I Called them yesterday since I had been having extreme tooth pain and could not take it anymore. I avoid the dentist cause of the cost and in my past experience I went in for pain with one tooth and came out with a list of other things they wanted me to get done I was so sticker shocked at that previous dental place that I never went back. They got me in right away. I Went in to Idea expecting the same experience but instead they made sure to take care of the issue I went in for. They gave me the options and recommendations to fix the issue I was having, and took care of it right there and then. I had to have a root canal and crown but they helped with the pricing and had multiple payment options. I was extremely satisfied with the work they did so will definitely go back and take care of the other issues I had been putting off. Highly recommend them. Their staff is professional, yet friendly and easy going.

Absolutely amazing. We had a dental emergency on a Friday and they got us (new patients) the next day (sat). They were fast, friendly, and had 99% of my insurance ready when I walked in the door. The dentist and staff talked me through what had to be done and then did it within minutes. They have two new patients going forward (already booked our appointments for cleanings).

The staff followed COVID protocol which was a plus for me. My dental plan was explained to me so there were no financial surprises. Dr Walker and Ethan treated me well at my appointment yesterday, and I was able to start my Invisalign process. I came on a busy day, and everyone was very professional and continuously checked on me. This was our first visit because my son was due for a cleaning and he was experiencing some pain around his molars. This dentist office has a really nice, caring atmosphere and I was very comfortable having them work with my son. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a a great dentist!

I took my daughter here for the first time for a checkup. The wait once we got in was a little long because there wasn’t a free room. We waited for around half an hour. Once we finally got into a room, the appointment went by pretty quickly. They took pictures of her teeth, did a cleaning, the doctor did an exam and talked with us briefly, she had some sealants applied, and then we went up to the front to schedule her next appointment. All of the staff from the receptionist to the dentist were friendly which made my daughter feel comfortable. Overall, my daughter & I were both happy with the appointment, I just wish we didn’t have to wait so long at the beginning.

I selected a dentist at this office based on the reviews I read online. But I would not recommend going to this dentist office. I tried seeing a dentist for months and my appointment kept getting rescheduled for weeks later. The first time I called the office I had to give them all my info (name/number/insurance/etc) twice because the receptionist didn’t know how to do her job. It’s funny their website says same day appointments because the earliest appointment I could get was five weeks away; then it got rescheduled for 4 weeks later; then rescheduled for another 3 weeks away; finally the day before my appointment I get a call that it needed to be rescheduled again. I spoke to the same person each time my appointment was rescheduled, and honestly I feel like his reason for rescheduling was bs. The only reason I kept trying with this dentist is because I selected him when I signed up for my insurance benefits and thought I was stuck with him.

Ideal Dental is the greatest place to get your teeth cleaned or any Dentistry. They have the best team who care about your needs and how you feel. They go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. I highly recommend.

My experience today was absolutely exceptional! Best experience I have EVER had at any dental office. Roland at the front was extremely helpful, informative, and friendly, Jose in the back as well as Dr. Oei were both friendly and made me feel comfortable (I have severe anxiety with most dentists) but they treated me like a family member, they were all very warm, welcoming, addressed all of my questions and concerns, they didn’t make me feel rushed at all. All very nice and friendly—felt like I’ve been there before. Not having been to a dentist in a while, at first the service seemed good. Smiles seemed genuine and the plan seemed fair. The plan for my teeth was a very pricey with services they deemed were absolutely necessary. Well weeks later I developed a pain in gum and infection and had to go to different dentist. And what a stark difference! The new dentist office made me feel at ease and the plan was about $4500 less than what they quoted me at Ideal. I retract my good review. Do yourself huge favor and get a second opinion

I was so nervous getting a root canal done they made my process of getting it virtually pain free and made me feel comfortable .I also got five fillings done same day along with the root canal and was very pleased on pricing. I had my first visit there today and I had a great experience! From the front desk staff to the dentist, everyone was very kind, professional and really listened to my concerns. My assistant was very sweet and did great with the x rays and my hygienist was the best I’d had in a long time. Very gentle on my sensitive teeth and super nice. I definitely will be going back!

Unfortunately I found out my insurance didn’t cover this location, but I really wish it did. I knew I had some problem areas and Dr. Oei didn’t make me feel bad about them. He was very informative and non judge mental which is what I was worried about. Mr. Garza also took his time to work prices with me since we realized my insurance was more complicated than I thought. He actually taught me more then my job did. Really wish I was able to have this dental office as my location, so if you’re able to, definitely take it!

I could not have had a better experience with a dentist office! Frances (at the front desk) made me feel welcome from the second I set an appointment through my local Ideal Dental office (in San Marcos) she called me and let me know what to expect and how to prepare for my wisdom teeth removal. I was really nervous and she made me feel better from the start. When I got there they helped me set up a payment plan that worked with me and they were very professional and super helpful. Then I wentin for my removal and Dr. Nagella was funny, encouraging, and very fast... he eased my nerves a lot and the procedure took less that 10 minutes to remove 2 teeth. The Dental Assistant in the room was very nice too and she answered all of my questions. Seriously all such nice, genuine people. If youre searching, GO TO THIS DENTIST. You wont regret it. Thank you for making me smile!

It has been a decade since I went to the dentist. I went to Ideal Dental with some hesitations. Once I arrived there, the hesitations went away. Great staff and doctor, clean work space and very thoughtful towards their patients! I didnt have insurance but Ideal Dental worked with me on affordable plans that didnt hurt me financially amid this covid event! I will definitely be returning to Ideal Dental for all my dental work! Do not put off seeing the dentist.

My son has been seeing them since September of 2019. Everything has been fine until today! I have been asking the same question over and over with no answer being provided, only being provided with what needs to happen next. I understand the circumstances that the world is under but when I don’t get answers and being advised with what the next step is and no explanation is frustrating as a parent. If we don’t get answers soon we may be looking for a new dentist/orthodontist providers. The other things is that when we schedule appointments for something specific it ends up being something else that is done.

Ideal happened to be the first number I called based off my location and reading their reviews, and it has worked out really well.

My son and I have been with this office for 2-3 years with no issues at all. I recently got work done after over 10 years because I hate the dentist, but Dr. Oei is great! Ive had my wisdom teeth pulled, deep cleaning, root canals, crowns, etc with no issue. They constantly check on us throughout the procedure and make us feel comfortable. Every time I have gone, we were greeted, well informed, and the staff knows us on a first name basis. Even when I attend alone, they ask how my son is by name! I will continue going and plan on referring others. I just have to name drop a few people, David, Melissa and Roland are great in the front office and get me all the paperwork I need for insurance. Randy has always been great and gentle with my son and I. Norma was very informative on all of my questions. Lily did my deep cleaning and kept me informed of how deep cleanings work. Not only are these individuals great at what they do, but they make us laugh and take their time with us. I never feel rushed or like a number, rather than a patient. This place needs to revisit their appointment policy. If you do not answer your phone or call back to confirm your appointment, your spot will filled. This is incredibly backwards. I confirmed my appointment when I made it. If I wanted to reschedule I would call or reply to the text that is sent to me. The text does not say that if you fail to confirm, your appointment will be filled. Such a waste of time.

Awesome dental office! I had an appointment at another office at 830am, when I got to that office, their oral surgeon wasn’t even there. I needed a wisdom tooth extraction. I started calling a bunch of other offices but no one could get me in and then I came upon Ideal Dental. The lady in the front desk, I don’t remember her name was so nice and told me to come in and they would help me out, I had so much pain from an impacted wisdom tooth. They did a pano and exam and their oral surgeon was able to do two of my wisdom teeth for a good price! The office was clean, everyone was nice from the front desk to the back office. The RDA was so nice and was helping me calm my nerves. The surgeon, Dr. Nagella was also really good and quick.

I came in fix a filling and the staff did a great job. I told them I needed to be somewhere later that day. They did a great job on my filling while also being quick. The Dental tech I got was the best one Ive been too, he was extremely personable and did a great job! Overall it was a great experience
