Ive lived here at Comanche for almost 4 years. There has been several changes In the front office to both management and the leasing department. The current and longest tenured leasing agent, Kayla, is excellent. She is not only easy to talk to but very understanding as well. Whether its a conversation in passing, or voicing a concern, Kayla is very pleasant, professional and welcoming.Like any apartment over time minor issues or requests are almost inevitable. I have to say though right away the newest manager, Elizabeth, has come in and made a very good impression! You can clearly tell she has been doing this for awhile and is awesome at her job. Without even speaking to her, the first time I saw her she was literally addressing an issue that I have had for some time. After getting the chance to meet with her, she again took care of another issue almost immediately. I am most impressed and very happy with our new manager. It is because of Elizabeth I am comfortable in saying that I Plan to stay here at Comanche until moving into my first home one day. I hope that she stays as well (fingers crossed).

I’ve lived here some quite some time & I’ve gotten nothing but the best service from Kayla and the team. Always responsive and swift with any problems or concerns I may have. Kayla is an amazing leasing manger and truly cares about the complex and goes beyond the ask to keep residents happy! Part of the reason I’ve stayed so long. I would highly recommend this complex to any and everyone. Friendly and welcoming environment and an amazing staff.

Management and Leasing came through in the most impressive way, they saved the day for me!I dont write reviews. Like ever. But, when my current living situation prior to moving to the Lookout needed me out sooner than I had planned, Kayla and the rest of the team worked incredibly hard to get my apartment ready much sooner than Id planned. It made my transition to a new place and a new job so easy.On top of that, the apartment looks fantastic. Renovated appliances, keypad/front-door locks, programmable thermostat, new paint and trim, updated cabinets, and brand new carpet! I would have had no idea that the place was renovated in record time, and Im so extremely happy that I chose to live here.I would highly recommend!

I’m a resident here at the Lookout. The staff is so amazing and welcoming, they are willing to work with you on just about everything. Elizabeth and Kayla are both really amazing people and helped me with so much. They are the best apartment management I’ve seen and worked with in a long time. Maintenance is amazing too and comes out to help as soon as possible and is definitely very responsive.

The management team here truly cares about their tenants! Kayla and Elizabeth both went out of their way to help us navigate a volatile living situation. Because of their efforts we not only managed to expeditiously remedy the issue but feel truly confident that the situation will not be a concern in the future. These women are amazing at problem solving and are truly passionate about the well being of the people who live here!

Kayla Sanchez, the leasing agent at The Lookout at Comanche Hill, made the transition of my father and sister in law’s transition from Arkansas smooth and flawless. She is a consummate professional who went out of her way to tend to every detail of previewing apartments, getting them established in an apartment and moving in. I highly recommend her if you’re interested in apartments in NE SA.

This apartment complex had many office managers. They all were bad except Kathleen Velasquez, She was good and honest. But i will say that the rates were just awful for residents with years with them. I lived there for over 3 and a half years and the rates were way more than newer tenants. If you sign a super long lease its slightly lower but nothing you would be comfortable with. Other than that its fine place

I wish I hadnt moved out! I moved to be closer to my work and management at my new place would get zero stars if that was even an option compared to the service I got at Lookout. Kayla, Kat, and Juan at The Lookout at Comanche Hill are an asset to this property management company. Kayla had my name memorized from the day I moved in, shes smart, friendly and professional. Kat, the manager, gets kudos as well. She knows the lease agreement inside and out and would willingly help and guide me through the entire website when I got stuck. Juan (maintenance) he can fix anything! He is so handy, knowledgeable, and willing. These folks return phone calls from their residents (unlike where I am now), and maintenance requests get taken care of ASAP. Lastly, Juan always left a note on my counter that he had been in my apartment with an explanation of what he fixed (unlike where I am now). I would give this complex 10 stars if I only could! Moved in a few days ago. Huge thank you to Kathleen & Kayla in the front office! They made this out of state, sight-unseen, middle of a pandemic move SO EASY! Hands down, easiest move Ive ever experienced - and Ive moved a LOT. Kathleen has been incredibly helpful and responsive (which is unheard of in my experience); she went out of her way to help me move a package indoors the day before I moved in which she did not have to do! Prior to move-in, I didnt get to see the place outside of photos/virtual tours and was not disappointed at all! Not only is the apartment beautiful, but I came in to a lovely hand written note & some essentials (queue waterworks). For those considering: new/recent construction, great proximity to 1604, I35, shopping, park within walking distance. Pool & community areas are closed due to COVID, however look clean & so far parking has not been a problem.Thank you, wonderful humans!!

Very disappointed with their communications, actually lack thereof. I filled out there online appointment scheduler and received an automatic reply stating personal will contact me. I received no such reply and when I left a message the night before my appointment I received no phone call back. Im currently staying just down the road on Nacogdoches and drove by the office and noticed that there were cars parked out front but decided not to engage further. Its bad business and completely rude to not respond to a customers or potential tenants inquiry. Sounds like I dodged a bullet on this one! Sorry Charlie but there are thousands of apartments.

I love living here, have been here three years and Kayla Sanchez has been so helpful and ready to help with any problems . You won’t regret moving in .

Community itself is quiet, small, and very well kept. I appreciate all of those things. The interior of the homes look very nice and Everytime I need something done by maintenance it is usually done fairly quickly. The newest community manager is very attentive and definitely shows she wants to make the community even better. There is literally no competition on nacogdoches road when it comes to apartment living.That said: I live on the first floor because I have 2 kids and I know they will make a lot of noise. The walls are extremely thin to where I can sing along with my upstairs neighbor when they play music. They also have a huge dog that jumps around 24/7 (literally making noise at 11pm playing with a dog toy) so working from home is frustrating especially now. They play fetch with their dog upstairs and I can hear the nails scratching the floor. I understand even closing a door sounds like an explosion so I try to take that into consideration, but the stomping and constant fetch playing shows lack of consideration especially after the manager has talked with them. There doesnt seem much more the community staff can do about it so I have dealt with this the entire time Ive been here. If you are going to live here I suggest living on the 3rd floor so you dont experience the same issue. after living here since it has been constructed, I am leaving when my lease is up because of this frustrating issue.

My wife and I lived here for 4 months before moving due to military orders. Our time spent at The Lookout was nothing short of fantastic. Peaceful complex, small community, and newly renovated. However, the leasing staff/maintenance are the BEST part of living here. Kind, responsive, and very understanding. This small but tight-knit community is definitely a gem in San Antonio.Word of advice: If you are active duty military, REVIEW the military clause to avoid any confusion when you PCS.Overall, The Lookout at Comanche Hill is a great place to live!

Ive been here almost 2yrs and at the beginning they were very good. In 2 yrs i have seen almost 3 managers in the front office.. this apartments are highly in price for so little to offer. The pool is dirty most of the time and when i go to the front and ask questions, the ladies dont have answer for me. I live on the 2nd floor and the concrete is very dirty (the hallways, stairs,walls, very stained because of the valet trash) they dont have good costumers service..

I absolutely love my apartment! I have lived in several different complexes and this one has been the best! The apartments are new, clean, and pretty quiet. The maintenance men are fast with completing work orders. The office staff are nice and dont treat you like a stranger. Alex was the manager I met first and now we have a new manager. She is really nice too. The valet trash is nice. You do have to watch out for dog poop when walking On The grass. I have never seen any bugs except maybe one spider but NO roaches and NO fleas! The apartments come with a washer and dryer. My electric bill has not been over $75 except during a cold spell in January. Parking is pretty easy to find too. The only downside is you can hear your neighbors sometimes. Other than that, I really love this apartment and I hope my rent doesnt go up too much because Id like to renew my lease.

I have lived here since April and I have never experienced great Customer Service until Kioti started here. She always keeps a smile on her face. She goes out of the way to help everyone.We appreciate her trying to improve the community.We are so lucky to have her here. It’s been a revolving door with Managers and Leasing Agents, but I hope she stays she is the best one we have had!

Communication is awful. They do not care for current residents. After moving out, they held on to an important package that was sent to us for a month! I still have not received it and am hoping to soon. They are very hard to contact via phone or email (practically impossible) and I know I am not the only resident who felt that way. The apartments are nice, but office staff is not very helpful at all. I wish I had nicer things to say.In response, I do not live in the state anymore, I cannot stop by. I should be able to call, but I cannot get a hold of anyone. Thanks.

They never answer their phone and are rude. I regret moving here every single day and I can’t wait till my lease is up. Also I love how they respond to poor reviews with the same cut and paste blurb. I can tell you right now that they don’t actually care, just attempting to save face.Edit: That was quick. I wish they answered the phone that fast. 🤔

TELL ME HOW THIS PLACE WANTS TO WAIT A YEAR LATER TO SAY I OWE A BALANCE. I HAVE CALLED OVER AND OVER NO ONE HAS CALLED BACK. FUNNY HOW THEY WILL SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS AND NOT ANSWER CALLS. I SENT MY MOVE OUT DATE 12/28/2017 NO ONE EVER SAID ANYTHING CAUSE THEY LOST THE PAPERWORK JUST LIKE THEY CHANGE THEIR STAFF.

I love these apartments! When I came into the office, Kiani (spelling is probably wrong) helped me throughout the entire application process and also helped me move in quickly! The apartments are beautiful and come with a full sized washer & dryer, which is a plus! I absolutely love these apartments, all my neighbors are quite and very friendly.

I have been at this location for the past 3 years since the grand opening. I must say the current Manager & assistant we have now by far exceed anyone previously. Im talking about a manager & assistant you can see walking the property daily maintaining the grounds as Ive never seen before Im talking from pool to gym to grounds parking areas. They are by far the best fit for this property. Always so friendly and helpful whenever I visit the office. Since coming on and managing the property myself and other tenants in passing say how great the property looks and what a great job the Office team is. I would highly recommend anyone looking to rent to visit the ladies in the front office at The lookout at commache hills. I promise youll want to call this place home.Re:Very pleased tenant. 👍

I been living here for 3 years and this year has been the worse due to work and covid i got behind due to lost of income and i file the rent assistance i only have one month and 2 weeks to be here before i move and i i am waiting for the respond of rent assistance and this new manager they have Elizabeth has been so disrespectful and she file eviction with only a few weeks that i will be moving out now is going to be hard for me to get a place .with no family here when i told her thank you for your help now that i will be on the street she say your welcome .

L checked the apartment look nice but when l see the the review a lot of bad reviews specially ((Mrs.Kira and Mr. Ramos ))they kinda explain everything important to me. l actually decided to not live there.

Yes, they have a beautiful view from the outside, however, in the 1 year that I lived here the leasing manager team changed 3 times. Nothing was documented from manager to manager. When I moved out, the leasing manager stated that I would have my deposit mailed to me (this was in December). However, when I called to check on this, I was now told that I was only going to be receiving a substantially lower amount back. I called the main office and they told me that I was actually supposed to pay them. This was a joke of an experience. I would not recommend this apartment complex to my worst enemy. I have had a terrible experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst experience I have had with an apartment.

Terrible terrible terrible management! If you need something, you have to tell it at least 5 times and argue with them b/c they keep forgetting and then they will do it. They will try to charge you that you are not supposed to pay. Apartments are actually nice and new but really really bad management. This apartment should be the the last resort, I regretted to rent this place probably a ton of times. Giving one star since there is no 0 star.

I am absolutely in love with this place! My wife and I moved from California 5 days ago and we were not having luck finding a place that met our needs. When we walked in, Kiotti put all of our worries to rest! She was not only knowledgeable and accommodating, she genuinely made us feel at home. Kiotti was relentless in making sure we had the apartment that met our needs and even assisted us with finding community resources that we needed being new to Texas. She never let her incredible smile leave her face and her professional demeanor spoke volumes to us. She epitomizes Southern hospitality and my wife and I are BLESSED to have met her acquaintance and found this apartment!

So it was just a chair I left and 2 bathroom carpet so they put $488 on collections, I’m having hard time to get a house / apartment, the management kept changing everyday there was different person helping me and they did not inform me about it, the lady told me she will working on installment plans but she never call me and the amount was sent to collections, very disappointing

This is by far the best apt. I have ever rented. The floor plan is great. The fixtures are modern but classic. Tall ceilings with crown molding. It is just fantastic. The staff are knowledgeable and very sweet. I would recommend this place to everyone. It is quiet and very secure. I love it and I dont ever plan on moving. Oh and it is very close to major highways and shopping. Ive been here for years now and Ive seen a lot of changes in staff but I need to say that our current leasing agent Kayla is by far the best. He goes above and beyond to help the residents of this community. I am not well and Im disabled and anytime I need something from the office she is willing to come to me so I dont have to leave the apartment. She is kind shes understanding and she always answers the phone when shes there. I hope the company appreciates and keeps her here.

Worst apartment complex! Not military friendly and a complaint had been filed with housing and black listed for military service members ! Charging us a whole months rent after the end of the lease not even to include the cleaning fees I’m sure they’ll charge! Absolute crooks that pray on service members, if I could give zero stars I would. Be warned.

Update: 9/1/18I have moved out as of July 12th 2018 and was supposed to be refunded $400+. They said they would send to my new address and still I have not recieved anything. I’ve called multiple times and dropped by twice to check what the status of the refund is at the front office. Finally I have gotten ahold of Clear Property management in Austin and they are working on getting my refund. This office only cares about getting new tenants. I am disappointed that I could not of had a better experience with my first apartment complex.If you are thinking of moving here, DONT! I have lived here since July of 2017. Up to January living here was great. The office was nice and helpful but now everything has gone downhill. The office staffing is a joke. I had a dispute with the office recently regarding rent and there has been zero contact with me as a tenant of 8 months. Ive emailed multiple times, and no response. Tried calling and was given unhelpful answers. When I asked to speak to the manager in person I was told that they didnt even know who the manager was at the moment. Sadly I really did love this complex and would have given it 5 stars 4 months ago but now this complex is terrible. Looks pretty on the outside and apartments are nice but the management screws up so much now its ridiculous.

We have been living here a little over 2 years and we have seen some office people come and go and they were adequate but in our opinion as far as Kayla and Kathleen they both are so helpful there are no words that exist in the english language to explain how we feel about them Kayla is so patient I needed help setting up the website to pay rent online and I had to call her at least 10 times for instructions each step of the way she was so patient and told me I could call as many times as needed and if need be she was willing to come to our apt. to help me anytime I need anything from either one of these ladies they are there for us If it wasnt for them we would not feel secure living here we are senior citizens and have questions and need help all the time and no matter what it is kayla is always there for us and kathleen is just a cheerful gem both these ladies are dedicated employees and always go above and beyond what is asked of them we feel very lucky that we finally have people in the office that know how to really run a property they get the job done and they do it pleasantly and professionally we just hope that everyone here including clear property realizes that kayla and kathleen are a rare commodity they have very high work ethics and we could go on but we will end with we love kayla and kathleen and hope that they never leave

Was doing some apartment shopping looking to relocate back to SA for job but got no where with CSR. Please refer to their website for information, do not bother to call with questions regarding availability or price offers, they will just refer you to the website. Funny part is they say just callback with any questions when thats is what I was doing in the first place. Seriously! Ridiculous!
