During my trip to San Antonio I decided to pay this place a visit. Whoever is in the area to this gym is so lucky to have it; you are in good hands here. The three coaches in the gym during my stay were all excellent. They are all knowledgeable and highly motivating! The clinch work in this gym is incredible. There is a lot of care put into this gym. If you are worried about sanitation, this gym has you covered. Very clean environment. If I ever come back to San Antonio, I know where Ill be training!Thank you, Kingdom Academy, for your kindness and the fun times. πŸ™πŸΌ

TJ and Daisy are amazing teachers. They teach you like a professional whether you intend to fight or not, and every student gets one on one time with the coaches for corrections as we go. It’s fast paced, and hard, but everyone in the gym is encouraging and friendly. I never felt any of the usual discomfort that I would normally feel walking into a gym being a big girl, and that’s amazing! I could not recommend a better gym!

This is the ABSOLUTE best Muay Thai gym I’ve trained at in the United States. The positive energy you feel when you walk in is as uplifting and inspirational as the coaches and it undoubtedly resonates throughout the entire Academy.Training here is a truly life changing experience. I had the pleasure of training here for a week and the coaches have molded me into an unrecognizable Nak Muay. Their technical understanding of Muay Thai is matched with the traditional gyms I visited while in Thailand. Their ability to explain it in a way that everyone from beginners to professionals can absorb the information is unheard-of and a testament to their understanding/experience in the art of Muay Thai.I recommend everyone to train here. Everyone should have the opportunity to train at a gym where you KNOW that the coaches care about you while also achieving exceptional results in such a remarkably short period of time. A phenomenal gym with truly exceptional people. I love this place! Can’t wait to come back!

Kingdom Martial Arts Academy is the most beautiful & wonderful place to learn authentic Muay Thai in the USA, theyve put so much work and time into this place (their personal journeys living, training, researching, fighting, and learning Muay Thai in the Kingdom of Thailand is apart of the academys foundation, they will teach you what they have been taught by many legendary trainers and skillful fighters from Thailand). They have brought all of the technique, IQ, style, skill, & training from Muay Thais motherland to US soil for us all.Theyre a lovely team and the most beautiful hearted duo: Family friendly as they are parents as well. Not only do they teach the physical aspects of Muay Thai, they also share lots of insightful and mindful gems as well. After all, what we think becomes our reality and its nothing but positive vibes with these two: They have so much love for Muay Thai and they are more than happy to share it with us. Thank you KMA! You can tell they simply have a strong foundation just because of who they are . They would be a good example of the theres no such thing as a bad student, I dont think anyone would be a bad student from his gym . Hes just too good of a teacher he takes his passion very seriously, you can see it in the way he speaks he lives his life as if everyday was a martial art. Pure intention

During this pandemic I was not able to train as I was accustomed to. Being confined to home left me with little options. I usually check my IG in the morning and I came across TJ and Daisy’s online training post. I knew of them through my son who followed them for a while, but when I saw his training and fights I said to myself this young man will do great things. I was so fortunate to take the course and now I’m on my second month. The training is tailored to your style and body mechanics, and my IQ has increased tremendously. I have never came across an online course like this. If distance learning is this comprehensive, I can only imagine what training at their gym would be like. Honestly, I don’t know if I will go back to my old gym. I’m hooked! If you live in the area please visit them, you will not be disappointed.Ron T

I set a goal a few weeks ago of getting back in shape (which has been tough over the last 10+ years with a family). I woke up and decided the best way to get in shape was to do something I loved (martial arts) married with accountability (a coach). TJ and Daisy (owners of this academy) have been amazing coaches for my son and I and I have not worked out this consistently, with this much intensity since college. I’ve added quite a few marital arts skills to my knowledge base in a relatively short period of time and feel like I’m a Muay Thai apostle for life!

The authenticity and professionalism of the owners, Daisy & TeeJay, show just how much they put into not only this academy, but also their students. I am an MMA fighter from Killeen, TX and I made a 2 hour commute to train with the best of the best for the last two days. I’ve taken two amazing seminars from these two knowledgeable people in Austin before their gym opened up & when I found out they finally opened up a gym here in Texas, I knew I had to make a visit! I have always been seeking to learn traditional Muay Thai to add to my toolbox, & these two have never failed to teach me something new every single time, as well as fine tune habits and tweak things up in order to ensure I attain my goals in my fighting career, overall. During this pandemic, they managed to maintain high standards when it came down to the cleanliness and hygiene from the atmosphere to the students, themselves. The patience they took to explain techniques to where I could understand things better was a big deal because most gyms aren’t willing to invest that time, which is a big problem I came across at a lot of past gyms. They explained why things worked a certain way and the reasons behind those reasons. You can tell when people have invested their heart and soul into something and Daisy & TeeJay have something really going on at Kingdom Martial Arts! Many people in San Antonio and around the area REALLY need to look into this academy whether it’s to get in shape or if you want to fight! They will take GREAT care of you!Kap Koon Ka!

It took me some time to leave this review, Id go on Google and I start to write, then I stopped because the words I was writing werent enough to describe the energy, knowledge and work we received from KMA. But even if words cant fully express the greatness of this place, ill try my best.Walking through the doors of the academy we felt instantly welcomed, we were greeted with amazing energy and automatically felt at home. We had the privilege to be trained by TJ and Daisy, the knowledge and experience coming from those two are priceless, we flew from FL to texas just to train with them and the improvements we made in just couple days with them at KMA is equivalent to months of training somewhere else. If muay thai is part of your journey here in texas or anywhere else, or youre trying to learn something new, i cannot recommend KMA enough. Not only youll grow as a martial artist/fighter, but also youll grow as a human being, you will gain mental and physical strength that you didnt know you had, just like we did.Youre already in the right direction if youre here reading this, now just give them a try, i promise you wont regret it.Go, go there and youll understand why I say words cant describe it. It’s rare to see a foreign fighter adopt proper Thai form that you can see has taken years of immersion in Thailand, dedication and close attention to develop. What’s been even more incredible is TJ and Daisy’s seamless transition to coaching and coaching online for me in particular. Few great fighters make great coaches. But this pair really do. This is where they stand out with their attention to detail and passion for the sport that translates into a commitment to their students’ development like no other. You learn more from them online than you do by flying to Thailand to train. The folks in San Antonio are so lucky to have you in town, if only they knew it! Here is the in-depth 4-week Clinch Course review I made with my training partner. This was given to Tj and Daisy shortly after the courses completion.Punctuality- 5/5Subject Understanding-5/5Coaching Proficiency-5/5Enthusiasm-5/5Uses Resources Available in an Effective Manner-5/5Accommodation-5/5Problem Solving-5/5note: The problem solving was particularly impressive. We appreciated the humbleness you guys show when there is something you are unsure about (which is rare haha). For example, the fact you messaged the twins to get clarification on something was really telling.Honors Commitments-5/5Reading Soliliquys-5/5Fun-4.9/5 (We cannot lie, that homework is dreadful some days haha).Overall rating for the Coaches-5/5Overall rating for the Course-5/5In-depth Review for Coaches- Working with both of you has been quite a surreal experience. Every now and then Evan and I are still taken aback that we were lucky enough to work with you guys. Although your approach to teaching coincides with the parable of teaching a man how to fish instead of catching fish for him, summarizing your tutelage as such is simply not adequate. Despite the differences in skill+knowledge between us as students and you as coaches, both of you urged an environment that promoted mutual respect, attentive listening, teamwork, and competitive fun. These elements accompanied by the occasional philosophical affirmation really created a true gym-like atmosphere. More specifically, the sessions rarely just felt like a workout, rather they often felt like an opportune time to become a better version of ourselves both physically and mentally. The fact you both were able to create such a great vibe with just your personalities, knowledge, and a webcam is unreal. I personally have worked with professional strongman and powerlifters through this similar online process and not only did it cost much more, but it was also on easier subject matter, and yet the experiences pale in comparison to this one.- Although this was brought up in the last evaluation, Evan and I would just like to further express how much we value Daisy as being one of our coaches. Although TJ seemingly dropped many diamonds to provoke one`s physical and mental growth, Daisy you were equally integral to this process. Every time Evan and I address you as Kru, nod our heads at your input and so on, I can promise you there is underlying respect behind those actions. Rather, we are not just playing along or pretending to listen. No no, BOTH of you are our coaches. Like Tj said, you guys already know this, but you do deserve to hear it.In-depth Review for the Course- From our perspective, this course took a linear periodization approach. I have no clue if you guys are aware that this was occurring or if it was just an instinctual by-product but it definitely worked for Evan and me. More specifically, the homework sessions started out as being longer, with higher volume and lower intensity. As time went on, an inverse relationship happened as the volume decreased but the intensity grew. This counter-balance was great because, in the beginning, it allowed us to rep-out the fundamentals, and then later on (as the volume decreased) we were able to practice with more intensity and realism without getting over-fatigued (due to the volume decreasing). Furthermore, the course allowed for proper specialization to occur. Although we learned many new things among the last 4 weeks, it was integrated in an adaptive way. Therefore, instead of having a pool of techniques that is too much to learn at once, each technique ended up building upon the other.-The PET was short, difficult, and effective. I have known Evan since kindergarden and I dont think hes ever been this strong or has had this much muscle.-Every video session review you guys did, in each of their formats, was effective.
