Ruben was very knowledgeable and kind about explaining what was going on along the way. He worked hard and was determined to figure out exactly where my leak was within the walls, which turned out to be quite a challenge. But he succeeded in finally locating it and then, on top of that, found that it was very difficult to get to it for the repair. He went off to have lunch and ‘to think hard about it”. He returned a bit later and confidently walked in with the tools he knew he needed and fixed it right up. He took pride in his work and had a moral work ethic that made me feel that he could be trusted. He’s a real decent guy and I felt well taken care of.

3 weeks ago I woke up to a leak in my ceiling dripping into my 1st flr vanity. I did what most people do I looked for a plumber online taking reviews into consideration. I contacted ARS Rescue Rooter and they dispatched Dante Morales. From the start Dante was very professional and courteous. He explained in detail what appeared to be the issue and described the next steps to take. Long story short it involved tests for asbestos and lead and the removal of my upstairs shower and toilet by another company. Throughout the process Dante checked in to see how the process was going and as soon as he was cleared to start the repair he came and did a fantastic job. Throughout the repair he showed me the before and after and explained in detail what he was repairing. I couldn’t have asked for a better plumber he was amazing. I would recommend calling ARS Rescue Rooter for your plumbing needs and definitely asking for Dante Morales.

I can not begin to say enough good things about this company!! The 100 year old house that we bought a year and a half ago, had the pipes underground start crumbling. Esteban came out and immediately got to work assessing the situation. He was very helpful, informative, and worked hard everyday until the job was done. He called and came over to check in multiple times a day which I really appreciated. When the job proved to be much worse than we initially thought, he called in his supervisor Josh. He was phenomenal in coming up with a plan of action, price point, and payment options. He was very understanding and patient as we tried to figure out what we were going to do and how we would pay for it.. he probably acquired his patience from being a girl dad. Lol. It took a little over a week to diagnose, repair, and complete all of the work which was crucial since we have a tenant on the premises. I am very appreciative of all of the time and effort that they put in to this job. They felt more like friends than workers by the time we came to the end of the job, which is important when your house is literally crumbling beneath you. I also got treated to a delicious brownie and orange soda when I dropped off my final payment (thanks David). In conclusion, I definitely recommend these guys and they will be the first ones I call if I have problems in the future, but I hope I never see them again.. in a work capacity :)

There was a leak at the water meter and ARS came out right away - there was no Main Water Valve (Jones valve) on my side - so they discussed benefits of installing one - which i agreed to - they called the City which came out the next day and they found the leak which was on the City side (thankfully!) and then Victor from ARS installed the Jones Valve and the City took care of replacing their valve so now i will have no issues. Everything was done in one day and Victor was very good at explaining and answering any questions.

We have worked with ARS in the past, some good and some less than good experiences. This experience in particular was memorable for two reasons. One, it was absolutely disgusting and not a text I looked forward coming home to. Two, Ruben M. came by late at night with a great attitude, friendly demeanor, and in a professional manner. He was knowledgeable and handled the situation very well. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and you can tell he loves his job and helping people. More plumbers need to be like Ruben!

Service was great. The technician Jordan was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and fixed our problem on the visit. Our AC broke and was able to get an appt the next day. Unfortunately they called to reschedule due to someone calling out, however customer service called, was apologetic, and rescheduled the following day. Great service.

Contacted Rescue Rooter about toilet plugged unable to use plunger to fix it. Anyway, texted Rescue Rooter, stated problem, and said Miguel would be here in 60-90 minutes. He arrived on time, wearing mask etc. Was able to unplug toilet with auger. Never had a toilet that difficult to unplug!!!. It even sat over night hoping for the best. Well, back in business. Our situation was a night time emergency. Technician was Francisco. Arrived early and quickly took care of the issue we were having. Very courteous and professional. Returned the following day to further investigate root cause. Wrote a very detailed explanation of the situation for us to use with the HOA.

I am only responding to todays service because I was disappointed in the previous service appointment a few days ago with the problem not being fixed by another tech. I want to thank Miguel Garibay for his professionalism, quick work to properly correct the AC problem and for understanding the problem. He was friendly and considerate of what we dealt with I would highly recommend Miguel and also wish to thank the dispatcher staff as they were understanding and left messages for me. We have been with ARS for over 25 years starting with them when they were a private company. We have our favorites and now Miguel is one of them!

After I found an issue with toilet and couldn’t fix it I called ARS and they send technician few hours later. Bill came to expect our bathroom toilet and found the issue that cause slow running water and not flashing all the way. Due the cleaning tablets that I was using for the last few month: they kinda ruined toilet. So we will try his recommendations first on how to clean the damage that been done from tables or replace with better one .Thank you so much for your professionalism and recommendations

They said they would stop by annually to ensure all was well. BUT its 5 months late now. The original hot water boiler they installed failed in less than 3 weeks. The replacement boiler will fail unless I continously clean the dryer dustcatcher. Poor (read cheap in my opinion) design parts installed in the factory.

Incredibly thorough. We worked with Joshua. We’d gotten quotes from disreputable plumbers prior to meeting Josh. He spent nearly 4 hours with us going through every aspect of the work that needed to be done, the work that could wait, the work that was critical. He was kind, courteous, always respectful. He never pushed or tried to sell us on a service or product. A close analogy would be getting your news from a truly unbiased news source :). He gave us the facts, helped us stay within a budget, and even worked with his manager to see what discounts were available to us. I had a main line clogged in my properly, I coulnt believed when the technician told me that he was going to charge me after tje work was done, never heard of that before, that was like music to my ears, not only unclog the main but they runned the camera without paying any extra....honestly they were like angels.Thank you very much, your service was highly appreciated.

Had intermittent clogging. They were able to get me an appointment the next day. Got the bad news of needing an original cast iron pipe replaced. They were fast with starting the next day and finished everything up quickly with barely any water interruption. Also helped us with a couple other things. Nice people. Will use them again

Total scam. DO NOT USE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, do not spend a dime.Absolutely awful company. I needed an emergency repair and they told me they could be there within three hours and there was no fee for them to come out and look. I was sold - and scammed. Creeping up on the latest time they told me theyd be there (no call received yet) I gave them a call. They were running behind and would be there in an hour and a half. Understandable, I thought. I arrange for someone to be there because I had to be at work. Hours later, no call, no repairman. I call. My boyfriend who is in an important meeting calls. The person Id arranged to meet them is looking around - sees the van but no repairman. They didnt even call ahead like they said they would, let alone call us to say theyd arrived. They take one look and say its going to be a $6000 fix - and theyd need to dig up the whole line. Screw that, we got another opinion.I never write bad reviews. Usually I can sympathize with the company - not this time. I did more research online and it looks like theyre doing this with other people as well. Totally unprofessional, a total scam, and absolutely impolite. I felt like I was an inconvenience every time I tried to get an answer from them. DO NOT USE. Get a different opinion.

Save yourself the stress and use another plumber. They are dealing with severe staffing issues. It took four appointments to have somebody actually show up, and a fifth for them to be ready to do my services. I am not sure why they make appointments if they do not have plumbers to send out, but it is what it is.The plumber, Miguel, did a great job on the plumbing itself, but I was not granted all of the services originally promised. The person who did my quote (John, who also was a professional) apparently did not write down everything down that we talked about, which left me needing to still have work done after this whole ordeal. I had the quality assurance person that I talked to after Miguel finished the work promise that someone would contact me to get me a discount, but the office did not have any record of this, nor seem to be interested in helping me figure out who told me this, and the only thing that I was provided with after multiple phone calls with their management was a pair of $100 off coupons for a plumbing company that I dont have any intention of using again. The whole situation was very frustrating, tested my patience heavily, and made me feel like the stereotypical angry customer.

He did the work quickly and efficiently, and advised us against snaking the entire drain to the street right now, to protect our old cast iron pipe and because todays clog turned out to be localized to our hall bathroom toilet flange. I was referred to them through Home Depot for new AC units. I had 2 scheduled appointments and both days they didnt show up. Big waste of my time. Now they are trying to schedule a 3rd time. Dont waste your time.

ARS installed new heat pump and air handler. The air handler was changed from a gas furnace to an electric air handler. The installation went very well and was done in one day. Later found out that the air handler was installed with 60 amp fuses and the maximum was rated at 35 amps. The wiring was #8 copper wire and it should have been #6 for a 50 amp fuse. The heat pump was installed with 50 amp fuses and they used the original #8 aluminum wiring which should have been #6 copper wiring. This was installed in February and i waited until May and they still hadnt contacted a HERS inspection to inspect this job so that I could have the final inspection by the city. I called ARS and they finally sent a HERS inspector out on May 27, 2021, now it is June and I still dont have the HERS report back and cannot get the final inspection by the city. So it has been four months and still dont have the final inspection. The job is not done until the final inspection is done.

I experienced a pretty devastating plumbing break that put my house down hard. ARS responded quickly and thoroughly investigated options and how they could help. Ruben from ARS / Rescue Rooter helped unclog our kitchen sink on Easter Sunday. Our appointment was delayed because Ruben’s previous appointment took longer than expected, and so he arrived in the early evening. He was polite, extremely pleasant, and it turns out that his family was patiently waiting for him at a local park until he finished with our service.He made the necessary repairs, cleaned up so the kitchen floor looked as good as new, and happily notified us that our service was covered under warranty since ARS had done some work previously on our kitchen drains.Ruben proves that it’s not only possible to work hard and be efficient, but to do so with a smile and genuine friendliness that’s harder and harder to find in customer service roles these days.

ARS installed a heating and air conditioning system at my house. They were subcontracted thru Home Depot and this is the first time Ive ever used ARS. The service was exceptional. My system was old and failing and I needed something quick and within reason. I found a few estimates, but most were beyond my budget and/or weeks to months away from being installed. ARS sent out an estimator, Brian, who is very experienced and quickly summed up the situation. He told me that ARS is a rather large company and that they would be able to install my system the next day! They showed up the next day with a team of 5 guys and had everything installed and running within 1/2 day. I have only great things to say about ARS and the level of professionalism they exhibit. On top of all this, I was given a guarantee that should any issues arise, they would be quickly resolved. I feel like this will become important if in the future if I ever have system problems. One of my biggest complaints about the system they replaced was that is old, and I couldnt find anyone to repair it properly (I had 5 different companies, and none were able to fix it). Brian spoke to all my concerns and I couldnt be happier. Thank you, ARS!

I have used their service for AC tune up as well routine check by plumber to check all drain’s for possible clogging. Plumber checked all the outlets and didn’t see any issue. So, he didn’t even charge me for the service provided.After few months of tune up my ac started behaving not as expected, they immediately sent the technician to fix the issue. Technician was able to identify the issue and fix it without any extra charge.

I called this company because I had a small leak and the customer service person was very nice and gave discounts to veterans which my husband is. They gave me a time frame of 8-10 am and never showed up and when I called several times I finally talked to the service person who was very rude and they said they didn’t know when they could get someone out and couldn’t even give me a time frame so I had to cancel

We had a major waste water sewer line failure (Needed to jack hammer our concrete floor to fix/replace and repair the sewer line. Scott, Bill and the entire ARS Team did a great job!! We scheduled an AC tuneup, the broke our AC, and then charged us a diagnostic fee. When we contacted them to complete the repair they wanted to charge us another diagnostic fee. We thought $45 was a great price for a tune up. Looks like it will be the most expensive time up ever.

Replaced Pressure regulator which had failed and was over 100 psi which can cause failures. Now pressure is in the normal range. This was discovered when checking pressure while replacing and toilet fill valve that had failed. Liked the thorough service, which saved us a second service call fee.

Hired them to update our heater and air duct system and also decided to add on the installation of AC. The price seemed good from what I got from other businesses and they had the home depot warranty and backup which is reassuring. They were done in one day which was nice.There were some misscommunications between what the sales person told me and the team that showed up (like they showed up a day earlier then what the sales person and I agreed on) but the team lead was great and gave me all the correct info I needed when he was installing. He tested the heater and the AC and made sure the vents further away were pushing out more. Walked me through how to use Google nest, as well. Some debris left over from the installation but so far its working well. Its only been a few weeks since weve had it. Would definitely recommend trying them out.

Bait and Switch.I had a clogged drain and ARS had an add for Single Drain $69 so I called for service. They stated they would arrive between 10 am and noon, they showed after 1 pm.They did not even attempt to unclog the drain at all. They called and stated that all the pipes were bad and they will have to replace the old cast iron pipes. They gave me a quote for $7,000.00 to do so.I had a reputable plumber come out today and was able to unclog the drain in less than 20 minutes.Reading other reviews this seems to be quite a common occurrenceBEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a clogged shower drain and called around 7 PM to schedule a service for the next morning between 8 AM and 10 AM. When the technician did not show up, I called to ask what the estimated arrival time was. The local office said that the main dispatcher made a mistake and the window should between 8 AM - 12 PM. No big deal, stuff happens. The local contact said they would call me when a technician was on their way, and that call never came. I called the number again to confirm when a technician might show up, and the local contact said they can not gaurentee the time a technician can show up. My issue here is the complete lack of communication from ARS. I understand that some things may be out of control, but I was totally unprepared to be dealing with the lack of communication. ARS, you should at least call to say that a technician is going to be late even if you dont have an estimate window. Quite frankly, its the least you can do for your customers.

Bill Byers is a life savior. The Apartment ComplexI manage was vandalized and the main Water valve has turnedoff, depriving all my tenants of water during COVID. Called to ask for an estimate to recharge an HVAC system. It was temporarily removed to repave the area. The company wanted to charge me $99 for a technician to diagnose the “problem.” There is no problem. I know what needs to be done. I just wanted an estimate to recharge the AC. Don’t waste your time with this company. Plenty out there to go to.

I had two prior service appointments that did not occur due to scheduler issues. Justin was my third attempt to have this service check completed. He called with an estimated arrival time and was here when he projected. He was fast, thorough and clearly explained each step and what I could do to keep my heating working at top efficiency. Eric the lead technician came to my home and was very helpful and honest. He give a new a quote for a new AC and Heating system I couldn’t let expire. The installation crew which consists of Miguel, Victor and Andres were very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend ARS to all! They were professional from the time we called untill the time Bill left our house. Knowledgable and very easy to communicate with. Bill fixed our problem that I had spent hours trying to do. He also gave us tips on how to keep our drains running smoothly, along with a guarantee. The price was more than fair. Cole Williams was very professional. He came in and did a thorough inspection of the problems we were having. He spent his time getting right to work and then took the time to explain everything to my husband and I. He went through directions on how the thermostat turned off and on. He worked hard on our repairs, etc. Then asked if he could return the next day to finish the other issues we were having. He was very prompt and again thorough. Got everything finished up and again explained everything to me, asking me if I had any questions. This experience, although no one likes home repairs, was very friendly and professional. We have loved ARS and willcontinue to use them for our needs. This was Colesfirst visit to our home. He is a really good addition toto the ARS team. Very please with his work.

My Dad is being released from the hospital on Wednesday. Weve been working hard to fix up his home to accommodate him after having a leg amputated. We had an emergency need for a plumber and I called a well known competitor who couldnt bother to answer their phone so I called ARS Rescue Rooter.They answered my call immediately. A plumber was scheduled for me within 24 hours. Ed came out and assessed the problems. Ed was a freaking rock star! He gave us different estimates to help us decide what we wanted to tackle. I loved his honesty and his work ethic. He went straight to work and did a stellar job!!! We were incredibly impressed. I would use ARS before anyone now, and if Ed comes out again, a bonus!
