Im speeches when they told me “don’t worry sir no charge”. Came in for a simple wheels with tires swap and walked out with no charge. Never in my life experienced that type of service. I have an appointment next Tuesday and definitely future service will get done here. 👍🏼

I have come here so many times at this point its funny. Not because theyve done anything wrong, my Juke has just required everything under the sun now that its paid off, go figure. Everything they have repaired or done for me, outside of regular maintenance, has not required any additional services. I truly believe in the quality of their work and the integrity of the business. They are expensive, but owning and repairing a car is expensive. I have always been happy with my service and their communication with me. I know my car is taken care of there. I never feel scammed or as if Ive left with more questions than I came in with. They have a staff there that Ive seen for a long time which shows its not a turn and burn company. All in all, I always recommend this place to anyone who needs any car serviced because I trust them.

On May 4, 2021 I was driving on the new 281 Highway southbound when I had no choice but to run over a bucket that had been left in the road (cars were on each side of me). I had to stop and dislodge it. When I looked under my car it was leaking. I drove directly to Beldens so they could look at it. When I got there they were extremely busy. I didnt get his name, but he came right out and looked under my car, saw the dripping and assured me it was just condensation. I was worried it could something else and the guy could see I was still stressed over it, and although he told me it would be two days before they could look at it, he put my car right up on a lift to check it out. Turns out he was right and I was on my way in not time. Thanks so much! Even though I know it probably irritated him to do it, (he managed NOT to look irritated) he did and I am beyond grateful! They service all of our cars, but he didnt know that at the time and even though I tried to pay something he refused. THANKS AGAIN!!

Before i took my vehicle in for diagnosis i specifically called and ask if they could fix the problem. I told them the issue before i wasted my time taking the car in. I was told yes, so i took it it. 2 days later i was told my engine was showing signs of failure. Hmmm i want that scan tool. So they can see the internals without disassembly. Now keep in mind, my vehicle has 153,000 miles. Their recommendation on paper work is to replace engine. Even employed mfers dont wanna work. Smh so i went to Gunn GMC and 2 days later my suv was ready with no excuses. The service manager warned me about chain owned shops and their 2nd rated techs.

I took my Daughters truck in to get the Transmission Leak diagnosed. I was promptly greeted by Tommy Roy, he informed me that they wouldnt be able to fix it that day due to limited staff on Saturday (which I completely understood) but they could diagnose it. The technician performed a thorough Multi-Point Inspection and told me all the things that needed to be repaired. Tommy showed me all that needed to be done and with no pressure at all let me pick and choose what I wanted to fix. He made me an appointment to bring the Truck back next Friday. I was very appreciative of the honesty and no pressure sales tactics that other repair shop do. I will be recommending all my friends take their vehicles to Beldens Automotive for all their automotive needs. I will be back on Friday and will take all my vehicles to Beldens from now on.

I had a flat tire as I was about to head to work. Having just moved here from out of state I wasnt too sure where to go. This place was close to home and they opened early (7am). I called and they were able to fit me in and work on my tire in between vehicles. I was prepared to wait hours if necessary to get my tire fixed but luckily I only had to wait minutes. I was a bit confused when I arrived as far as where to go. Their auto shop is on one side and their waiting room is in the building next door. I called when I was there and let them know I wasnt too sure where to go. The gentleman that answered the phone asked me to wait where I was and he came out and directed me where to go. While waiting in their waiting room you could sense the positive team work vibe that they have. Inside was clean and everyone was super nice. I did some research and found out it is privately owned and passed down from father to son. I love supporting family businesses. We have definitely found our new place should we have any issues with our vehicles.

I called less than an hour before they closed and asked if they could squeeze me in for a state inspection. Despite being swamped and at the end of the day, they did it. Ten minutes and $7 later I was on my way.

Amazing service! I went for an oil change and I also asked if they can check my lights because it looks like it was about to go out. When I came back, they said that the oil has been changed and all my lights are working fine but can be changed if I wanted. I love the service. They are honest! Will be coming back here! They also wore mask. I saw the guy put on new gloves before moving my car. Before I was handed back my car keys, the guy disfencted it. Truly amazing service especially in this pandemic.

Beldens is a 1st class outfit! I made an appointment for my June 2020 inspection over the phone. The Beldens agent was helpful in explaining to me the 60 pandemic grace period, that they were very busy, but that he could give me the 1st available appointment on July 3rd at 8am. I showed up 20min early. The men behind the desk both greeted me and I was received immediately where they took my information and verified my insurance. I then had a seat and barely got settled down to read my emails on my phone when I was told my car was ready. I wasnt there 30min. and was ready to pay and leave. The men at the front desk were very friendly and efficient. The waiting area was comfortable and clean. This was the fastest and most comfortable inspection I have ever experienced. Ill go back again and again.

We tried this place for oil changes because of the convenient location. Unfortunately, on one car, they didn’t put the pins in securely and the oil splash shield fell off while driving and on the other car, they left the air filter cover loose. This seems sloppy and so I wouldn’t recommend this place. Also, they seem to always have an up sell on other more expensive services. Staff is nice though.

Did come with a 2 year parts warranty. Customer service was outstanding, I couldnt have asked for a better customer service experience, but just because youre nice to my face doesnt mean you get to stick your hands in my wallet. Thanks, but no thanks.Hope this helps everyone.***************************Update 11 MAR 2021:Spoke with Charlie (manager) and he owned their mistakes regarding miscommunication and offered $150 store credit which I accepted. Their prices are high but had they explained HOW they priced before they did the repair, it wouldve softened the blow a little bit. My Grand Cherokee hasnt had any issues or leaks since the repair. They did forget to plug my fog lights back in but that was a minor inconvenience. Not an issue so long as my Jeep is running great, which it is. Just make sure you ask for a detailed pricing ahead of time. Lesson learned on my part as well.Again, you CANT BEAT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Tommy and Charlie were both incredibly helpful! My engine locked up. Biggest nightmare when youre driving a car. They contacted the vehicle manufacturer for me to find out warranty info, recalls and a dealership to take it to for the covered repairs. Ive been needing a regular mechanic since Ive moved and this mess brought me these gentlemen.

Amazing service!I have taken my daughters Jeep Wrangler for oil changes to Beldens Automotive for a couple of years. This last time we were there, they called me to let me know that, during the service, they found a leak in the rear axel and to make sure I had it checked.I took it to the Jeep dealership and they indeed found several issues with it which, thank goodness, was still under warranty so the bill to Jeep Chrysler amounted to almost $3k. We only had 2 months left on the power train warranty. If it wasnt for Beldens telling us that we may have found out later, had to pay for it and maybe even had more issues.I was so impressed with their service and professionalism and they truly saved us this time! I will not take her Jeep anywhere else but there whenever service is needed! Thanks to all of the staff for being so attentive! Truly amazing service!

We have had our vehicles repaired at Beldens multiple times. Each time the staff has proven to be knowledgeable, friendly, and above all else, honest. Beldens truly will go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are taken care of. On one occasion after a repair, our vehicle started having issues again. With one quick phone call we arranged to drop it off at Beldens and the issue was immediately fixed.While we have always been pleased with the quality of work done at Beldens, it is the way the staff genuinely cares about their customers that keeps us coming back. Just recently, I was driving down Bulverde Road on my way to pick up my children from school and got a flat right in front of Beldens. I pulled into Beldens and found Eli eating his lunch inside. Without hesitation Eli came outside and changed my tire for me and quickly got me back on the road. I was truly touched by his kindness. Hello! I just went there this morning at about 915am. I arrived with a flat tire. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Although they were super busy he still offered to get my tires checked knowing that there may not have been a fix for them and may need them to get replaced. I waited for just a short while as he kept me updated on the status and sure enough, I had 2 tires with nails, one of which was completely flat. He offered to order tires for me and have them there by Monday to replace mine but unfortunately I needed the replacement sooner. I told him I could just call roadside and have them come put the spare and he said that they would do it for me! I was so impressed! AND I wasnt charged a penny for the tire change! He could have just brushed me off since I wasnt able to buy tires from their business and he didnt. The gentleman that did the actual inspection and change of the tire was also very helpful. I had so many things in my trunk that needed to be moved to inside my car so he could put the bad tire in it. He actually helped me move my belongings to the back seat. Such nice guys! Even though I live over in the Converse area, I will definitely go back to Beldens just because of the excellent customer service. Thank you gentleman and I regret not getting names to point out who helped me, but thank you.

I needed a rental car while my AC was being serviced, they made arrangements with a nearby Enterprise, and even made arrangements for Enterprise to come pick up the rental, so I could get on my way! I cannot speak highly enough of their customer service. I got new tires here 2 years ago and have since moved to Dallas. This week I got a nail in my tire and since Beldens sadly doesnt have any locations here in Dallas, I had to go to discount tire first and then the VW dealer because discount tire couldnt fix the tire. Beldens covered all of the repair costs as well as the cost to get new tire keys installed on all 4 of my tires. Beldens went above and beyond to ensure my issue was taken care of 100%, I know this is not the case with other companies as I have had experiences with others only covering a prorated amount based on how many miles you have on your warranty. If youre in the business for tire service, choose Beldens!!

Im changing my review because the general manager called me. Jason was courteous & made me feel like someone had listened to. He offered a free checkup on my car & I appreciate that. I still wont use them again but he made me less angry!

Great Service, Affordable, and always very clear about immediate needs and costs. They even helped us with working out payments by introducing us to the credit card offered. With the small emergency we had at the time it was priceless. Every time we go in, Charlie and the other guys, at the Bulverde and Evans location, are so helpful and polite. I love that I can ask a question and given an educated answer without making me feel stupid. I have already had my daughter up there too with her car.

Do NOT go here. They are a rip off. Brought my 2014 Camry in because it was making a weird noise. They said two motor mounts are gone, 3rd is going and all four should be replaced at a cost of $1400. Called Toyota for a quote. Toyota said they is no way the motor mounts should be bad and asked me to bring it in. Brought it to Toyota. They said there are no issues with the mounts and the noise was a loose heat shield. The found the problem, fixed it and looked over rest of the car for $140. Beldens was going to charge me $1400 for parts that did not need to be replaced and would not have fixed my problem. I HIGHLY recommend you do NOT go to Beldens.

Just moved to the area and in the beginning the decision to go to Beldens was simply based off of proximity. One of the best decisions we made. The service was great. Everyone in the office was courteous and professional. The service was completed quickly and exceeded expectations. They are military friendly and as soon as the gentleman we were working with found out I was a Marine he said he would make a point of personally ensuring my vehicle got the best care as he was a Marine as well.

Service on 7/11/19- Worked with Carl up front on my 2012 f150 that was having some coolant leakage and overheating issues, and he kept me updated the entire time and stuck to his promise to have the truck fixed by the deadline. He also went out of his way to be honest about the work that was needed to be done right now to have a working vehicle and to tell me what could wait. I will be back to complete the rest of the work next month and they have not only earned my life long business but I’m going to tell everyone else I know to take their vehicles here.

I purchased a 2012 Ford F350 diesel used and my friend recommended Ethan to check out my truck especially since I would be towing a 14k 5th wheel 1200 miles to Utah in the following month. He was able to give me the down and dirty of the possible issues and the good points of the truck without trying to sell stuff I didnt need. If I was staying in the area I would use this shop for maintenance on my truck.

Their service was so professional, courteous, and quick! I should have rated this place right after my business with them. At least I can honestly say that I have been satisfied with the service after nearly 4 months from date the maintenance took place. They even provide free rides home from their shop! This will be the only repair shop that I will trust with my car from now on.

Carl was absolutely excellent! He was attentive to my needs when I had an expired registration ticket. I am new to Belden and he explained services, helped me look into options for my oil change since I have an import and difficult to service. I don’t normally make appointments for my car outside of the dealer BUT Carl made it simple and easy. Sure enough! At my appointment it was exactly what was promised and within the time frame promised. Art completed the oil change and he was very professional, took extra care of my car to make sure it was not stained by oil or debris. Excellent staff at front counter and actively checking on status of cars in the bay, every employee made sure customers were comfortable in the wait room (water, coffee etc). Almost 2 years ago, upon moving to San Antonio, I asked who is the best most honest, reliable company for my automotive needs. I heard loud and clear Belden’s it’s a family owned business with multiple locations and family owned. I also heard it’s been around for decades.My local shop is on Bulverde near Evans Road. They not only take good care of me but I know my car is safe to drive. I have never had them try to up sell me or fib on repairs. The prices are very reasonable done in a timely manner and correctly.I don’t know everyone’s name but Carl, Charlie, and Jack are outstanding. They provide a free shuttle service as well

We moved from Virginia recently where we had a mechanic we loved. We were not looking forward to trying to find a new mechanic who we knew would not try to sell us things we didnt need. I read reviews for this location and we decided to try it. Weve had both cars serviced with oil changes, as well as brakes for the Lexus, and we couldnt be happier. So glad to have found a great, honest place so near our new home.

After moving to San Antonio last September I was in a quandary where to take my car when the Check Engine light came on. Finding Beldens Automotive was a lifesaver. I called & they were able to get me in the next day. Jason (Service Manager) was friendly, professional and assured me that they could take care of my car. I arrived the next day and Jason quickly took the information and arranged for a car ride home....I didnt even have a chance to sit down & open my magazines! Jason called a couple of hours later to explain the problems as well as recommendations by Kyle (Technician), outlining them and breaking them down with total cost so I could understand & make an intelligent decision. After approving the work, Jason called throughout the day with updates. By 5:30, my car was ready to go. Checking out was just as easy as bringing the car in....no waiting around! Great people, Fantastic Service and only 4 miles from my house as well as all ASE certified technicians, AAA approved repair facility & fair prices. Would highly recommend Beldens Automotive and I have now become a loyal customer for my two cars!

The customer service is really good, you can expect a follow up to hear how they did it, which is not very common nowadays. My only negative comment is the mark up in the price, but this is just me. If you are ok paying the extra to have the peace of mind of a good quality job, then this is a good place to go.

Sometimes it does seem to be a bit more money but when I’ve got my two year old with me and the oil change takes about 20 mins, I’ll gladly pay what they ask. I’ve had repairs and check ups with them and even have just dropped by for air in my tires, they are always super helpful and kind. They also recommend what I get done next time I get a change or repair, they don’t push anything on me same day unless it’s important. I recommend them to all my friends, and will keep coming.

Beldens Automotive on Bulverde treated me professionally and fairly. My truck had a break and signal light out, which could have varied considerably in price contingent upon the cause. Belden discovered it was a mere cable not completely snapped in and asked for a very modest amount to cover their time. They also gave me information that helped me decide if I wanted some additional maintenance. They were not pushy and very matter-of-fact. I will return my vehicles there again.

Completely professional, prompt, and quality service. As a woman in my twenties, its hard to find trustworthy mechanics that dont try to rip you off. This place has been amazing over the multiple repairs my car has needed in the past months. They keep you updated throughout the day on the status of the repairs and anything else that may need to be addressed. I will never take my car anywhere else as long as I live here in SA.

I would give it less than a star if possible, but unfortunately I cant do that. I took my car in to have a part replaced and I was confident they would be efficient, however I was quickly shown otherwise.First they end up messing up a separate part which cost extra money to have fixed. They then call to tell me once they have the car a part that they ordered the wrong part. They now have to order a new one, which may or may not come in by the end of the day. A fix that I was told would take 2-3 hours took more than a day of work.If they werent sure of how to fix the issue it would have been better to be told upfront instead of causing additional damage (which cost additional money).I wasted an entire day waiting for my car, was told I would be without a car the following day which I did not anticipate nor could I be without a car schedule-wise.My service should really in essence be free or deeply discounted due to the amount of errors encountered with this team.

I cannot brag on Beldens enough. I had an issue with a hub bearing that I needed fixed at the very last minute and they went out of their way to get my car in and fixed in a timely manner. Their customer service goes above and beyond my expectations. Carl made what would usually be a stressful process very enjoyable. Highly recommend these guys!

Last week I was in San Antonio with a group of many automotive shop owners across the country in town for a superconference. A few of us decided to go down to the Riverwalk for a few hours, but discovered a nail in the tire of our friends car. We called ahead, and were told they could get us in for a plug and patch. From the minute we walked into the shop, we felt right at home as they embodied what each of us shop owners strive for. Excellent customer service, clean and comfortable facility, friendly and welcoming manager and service writers as well as the service tech. Our time there was very pleasant and it didnt take long at all to get us back safely on the road. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!

If car problems are ever a positive event my experience with Belden’s was a positive. I experienced an alternator failure and had my car towed to Belden’s. They were very reassuring that they would have me back on the the road following day which they did. They sent a driver so I could pick up my car. Good service I highly recommend them.

My car was DOA, I had already taken it to a competitor that said it couldnt be repaired and that I should take the money and put it towards a new car! Firestone said it was either a blown head gasket or a cracked head.I decided to just drive it until it quit which was a bad idea. The water pump was bad, and it finally gave up the ghost completely. This caused excess pressure causing the radiator to blow. I did a search for auto repair on google with the zip code of 78259 and Beldens Auto Repair came up which was right up the street. I called them and they said that they could look at it and give me a call when they found what was wrong. They also gave me a ride back to work so I could. This was on a Saturday morning. They called back and said I have some bad news.... I expected the worst, the head gasket or a cracked head. Instead the mechanic said that I would need a new radiator, water pump and thermostat. It ended up being costly but what auto repair isnt these days? The bottom line is they fixed it the same day even though they warned me that it might take til Monday due to the labor involved putting in a new radiator. I was pleasantly surprised when they got it done the same day and an hour earlier than their estimates. They made my car a priority and spared no manpower to get it done the same day. Their fast professional courteous service was refreshing in a business that is fraught with fly by night con artists. They really saved my bacon fixing the only vehicle I have. After the repair they even sent a car to pick me up to get my car. The cost was also a pleasant surprise also costing 30 dollars less than what they quoted. For this reason I give them 5 stars and will recommend them to all my friends. All this with a guarantee added icing on the cake! Bravo Belden Automotive, keep up the good work!

They know what theyre doing and are knowledgeable but they were about to charge me almost a grand to change spark plugs and coils lmao. Thanks for the diagnosis though I guess.

Love Beldens and their employees are the best. They have the fairest pricing and the most honest people I know in the business. Ive had so many car issues recently and there so kind, helpful and have given me a fair deal. Highly recommend!
