Was a huge fan of this place, would definitely call myself a regular. Came in on Thursday for fills as usual and by Saturday this is what they looked like. Came in to have them re-polished a different color in hopes of not having the same problem again. Only to find out after they were done that I was being charged full price of $35 for the correction. Will not be returning. Back on the hunt for a new place. :(

I dont get my nails done very often and dont know all the differences between products. Thomas helped me decide what would be best for me and the picture I used for inspiration Thomas was very friendly and patient. He took his time and Im very pleased with how my nails turned out! I will definitely be back again.

No offense to this salon AT ALL but Personally I will not come here again if I want a design that requires really good skill. The first photo is what I wanted but when put on it looked nothing like it. So she was nice enough to look at a more easier design I wanted as my second pick and did that one instead. (Last picture is what my second pick was). I do like this nail salon for definitely more of a subtle nail look. Employees were friendly, decor here is amazing! Could be a bit cleaner (someone else’s acrylic choppings under my chair/scattered around the floor) but that didn’t bother me. A decent place

Came in as a walk-in and was helped immediately! I got the super deluxe pedicure (something of that nature) with shellac polish. I got the basic manicure with shellac polish. Everything came out perfect. The only complaint is my cuticle did bleed.

Diane did a great job on my nails. I love them! I think I found my new go to for my eyebrow waxing.

Decided to pamper ourselves with special pedicures. I had the champagne and rose, boyfriend had the margarita pedicure with a margarita to drink as well. I let Son know he had free reign to do what he wanted on my nails. Once done with pedicure he worked on my nails and his creativeness was refreshing. It was nice to not have to decide on something. He even surprised me with a bit of glitter on my toenails which I loved.I have never been to a nail tech that was so into their work as much as Son was. He was very detailed, never felt rushed, and took pride in his work. Will definitely be going back.

Very disappointed in this place.Came in to have my nails removed & painted.Lady came and brought me a bowl full of acetone and asked me to rub my nails myself, and walked away she came back many times reminding me to scrub my nails, I guess I should of just done this at home,She then painted my nails, as you can see she did them as fast as she could to rush me out, the nail polish doesn’t even reach the top of my nails. And they chipped right away, I was never offered something to drink, all the women in the facility were sipping margaritas but I guess since I wasn’t spending a lot of money there why offer me something.The place was full, all staff had a customer so I assume they do great work..... if you’re spending money!!!Very disappointed, was hoping to return since it’s so close to home but this shows a lot about taking care of customers.

I went in for a Pedicure and Full set nails. Best pedicure ever, but when it came to the nails, they were done poorly. Its been about a week and it already looks like I need a fill. My nails dont grow thah quick and my cuticles werent even touched. There was glue left on the side of my nails. I would definitely recommend the pedicures tho.

This is one of the nicest salons I have ever been to. A slightly older Asian woman with medium length hair and a ponytail did my nails and pedicure and she did a wonderful job. The colors that yall chose to paint your salon are beautiful and extremely soothing. The music you play is soothing as well. To be honest it almost feels like a upscale salon. I also appreciate that there is not a lot of chit-chatting going on between the workers. Thank you for an enjoyable relaxing experience.

This is by far the worst nail place I have been to. My nails are not at all the same length. They are also poorly shaped (I got square) and overall horrible. They took 2 hours to do my nails. I had to completely redo them by myself. I had plans so I couldn’t wait another hour for him to reshape and take off nails. Please save your money and don’t come here

This was my first time here and I am so impressed. I brought back my 4 daughter and they ALL loved their nails and that is hard to do since they are ages 27, 25, 20 and 17. Not to mention we all had someone different doing our nails. Usually it’s only 1 or 2 people at a nail salon that can do really good nails but it seems like everyone does a great job. I was also impressed because they had a couple of clients who just seemed like they wanted drama, (complaints about where they were sitting, that they had to get mani done before pedi, etc. just silly stuff and took things to a different level) everyone here stayed calm and handled everything with tact and as not to disturb anyone else. I will definitely be back. Thank you Tony. (Not a good pic since we were showing off our rings but you can see 4 out of the 5 nails)

Staff was friendly, my mom and I did a walk in and they accommodated us quickly. My mom had her nails dipped and I had my old dips removed and opted for shellac this time. Choices were good for both. Place was clean and nicely decorated. They are also compliant with recommended COVID-19 practices. We will return for sure.

This is my favorite salon that I have ever been to. The staff are all so kind and the place is very clean and well priced. I needed a simple gel manicure and it lasted for a whole month. Would 100% recommend for the area.

I normally love this nail place but my last two trips here have left we very unsatisfied the first time I had an unpleasant visit I ask to keep my real nails the guy acted as if he understood then promptly cut my damn nails off. I didnt not get and apology nor a discount... this last time which was 9 days exactly if you count today not only have a nail broken off and I had to get redone 2 days after spending 103 dollars three nails are mixed match in size they have been peeling and chipping since day even got the gel needlessly to day I wont be going back to get half as work for over a hundred dollars

Ive been going to this salon for months and have had no issues (besides the time I saw a roach), but my most recent appointment was HORRIBLE! It was my first time with this particular nail tech (I couldnt understand what her name was) and she was the worst. The whole time she kept pushing down my cuticles with her very sharp nails to the point where I thought I was bleeding multiple times. After an hour and a half for a simple infill, I paid and left. The next day the polish on one of my nails was already lifting so I immediately went into the salon to get it corrected. Many of the techs came by to look at it ( and gave me smug looks/started speaking in their language, as if it was somehow my fault). Nevertheless, it was fixed and I was on my way. Well, here it is 3 days later and the same thing has happened to another nail! I will not be going back as they made me feel so uncomfortable the last time. Unfortunately, I will have to take my business elsewhere. Please work on your customer service and further training certain techs.

Recently, the nail tech I was using at another place, left. So I was stressing out on finding a new nail tech that was just as good or better. I looked up some salons, and found this place and saw how good the ratings were, so I thought I’d try them out, and also it was a lot closer to home than the other place I went to. I just came home from this place, and the service was done way better than I expected. Diane was the nail tech that did my nails. She was very patient with her work, and only cut me once, but to me, it wasn’t really a big deal. The pricing is just about the same as the other place i went to. I’m not yet sure on how I feel about this place, but I’ll definitely give an update when I go back for a new set in 3 weeks. You guys, I may have just found myself a new nail tech.

I LOVE this place. I have tried many nail salons since moving to San Antonio 13 years ago and Bollinger Nails is by far the best. Diane is amazing. She is nice and and always listens to what I want. And it isnt noisy like a lot of the other places. Its nice and relaxing. Definitely 5 star worthy!

As a regular customer with my two sisters and mom spending nearly $50-80 each person, I believe we deserved better/quicker service. I understand when it is busy but I was skipped over twice with my feet sitting in water for almost 30 minutes before being helped. I only stayed cuz my sisters were already getting their pedicures and I was treating my sister for her birthday. Not only that, my sister had a 10% text coupon for her birthday and her punch card was maxed out on this trip qualifying for $10 off the service. Sadly only the 10% coupon was applied and not the $10 off. then she was told she couldn’t get a stamp for the visit that we spent $100 on. There was miscommunication between the guy who rang us up and the lady who was helping us. The lady ended up tearing up the visit card not realizing the $10 off was not applied because she used the 10% off. Of course no one spoke English and didn’t understand our point of giving us back a new stamp card showing the 8 other visits my sister had accumulated. It took five-10 minutes of trying to explain we didn’t want the 10$ off but that we wanted the stamp card back. Not sure why as I doubt I will be going back but my sister created a bond with a couple of the ladies as she has been a regular customer for the past couple years. Wouldn’t you want the long term customer versus worrying about a $10 discount from overpriced services already? Guess not. A few ladies there are nice and good at rendering good service which is why I have 3 stars but management needs to get it together if they don’t want to lose customers and possibly staff in the future.

Place is nice. Prices are decent. Beware of the $20 upcharge for shellac/gel. Most places are only $10. Made my first mistake of assuming. 4 stars because I would come back here but the upcharge for gel is just insane and I’ll never get it from this place again.

They did great work but have charged me twice now for a $5 “environmental fee” that I just noticed on my receipts, I called to ask them about it and they said that it is to pay for the “cleaning costs” and that everywhere else does this as well...I did let them know that is actually not the case at other salons.

This is my go-to for pedicures. I have always had a great experience but today was amazing. Hana was my tech. She took her time with my leg/foot massages which are the best part of a pedi, in my opinion. I got the organic pedicure but they offer many different ones at various price points. Drinks are offered upon sitting down, everyone is friendly and they even offer a rewards card they stamp for every service. Fill up the card and get a discount on your next service.

Nancy and Kevin are my favorite but the whole team is so friendly and do great work. I have visited a few surrounding nail shops when moving to the area and found that this is the only place I would give my business to. You will never feel rushed or rude service here like the other places. I love how welcoming they are to everyone. Keep up the great service Bollinger Nails.

I am a regular at Bollinger and I absolutely love this place! Everyone is always so sweet there, always am greeted when I come in. It’s super convenient to my home which is why I originally started going and now I go because of how friendly and relaxing the environment is! There is only one tech I would stay away from, I do and ignore him completely and there’s no problem. This doesn’t bother me at all, the good far outweighs his negative attitude. I especially love the frequent card points!!

My toe nail length are all uneven and the way she polished my toe nails are terrible. Top coat only on part of my nails; you can see where the top coat started and ended part way. Even the polish job on my finger nails are terrible. Not smooth, you can see the streak mark of the nail polish. I was only trying this place out, not coming back

They seated me right away even though they were really busy. Tammy did a great job on my toes and hands. She took her time and fixed any issues I had. I will definitely be going back!!

I been to Venice and Bellas nails with a wait of over 45 min and felt over charged. This place gives better quality and attention to detail on pedicures. I go straight here and never wait! They also have drinks as well.

I love coming here, everyone is nice and I have never had a bad experience. Today when I was paying, I messed up a nail getting to my card and the lady noticed and fixed it for me for no additional charge. I had just accepted I would have a messed up nail, so it was really nice of her to fix it.

Been to a couple different nail salons on Culebra, but this one is by far my favorite! Walked in for the first time today and Andy did an excellent job. Very welcoming, professional and detailed. My favorite set ever. I will definitely be coming back :)

I didnt have a good experience. The guy who did my nails, he sits next to the pedicure area, made my nails look thick and clunky. I get the dipped powder to protect my natural nails. I dont regularly get my nails done and honestly usually do it around Marine Corps Ball time Oct and Nov. However moving to Texas my nails have been breaking so I decided to start getting them done all the time. So this was set #1 and NO dont have him do it! Thick powder on your nails is what youll get.The pedicure I got seemed to be alright however I feel like it was 90% done. When I expected the work there seemed to be some things that couldve been done better. Ive had better jobs done elsewhere and had to direct the lady on what to do. Im not there to help someone do theyre job, but if you want something done right,.... I wont be returning

Had my nails do e by DD and he didn’t even bother to cut my cuticles, or making them look nice and even, nor made me put my hands under the light... 2 nails fell of 1 week later . I was so confused why he brought the light but didn’t let me put my hand under 🤷‍♀️.Not going bk !

The service was horrible! I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and she asked if I wanted my lip waxed too. I told her yeah, I need it pretty bad. Please wax my lip too. She waxed my lip and she said See!!! You had a lot! I said ya it was pretty bad. Then she said but look! Its a lot!!! I told her Yeah, I get it. I know it was pretty bad like I said. Then I looked at myself on the camera on my phone cause she didnt let me see myself in the mirror only to see that she took half of my eyebrow off! I went to pay and she wanted to give me a punch card. I told her no thank you I dont want one. She handed it to me again and explained that I needed one so I could get a discount when the card fills up. I told her No, I should get half off right now since you took half my eyebrow off!!! This is the only time Ive ever walked out of a salon of any type feeling worse than when I walked in. She humiliated me when she insisted I look at the lip hair she took off and then made me feel and look ugly when she took half my eyebrow off. She didnt try to apologize or show any remorse for messing up my face. And then you want me to keep track of a little card so I can come back and let you treat me like that again!? Youre out of your mind!!! If there were a zero stars option that would be my selection.
