Excellent service from the moment I set up the appointment, upon my arrival the team immediately greeted and started to provide my services. The location is great and the space is large and clean. The staff was fast but accurate awesome job front desk, to having my teeth cleaned and seeing the dentist-everyone was pleasant and professional.

Took my son (8 y.o.) in for a cleaning, he had his x-rays taken promptly, and the hygenist was very nice and kept him smiling the whole time. Great patience for patients here, and kid friendly for sure! Both of my kids look forward to going to the dentist and that is a major blessing.

This visit was the third time I went to My Hometown dentist. I love the office manager Penny. The office is clean and feels updated. They recently had a new dentist join their team. He seems great, just wish they would have informed me that I would be seeing someone else. When my appt was finished I stopped at the front desk. They billing person said I owed a balance on my account. In fact my account was paid and they applied my payment wrong. She said I needed to provide them with a bank statement. Her entire attitude was the problem. There is a better way to speak to your customers. I barley left the office and they called me explaining their error. Still no apology. The dentist office is great. Their billing person needs an attitude adjustment.

Was there was a cleaning and lost crown replacement. The Hygienist (Yaya? I dont fully recall the name) was among the best thats ever worked on my teeth).The Dentist was also awesome in fitting me in at the last moment to redo my core and prep for a new crown at the last minute. And he did a great job - great bedside manners, great work checking in on my comfort level frequently during the procedure.Penny from the office is extremely good to work with in terms of working with my schedule as I have things come up on my calendar at the last minute. Wholly recommend this office for all Dental services

I went in for emergency tooth pain and had to get my wisdom teeth out. The entire staff has been amazing and friendly. The doctor who did my extractions had such a gentle hand.. I walked in and out happy with my procedure. I would recommend this place to everyone

They were so kind with my germaphobia and didn’t scowl or scoff or make me feel bad when I asked questions about the tools or asked for something to be wiped down (even though they already wiped it down before I arrived).Bailey and Dr. Bays were very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions and even calmed anxiety I had from a prior dentist that told me my teeth were worse than they actually are! Fast, friendly service. I was a bit late today but they still were able to complete my cleaning and polishing in time for the next person.

Previously the office was staffed by Dr. Sarah Tovar. The office was much better then. She left and they did not even notify my family. Dr. Chris Bays took over and I did not even see him at my last appointment. They cancelled my initial appointment and still could not get it right for the new appointment they made.The cleaning was inadequate and no one even checked my teeth after being at the office at 7 am. I asked for my dental records over 2 weeks ago in person and they were promised to be sent to my email.Today, I call to ask questions as to what is going on . Penny hangs up on me, I call back asking why the disrespect when Im questioning the service received. I still dont have all my records. Penny finally says, we dont need to figure out what happened because you and your family wont ever be here again so dont worry about it. Why was my family being treated so differently and with so much disrespect. I imagine this upscale side of San Antonio is not used to families like mine being out here in Fair Oaks Ranch, Boerne area . The unmitigated privilege is too much! Treat all humans with dignity and respect. Dont treat my family like they are less than and dont get an attitude with me when I point out horrible customer service.

I was a first time patient at My Hometown Dentist. I was greeted by friendly front-office staff who got me situated to complete new patient forms. They also accommodated a short-notice schedule change for another family member. The good experience continued as I was taken back on time to begin my appointment. I interacted with several staff during my x-rays, exam, treatment, and checkout at the front desk. Its not often you find all staff to be consistently friendly and on schedule. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience and look forward to establishing myself as a long-term patient at this practice.

Best dentist Ive been to! For once I felt the dentist listened to MY input about my own teeth and did not push or pressure me into any treatments I did not want or could not afford. They were also able to get me in immediatly...over the holiday break. While performing an extraction he was calm and patient and spoke to me the entire process so I would know what was going on which helped my nerves immensely! I had been seeing another dentist prior and have definitely switched over to My Hometown Dentist for good. Besides the dentist being wonderful the entire staff was just as kind and professional. Truly a life saver!

I saw Bailey for the most part, I cant remember the guys name but he was cool.Bailey though, above and beyond, she gave me a lot of information, some I wouldnt of even thought to ask. She had some friendly banter too so it was just silence while she worked. Would recommend anyone to her, especially if you are feeling self conscious, she didnt have a hint of judgment in her tone.

So far so good! Went in after 6+ years of no dentist visits and much of that time spent not taking care of my teeth. I was met with kindness and care rather than judgement. They clearly communicated what their recommendations were to help keep my smile healthy and were very gentle as they aggressively cleaned every inch of my mouth (well... one side... going back for side two).It was clear that their priority while I was there was me. They took their time to make sure I was comfortable. I was terrified before I arrived and extremely relieved when I left. Great work! 10/10 recommend.

So, I called in as essentially a stranger off the street with a scared kid dealing with a dental issue and everyone I dealt with in getting the issue taken care of (promptly, too!) was kind, helpful, and professional.

Years back I had a wisdom tooth extracted at another dental office. Very painful. Dr Arami at Hometown Dentist told me he would try his best to minimize the pain. He delivered as the process was mostly pain free. Taniesha, the dental assistant was excellent in the skills and support she provided. Very professional, clean and organized dental office.

Due to a job change (and an insurance change), I was no longer able to go to my previous dentist. My hair stylist had recommended My Hometown Dentist so I decided to give them a try (Let’s be honest...hair stylists know the good, the bad, and the ugly!)It was super easy to get an appointment and I was impressed with everyone in the office. My cleaning today was great and the hygienist discovered a cavity that the xrays had missed. My previous dentist told me that I needed three crowns but Dr Bays only recommended one which is scheduled in a couple of weeks.My husband is going to schedule an appointment soon based on my great experience!

My first visit was yesterday, an appointment I got on 24 hours notice. The office is beautifully appointed with state of the art equipment. My hygienist was personable, informative and gentle with my cleaning. When the doctor found a problem with a tooth, she referred me to an endodonist who was able to treat me today. Amazing. Knowing I needed a lot of work done, I was a bit worried about an initial visit and examination. I was right, my mouth was bad! Multiple filling replacements and a cap topped the list. Dr. Tovar did some crafty work and I am very thankful to have been her patient. The facility is very nice, staff is great, Dr. T the best. Everything “perfect.”

I am terrified of dentists, and was completely put at ease.Dr Tovar was great, and not pushy like some dentists saying that x amount of dental work should be done.I was given the laughing gas to have my cleaning, to aid with my anxiety, many dental offices no longer have this service due to the red tape it involves, from my understanding.Penny the front office staff was very friendlyI would highly recommend, and have set up my next appointment!The decor is super cute, with a fall theme too!

From the time I contacted My Hometown Dentist two weeks ago for an appointment, I was treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. Staff: Courtney, Christi (sp.) and finance were all well-informed. Dr. Bruce Kral was courteous, knowledgeable and professional in approaching and explaining his plan of action for my dental issues probably caused by a medication I take. He’s the best in the business as far as I’m concerned.
