I have been very impressed by this karate school. They instill positive values and thoughts into the minds of their students. Good, solid, traditional hard working values, accountability and inner strength. Theyre great role models for kids! The physical training and techniques are practical and make sense. The instructors have a great balance of being serious when needed, but injecting humor into class at times as well. All the instructors are upstanding people, the place is kept clean, and I have zero complaints about how they run things.

As a retired AF officer, we had been looking for a professional Karate program for our boys. World Karate is simply outstanding! They reach the hearts of the boys and girls who attend and offer them lessons in karate and lessons in life in a great style interspersed with humor that our two boys 9 and 7 love!! They look forward to going every day - personalized instruction from the World Karate team ensures that these boys and all the boys and girl’s love it. It’s not play Karate as some on the area but rather as they say it ‘serious fun!’ Absolutely processional, personable, and exceptional teaching / training every session. Reasonably priced both for the normal lessons and the exceptional Karate Camp in the summer. They have our highest endorsement and recommendation!

A lot of people are capable of teaching martial arts. Punching, kicking, etc. Only a few are able to teach being a better person.Mr Brown and his team do just that, the focus is on making the students better people through martial arts. Effort, leadership, humility, are all lessons they teach to the students while they learn the punches, kicks, rolls.They are all phenomenal teachers and Im thankful that we found World Karate for our son.

They say it takes a village to raise a child…I can honestly tell you that we consider World Karate to be an integral part of our “village.” This place is just awesome, the lessons our son has learned have been far beyond just martial arts (and the martial arts instruction is top notch, these guys and gals are the real deal) - they really encourage kids in particular to become good humans as well as strong karate students. In 2 short years, our son’s confidence, physical strength, and goal setting skills have grown exponentially - all thanks to his time at WK. The instructors have known his name since day 1, and they take time to get to know all of the students personally. They also make it fun! In a world where participation trophies are the norm, it’s nice to find a place that doesn’t award belts until they are truly earned. Heck, I’ve even learned a thing or two about self defense just by watching my son’s classes! I tell everyone I know about WK, just can’t say enough good things about them. My kids have been students at World Karate for about two years now. I probably can’t say enough good things about the program: friendly, inspirational, convenient, and professional.

My son has been attending World Karate for 4+ years. He started as a Little Dragon and moved through Phase 1, Phase 2, Phase 3, all the way to their Jr. Black Belt class. It has been a wonderful experience, he has confidence, coordination, and amazing self-defense skills. The best part is that the instructors focus not only the physical development of their student, but their personal development as well addressing discipline, control, responsibility, kindness, and sportsmanship among their students. The program evolves from basic Karate at the initial levels, to other martial art disciplines as they progress through each phase. After 4 years, my son is still looking forward to attending every week, the lessons are not repetitive, they build and evolve as the student advances. As a Jr. Black Belt, he is still learning new things and looks forward to mastering new skills. Highly recommended.

World Karate is awesome. Our whole family has been training here for years and the quality of instruction is consistently top notch- even in a pandemic. They have been so flexible and creative to keep training going for students both in studio and at home if they prefer. The training is a great work out, but it also teaches strength of spirit, confidence, humility and integrity. It’s such a great influence to have in our lives.

The instructors live by example; Mr. Brown is a seasoned ultra marathon runner with thousands of hours under his belt, thereby reinforcing the unbreakable spirit mentality he teaches his students. The instructors are family oriented - providing potlucks every Christmas to encourage a sense of belonging and community. The World Karate team is never pushy to get families to sign lengthy contracts, a practice that is very common at other schools. This is a great Karate Studio!

Awesome martial arts academy! We started with just our son to help with discipline and focus, which they were terrific with. Instructors spend time at the end of each lesson to talk about life lessons with the kids which we really appreciate. Now my entire family goes, including my wife and I, and we couldnt be happier with the team! Not only are the instructors fantastic, but the higher belts are always trying to help the other students as well - just a wonderful atmosphere every time you go!

Been coming to WK for little over two years with my nine year old. My oldest is a first degree black belt in Taekwondo, so we are very familiar with the martial arts family. By far this has been the BEST experience for my son. Mr. Brown, Mr. Kimbell, Mr. Abraham, Miss Cassie, Mr. Kaleb, and all the staff there are incredible. Mr. Brown and Mr. Kimbell have a gift relating to the young children. They build their confidence and their strengths. Its not all about self defense, they spend time talking about life lessons, and how to be good citizens and making good choices and how to treat one another. I myself get a dose of lifes lessons while sitting through class! I have great admiration for the whole staff! Our WK family is growing and we have made great friends there too! Best investment we ever made for our son.

Please please take your children here to learn marital arts. The instructors here build up children and teach them valuable life lessons. This company really cares about their students and they are so fairly priced! It is worth the investment.As an adult attending the classes, they instructors explain direction clearly and they are very careful with the exercises where injury is prevented.I highly recommend this place!!!

Recently I attended a womans self-defense class at WK. Mr. Brown gave us great insight into situations we could find ourselves in then shared techniques to use to defend ourselves. The class was an hour and a half, and chalked full of information, techniques, and practice! I recommend this class to ladies of all ages!

2 of my 3 boys have been coming to World Karate for a year. We have all been very happy. No dragging reluctant kids to class- they look forward to going! Instructors reinforce values of integrity and hard work. We looked at another martial arts studio nearby before deciding on World Karate- I felt the instructors were more “up front” and positive while still focused on training. I also liked that no additional equipment or cost needed during the first year of the training as kids can often change their minds about what they want to be doing. World Karate has been a great fit for us- we plan on continuing our boys training for as long as possible.

Phenomenal school for adults and kids alike. Ive trained in many different places and this school is unique. Ive been here for over ten years. It is of a higher caliber than any other youll find in this area, has a reasonable monthly due with no long-term commitments, and a focus on quality and substantive instruction. You and your kids can learn everything here, from conditioning to stand-up sparring and jujitsu (groundwork). First-timer monthly trials are available for $30, last I checked. Families get a discount on subsequent members. Well worth the investment in yourself, check them out.
