I am so grateful I found this place! It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I moved here from the east coast not knowing anyone and took a chance on this spot. Right from the start I could tell they are more about helping people and less about making a buck. Now I have been a customer here for about 7 months and have come back for various services including overall check up on multiple vehicles, oil changes, electronic issues, and dent repair/bodywork. Their prices are very fair and every time I have been taken care of with exceptional service. They are extremely knowledgable, so if you have questions they can educate you, which I love. And if they don’t provide the service themselves, they will refer you to a reputable resource. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, this is your spot!

I can say without a doubt, Haik is an Honest, fair, and knowledgable operator. He IS the only Mechanic Shop to go to. Period.A little background: I was referred to him by a competing shop who said they call Haik when they cant resolve complicated electrical or mechanical issues. Since then Ive brough all my cars there. Most recently I thought I was going to have to replace the air suspension in my Lexus. HAIK, like a surgeon corectly diagnosed the cause and fixed it. Problem: a bent tie rod causing the computer to malfunction. Its rare, correction, a miracle one finds a briliant mechanic with a kind and generous heart.Did I mention Haik graduated with a degree in engineering! Yeah hes most too. Haik hats off to you. Hike and his team are all about honesty, integrity, competence, and great service! They are detail oriented and get the job done right. Some years ago, the first time I went there, I knew this was a special place. I went for just a smog check but they also found a nail in one of my tires and repaired it for free! They also have great prices. Ive saved much by getting my routine maintenance done here instead of the dealer. Everyone there is very friendly and they even have complimentary pick-up service.

Great service! Very knowledgeable! Well priced. My starter went out Thursday night and they had it fixed for me Friday afternoon.

Shop was highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. I have a 84 Jeep Wagoneer, which is a tough car to smog. I took it to three different shops, no one could find the issue. However these guys fixed the problem, and car is legally smog certified. Then when my wife dropped me off to get the car, I asked if they would check the air pressure in the rear tire of her car. They not only checked, but put her car in the air to see if there was a nail and sure enough there was one. They repaired it in 10 minutes, I am glad they checked. I asked what I owed and they said do not worry about it it was free. On top of this it was after 15 minutes after they closed, and they still went the extra mile. This was the icing on the cake, their follow up and follow through while ordering parts for my other car was on point. They updated me on the progress,, showed me the old parts, and the whole crew has an amazing attitude. Wish I found these guys years ago.

I dont feel taken advantage of. He takes the time to explain everything to me, as well as what to expect down the line. Hes very courteous, and always professional. This was our first time there. We had three issues with our minivan. They found one to be a quick easy fix charging us hardly anything, the second was a little more involved but again an easy fix and the third being what we expected. My experience at Auto Repair of San Clemente was 10 stars! I will NEVER return to the dealership I bought my car from EVER again- I will only come here now! The owner of this shop, Haik, goes above and beyond not to just do a top-notch job servicing/fixing your car but also to provide superior customer service. I am not too knowledgeable on cars Haik can explain what needs to be done to your car in a simple way, and does not overcharge at all. Best service for the most reasonable rate in Orange County! Great job by the team at Auto Repair of San Clemente. I bought a lemon and they were able to diagnose and repair the problems, document the troubles and walked me through everything step by step. Their customer service and overall work were about 150% better than Toyota of San Juan.

If I could leave no stars, I would. Been coming here (Shorecliffs Auto Repair), dealing with Bill forever...Bill was GREAT!! This new owner (Fahi) is a NIGHTMARE!!Car was running rough, took it to this new owner, HOPING (wrong!) that it would be the same great place with great (honest!) customer service... NOPE!!New owner diagnosed my car.. told me that it needed new sparkplugs and wires... $800!! He said there were no engine code errors, and the wires are sparking all over the place. Told me that down the road we may need to look at the Mass Airflow sensor (under $300!)...but for now.. I MUST do the wires! I agreed.I called today (he never called me over the last 2 days for updates, nothing!). He said Bro...weve GOTTA do the Airflow sensor... we cant wait! What? Why such certainty now (after I spent $800)?? I told him to stop, I would pay for what hes completed, but no more.When I went to the shop to pay he starting screaming at me... THEN... (get this).. he comes around the counter, hands on his hips, in my face screaming Youre messing with the wrong guy!. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??I told him to put my original parts in a bag, and I would pay for the car and be on my way. He started yelling again about my piece of junk car, etc, etc.. In a truly crazy twist of fate... he picks up the phone (probably as a defense for being aggressive), calls the police and says that I wont pay for the car!! I was there to pay, but wanted the old parts!!Needless to say, I will not be back! Ive lived in SC for 40 years.. .and Bill was a local jewel.. not this guy... youve been warned!!
