Ms. Kathryn gave me all of the information I needed when I scoped the place out. She remained professional and so helpful throughout my whole process! She definitely lights up the place. The property is very clean, pool and clubhouse as well. Very grateful she took care of all my needs. Oh also! When I ordered packages and they arrived too early at the apartment, her and her maintenance men placed my packages inside! Amazing service!
I love these group of people, Kathryn was my leasing consultant and working with her has made my first time renting an apartment a smooth and fun experience; She truly cares about what you need. I did get to meet some of the other team members and they were also as friendly, upbeat and professional as Kathryn. She comes highly recommended.
I moved into the apartments and within 2 weeks I had to go out of town for work and my vehicle was vandalized right in front of a building walk way and I was called and told my vehicle may have been vandalized and this was how it was left.I asked if the police were called and I was told no they needed to verify if it indeed was vandalized and I would need to call them as they could not do that. When I go back home a day later I called to see what would be done and if cameras were reviewed and was told that the police would need to request the video. I asked for a manager to call me and never received a call back. I attempted to call corporate and was told I needed to email them in which I did and never received a response. Now after my lease was up I asked that I do a walk thru with them on final inspection in which I made sure everything was intact to assure my $300 deposit was returned. Then I never heard anything back as to when we would do the walk thru and was told the resolution team would contact me and then I received and invoice saying I owed $772.84 because of the pet urine and the carpet needing to be changed. I had 5 adults with me when we moved out who also assisted me since I have a hurt shoulder and my pet never has urinated anywhere let alone in the carpeted area as I have never allowed my pet in the bedrooms, doors have always been closed. When I spoke to them I was told by Sam they could not do the walk thru with me since they were informed I had covid and it is contagious for 90 days. I am in healthcare and that is false. To think they would use this to their advantage when I am a front of the line employee who has had to be away from my young daughter to care for patients & never asked for a handout and for them to treat me this way is horrible. This place should not be allowed to do this to people, this is a horrible thing, that they continue to get away with. They post responses saying to please contact them to discuss the situation only to push your truly bad review down and never do anything to help resolve the issue.
This is the worse place to live. The trash is always over flowing causing an issue with raccoons, possums, a smell and other problems. You call to report it and you get the run around. If you have any maintenance issues, maintenance will not show unless you call again and remind them of the report. When you call about an emergency problem at your apartment, they tell you it’s not an emergency and tell you they’ll do what they can the next day. Now, I’m sure if you don’t pay your rent, they’ll contact you and give you warnings. Why can’t we as tenants do the same to them for not doing their jobs, not taking care of any maintenance issues, especially, emergencies when we pay good money to live here. This place should be reported and investigated!I gave one star because otherwise I would not have been able to post my review, but this place deserves no stars.
Dont move here. This company does not do business with integrity. They take no responsibility for issues that arise with the property. They hold the tenant responsible for property responsibilities. During the freeze they proactively shut down the water, in a pandemic - to protect the integrity of their investment. Maintenance is unprofessional. Neighbors are loud. Loud Music all day and night. Called the office to ask them to speak to the neighbors and was told that they have a right to do as they please in their apartment. The stairwell is filthy. There is poop all on the grounds. It is nice from a distance but it will be a very unpleasant living experience.
I recently toured The Lodge at Westover Hills and I will say that Katey was PHENOMENAL!! She answered all my questions during the tour, showed me the complete layout and was completely professional. I have not yet decided on a place but if I choose, The Lodge, is due to her. Excellent Experience!
Visited the property looking for a place to live in San Antonio and the representative Katey was so amazing and kind. She was detail oriented and showed us around the beautiful property. Keep up the amazing work!
Katy ha seven fantastic. She helped me get 2 apartments in a span of a week while I was still overseas. She is awesome
I cannot wait until my lease is up. My electric bill increased due to the lack of the maintenance so call fixing my ac. Since last month, maintenance had came to my residence a total of six time to fix the same issue. This past Monday, I reached out to the leasing office to tell them that I am having the same issue again. They stated they will send someone to fix my issue that day we waited all day no show. I called them Saturday to tell them the maintenance failed to show up to my residence. She stated they will show up that day. He did come but now it is Sunday and my ac is leaking again. We pay 1400 for what !
If they know you won’t be able to get apartment, they still let you apply to to take a quick $250. Saw bad reviews and ignored, now I wish I would’ve listened. BE WARY of this place .
Our leasing agent Kathy was absolutely amazing and made the application process so easy!
Got a call to go out there for a pregnant cat (Im with a rescue). As I was trying to trap it, a guy from the office told me to stop because they have a feral cat problem. I tried to explain thats why I was there, and I was actively trying to get the pregnant mom that was due to pop any day now and gave him more info on the rescue. He threatened to call the cops and said dead cats would be better. -_-
So my daughter and I moved here back in 2018 and I must say my experience has been much different than the reviews I have been reading. I have renewed my lease 4 times. Although parking is terrible if you come home around 10 p.m at night, this is a problem anywhere if you dont have a reserve park. I must say as for the staff and the work requests that I put in, they are done within 24hrs. I had a problem with the birds making nests and my building being infested with poop, but after making a call to the front office about this it was power washed the next day and the birds have not been back. I have lived in a lot of nice and expensive apartments on this side of town and I must say this one is meeting my expectations like I had with the other ones. I would like to thank the staff for there swift communication and there response to any issues I may have with my apartment. I do recommend these apartments.
I would not recommend living here. Although the grounds are kept and attractive, and there are staff members that truly have good intentions, this place has some serious problems with this community. Starting with the bug infestation. Over the course of several months, I have reported the presence of beetles coming into the apartment and dying in the masses. They suggested changing the weather stripping 5 times but the problem has not been resolved. Since the day I moved in my dishwasher was flooding and not draining. After putting in three separate service requests, the problem was never resolved. I eventually gave up and will likely be charged for the problem. As for the dog park, they replaced the grass with hard sharp gravel so my dog is now unable to walk in the area let alone run around. There is a stray cat problem that is slowly being resolved because I went out of the way to attend meetings and provide information on possible solutions. They charge you nickel and dime like most apartment complexes. There is no option for subletting and a $2,000 fine for ending a lease. I have experienced much worse but I do not suggest living here for what you pay.
The apartments are sub par for the price and that shows with all of the workmanship issues in the apartments. The repairs are half done and we requested maintenance a few times that took months to get someone to fix. I would get emails that the work order was complete and when I called the office to advise no one had been out there was no reason given to why it was closed. Not only do they charge you for valet trash they do nothing when the shady company goes days without picking up your trash and they can’t keep a contract with any of them. Additionally I paid for a reserved parking which they raise the prices on every two months and constantly had people parking in my spot. If you call the courtesy officer he will give them over two hours to move their vehicle and pretty much say you are SOL. On top of all that I had read tons of reviews about the complex doing everything they can to keep your deposit so we made sure to leave everything spotless. I unfortunately did not get to attend the walk through and would urge everyone not to make the same mistake. I recently received the last statement which showed they are keeping an$300 deposit on top of sending me an additional bill for $140. For an apartment that was covered in paint splatters and had cheap flooring that did not line up I can not believe they are sending a bill on top of keeping the deposit. On top of all of this my water bill averaged $80 a month and they are trying to bill me $104 for a water bill. If you make the mistake of signing a lease just make sure you are there for the move out inspection!
Don’t even know where to start with this place. Lived here for 2 years and I can honestly say we were happy with them for about 1week. Trust the horrible reviews about this place and stay away. So many more options in the area that are the same price and are up to date.First week in- Had a leak in the ceiling above our washer and dryer.Took 1 week to repair with a loud dehumidifier consistently running(24/7 that week) the entire time and no reimbursement for the electricity used.Few months later: our microwave went out and it took 10 days to replace.(wouldn’t of been a big deal if we didn’t use it daily, but we did.) They told us that the microwaves were on back order, and the previous person waited 1 month for one. After about a year of living here, we discovered mold in our master bedroom window right next to where our 1 year old daughter slept. Had to sleep in our living room for 2.5 weeks for them to get it fixed. Again, had the dehumidifier consistently running, with out reimbursement for electricity. They offered to switch us apartments but would not pay for movers.I’m sure I am missing a few things, but these were the issues we dealt with.On top of everything, the appliances and cabinets were super outdated. Now that we have been out for a 2 months, we get a bill saying carpet replacement was needed. (We shampooed before we left)We signed up to be present for the final walk through to avoid any crazy charges like we received. I was told “due to Covid we cannot do the walk through, instead you will get a bill from us in about a month”Seams like they will charge you for anything when you move out. Should of listened to the reviews when we moved in.
We’ve been here a month and already had a huge leak within the week of move in, staff is rude and when we needed a repair done FROM WHEN WE FIRST MOVED IN, the maintenance guy tried to say it was our fault . One office member promises one thing but when we call it’s as if we never spoke to them and communication within the office is almost non existent. So far it’s been one month here and already looking forward to the lease ending. Don’t bother paying for reserved parking because as per the main office, if anyone else parks there you have to call a outside security and getting something done can take a couple hours.
Great staff, always very friendly, and willing to help with al my needs! I would highly recommend these apartments.
Don’t recommend to live here . When I vacated my house and the inspected people mentioned that everything looks good but only there is food odor in the house but for that they charge me too much . Maintanance is too bad here also.
They attempt to tow my friends car who lived their at the time. Luckely the tow truck driver and staff walked off a bit, and we were able to free his car from those carjackers
DO NOT LIVE HERE.My first year at the Lodge was great, no issues except obnoxious neighbors. My second year, however, was riddled with a myriad of problems. This summer, I went 9 days without hot water until I filed a report with the city code inspector (a repair man showed up the next day). My boyfriend and I decided to move in together so we asked for a bigger apartment, literally 50 feet from my old apartment, but the process could not have been more painful - none of the leasing agents gave us the same price on things (we were quoted 3 different prices on the pro-rated rent). Our move-in date was pushed back so maintenance could refinish the tubs but only one was refinished, and we still get random calls every now and then saying we owe money on something we supposedly forgot to pay when we moved.Theres only one dumpster in the complex so when it overflows, the valet trash throws the bags on the ground - as you can see in the photos below, the compactor broke back in December and the garbage was allowed to pile up for 2 weeks before anyone did anything about it. The news even ran a story b/c it was so revolting. Our apartment faces the dumpster and it took me a month to get the dirty diaper smell out of my furniture. The office staff doesnt communicate and the office manager is a cold hearted you-know-what: we had an emergency after Christmas and my boyfriend advised the office that we wouldnt be able to pay our full rent until 1/11. We additionally offered to pay the largest portion of the rent with a certified check for $1000 which they accepted, but then returned to us b/c they dont accept partial payments...so why did you? (And btw, does anyone there know anything about business? You NEVER turn away money). Anyway, despite taking the time to explain the situation to them and providing a concrete date of payment, we got an eviction notice taped on our door - classy! -, and today we got a call saying if we didnt pay by 1:00PM, they would process the eviction and we wouldnt have the option to pay anymore. A few minutes later, we get another call from the office manager stating we have 30 mins to pay (this was at 10:00AM) b/c she didnt feel like waiting until 1:00 AND we would be charged an additional $200 to cancel the filing if we didnt pay now. Did I mention the rampant drug use? Our complex smells like Jamaica on 4/20 after 6PM and we regularly find used syringes around the picnic areas. I guess the resource officer is only there to tow cars.We will be moving out in March. Please, PLEASE save yourself the heartache and find a house instead. For what you pay to live here, you can afford a house. However, if you insist, do all of your business with Heather; shes very kind and Im fairly certain shes the only one in the office who can do math.P.S. Below my review, youre going to see a post from the Lodge asking me to call the office manager if/when I have complaints. But when I call, the office manager will be not there, busy or on the other line.
Too many issues to list that I had with this place....but Ill list a few. Had just moved in...maybe a month or so. I had a parking spot that I used regularly within that month. I backed into the spot and parked and headed to my apartment for about an hour before I headed out to run some important errands. Walked out and my car was attached to a tow truck! The staff is sitting there watching, so they are literally steps away from my apartment that they could have done a courtesy knock to let me know the situation. They tell me Im parked in a designated parking spot....the same spot Ive parked for weeks at this point. Now theres a freshly cemented sign in front of the spot for reserved parking. I was never even offered to reserve a spot for myself at that time. Either way, I had to pay $200+ for that. One more relevant issue. I drive up to the entrance and activate my gate FOB...as I always do. Its always in my vehicle and I always activate it when I drive up. One of the apartment staff golf carts is driving through as well. So after i click the FOB, the gate had just started closing then re-opened. As I enter the gate it starts closing again after Im in the threshold of the gate. The gate hits my vehicle and damages it. I report it and they say theyre not at fault. I watched the video....the gate has a sensor that should stop it from closing once a vehicle is blocking it...it malfunctioned. They never took responsibility for the malfunctioning gate...even after I watched it do it several more times afte that with other vehicles. Another $500+ estimate that I couldnt pay. NEVER EVER EVER sign a lease with this place. They try and make it sound like they and you are part of a community. They just want money and dont care about their neighbors. UPDATE: And this is the typical empty response you will receive as a tenant. Go else where and youll never know how bad you could have had it here.
DO NOT CONSIDER LIVING HERE! We’ve had our truck vandalized TWICE in 6 months. They have RIPPED out the tailgate handle/back up camera and took BOTH tail lights! The management are completely unhelpful and “wash their hands” of any liability. There is absolutely NO courtesy officer, they NEVER tow unregistered cars (even though they claim to), and the front gate is continuously damaged and unsecured for close to a month at a time. This apartment complex looks safe and seems housed in good side of town but DON’T BE FOOLED!! Don’t make the same mistake we did!
Lived here for 2 years and loved it! Convenient Location and management is always helpful! The gym is newly renovated and the pool area is so relaxing! The maintenance team is always there to fix anything you need taken care of!
Lived through my first Month and I am very satisfied I want to thank Kristin and the entire staff. For doing such a good job of making the community work
I LOVE LIVING HERE!! I’m actually very shocked at reading some of the comments and the rating low. This is just my own experiences that I can speak on.This is only my second apt in Texas, as I’m not from here, and I love it here. The last apts I was at was horrendous. I don’t mind paying more if it’s a nice place, in a nice neighborhood and worth it. The last place was so ratchet and the staff was rude as well. When I came to look at the apts I came twice as I did not realize in Texas the notice is 60 days and I was about 75 days away from the end of my lease. They still showed me around. I brought over my best friend and his son when i was in my 60 day window and they gladly showed us the complex and 3 units as I was not sure which one I wanted, in terms of square footage. They were so awesome went over what I was eligible for and even gave me info on programs I was entitled to without having to ask. They told me to help me. That was a shocker and a nice surprise. The apts I was living at before held my leasing history for about 3 or 4 days and the staff here kept me informed as they knew I was looking to live here and get the paperwork started. There is no noise issue whatsoever. I’ve never had an issue with my car being vandalized, unlike at my last place where my car was almost stolen. I’ve only needed to call maintenance once. They were here within an hour and fixed the issue in less than 30 minutes. Mind you it only took that long because I called when they were on the lunch break. They deserve to eat in peace and I didn’t need the issue fixed right then and there.Every time I call or stop by everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Lyric is the BEST!!! Most of my interactions have been with her and she has been a sweetheart since the second time I came to tour. Even with the COVID-19 happening they’ve been resourceful, respectful, provided up-to-date info and most importantly, emphatic. It’s truly been a pleasure living here. Next month when I get to my 60 day window I’ll be renewing my lease. My only con is I think the pool is a little too small and the hot tub didn’t seem to work. But I’ve never voiced my opinion on that to them, so can’t hold it against them. Plus, they can’t build a new poop anyway. But line, YOU SHOULD LIVE HERE!!!
Lived here 2 years ago and it was the biggest waste of money!! Dont move here even if they talk you into a good deal I promise youll regret it! They will charge you for damages that you informed them about when you did your walk through. They are crooks and only care about getting your money. For the price and stress you are better off getting a home or renting for less at a better complex. They are not helpful and are disrespectful because they hide behind their contracts or legal team. Its not a surprise that all the ratings seem the same. 2 years and I still tell people the horrible stories we had living here. If you do move in take pictures of everything and keep everything they send you in mail or on door it will help save you money in the end.Parking is a nightmare and you will be towed if you cant find parking in your own gated community. They will let bird poop pile up near resident doors and never clean it up.Worst place Ive ever lived!!
Very nice apartments. Courteous managers. Nice pool. Very convenient at junction of 410 and 151. Stroll over to upscale Hillcountry Hyatt for a drink or brunch.
Weve been in the process of trying to get into an apartment here for almost two weeks. It has been the longest most grueling experience of my life. They didnt tell us right up front how tedious the approval process was and continue to call us everyday with more information that they need. They have us calling all over the place to locate this info and ensure that our old residents is available to speak to them. Taking time out of so many different peoples day. The apartment itself is the ONLY reason we are moving forward and because now weve put up so much money and time that we might as well keep going. I have never had to deal with such difficulties in a system. Aside from the poor customer service from a very specific leasing agent the management was a tiny bit more helpful. Everyday I hope that we can just get our keys and move in without having any more issues but that seems highly unlikely. The assistant manager was the most helpful and apologetic individual weve encountered so far and I hope to only ever have to speak with her. If youre in the process of looking perhaps you may have better luck elsewhere.*update* dont waste your time or money. We ended up still being denied even after two weeks of an insane approval process. No one will give us a specific answer as to why either. We have contacted corporate and are considering legal action against the company with the hell weve been put through. We were told two weeks ago we were completely approved and then someone turned around after money had been spent to say that that wasnt true. THAT HAPPENED TWICE!! Two separate times we were told we were good to go only to be told yet again we were not. The staff is easily the worst Ive ever encountered and I wouldnt want anyone to wast their time. So many other amazing complexes in the area for less money. Youll also encounter much nicer and more helpful staff. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This place has terrible reviews for a reason!
The maintenance and staff is incredible. I had a leak and placed a towel under my sink to absorb the water. After making a repair request, maintenance (within 24 hours) not only fixed the leak but hung the towel in my bathroom to dry.The complex is clean, quiet, spacious and feels like home. Prime Parking can be hassle. Only because tenants are typically home between 5 and 6 pm. However, you can always find parking within 1-2 min walking distance (inside the property) from your home.Overall I am beyond happy with my apartment at The Lodge and plan on staying for a long time.
I have lived here for 7 years! Loved the location. Great manager, very helpful staff. Work orders were always always done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for quite luxury apartment homes.
Parking is Horrible! Front Office is Horrible! Cars are parked here for days that don’t belong leaving residence without parking. Front office is LAZY! I’ve called several times to complain about the valet trash being left outside residence doorways during non pickup days & the front office does nothing about it. They say they will take care of the trash issue or cars that don’t belong but do absolutely nothing to resolve the problem. The front office does not walk the complex to resolve these issues. Management is not doing their job either by allowing rules to be broken & front office to be lazy. Not worth the money spent. Don’t move here.
Ive been here for a year and just renewed my lease!! Ive never had any problems with staff, neighbors or maintenance. The one time I had a maintenance issue it was resolved within the same day or next day. The girls upfront are super friendly and always willingly to help, especially crystal! Overall Ive been completely satisfied with everything here, thank you for such a pleasant experience!!
Awesome office staff. No one bothers my husband and I where we stay at. We have had 4 major maintenance problems and John (one of the maintenance staff) was always there to resolve our situations that very day or the very next day. The only issue we have is the parking. After 5p parking is hard to find unless you pay for a carport OR a garage unit. Other than that, we like our apartment very much.
We have been working with Crystal and we are absolutely delighted to move in. We were approved within the first 72 hours and we cannot wait to move in. The initial apartment we wanted ended up not being our cup of tea so Crystal went above and beyond to make sure we moved into the right one and would be comfortable, she’s also accommodated is to take measurements for our new furniture. I’m really excited and cannot wait for our new apartment.
Love living here, just make sure that you get a car port or a garage before you move in! Parking can be problematic and car ports are never available. Perks: fireworks at Sea World are visible every night from our balcony, there’s a nice pool and a gym, the admin and maintenance staff are friendly and available.
If I could give zero stars to this apartment complex I would. Worst place to live at by far, and this is my fault for not doing my research before moving and signing a lease. So where do I start.... Lets address parking. You will never find parking close enough to your apartment. You will literally have to park on the other side of the complex to find parking. Some cars park outside of the complex because there is not parking ITS ABSURD. Now lets talk about the issues I have had to deal with since moving into these apartments. Problems were noted before I moved in and have yet to be fixed. The plumbing in the building is HORRID!!! Every time you turn on the water, whether it be in the shower or dishwasher, the pumps make a banging noise and its very loud through the wall. Not is it just EMBARRASSING when you have guest over, because I dont know ...you would expect a better quality apartment and living for what you pay there, but you will get no sleep at that. I have had many work orders in and but no success in getting the issue resolved. I have contacted a plumber to tell me what the issue was and now an attorney to see what I can do about this issue. Now the Crew the front office personnel and maintenance are a bunch of incompetents. oh and let me tell you they will go into your apartment without your consent or notice, at random. My Advice, Look elsewhere.
We have an apartment right in front of the pool area, and it is so far going great. I like that we are also close to the office area and the people working there are very helpful and polite. You will leave your trash can or bag outside your door and they will come pick it up.There is very limited parking though since there is no assigned parking, but you wont be walking very far. Rooms are a decent size and restrooms are very nice, but tubs are super slippery. If you do however get an apartment in front of the pool you are garanteed a noisy bunch of people shouting ( mostly children playing or splashing around) every. Once in a while. Overall the place is very nice and is mostly quiet from are experience.
Ive lived here for almost 2 years. I love my apartment itself however the complex has definitely deteriorated in the past year. I get a lot of packages delivered to my apartment but last week one was stolen from my front door. If I wasnt already relocating I would definitely not continue living here. Since Ive lived here the parking has always been an issue but recently everyone has began parking along the fire lanes which is not only a safety hazard but makes it hard to maneuver around the complex after hours. The girls in the leasing office are great! The manager seems lackadaisical though, most likely why the quality of living here is at most decent. This is no longer a luxury apartment complex.
I love the apartment complex, had to be one of my favorites. However do to the management at the apartment complex, the thought of the perfect aparment went away. Management at the Lodge at Westover Hills are unprofessional, and care absolutely about the tenant and any issues that may come up within the unit. They also like do create a lot of hidden fees that you will not be told about til after move out when you do not receive your deposit back. The apartments are great but the management made an awful experience. My advice if you are going to be spending that much go else where that will give you better service.
I really enjoy living here. The staff is very accommodating. Any time I have needed maintenance they have taken care of it the same day. I do recommend getting a carport or a garage though because sometimes parking can be an issue.
This place is a completely ridiculous! We moved out, turned in our keys 2 days early because we couldnt turn it in on our move out date. We were charged for early vacate date, then also charge over $300 for pet fees, which we have no damn pets and they know of this (check your freaking records). We told them about the pet smell and urine stains when moved in and they told us to take care of it ourselves, that we would not be charge. Then when we called to discuss the charges against us, Shelby tells us to call someone else (management support). Why the hell are we discussing the charges against us with someone who was not there for the walk-through? That person is only going to read what the office wrote on the piece of paper and tell us we owe. This has been a nightmare! We have been good tenants, paid our rent on time, followed the complex rules and this is the kind of BS that gets thrown at us.
We lived here for one year. We paid our rent on time, never had complaints and dealt with the horrible parking. We provided our notice to vacate 55 days in advance and were hit with a fee because it was not the full sixty days, okay fine, I accepted that. We were told the apartment was to be remodeled and updated so mantience workers would be in and out to take measurements and such. (I have the notices saved from every time they informed us they would be entering the apartment and why) When I turned in my keys they said we were good to go. Now we received a bill for $1,400 for various charges, including $400 for countertop damage which they are replacing. $550 for stains UNDERNEATH the carpet. The ridiculous list goes on. Ive attempted to dispute this and have not heard back from management. We took really good care of our apartment. My boyfriend and I have never had issues or owed money for damages anywhere. Its so sad that they are attempting to take advantage of us when we were good tenants.
After apartment shopping online I decided to go with this place. I drove across a few states in a uhaul planning to sign a lease and move in right away. Upon arriving something told me to view the apartment before signing the lease. We went in and there was paint splattered all over ther floors and you could tell the walls and baseboards were not cleaned prior to painting. Base boards and cabinets were dirty. Tiles in the bathroom were not clean and mold growing in between. Not move in ready. I was very disappointed that this apartment was considered move in ready. I decided to shop around and found a much nicer place for less. Be cautious if you are looking into moving here. The reviews Ive read are accurate. Should have considered them more initially. I think with better management and care of the property it could be a really nice place to live. The area is nice but as of right now its not working. Hope they read these reviews and make positive changes to the property.
The management here will lie to your face. I had a carpet issue since the day I moved in and it was recorded during the move in inspection. I was told the carpet people will come fix it on Wednesday it is now Friday and still waiting. Still waiting on pest control as well, since I am killing silverfish and have had other nasty bugs too. The apartment was not clean we had to sweep and clean out the cabinets before we put our stuff in. Hmm, wonder where those cleaning fees go that they charge you. But they better remember lawsuits go both ways cause if I cut my foot on one of those many carpet nails sticking up someone is paying the bill and it aint me.
I was very pleased with my living experience at the Lodge. Great property the staff was always friendly and attentive. Definitely deserves a 5 star.
Very bad complex...thieves..i requseted to inspect the apartment before i leave..they didnt...and now they want to get more than may 800$ deposit....the filthy neighbors tossing their trash on front of my door and others...i told the lazy front disk and they didnt do anything....also some people will chain the pool to not allow any body to come while they having a very loudy party....overall it was a very bad experience and i recommend you to not go...
Beautiful complex located in the hilly area of South Austin.
WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!If you do anything smart in your life dont move in here - thats the best decision you will ever make! This place is horrible. The parking is a complete disaster and the management lets people park along the fire lane all the time. Hope there isnt a fire anytime soon! Plus the place is infested with roaches. What a poor example this complex sets for this side of town. Theyre trying to make it nicer but this place just brings it back down.
My walls were damaged by the maintenance people and are now charging me for paint even after placing a work order about it! Also charging me for cleaning even after an employee walked the apartment stating that it was cleaned adequately.
Very few parking spots after 9pm. mail room needs to be fixed. Nice 1 bedroom apartments though and management is helpful.
Be ware-Scammers! No matter what, they will keep your damage deposit and pet deposit AND charge you extra on top of that. We were there for 2 months only and they are trying to keep 600$ worth of deposits (damages&pet) and charging us ON TOP of that to paint the whole place, clean, de-flea etc...when it was left exactly as it was when first rented, only 2 months prior. In few words- DIRTY, STRAY ANIMALS EVERYWHERE, DISGUSTING AND UNSANITARY GARBAGE AREA, SCAMMERS.
Don’t move here unless you’re prepared to be charged +$650 when you move out supposedly just for main living area carpet and paint touch up. We lived there for 2 years and had a dog and paid the $400 pet deposit but supposedly that wasn’t enough to cover? We tried reaching out to management for over a month and never got any response after office staff “left a note on her desk” each time. Instead we were met with emails from upper staff at management support threatening to send us to collections even though no one ever returned our calls. On top of that, complex maintenance is incompentant and we would have to call them to redo their work on EVERY issue we ever called them for (light fixture fell out of ceiling when we moved in, ice machine leaking, dishwasher stopped working, hot water heater started flooding our laundry area a week before our lease was up and instead of fixing this they just turned our hot water off even though we were still living there.)THANK GOD WE ARE IN A HOUSE AND NEVER HAVE TO DEAL WITH APARTMENTS AGAIN.
If I could give this place a zero I would. This place is horrendous. My husband and I moved in last January and by the next week we were already having problems. I had to park on the opposite side of the complex because parking is not available. In April our AC broke down because the last person put duct tape on it and called it fixed. It took them 3 weeks and we had to stay in the hot humid apartment. Our AC broke again in June. Then in November during one of the coldest weeks of the year, our water heater broke and it took them 4 days to fix. Dont ever move in here. They told us we had to give 60 days notice to move out, after we gave notice so now we have to pay two extra months. Hate this place
A friend told me about how this place gives my company discounts. But after seeing the reviews havent changed in 6 years and you guys have sucked forever, theres no way in hell in moving there. So I figured Id give you one star in honor of all those youve screwed over hopefully knocking you down one more notch, in hopes that someday you may strive to earn a better rating on your community. That would require you to change your business model in case you were wondering. Hopefully you see the right path and you give customers what they pay for instead of shoving a contract in their face.
Phenomenal customer service and attention given to potential prospects.
The apartments are nice, very spacious for the price. Agree with all the comments about the staff, they are inconsistent and never have answers. The gates and parking are also TERRIBLE.. if you pay for parking its okay, but people will often just park in your space. Also, the hot tub never worked in the 2 years I lived there..
Its been a great experience so far. Parking is a pain if you dont have a garage or covered parking, weve parked close to the mailboxes when we live on the other side. I WOULDNT trade it for living somewhere that wasnt gated, or somewhere that wasnt peaceful and didnt feel safe. Weve called about our carpet twice and theyve come clean it right away. When we first moved in one of the rooms smelled like pets, we dont have pets and refused to deal with it. We called them, they came over and sent someone the very next day! Set in stains recently started to appear and they came over and sent someone the next day! Needless to say if youve ever rented from another place where maintenance requests werent taken serious, NOT HERE!
HORRIBLE place to live. People above us sound like they are coming through the ceiling. Staff does NOTHING about complaints. People are rude and inconsiderate. Dog crap EVERYWHERE, parking is atrocious, Garbage over flows regularly. I would not recommend living here. UPDATE: Just received their BILL instead of our security deposit. When we moved in, we noted crumbs allover counters, stained carpets, etc. I even cleaned the windows, vent, ceiling fans, tubs, toilets. The place was CLEAN!!!Now that we moved out, they billed US for it!!!! These people are CROOKS!!!! Do NOT LIVE HERE.
My friend just renewed contract here, never had a problem. Maintenance is fast and office staff are very nice.
The office staff is not the brightest. No consistent information, and they all act like its the residents fault when they do something wrong or give yo bad info. There are no doggie bag stations and no strict clean up rules so people just let their animals run around loose and poop anywhere and dont clean it up. The gates are constantly broken. In the year I have lived there they have entered my apartment at least 5 times to do an annual inspection. The apartment itself is fantastic and that is the only reason I renewed my lease. I pay my rent online and try to deal with any issues myself so I dont have to talk to the office staff. The fact that i love the apartment is the only reason I gave it any stars at all.
It’s been a nightmare at this place! You will never find parking. Residents literally park outside in the street.Staff won’t care much after getting you into a contract.Gate is always broken! There is no purpose of paying for a gated community if every person will have access through a broken gate. I even got my car stolen and complained to management about the gate being open at all times and all she said was “it’s just for access”. Ummm then what’s the purpose of paying for a “gated” community if anyone can come in.
I lived at these apartments in 2009 and I see nothing has changed as far as the management. When I first moved in they were very nice, but upon moving out they were very rude and unprofessional. They are also crooks and con artist. Please read your lease to the fullest!!!!!! I gave a 30 day notice to move out (I moved a lot due to being in the military) and then they later on said that I did not give them a notice. When I contacted them about returning my deposit they said that I had not given them notice and they did not have a forwarding address for me, mind you I had a copy of the notice with the forwarding address on my notice to move that was signed by management. They also tried to charge me about $1000 in cleaning fees as well, which is ridiculous because I took pics and videos of the place upon turning in the key!!!! Please be sure to do the same upon leaving this place. I later found out they had went to court and filed a judgement on me because I pulled m credit report for other reasons. First of all, they never notified me of them filing so that I could show up to court and make them look like the crooks they are! Second, I was able to have the made up fees and the judgement removed from my credit report with the evidence I provided.Besides the criminal activity going on with the staff the parking is also ridiculous. I can say that I have never had any issues with maintenance request and the only reason I give it one star is because the apartment was very nice. I only came across the reviews because my lease is almost up at my current apartment and I was looking to move again and was curious if this place has changed, and from what I can see it has not changed at all! Renter BEWARE of these con artist!!!
Terrible parking and they have nothing to say about it other than park on the street where u risk ur car getting broke into. Im sorry but I pay for a gated community when I have asked for manager two times Im always directed away from the manager. Overall nice apartments but never will I renew my lease

The Girls are very nice & just doing their job the way their employers need to have them done. However their management is fraud. You can already tell by the automated response on here.We lived there for about a half a year. Military-deployed, so we had to leave earlier. Let me tell you the price is nice for what you (could) get.You will see your apartment the first time when you get the keys & already paid everything & went through the whole process. When we got ours we were kind of baffled. It wasn’t really clean, look up to the lights the white plastic was yellow, open the cabinets everything dusty & musty. Master Bathroom: Mold on tiles, janitor told us that he would come & remove it with bleach- he never came. Looking inside the air conditioning, it was awfully dusty & green inside, I wondered if that could be mold, because we became sick very often since we moved there, & I had visitors with over saying that this looks very like mold mold & the mold starting to turn black which is one of the most dangerous molds you can get in a house. It seems to me that those apartments are one of the oldest from the area & recently got a touch up new kitchen counter tops(you pay extra) but the slate tiles are breaking apart which is either they are old & used or they have been done by unprofessionals . Also the kitchen cabinets & bathroom cabinets look very old, they just screwed fancy doors on them but I can tell this is all cheaply made. I discovered fleas from the carpet bc first weeks we were getting bites after every night, so I used a flea & roaches fogger in every room, fleas were gone roaches came back . The appliances are outdated the oven light is broke while stove looked like they got it from a junk yard, microwave Is leaking green fluid that if you don’t pay attention drips on your food. Fridge back was the roaches house. I had a lot to clean & sanitize while I lived there, I refused to use our shower bc of the mold & leaking ac drain, open wires. the floors are full of paint bc I guess they need to quick paint everything & don’t use floor covers. Even though we only lived there for such a little time we got charged for paint worth about 200 $, they said the house wasn’t clean -remember I had to clean & sanitize this moldy bathroom . If you wish to live here consider might as well live in one of those hood apartments. The extras like pool & gym & such below average I have never seen anybody clean that pool. This apartment complex doesn’t deserve the word luxury at all.Even if you cover doodoo with gold it is still doodoo. Get a house for the same price honestly safe your money. I will post this on other pages too, nobody that pays on time & never made any problems deserves this kind of service.
Good apartments, gates never work. for the price there are nicer places with better amenities
Apartment will try to charge you for planned renovations after you move out. Weeks before leaving they sent in crews to measure our countertops because of renovations that were to be done. 2 months after moving we receive bill for renovations that were planned by the complex.
I liked everything about the apartment I rented except for the parking. On most days if I got home after 6:00 pm, I would have to park over 150 yards from my apartment.
I am giving this complex 2 stars because the Leasing Agent Crystal was nice. I started the application online, had a few questions regarding any preferred employers discounts/specials and was advised the company I work for is considered a preferred employer. They also had a special for $500 off the first month so I decided to continue my application online. I filled in my information, paid the app & admin fee & waited for the approval. Crystal emailed about 10 minutes later requesting my DL, paystub & proof of insurance, which I sent about 5 minutes later (around noon). I applied for an apt at the Lodge and another complex not too far away as a backup (the admin fee was waived so I only paid the app). I received an email from Crystal around 2pm advising her Manager would be reviewing my application shortly. Around 5pm I received a call from the other complex advising I was approved for the apartment.Since the Lodge didnt close until 6 I figured I would hear something back from them before they closed but I didnt which was okay. I then received a call & email from Crystal around 9am this morning asking me to login to the website & complete the application. Huh? What was your manager reviewing yesterday? I called back & spoke with a Cara (I think thats her name) who told me that all complexes use the same system & she wanted to know the name of the complex that I was approved with. I know all complexes dont use the same systems (I used to be a leasing agent in a past life) thats why some complex can accept people with broken leases and bad credit & others cant. To make a long story a little shorter, I told them to cancel my application & I signed the lease with the other complex. Based off the reviews I think I made a great decision!I work in the area so I know the area is nice, I cant speak about the complex though so no judgment there. Im not a fan of their process. Ive lived in numerous apartment complexes from TX to SC and have never completed a part of the application, sent it for review, then completed the rest of the application.
Never move here. They screwed me over when I had to move out, did not honor the military clause and charged me to do renovations to *their* apartment.. In the contract it says whoever holds the contract at the end of every fifth year is responsible for replacing carpet, new walls and fixtures..On top of that, the water was sometimes brown, the particular apartment I had smelled like wet dog, blood stains on the balcony, and there was burnt cigarette holes in the walls.Repairs take forever to be carried out..Dont move here.
I was able to get to know my wife a whole lot better
The staff is nice and its a quick commute to work.
So far I have been living here for 6 months. I was dumb enough to get one of the apartments near Highway 151... it is loud and makes it hard to sleep. My mistake. I have also had a couple of maintenance issues. First my refrigerator went out, and all the food was ruined. The apartment complex said it wasnt their fault, and that the most they could do is give me $10. The refrigerator went out again a few months later, and again all my groceries were ruined. This time they said they couldnt repair or replace it and that it would take a few days to get a new unit. They suggested that I put my groceries in the apartment office refrigerator until the unit was fixed. When the unit finally was replaced, I went to go get my food and they had thrown it all away. Again, no sympathy from the front desk people. I was basically told tough luck. A couple of other things have happened. The A/C went out one afternoon, and maintenance couldnt get to it that night. I was left in a super hot and humid apartment for 3 days. Again, nothing was offered to make the situation right, not even an apology. There was another reviewer that talked about their neighbor moving out and then having a strong cleaner, solvent smell. The same thing happened to me too! They must use some really strong chemicals when making ready an apartment. I literally had to leave my apartment for a couple of days because the scent was so strong. I really like the apartment and the square footage for the price, but man... either I have terrible luck or they have a lot of maintenance issues. One thing, is parking... in the part of the complex where I live, the parking was ok. Not unreasonably far. Neighbors have been quiet, no complaints there. Just be really careful about renting a unit near the freeway. It is reaaaaally loud and constant, all day long.Update: My motorcycle was stolen from the complex. Also, I moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom unit on the other side of the complex. I now see what others were complaining about regarding parking! The parking is terrible! Seriously if you get home after 6pm, plan on walking from one side of the complex to the other. I have since moved out and I dont miss living here.
In addition to mannequins for leasing agents, this complex is seriously the joke of the neighborhood.Nothing here works! My AC has gone out 4x this summer and my hot water once. Ive only lived here a few months. At the time they were offering $500 off move-ins, and now I can see why.The complex is incredibly outdated, theyve hired Maintenance workers who are hardly qualified to screw in a lightbulb much less fix something that breaks, and swear to God drug dealer just moved in next door. Place reeks like weed, which is fine if youre on UTSA Bulv. and you pay your rent out of your tuition checks, but some of us would like to get away from all that.I hate it here and would suggest you like ok elsewhere.Listen to me. I wish I believed the reviews. I thought bc the reviews were older it has changed.NOPE! They just havent had clients since 2013.
WHAT A DISASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lIf anyone ever wants to live in a place where you have to sleep with bed bugs, and know that you HAVE to walk across buildings JUST to dry your clothes is crazy! I of course learned the HARD WAY! I paid at least 2 thousand dollars for the month by renting a HORRIBLE furnished model apartment. The first model i rented as i stated was a disaster, the vaccum stunk like crap or dirty feet. Bed bugs attacked me and my kids the first night so we they moved us to another unit. The second unit was much nicer but everything was broken. The people upstairs fought all night scared my kids half to death and the front office did NOTHING. The second unit was probably worse the dryer did not work so we had to walk across the apartment complex BACK to the first place JUST to dry clothes. How pathetic is that!! they NEVER called anyone to come and fix the dryer BECAUSE THEY ARE LAAAAAAAAAZY!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally, the cake on the icing was when they STOLE MY TRUCK! Yea, how about that? Gotta love the security at this dump! So i guess they felt sorry for me and fixed the dryer. Would I recommend anyone spending good money on something that will cost you an arm and a leg in the end HELL NO!!!!!!!
I lived here for 2 years and they pulled some pretty disgusting business practices with my wife and I. The final straw was when they cleaned the apartment above us causing our apartment to smell like a nail salon. We had to move out for 3 days into a hotel which they refused to pay because they pretended not to smell it. They finally set up an industrial filter to blow out the toxic air out of the apartment so we could move back in. I should of just taken them to court but I ended moving out and washing my hands of the place. Their staff are dismissive and incompetent, Roger Huerta, being the most incompetent of all. Find another place if you can and steer clear of here.
Great location and good service from front office staff!
Very friendly staff. The apartments look really nice and the amenities provided are top notch!
Nice place, lived at for 2 years. Left cause price went up $200 a month which was insane.
I have had multiple issues with leaks, garage, not having a washer for 6 days, hot water being out for 3 days, and maintenance not being completed in a timely manner. I regret signing a lease with this company. Please do your research on multiple sites so you dont get stuck with an apartment you dislike, like myself. Before you say that I should have done my homework. I know, I should have done more research before signing the lease.
The worst place ever
Nice well manicured grounds good price point
They allow small children in the upstairs units and do not enforce any time of noise control
Quite overpriced for what you get.
They have great staf,wonderful neighborhood
Dont mind this review. I dont know why it showed up
Heather from the front office is great.
Never ever even think of this place.
Incompetent staff, parking was horrendous, and work orders never get fixed. I had no air-conditioning all summer. After 8 weeks I went in to the leasing office to ask if my request was even processed. Long story short, it wasnt . If I could give zero stars I would
Very big
I havent stayed here, but the staff seems friendly.
Zero issues as long as you have a garage.
Beautiful
Parking not available always, first come first park
Awesome staff
