This place is one of the best in San Diego. Service is great and the people are friendly. Good mechanics are hard to come by these days. If you need some work done on your car I would recommend these guys.

Mr. Lee and his staff could not have been nicer or more professional. I am so happy with the work done to my Honda CRV. Not only were the major dents seamlessly fixed but other imperfections as well. So reasonable (much less than two other places I checked) and my car was ready one day early!

We take our vehicles to Pacific Automotive for oil changes and major or minor mechanical work. They are priced fairly, honest and do excellent work! It is nice to have a repair shop you can trust.

These guys rock. Open early and they will give you a courtesy ride to work or home in most cases. Sometimes they get slammed so check before you come in to see if they can provide a ride. Ive been taking my car there for the last 6 years and their prices are fair and theyre quick. Had my alternator replaced same-day which helped me out.

It’s one of those places you wish you had never went to...costs an arm and leg...and the job they do isn’t satisfactory at all. There are many places with great quality service and way cheaper than these guys. I only went there because I was referred thru some friends but maaaan if you are reading this and still go there, then you are in for a full regret

We have had the most respectful and trustworthy service and care from this shop. I have had so many bad experiences with mechanics that I was desperate to find someone who wouldnt simply see Stupid Female with No Car Sense and rip me off. I must say, not only have I found fair prices and competent work, I have discovered an empathetic service manager and wonderful shop owner. I would HIGHLY recommend this shop to anyone, and have done so. Several of my friends have now started going there.

You dont HAVE to like the people who fix your car, but it helps.The men behind Pacific Automotive take taking care of your car seriously, and, happily, try just as hard to take care of you by never over-selling or over-charging. Its a comfortable place to get your auto repaired, as strange as that may sound. See for yourself.

Awful. Car towed there and charged $108.50 to be told engine sieved. Im not a mechanic but knew that. Repair cost quoted more than twice the value of the car. To make matters worse, charged $140.00 in storage fees. Total bill $248.50 to be told car dead. I had it towed to a reliable repair shop. Shame on you Pacific Automotive. Find another repair shop. Dont use them!

On Tuesday, 2/2, I called and spoke with Ron. I inquired about their Check Engine Light Service special advertised as $49.95. In the special area, it says cannot be combined with any other offer and call for additional details.So when I called, I very clearly explained what my situation was, and asked if this was the appropriate service to narrow down the issue with my car, and what were the additional details. Ron told me this would be the test we were looking for as their equipment would be more detailed than the scanner we used to pull codes. I asked if the test could pinpoint whether the problem was with the catalytic converter, which is what we were thinking it was based on previously being scanned for codes. He said that it would, and it would take about 40 minutes.I made an appointment for my husband to bring the car in the next day and when he arrived he was told that Ron was off today and that it would take more than this to detect if this was the issue, and at more of a cost.We were very disappointed with what seems to just be another scam to get people into the shop and then change the pricing.This place will never have our business or anyone elses that we know.

I am so happy to have found an honest shop near my house. I live in P.B and my Chrysler Sebring started to leak coolant bad. If that is not bad enough the exhaust pipe came loose when I drove over a pot hole. I was so worried that the repairs were going to cost more than what my 2005 car with 200 thousand miles on it. I found them trough my friend went there Jim was so helpful he looked for the parts and located them the whole thing cost me 375.00 which is great. They have customer for life now. I will highly recommend them to everyone
