. The facility and staff is top level professional and my car now shifts like a dream. Thank you for restoring my faith in shops.

120 an hour labor rate, the hours charged for the job are questionable and 60 dollars to hook a car up to a computer that autozone does for free...after you’ve spent a couple hundred dollars. Yes the place is clean but the cost is excessive. Would rather go to the dealership.Oh and no phone call with a quote they just started the work.

I have been taking my 2004 VW Jetta 1.8T to Brian and the guys at August European for about 5 years. That was almost 100,000 miles ago and thanks to Brians thoughtful and skillful care, my car is still running well.Im not an expert on cars, but I take car maintenance very seriously and make an effort to understand how mine works, and Brian has been a fantastic partner in this area. He seems to have a feel for my interest and knowledge, and keeps me appropriately informed on what needs to be done, what has been done, and what may or may not need to be done to keep my VW in good shape. On the few occasions there were significant problems with my car, he was diligent and thorough in diagnosing correctly, and quickly addressed any issues. His prices are quite fair, and the quality of service cannot be beat. My husbands BMW 135i is just out of warranty, and we will definitely be taking it to August European as well, as we trust these guys completely with our vehicles and appreciate their talent and hard work.I highly recommend August European and look forward to continuing to bring my cars here.

Ive been taking our 2004 BMW X5 and 2003 VW Jetta here for years. Heres some of the many reasons why I love this shop: They know BMWs and VWs better than any other German repair shop Ive been to. They know how to run their schedule. Your car will not be trapped here for days on end. Communication is clear and consistent. There are no surprises. You WILL be called if something will exceed the estimate you were given when you dropped the car off, and you will get that call prior to the work being done. They keep their knowledge current. See all those certificates on the lobby wall? They mean something! This shop invests in its technicians by sending them to trainings. Theyre straightforward. They tell you what needs to be done now, what needs to be done in the future, and what doesnt need to be done at all. Brian, Dave and Matthew will talk to you about your car in a clear, straightforward, professional manner. Im not mechanically inclined, and these guys can patiently explain my car to me in a way that I can understand and answer all my questions. The shop is always clean, well organized, and well supplied- the visual signs of a well run business.

With Brian at the helm, August Euro has consistently provided top-notch service for my German vehicles over the past 25-plus years. I implicitly trust his careful diagnoses and always thoughtfully-considered plan for repairs. In his casual, yet straight-forward style, Brian provides answers (and usually alternate solutions or suggestions) with a sense of calm logic and knowledgeable trustworthiness seldom experienced in the auto maintenance business. The majority of the mechanics on his staff have been at August FOR YEARs, are equally meticulous, careful and thorough in how they service vehicles. I first went to August because I’d just moved from LA, and I could drop off my Porsche and walk home. Now, I live 30 miles away in north county, and although August no longer services Porsches, I still bring in my wife’s Mercedes-Benz for top-notch care, just as I have with several BMWs weve also owned over the years. I can also take advantage of their shuttle service to provide a lift, if needed. Bottom line – before there was internet, I was already unhesitatingly recommending Brian and his staff at August to anyone Iocal I knew who needed service for their BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW or Volvo. (And continue to do so whenever the opportunity arises!).
