The staff there is super sweet! My dentist was AMAZING! They treated me better than 90% of most places I’ve visited. If you’re looking for a dentistry please check them out! You won’t be sorry :)!!!!!! Everyone there is awesome.

I have wanted to take care of my implant from the day I got it but did not know if I was doing what I could to keep it healthy and vital. I am so excited to follow up with an expert Dr. Who deals directly with gum tissue and bone strength and growth. I am blessed to have the dental care through the years and this is the exclamation point of my later years, to be able to KEEP what has been created in my mouth!!!

I went there a couple years ago and will never go back. The ladies at the desk did not know what they were doing and charged me over $200 even though I had dental insurance. I eventually got reimbursed but I was pretty upset about it. Nobody greeted me when I arrived. Pretty much thrust some forms at me to fill out. The dental hygienist was nice, however, the dentist walked in, didn’t even introduce himself and was very abrupt with me. I don’t know if everyone was just having a bad day, but it was not the welcoming environment I was hoping for.

I went here the other day. I originally had a 5:30 for me and my wife but they moved us up to 5:00. The patio before us required extra treatment so we ended up being seen at our regular time. They were so nice and apologetic that we didn’t even pay attention to the clock. I ended up needing extra work and the dentist was so up front, kind and very patient. We were the last patients of the day but they Rush us in and out. They took the time to explain our current future treatments! Love this place. Normally I hate dentists.

Do not go here. Went in to get a broken tooth pulled. They charged me $90 for a visit and all they did was take a single xray, heavily insist that I get a $1k crown to save half a tooth, then had an appointment scheduled for me even after telling them I already had very important plans that day (2nd covid shot). Went to an emergency dental place a couple days later and was told the tooth seemed to be dying, and even though they also said it could be saved they seemed to be leaning more towards having it pulled like I wanted and even did it the same day

The ladies in the office are great! I was a bee patient and they were so helpful, friendly, polite and patient with me. They went above and beyond to get my emergency procedure scheduled ASAP. I don’t think anyone is excited about the dentist, but I have to say the staff made it as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The dental assistant was very good at explain everything that she was going step by step and was very gentle. The dentist was very professional and still friendly. He listened to my concerns and helped me choose the best plan of action for what I was needing done. They didn’t waste any time taking care of my dental needs. I’m so glad I found this office!

I truly appreciate that Dr. Mason saw my mother even though she doesnt have insurance. The fact he provides the service of: x-rays, dental exam, and cleaning of teeth for $60 is truly appreciated. I truly appreciated that his staff and him were great with my mother and could explain everything in Spanish. My mother claims that she felt nothing when Dr. Mason was cleaning her teeth which was GREAT! She did enjoy going to his office and his staff did make her feel comfortable. Thank you.

Went in for bottom dentures. Total lack of communication throughout the office. Wasnt given options for implants or procedures. Put implants into roots of two teeth, one tooth had cracked roots and the other he only did partial root canal. Denture was cheap looking and did not set into posts, so I went to another dentist and they couldnt get denture to go in because posts were off centered. New dentist had to redo everything and screw posts into bone. Upon pulling the 2 existing teeth, dentist found a piece of dental tool that broke off in the root. I feel this dentist is 30 years behind the current technologies.

I received excellent customer service from denist and all staff.

They were able to squeeze me in last second before closing (god bless them) after I broke a tooth. They unfortunately weren’t able to extract my tooth but the office staff and doctor assured me and put me at ease that they’d find a surgeon that could first thing in the morning. They were able to give me temporary relief until I could be seen again. Everyone was incredibly friendly and sweet. I felt comfortable with everyone I interacted with and felt like they not only liked their jobs but they cared about their patients. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone and will be going back again.

Today I had an appointment with Dr. Mason and he was absolutely amazing. He was very friendlyand explained everything through my exam. His staff was so friendly and thorough. He’s very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He’s very honest about what is going on with your teeth and what he feels needs to be done. I highly recommend his office and team.

Ive had the pleasure of two appointments so far for a deep cleaning. Both times i was in and out in about 45 minutes. The Doctors are very thorough and the proceedure was explained to me up front and the plan going forward with my care. Im very happy.

This is the most efficient and friendly dentist office i have yet to find in my 2 years in San Antonio Texas. From the first phone call to the actual appointment every person i came in contact with was helpful, friendly and informative. As long as im in Texas i will not consider any other dentist office.

New dentist, moved across town. All of a sudden from last dentist I have 8+ cavities. Then he fixed 6 of the 8 and parts of my teeth are falling out. Now weeks later all the teeth he repaired hurt!! Like really sensitive to cold.Never again.Now thanks to insurance i have to wait 2 years before I see another dentist to get cleanings or they wont touch you because of Xrays.

Dr. Mason is an honest, straightforward dentist with affordable prices. He really helped me out and set me straight when I was in trouble. I had gone to another dentist who had diagnosed me with 13 cavities. I couldnt believe it. The procedure would have cost me around $3k. Dr. Mason was recommended to me and I traveled to San Antonio for a second opinion. He said that I only needed two fixes for my teeth - the two teeth that were part of the botched procedure from the other office. Turns out this sort of thing happens all the time by other dentists who want to make a lot of money off of fixing what doesnt need to be fixed. He was efficient, quick, and effective, with very little pain involved. And the price of the procedure came in somewhere around $200-$300! I was so relieved. I might live in Austin, but he is the dentist for me.

I’m usually afraid of going to the dentist, however I had an extremely pleasant experience at Mason Dental! All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. The office is very clean and hardly no wait time to see Dr. McAlister. They will also do payment plans if your like me and have no dental insurance. I now have a treatment plan and I’m no longer afraid to visit the dentist! Also for new patients there is a $60 special that includes cleaning, exam, and xrays! I 100% recommend coming here! Horrible left one third inch gap on a crown he set for me and left it open in the back so food was going in under the back of the crown and large pieces of food were getting trapped between the crown and it got infected. After two doses of antibiotics I allowed him to fix it but still have quarter inch or more gap in back where food still gets trapped every time I eat something and crown not completely sealed all the way around it. Also, came to find out the hard way, but he used a drill to clean our teeth and has caused us thousandths of dollars attempting to fix all the damage he did to myself and spouse. God almighty exists and He is a God of vengeance and wrath. The Word of The Lord saith Better one tie a mill stone around his neck and throw himself into the deepest ocean than hurt one of my children and we are both Christians. He told us he had to fix a lot of teeth to stay out of jail and keep his ex-wife happy. He said he had a new wife to support too but, I never dreamed that he would destroy our teeth to have paying patients to pay his child support. May the Lord help him and bless him. I will never return to this sick dentist nor will I ever recommend him. Thank you for your time in reading this and I pray this never happens to anyone else.

I was referred to Dr. Mason & from my first visit I have been so impressed, happy, & thankful for Dr. Mason & his staff. Ive not once felt uncomfortable or nervous or embarrassed or felt judged and Im just so appreciative for Dr. Mason & his assistant who always make me leave there feeling better and smiling bigger. Im not made of money & I dont know if other dentist charge less for their procedures but I do know that the comfort I feel in your office is worth more to me than any amount of money I spend getting work done. Without all of you I would not be smiling today. These days I look forward to my dental appointments instead of dreading them. I would recommend this practice to anyone & everyone. If you want to deal with true professionals who have your best dental health & patient care in mind then this is the place for you.
