Very thorough exam and updated technology x-rays used for consultation. Previous dentist never uncovered the fact that I had an old filling that was deteriorating or gave me as much information as this dentist by showing me where and why I needed to update some fills. Previous dentist would just clean my teeth, he did x-ray but always told be everything looked good, felt more like an assembly line. Without fixing my fills, this would have led to future problems with my teeth. Glad I made a change, thanks to a good friend that referred me to them!

I recently had the pleasure of having my teeth cleaned at this location. And it was by far the BEST TEETH CLEANING experience I have ever had. Although that may sound funny, it was all thanks to the warm welcoming and amazing service provided by Ryan Sierra, the dental hygienist. By all means, if you are new to this location, I highly recommend requesting him!! You are sure to be welcomed in with a warm smile, humor, and great services.

Coming from a small town and starting on my own as a young adult, I was super anxious to go to a new dentist office, but I’m thankful and glad I did. :) Having some bad experiences put fear in me, but as soon as I walked through the doors I was greeting with warm, smiling faces. Throughout my visit, the dentist assistant asked me personal questions to make everything feel comfortable, everything was thoroughly explained and all my questions were answered. Which are very important to me because I like to know everything that’s going on. Visiting Dr. Spalding and staff is literally like going to a friends home. Dr. Spalding and staff have worked together for over 20 yrs, theyre INCREDIBLE!Regarding the amazing magic they create. Costs the same as every other dentist office in town (with insurance), but much nicer in practically every sense. They dont push things you dont need, but let you know what needs to be done and will get you patched up without much wait. They do basic medical dentistry very well, but they specialize in cosmetic dentistry and it shows.

I have trusted Dr. Albritton with my dental care for almost 10 years. He is kind and professional, willing to answer all my questions and concerns, and has made me feel confident in my smile. The staff is outstanding, and the office is always clean. I wouldnt trust my dental work to any other team of professionals!

Im the 38th straight 5-star review, and I cant say Im surprised. Very professional - definitely the most thorough exam Ive ever been given. The doctor and assistant walked me through the Xrays and photos and gave a detailed explanation of everything going on with my teeth (and more). The equipment was all very modern and ergonomic, so they do their best to make it a comfy experience. Staff was a pleasure to speak to. Highly recommend.

I was a patient when he shared a practice with the late Dr. Alfred James Selness So, as you can discern, I am dating myself rather transparently. Ryan was a great hygienist, but unfortunately this is over shadowed by the offices poor billing practices and lack of genuine customer care or follow up presented by the rest of the staff.

When I came to them some years ago, I was like an abused dog: TRAUMATIZED by a previous bad dental experience that left me almost dead and mentally scared forever. Would have rather heard the sound of an RPG whizzing by than the sound of the drill. . . . they do not have to tie me up and blindfold me anymore. Dental care by Dr. Spalten, Dr. Nichols and Dr. Beefcake Walker (sorry girls, hes married to Dr. Cupcake Walker - hes quite talented as well in his particular dental specialty) could not get any better if Kimberly Guilfoyle was there in a bikini holding the drill, pnuematic inserter or electric tire iron. I am no longer the traumatized dog. I found my forever dental family. Chief Dental Assistant Jennie is totally AWESOME with comforting manner and demonstrating superior technical experitise. She doesnt have to discipline me anymore or put me in line with the threat of a 16-penny syringe. . . . Dental hygentist Ryan really knows what he is doing. You come out of there thinking another year of life has been added to ones hull life after he has scrapped all the barnacles out of your mouth. Scheduler and Biller Raquel is totally SPECTACULAR in her ability to accommodate the patients schedule, administrative follow-up in scheduling follow-on appointments and keeping track of billing. When my organization was quiting one dental health plan, I sent her the eight they offered as replacements and she advised me which one I would get the most coverage for!! How AWESOME is THAT!?!?! Then there is Debra, the Office Manager or in my terms, the FIRST SERGEANT who cracks the whip on unruly patients like myself. She has a 20-inch swagger stick with electric prod and knows how to use it!! So, the bottom line, if you dont get signed up with DENTAL PROFESSIONALS OF SAN ANTONIO with Dr. Thomas Spalten and company, you might consider yourself and idiot. If you go somewhere else, youre just going to have to live with what you pay for: less-than-stellar care by a lesser educated and lesser experienced crew. My wife, Babelicious, a retired nurse even likes them - she knows what good vs bad treatment is. Good coffee, cookies, the tv is always on and the restrooms are clean and ready for inspection. No, they did not offer me free anesthesia and drugs to say this. Theyre that good.

Ive been here twice to see Dr.Albritton and him and his team are amazing! His dental hygienist (I believe thats her position, if not, I apologize) is so great with their patients. They are both so passionate, compassionate and knowledgeable of what thy are doing. I had a basic cleaning with X-rays and then went back to have cavities filled and to have bonding done. They put me at ease as I have anxiety so I tend to get nervous when at the dentist. Not only are they great but their work is too. I wouldnt recommend anywhere else!

I always enjoy going to see Dr. Spalten because he is such a nice person and always has a smile for you. The staff is awesome, makes you feel like you are part of a family so no matter what you need to have done you are treated special and for me that is important. I have a 2 year old grandson who tells me that I have a pretty smile, he likes my smile so much that he has pictures of me all over his bedroom and in his toy box so that when he is playing he can see me. This baby notices a smile that was created by Dr. Spalten which is priceless to me because until I met Dr; Spalten I never smiled and now I smile for no reason at all, even to strangers. I highly recommend him to anyone of any age because he is gentle when working with you so you dont have to worry about something hurting.

Great experience! My sad story started with a tooth breaking on a Friday. I called two other dentists. One was not open on Friday. The other just had no available appointments for Friday and really didn’t make a serious effort to get me one any time soon. I then spoke with Raquel, in Dr. Albritton‘s office. She went out of her way to get me a Monday appointment. They were waiting for me Monday morning. The diagnosis was thourough and clearly explained. The work was done painlessly and promptly, and I was kept informed of what was currently being done and what the next steps were. Dr. Albritton was great as were the others in his office. I highly recommend Dental Proffesionals of San Antonio!
