I have been very happy with Larsons Automotive. I have a 78 Corvette and they have been a huge help! Not many people in the San Antonio area know a lot about classic Corvettes, these guys do. They are quick to respond and have reasonable prices. Beyond that, their maintenance is top notch. I will use them again.

Pete is an honest mechanic. Pete will let you know all options regarding work that is to be done on your vehicle. I recommend his shop highly. I know by posting this review the days of get in, get out are becoming a thing of the past. Petes shop is getting very busy. He is worth the wait. He warranties all parts and labor. I found my mechanic.

I stumbled upon Larsons Automotive through a recommendation from our neighborhood. Im glad I found them! I have had a check-engine light that I cant get rid of. Pete informed me of the issues he found and he was able to recommend the best solution. He explained my options and left it up to me to decide on what route to take instead of trying to persuade me to go the expensive route. His professionalism, honesty, and knowledge is something that can be hard to find. I would definitely recommend their services and will return for future needs.

This is hands-down the very best auto shop in NE San Antonio. Pete is absolutely honest, takes great care of his customers, and I have absolute trust in him and his team.They’re not the cheapest, but they deliver a service that’s worth the price.

After visiting the shop and meeting the owner I decided to put my car on the list after several months, yes months, and calling every two weeks to see where I stood, I never received a single call back. I was promised a call back but never received one.

Very saddened that I was told to replace my engine for $7k and I opened my hood and parts were just laid on top without being secured or bolted down. Either you didn’t bother to check anything and wanted me to purchase an engine from your sponsor OR you didn’t care enough secure the parts back. Either way, thanks for your professionalism to a Vet that was incredibly polite and put my trust you all ! We are all going through a rough time but that doesn’t mean we should omit common decency and professionalism. You all could’ve kept the military discount if you knew you were going to half check/diagnose my vehicle. Hope that $100 helps out some. I’m guessing you all choose who to treat accordingly, hence the reviews. My car is back on the road, thanks to honest mechanics. Catalytic converter. God bless.

I was very disappointed taking my car to Larson’s Automotive and was a waste of time and money. Had my car towed there non drivable because transmission was slipping they charged me $320 for a full transmission service. Then told me I needed a new transmission and it would cost $5200. I asked how much to rebuild my transmission and in a nut shell they told me they don’t rebuild this engine that it’s junk and disposable. It would have been nice to know this upfront. Needless to say, I learned my lesson about being thorough questioning before putting my car in a shop. Had to tow it somewhere else who actually does transmission rebuilding. Saving me a few $k.

Petes does a great job, no corners cut, very up front and gets it done right! 2012 dodge Cummins 2500 head gasket job at first, head ended up being cracked. He tracked one down for me and got it machined from a very reputable place. Installed and got my truck running like new. Thanks a lot for your hard work.

Took my daughter’s Ford Fusion in for front end noise. Had been to other mechanics who just didn’t take the time to diagnose the problem correctly and I spent money on things that weren’t the problem. When I took it in, I was greeted by Pete (owner), and before even looking at it, Pete had a hunch of what it could be. His hunch was right. He got it fixed and now the car drives like new! Ive been taking my 2005 Toyota Tacoma to Larsons Automotive almost since they first opened. The owner Pete, has always been very kind and professional. I have always been very happy with the work they have done for me. In my opinion has always been quality work. I refer all my friends and family as well. His prices arent always the cheapest but he is not as expensive as a dealership or some big name chain shop. What Im paying for is quality of work not some buddy I gave a 12 pack to and hopes that they fix my truck right. I fully recommend service at Larsons Automotive.

I took my truck to a different mechanic and they told me I needed a new ecm... but they couldn’t do the work. My wife found Larson and they told me that’s not what was wrong. They fixed it and it’s been running great ever since. They also found some other stuff that needed addressing. They fixed that as well. I highly recommend this shop. They sent me a hand written thank you for my business. That’s really an over the top appreciation for their customers!! If I need anything in the future I’ll go back in a heartbeat!!

The Larsons automotive crew are OUTSTANDING professionals! Great craftsmanship, polite and courteous staff, and great prices. Our vehicle overheated on 1604; they helped with towing, provided a ride for my family to the shop while I waited for the wrecker; they worked diligently to get us repaired and on our way. Pete was awesome. Diagnosed the issue, ordered what he needed, and installed the transmission in a super timely manner. His prices were so much better than any other mechanic I had spoken to, and he was actually a really nice genuine person. Pete is now my mechanic, regardless of the size of the job that needs to be done.

Larson’s Automotive is the BEST auto shop I have ever been to. Pete is extremely conscientious and thorough! Despite the fact that getting a car fixed is never fun, I TRUST Pete and his crew to always be honest and provide the BEST customer service. Pete helped me when a local Jiffy Lube put a petroleum based fluid in my brake fluid. This ruined my entire brake system. Needless to say, I will never go to one of the fast change oil places again. Pete will always get my business after the lengths he went to provide the best price and service in a bad situation. You can’t go wrong by taking your car to Larson’s automotive!

Pete and his team did a awesome job I took my 2007 Silverado in on Monday had her back by Tuesday and thats getting a fuel pump out of Houston price was solid but if I wanted it done write I knew this team could do it write will continue to do business with these guys thanks again.
