I went there for years. Maybe two years ago it was different. Not so good anymore. But recently I had my oil change done, and I was impressed. I mean I had to wait for about 90 minutes but it was worth the wait! I forgot to mention that my car had a recall and I had no idea. That fixed that too. On top the wipe(cleaned) my car from the outside. So I dont want to give 5 stars right now but would when I go back and have the same satisfaction.
I came in late in the afternoon with no appointment for a problem starting my car. The service manager was very professional and explained that they were already behind with scheduled maintenance but would run a diagnostic on my car if I could wait. He did as promised and it turned out to be a battery problem…quickly replaced and I was good to go. Great experience and I’ll take my Hyundai back when I need additional service.
Service advisor, Brian, was great to work with. I took my Sante Fe Sport in for the Anti-Lock Brake recall, the software upgrade having to to with Engine Knocking, an oil change, and an estimate for getting the plastic that wraps around the bottom of the seat replaced. He got my car in and out quickly, but I thought he had forgotten the software upgrade. Since the reminder I received in the mail didn’t mention the recall number, we finally figured out the reason the service tech didn’t do it was because that had already been completed on a previous visit. I paid for the part for the seat, and Jesse scheduled me to get the work completed. It’s obvious the dealership is short handed, but hats off to all of your employees that are coming in to work, and doing their best to keep us satisfied.
I bought a used car from here and in one month it died on me. I had the car towed back to them two weeks ago. I called numerous times and could not once get the service department on the phone. So one week after having it towed in, I went in person to get answers. I told them how annoyed I was that no one was communicating with me. Brian, my service advisor, told me he would call me with answers later that day. He never called. So I called him the next day and he told me that Joseph, my salesman, had my paperwork and that he would be calling me. Never got a call. So I called Joseph the next day and he told me to talk to the service manager or his manager. Guess what? They never answer the phone, even after I leave messages. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I am completely regretting buying from here. It’s been two weeks and I have not been given any insight as to what is wrong with my car, if it will be fixed, and how long it will take.Update: I had to again go in person to find out they were replacing my battery and waiting for my alternator to come in from out of town. They told me it’d be ready on a Friday. On Friday, I was told my car wouldn’t be ready until Monday because they were replacing the fuel pump (which is what we suspected was the issue all along). On Monday, I was told my car wouldn’t be ready until Wednesday because they were replacing the fuel pump ring. Finally Wednesday rolled around and I got my car back. I am very grateful they replaced these parts for me at no cost, which they didn’t have to do since I bought the car as is. However- I hope I never have to come back to this dealership. The customer service is terrible and they pushed dates back multiple times, causing an inconvenience for me over and over again.

Went to get my car inspection done on 9.12.2021 on Saturday morning when the open and was told it will take a few hours. This was fine since I was doing a garage sale that day. I started to call for a status update at 1pm and the front desk lady took my information and will have the mechanics call me back. I waited another hour and a different front desk lady answer and did the same thing I brought up the fact this is my 2nd time calling and I have not gotten an update of the car from the mechanic. She said ok she will bring it up with her manager. The manager called me a hour later to see what was going on and inform me that she will personally walk to speak with the mechanic and I should here something. By now it’s 3:30 pm so I went directly over there to ask the status since I never got a phone call back and didn’t want to be without a vehicle for the next day and I felt in my gut that they were going to close early that day. Got there and spoke to Brandon the guy who took my suv in the morning and inform him that he was the guy that took my suv and I would like to know what’s going on. He went to check inside the shop and took 14 mins to bring the suv back. He said he went ahead and wash it for me which I do greatly appreciate. Once I was getting the paperwork I noticed that I was charge for the inspection when the last time I brought my suv there I was told by the last guy that I wouldn’t be charge due to the fact that it was free base off of the paperwork when purchasing the vehicle. I brought that up and Brandon resolve the issue as I was leaving I look over the paperwork and noticed that the inspection paperwork was missing and went back to get that so I can get the new inspection sticker. I was a bit annoyed that day but after all that my suv is back and good. Also Brandon called back at 07:51pm on 9.13.2021 and was asking what I called about in which it was basically me calling about the status of the suv from yesterday. I would recommend a better communication system to help customer trying to contact the mechanic side. Hence why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5-stars
Although the current pandemic distribution issues are problematic for car dealerships, I appreciate the time that Service Manager, Clary Lunday, spent with me Looking forward to getting my Hyundai Tucson back as soon as it is possible. Those service techs certainly have their hands full during this unusual period of time!
Took the morning off work to have my car serviced (oil change and tire rotation). Informed when making the appointment that I would wait (dealership in Kansas where I use to live would service my car in under an hour)Drove 20 minutes to the dealership. Checked in and straight off the tech wanted to do the hard sell to change air and cabin filters. Informed the tech I will do it myself, still claimed it had to be done a 20k miles, once again informed him I will do it myself. Then he said he would text me with the recommendations with work to be done on my car. Stated I just need oil change and tire rotation. Then the tech states it will be 2-4 hours before my car would be ready. Informed that wouldn’t work, that I had an appointment for my car to be service at so I could get to work. He stated there was 8 cars ahead of me. Took my car keys and started to leave. Then another tech blocked my car and waved me down. He then tried to get me to stay and claimed there was 2-3 cars. Drove around him and left. Not sure if this is how to treat all customers or just women. Called to speak with the service manager and operated stated he was not available and he would call me…..three hours later, no call back.
Went in on Friday September 24th. The salesman that approached us was extremely rude. I told what we were looking to do. And it was like oh well are you going to test drive the car. I said no I dont want to drive anything without working some numbers first. The attitude he had made my husband decide to leave. We wont go back
Avoid this dealership! They tell you that you will have free oil changes. What they dont tell you is every single one of those oil changes are going to take 3-4 hours. They will tell you about this great app to schedule maintenance and oil changes but when you arrive you will be told they dont take appointments for oil changes. Bottom line dont fall for this sales pitch. It is nothing more than false advertising. One word best describes this business. Incompetent!
Great working with Rob, salesman and Kevin in Finance. I was informed that i lost my grandmother while at the dealership and the staff showed much compassion and worked to get me the best deal when i returned to complete my purchase. My only issues were the length of time it took to be acknowledged and paired with a salesman (possibly a manning issue) and the promise to fix a scratch that was already on the new vehicle. I am still awaiting to be scheduled. Other than that, I got a great car
The sale process took a little longer than I expected. David is an excellent salesman. The 520 mile rd. trip was well worth it. I got the car I wanted. Very happy with the purchase. Would definitely make the trip again.

Everyone has there own experience but Im grateful I had a positive one. It was my first time buying my own vehicle and found no issues. Love Hyundai make. Its an extremely well made car. World Car N. Needs to fix the parking lot pavement, because there is alot of potholes, and cracks. Hyundai showroom is bare. No receptionist. No refreshments, if it wasnt for my love for the brand I would be turned off by the up keep.But staff works hard to service their customers.I truly hope Owner gets more service personnel, Fix the lot, and make the showroom more alluring.The place looks ghetto. Service Dept. 0is extremely short in staff, they ones that are present, work so hard. No one answers the phone at Hyundai,when I leave messages, there is no response.
Best experience at a dealership so far. (Granted I dont buy cars often). I knew what I wanted, and what was reasonable price wise. They met all my requirements and expectations. Virginia, our sales person, was totally transparent and a pleasure to work with. Definitely recommend asking for her. Couldnt have asked for a quicker and easier experience.

We signed paperwork Saturday 9/11 that payments for a Hyundai Accent would be 253 a month like we saw online and had someone different come out and explain that they weren’t able to get approval because of the time we were in on a Saturday but they did assure us it would work out and they’d be able to keep the 253 monthly payments and we signed papers for me to take the car home that night and told us to come back Monday 9/13 to finalize paperwork and our salesperson told me to send a text to let him know when we’d be back down and said that the paperwork would be ready and they kept us waiting and didn’t have our paperwork ready at all and instead reran the numbers numbers and came back and had a completely different number for us saying the payments would be over $300 monthly cause only one bank would pick it up and they couldn’t honor the agreement we already made Saturday 9/11 of $253 a month. I’m autistic and I was very excited for my first car and I fell in love with the vehicle only to have it torn away from me by dishonesty and lies and empty promises. When someone gives me their word, as an autistic, I expect them to keep it because I don’t lie. So I’m very emotionally heartbroken and so upset that I no longer have a car when I need one to get to school and work. I will never be back and I will never suggest this dealership to anybody ever. Horrible customer service and dishonest people.

The Salesperson Brandon was absolutely great. Unfortunately, his management team provided horrible support to the young man trying to make a sale for the business. The management team has poor good faith practices and business ethics that should be investigated by the teams ownership, that is if they are not the source to the problem. Brandon did everything in his power to stay true to the sale until finance and sales managers did not keep their word on the sale after I was ready to complete the sale with a $10,000 down payment to be delivered on the spot. They additionally, gave a ridiculous lowball offer on a vehicle I was interested in trading in. Hopefully, they take care of their talent because Brandon was the best salesperson Ive had in a long time. He was very personable, knew the vehicle capabilities and specs inside and out, was very informative, articulated himself well, and was honest with his sales offer. Surely, a young talent any other dealership would continue to mentor and develop to take on higher positions of responsibility within their business. Unfortunate experience, that wasted my time.
Worst ever customer service... They booked an appointment for me and asked to be there. They asked me to wait for an hour and finally told the cars I asked is not available for test drive or even to look.The manager himself was also having a proper gratitude to the customers.Beware never ever buy any cars from them.
Having recently decided it was time to retire my faithful ride of 20 years, and after checking out a few dealerships (thanks sweetheart) almost before I knew it, I was again the proud owner of a brand new, right off the showroom floor, had to have been made for me, gorgeous red ride! Dont waste your time or money here. Since were in a covid hot spot during the Pandemic, I made an appointment. Checked in, and was asked to take a seat in the lobby. I was told someone would be right with me. Walked out 40 minutes later, without a single employee/sales rep saying a single word the whole time I was there. What kind of sales dept lets someone sit in the lobby 40 minutes without checking to see what they need? Pretty pathetic. World Car clearly does not care about their customers.

Im a very understanding person when it cimes to repair. But this place really needs service advisor that they know what they are talking. The advisor acts like he dont know what hes doing. He keep coming back with charges the we already discussed. That was already taken care of. Customer service is poor. I hope for improvement.

I was actually planning to go to a different Hyundai dealer, until I checked my maps one more time and decided that World Car was closer to me. Imvery glad I changed my mind, since the other dealer would have charged me 9$ apiece for the batteries I received from World Car at no cost. I said to my wife after I got home, I think Ive found my go-to Hyundai dealer!Besides the savings, everyone was extremely helpful in showing me how to get where I was going. Its a big place, and I dont walk very well any more, so I was very appreciative of the time several people took to point me in the right direction, despite the fact that the parking lot seemed quite full, and Im sure they were all busy. They made a great first impression!

Although, I was suppose to be out of a car a whole month it was done in 3 weeks. I thank everyone for working so diligently on my vehicle and giving me a new engine. I am military in the medical field who lives in Houston and my car broke down in San Antonio on my way back home. I always dread dealers, so we visited about 5 Hyundai dealer locations before settling with this one. They offered the best price for the same Pallisade, and ended up giving me what I wanted for my trade in after declining the first couple of offers. The best part of our experience was actually the salesman Robert Barton. He was so funny and interesting to talk to. We really enjoyed having him to work with and I left with a better payment than I was expecting.
I went into World Car Hyundai North and was instantly greeted at the door and met with David to go over what I was looking for. I was interested in test driving the Palisade and he was very helpful in showing me what they had available and was very knowledgeable in the vehicle. I had recently been in an accident so safety was a priority for me and David made sure to go over all the great safety features of the vehicle. Scott was giving very much loan shark. It’s very weird that a dealership wants to keep business but they don’t acknowledge guests when they walk into the business. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. Not to mention they tried to low ball me on my trade in when I already had quotes from other dealerships higher. After saying that all of a sudden Mr.Scott was able to make the price higher for me for my trade in. I spent a total of 6 hours here just watching and waiting for finance to finish my paperwork and after I signed my contract they didn’t even adhere to it and give me a full tank of gas and fix the system that says I need service on a brand new car.A lot of red flags, to people coming in make sure you are stern if this manager Scott steps in the room be prepared to put him in his place or walk, there are plenty of better dealerships out there where management will treat you better and actually acknowledge you when you walk into the darn dealership.TL;DR Scott is a shark who doesn’t really seem to care what you think and wants to go by his rules. Try other dealerships if you’re not ready to put up with his ego or being ignored when you walk into the dealership. You’d think they’d treat you better when you already have shown the intent that you’re ready and you’re here to buy.Fin.
The best part of the entire experience was our salesman Virginia T. She was personable, friendly and a total joy to work with. She listened to what we were looking for and helped us each step of the way. Even after the sale she said if we needed anything to just let her know and she meant it. Work on car oil change was excellent, but rating at three stars for not reporting back on a part order status.
I had an appt set for 10 am however it was a two hour wait. No happy with the lack of service. This is my 2nd time getting a service done. 1st time it took it a month after I bought my car, it took over 6 weeks to get my car back just for window tint, interior exterior protectant and wheel locks. That is something I will never understand.
I had been taking with Veronica for about a month on purchasing a new Palisade. She was very helpful and let me current with their inventory. We finally decided to come in and test drive and we got the pleasure to talk with Scott. He was very knowledgeable and shared all of the features of the car along with answered all of our questions. The application process was very fast and that was very important having 2 kids with us. This was by far the best car buying experience!
Felt very welcomed and had no trouble getting my car an oil change. Friendly service and thorough with questions and answers. Definitely coming back to this location. Far of a drive for myself but definitely worth it.
My husband and I went to multiple dealerships including another Hyundai in San Antonio. Brandon Galloway was so knowledgeable of the Palisade and showed us how to work all the extra features. We were so impressed with Brandon and the car that we purchased the car that night. He worked until after the dealership closed to assist us which we greatly appreciated and called us the next day to set up additional features for our car. We felt very supported especially when making a big purchase is not an easy decision.

While a positive experience overall, we went through the typical sales pitch with the seller going back and forth with the financial manager to come down in price for a lease—- our third with Hyundai. They gave us the standard run around, wasted our time and forced us to cancel other appointments to sign a piece of paper. Over 7 hours total in two days to turn in and take another lease.
Had a great visit today! Clary gave great customer service and heard my concerns regarding my vehicle and addressed them in a timely manner. Wait time was great. Thank you Clary for making me smile on today and I will return... Blessings always!!!

If you buy a Hyundai just hope that you dont have to get it serviced at this dealership. All of my experiences have been subpar but the last two have been terrible. Ive had to wait 8+ hours for 4 hours worth of work on my vehicle and got no explanation as to why nor any heads up that it was behind schedule. This is after I had to wait 2 weeks to get my car back for lack of technicians. Uninformed staff that dont care about your time and mechanics that dont want to fix cars. All of that then I still have to pay the dealership rates for service. Know nowing that I HAVE to get my car serviced here makes me second guess buying another Hyundai. Horrible customer service.

My experience with World Car Hyundai North started off rocky. I went on a Saturday and should have known better because the weekends are busy wherever you go. I went to another dealership and was seen right away, and they had a deal for me the same day even though they were getting ready to close. I don’t make decisions on the spot and the other dealership started to get pushy, and so I walked away. I went back to World Car north again on a weekday, and was helped within 5 minutes. They offered me a deal, and again, I don’t make on the spot decisions, so I took a day to think about it. The general manager Bill, was helpful when it came to the incentives, he wasn’t pushy like the other dealership and was really accommodating when it came to the incentives on the car. When I finally made it back, The salesperson, Teka was very personable and helpful along the way. Northwest Hyundai was able to get me a better package with the car and for a lesser price than the other dealership. This was my first car purchase by myself, and Bill and Teka made simple and easy.
Went to parts department. Guy was super helpful. Didnt have part, but directed me to the dealership the does. And gave me the price so I Wouldnt get up charged
Ordered a part for my vehicle and it came within a matter of days! Installation/Labor was a breeze and Clary offered fantastic customer service. My vehicle could have not been more taken care of than in the hands of World Car Hyundai. I had a sunroof issue and it had to be replaced. Johnny was the best Tech in the industry to leave it in his hands and they were great at keeping me updated. Bill was so awesome that I got an alarm at home that my hood was open and the business was closed, but he came out to open the shop and verify my vehicle was safe and secured. I had scratches on my vehicle from who knows where but I know they were not on the vehicle when I dropped it off and Bill Sid no problem let’s schedule a day and time you can drop it off and leave it for a couple of hours and he had someone come in and buff it back to beautiful. Thank you World Car Hyundai North for going above and beyond to take care of us. May God Bless you all.

I can’t imagine ever buying a car from a different dealership! I bought my car in the middle of the pandemic and they still managed to make it special. I bought my dream car at a great price! From my salesperson Robert to the General Manager Bill, everyone across the store gives great customer service. I can’t wait to get my oil changed to see them all again :)

We went to this dealership to research Palisades. Our main goal was to see if my bad back could sit in the wonderfully high seats. Rachel Ray was so patient with us, was happy to spend the time we needed, and wanted us to make absolutely sure the car would fit me. We visited twice and her enthusiasm and patience didn’t wane. After visiting many car dealerships, Rachel is the first salesperson that seemed to be more interested in getting me the car I needed than in pressuring me to close a deal on a car that might not suit me. She also knew more details about the car than anyone else we spoke with. Be sure to ask for her!
Very friendly team! Received very good from Mr James Whiting, answered all of my questions and was ready to help! Came in for an oil change and as I was about to leave they came out and gave me a courtesy car wash! Great service!
I arrived early to get my vehicle checked out. My car trunk would not open with key FOB. Scott listened to my concern, was very courteous and professional. Trunk latch assembly was replaced in no time. Great experience with W C Hyundai. Thank you.

Update: they showed us a price they never intended to work with. they just wanted to scared us into a large down payment. I wont be back here Id rather drive to el paso and buy from a different shady car dealership
First and last time to use the service center.8:30 appointmentI wasnt greeted until the manager asks if I have been helped (roughly 10 mins), I let him know I have an appointment and he asks me to just pull the car around and they will take care of it. I pull the car into the service bay and wait next to the car for a while, I leave the car there and go in to wait.Shortly after the service rep calls and asks me about what the car was being brought in for, I let him know it should all be on the paperwork but the additional points above general service are to have the two lights on the display diagnosed, air bag and tire pressure (actual tire pressure was fine one of the sensors was bad), as well as the horn not sounding. The rep lets me know they are very booked but he will try to have someone look at it. (Why schedule service appointments you dont have capacity for?)30 minutes later the rep calls asking me where the keys are, I describe where in the vehicle they were left and then walk around tothe service area to show them, but the car had already been moved, meaning, they drove the car, lost the keys, and then called me asking where the keys are. I walked around the service area and garage helping look for the keys. They were found eventually, I only knew because while I waiting to check with the service rep to see what we were going to do without keys I see they had been tagged and are now in a clear envelope with my paper work.11:30 (3 hours after appointment)I am given a call, the car is being serviced and diagnosed now, we should know soon what needs to be done.12:30Service rep lets me know that the tire pressure sensors are on back order, but they do have the clock spring in house and that will correct theair bag light and the horn, I tell the rep that is strange since the issues arose at different times, I wouldnt expect it to correct both. He assures me this is the case and shows the mechanics notes on the paper work. He gets me a quote and lets me know it will be an additional 2 hours to have it done today. I agree, and ask since it is going to be another 2 hours to use my vehicle to drive thru for lunch somewhere before they begin work. The rep says he needs to get it over the mechanics but there are some options within walking distance.2:00The rep lets me know the work is done I mention the car looks like it is in the same spot as when I walked out for lunch, the rep assures me themechanic has returned the keys with the paper work and they rushed to get it done first so they could get to lunch at their scheduled time, I paid,he gave me the keys, when I crank up the car I see that the air bag light is still on I then test the horn which of course is still inoperable.I bring the keys and paper work back inside and let the rep know, he of course apologizes and drives the car back to the garage area. Apparently I had paid for part and service and none of the work had actually been done. I will note here, while a much smaller sin than fabricating the rushorder, as the rep as you are concluding service and collecting payment I would imagine you should take this time to scheduling a follow up with me or establish a time frame for when the back ordered tire pressure sensor is expected to be back in stock.3:30I seek out the service rep again, he says the clock spring is in but the horn is something else and it but it will be another 1.5 hours. At this point I just ask for my car back. With the shock of the last time I had cranked up the car, I was more thorough with checking the work done, the light for the air bags was indeed now off (the new clock spring is in), but all of the general service requested had been neglected. The oil was never changed. The tires were not rotated. I went back inside and spoke with Mr. Lunday, the service manager who, to his credit, did try to make it right if I bring the vehicle back again the next day, even offering to eat some of the labor costs, but I am afraid the truly disappointing service is too much for me to try my luck again.
Bought a Santa Fe new in 2015 and the engine died already. Really should get a longer life out of a new $30k car.
Today I dropped my suv off at World Car Hyundai North dealership and I was extremely please with Clary’s Excellent customer service. He made sure that my car was properly checked in for service and that I got a loaner car to use until my car was ready. Thank you Clary for making my experience today very pleasant.
The experience I had at this dealership was awesome. My salesman, Robert, was professional and really knew his stuff. He wasnt at all like most car salesman I meet. I highly recommend that anyone in the market for a Hyundai or Nissan visit World Car North and ask for Robert! He was absolutely fantastic.
Stay away from World Hyundai North in San Antonio. They are unethical and will waste your time.Heres how it worked for me. I shopped for my car online, selecting my Hyundai Tuscon from the available inventory.Theres an online payment calculator. You tell it about your purchase: finance or lease, down payment, etc. It applies incentives, taxes, fees, and shows a price breakdown and monthly payments. And it emails the offer to you. I had requested and received an offer for a lease on the car I had chosen.I went to the dealership for a test drive. When I showed the salesman the email offer that I had received, he disappeared into the finance department for a half hour. When he came back he told me there was a problem and that they would call me when they had the issue resolved.Several hours later, I received a call and was told that the actual monthly price for my lease would be 75% more than the payment I was quoted.I have a lease offer from their email address that they refuse to honor! Is this how an ethical company does business?
Victoria was absolutely amazing!!! From the moment we pulled on the lot she had a big smile and a wave. She was with us the entire way and jumped through every hoop I gave her to make this happen. We will be back for our GV-80 next.

Sometimes customers are asked to write reviews before the service facts are known. This is what happened when I took my Sonata Sport to World Car for a trunk lid repair which was under warranty. The automatic pop-up of the trunk lid had not only stopped, but would no longer shut manually.Immediately after the no cost repair, I noticed the trunk lid had lost the automatic pop up feature I had enjoyed and I wrote my review based on the assumption this could no longer be achieved. World Car Hyundai North (WCHN) reached out to me to say the automatic function could be restored and to make an appointment to have the trunk serviced again. I will do that when I have time at the end of April . In the meantime I am impressed that WCHN took the time to correct my assumption and will make every effort to restore the automatic function of the trunk lid.
