George was our technician he was very professional and knowledgeable at working on LG refrigerators. He made sure everything was in perfect working condition. He was also very friendly and happy to answer any questions I had concerning the refrigerator. He also followed up to make sure appliances was working properly. Thanks A. & E for sending George out to our home.
Rep was very nice but the icemaker still does not work properly.
Jason was very proficient in explaining what the problem was and what we needed to do to not have anymore problems. He also service our washer and is working perfectly. Thanks Jason for an excellent job.
Didnt actually get my washer fixed 650 to repair was way to much bought a different washer. Tech was nice and cleaned out my dryer. He was profession Al and curious. It was 150 to diagnose problem also a little high but I had no choice.
George was a great help in trying to fix my fridge leaking.
Initially I contacted Sears because I have an extended warranty with them. After trying to contact them a few times our system is down, we cant help you I eventually got someone to come out. Sears did not come but rather a subcontractor called Gen Tech showed up. Once they were involved all wentwell. They ordered the part and installed 48 hours after its delivery.
Repaired lawn tractor. Very professional and great personality.
I purchased the appliance warranty for $45 a month. The technician rescheduled 2 times, after the second rescheduled I ask Sears to cancel my appliance warranty because I didn’t like the service. When the technician finally showed up he wanted to charge me $400 to repair the refrigerator, which is basically how much a new refrigerator costs. I told him no and ended up having to pay him $107 for showing up. I called Sears again because they haven’t canceled my warranty and they kept putting me on hold and transferring me from one person to another and they refused to let me cancel the service. I was not expecting this kind of business from an established business such as Sears. I’m having to do a dispute through my bank because Sears wants to rip me off and continue to charge my credit card. SEARS IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF! DO NOT PURCHASE ANY WARRANTY OR SERVICE FROM THEM!
George came in got that stupid refrigerator working nice neat an orderly end of story. I really appreciate that George I was on my wife’s dog house review.
HORRIBLE experience every step of the way. Had an appointment for my dishwasher.-The technician Tom, called to confirm someone was home and healthy and asked us to call him back in a short amount of time.-Eleven minutes later I get a voicemail from a private number which I can only assume was his manager or dispatch asking me to call him to reschedule, but the guy didnt even leave a callback number.-I immediately called the technician back (only fifteen minutes after his initial call) to confirm someone was home and healthy, but he didnt pick up the call so I left him a voice message, which he never replied to.- After much hunting for a phone number I finally reached the service department and confirmed that someone was home, but they told me it was too late and that the appt. was reschedulded because they couldnt reach someone. I told them I tried to confirm but I couldnt reach the tech or the manager that called me and they said there was nothing they could do.- I asked to speak to a manager and I was transferred to a supervisor who gave me the same run-around, was VERY rude to me and refused to reroute the tech back to my address. She kept interrupting me, told me she was the highest ranked person there before contradicting herself a moment later admitting there was a manager there, but saying they were unavailable. She said they would reprimand the tech, but offered nothing by way of correcting the problem they had caused and she eventually hung up on me.- I called back a few hours later to try and speak with a manager and file a complaint, and stated I wanted a callback/followup, but never heard back from them.Nowhere in the text confirmation about the apointment did it ever say anything about them needing to call to confirm someone was home or rescheduling if they were unable to reach someone. All it said was the technician will call you when they are on their way.ALSO, no option to change the contact number, so I couldnt give them the number of the person who was home. I had to take time out of my workday to deal with this BS!Failure at EVERY LEVEL.
Service is nice and friendly. Mostly bar food. The beef tips were a nice adult addition and it was really good. I had that with mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Ill definitely go back for that. My husband loves their wings. My only complaint is that its always freezing cold in there.
I called Sears home appliance repair because the ovens in my Kitchenaid range were not working properly. They sent someone out on 11/23/20 and I was told that the main computer on my range was going out. We paid $845 to order the part needed and they said it would be here on Dec 7th. Then I got an email that the part was delayed and wont be here until February then April. Needless to say my range is still not repaired. I called this week and asked for a refund and still waiting on that!! I will never use this company again and advise people to beware!!
The scheduling system at Sears Home Services is beyond comprehension. It is amazing that there is no type of priority system for repairs to the repairs. Our refrigerator has been broken since 6/30. I called on 7/1 to make a service appointment, and the earliest was 7/8. On 7/8 the repairman called to find out if the fridge had been plugged in for 24 hours. No one had told us to do this, so the service appointment had to be changed and earliest was 7/20! The repairman came on 7/20 and thought he fixed it, but it never cooled. I called the next day to report that, and the earliest repair date is now 8/3! The next appointment was on 8/18, and the technician was here from 1:45 to midnight, and it still did not work. Another appointment on 9/17, and it still does not work. This is absolutely ridiculous because we have been without a fridge for almost 3 months and still counting. There is no way to get an emergency appointment, and it is so frustrating to try to get an appliance fixed. How is someone supposed to live without a fridge while awaiting warranty repairs?
Tim, the technician, located the problem and fixed it in less-than-20-minutes. My 15 year old 9 cubic feet upright freezer is back to being a good old reliable workhorse.
Technician arrived on time. Professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Repairs made rapidly and correctly. Thanks for getting our washing machine up and running again!
The Sears left to buy and order parts for my self-propelled Craftsman lawn mower there are no more Sears in San Antonio I had to drive to Pleasanton and ordering through the internet calling the Sears parting on line was a nightmare. I needed a belt for my lawn mower and got a plate, glass .
Had to wait 14 days for every single new appointment Sears offered me, and my first appointment the technician canceled on me and didn’t bother to call or inform me that the appointment was canceled.later they setup another appointment with another 14 days wait, that’s 28 days without a working refrigerator but it gets better!Customer service has hanged up on me more times than I could count, including the Solutions department. All in all I was stuck with a broken refrigerator for MONTHS allegedly because of a back ordered part. Fortunately someone finally decided to care to investigate the problem and have the part sent to me!So after waiting for months for a back ordered part I had finally gotten the Sears part for my refrigerator. I scheduled another date for the technician to come, I even called a day before to confirm, otherwise they would cancel on me AGAIN without notice. There is constant miscommunication from Sears’ customer service. You have to repeat yourself 3 times just for them to get your information correct. They changed their telephone system. They would cancel appointments without notice, ask for confirmation then deny that I gave confirmation (basically blaming me for their own incompetence), hanged up on me in the middle of a phone call, and ask me to repeat my phone number numerous times. All in all they were the most unprofessional, incompetent company I have ever wasted my time on, while dealing with the summer heat over a simple repair that needed not them months to fix.If you can I recommend staying away from Sears and don’t bother getting any warranty from them. If I can give zero stars that is what Sears truly deserves for their customer “service”.
They couldnt help any. Cant even speak with them over the phone.
The service center is a bunch of liars, they kept transferring me and giving me the run around. They didnt even make my paperwork right they say I have 2 dryers. I have one washer and one dryer with warranty. They have me down for 2 dryers with warranties, why would I get 2 dryers for?!Every time I call them I have to get this straighten out and evey time they tell me its taken care of. Liars! They technicians come out they dont even fix the water thats still leaking on my floor.
Repair was done in a timely manner. Technician was professional. My only concern is that I still have not received a receipt for the work. I corrected my email address with the technician and still no receipt!. My email is [email protected]. Would like a receipt for my records!
The Technician never Show up for the Appointment he never answer the text and calls after all I call the Dispatcher and they told me they have to reschedule . I Dont recommend Sears.
The person who came out on August 10th was polite and efficient. I am still waiting for Sears to contact me. I reached out and waited on the phone for over an hour and now have to call back.My water heater started leaking from the bottom. No repair could be done.
The service was excellent, but the time had to be rescheduled by a week because of over booking. And, they had to go get the part even though we described the problem. But, it was all accomplished in just a couple of hours. And they did and excellent and thorough job.
Three months, several technicians and multiple parts our refrigerator still doesn’t work!! They would come out, google how to fix our whirlpool refrigerator and leave promising the fridge will cool down in a few hours - it never did!! I finally called and asked for my money back! We called a local tech and it was fixed in one day.
Sears representing was very professional and patient while explaining our concerns on keeping our appliances well cared for.
The third party repair specialist was helpful and informative. He explained that the quality of Sears products have declined over the years which has given them a bad name in the industry. I fully concur with his assessment. I will NEVER buy from Sears again and will strongly recommend to my family and friends that they do the same. Hows Ed working out for you?
The service person was great! He let us know when he was coming and fixed the ice maker with ease. I would recommend his work to anyone.
Very professional and fast
The service was excellent. After having repeated visits by another of your technician service companies in June, we assumed our refrigerator was repaired. However, the same problem began occurring again. I requested a service visit again, and a technician from another of your contractors came on Wednesday, September 12.He identified the problem quite quickly and proceeded to repair it. The entire time he has here, he was most professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We could not have received better, quality work.Thank you.
Mike was great! We bought the riding mower from the previous home owners, and it didnt seem to be doing well. Mike got it going again, better than ever and was able to tell us about the quality of the engine. He had some great tips on how to get many more years of service from our second hand mower.
Cant simply call them to ask smoke questions like can you get parts there. Goes to an offshore call center in India? Theyre right down the street.
We have had their service for almost 6 years now and we are generally really happy with it. The technician is always very knowledgeable and the work gets done quickly. The reason I cannot give five stars this time is that the Customer Support Rep. was fighting with me and my wife because she didnt believe our dryer had water hocked up to it. She passed us on to another rep, who further disbelieved. It wasnt until I went into long detail about the Steam function on our dryer that she finally relented and arranged the appointment.Lastly, the technician was not the normal tech that comes and when he fixed the dryer he left the outside covering loose and out of position. This had never happened before so I was a little irritated with it.As a long user of the service I like it and have had great experiences up to this point.
This review applies to this appliance as well as the other six appliances checked. I have had Sears Master Protection Agreement for over 20 years. This particular contractor merely looked at the appliances, took pictures, and said they looked in fine shape. Past inspections have included checking basic functionality of appliance, not just taking pictures. Very disappointed.
Refrigerator (7 year old, $3600 Kenmore/LG) stopped working on a Thursday evening.Day 1: Called Sears repair service Friday morning. They set up an appointment for the following Friday. We therefore had to throw away all our food.Day 8: Repairman (from A&E) ordered the needed part (the compressor), which he replaced on Tuesday morning. Said the refrigerator wouldnt start making ice for 6 hours.Day 9: No ice, barely cool. Called technician and left message. No return call.Day 10: Same as day 9.Day 11: Same as day 9. Called Sears Repairs. First available appointment is one week later (day 22). Eating in restaurants is getting expensive.
We scheduled an appointment between 12:00 - 3:00 pm for the water heater installation. The office called at approximately 2:30 to say they were running late, but they would be wrapping up soon and would pick up the water heater and head on over. They would arrive in an hour to an hour and a half. They arrived at 6:15pm. WELL past the scheduled time, and quite a bit after the revised time. Once they got there, they did a great job draining the old unit, removing it and installing the new water heater. The woman at Sears (Lupe) sold us a pedestal that we didnt need, and earthquake straps, which we also didnt need. From what the installer said, they changed the system at the store, and the button that used to be for flex line now selects earthquake straps.I remember her saying that we were going to need the flex line, but she hit the wrong button. Can you please make sure your sales personnel are up to speed on the new system? That would be great. While the repair crew took a long time to get to our house, they did a great job once they arrived. They cleaned up after themselves, and hauled the old heater away. Good guys, but the communication from the dispatcher was pretty bad.
My wife and I have had a service contract with Sears for a number of years. While service had been excellent up to this point, our most recent service was absolutely the worst. Our 9 year old refrigerator started to give us trouble. The first time I called in the problem, I was guided through resetting the temperature. That seemed to take care of it, but about a month later, the refrigerator simply stopped working. When I called it in, I was told it would take about a week to get a technician out to look at it and was told to simply total up the cost of the food I had to throw out and submit that to Sears. When the tech finally did come out, we were told it needed a compressor and another part and would not be repaired for about another two weeks. My wife did not want to do without a refrigerator for that amount of time so I bought her a new one, putting the Maytag in my garage to await repairs. Needless to say, I will not do business with Sears Home Services or Sears, for that matter, ever again. You have lost a customer.
Jesus arrived right on time for our scheduled appointment. He had called 1/2 hour earlier to confirm his eta. He quickly went to work making the repair while being very careful and paying attention to details while he worked. He explained his procedure and what he thought the outcome would be. Jesus was a delight to visit with while he worked. What a Blessing Jesus was! He quickly and neatly finished replacing the needed parts, tested the gas dryer for correct functions and closed everything back up.I will highly recommend Jesus and Sears Appliance Repair in San Antonio!Thank you Jesus!
Joe L.Guerra from Senior Tech appliance RepairIs the best Tech I have come across very effective. Friendly & fast if I ever call Sears Warranty for a repair I hope they send his company. Thank You again Sears
It took 10 days to repair but could have been done the next day. Had to order a part that took over a week to to get here and it cam from just across town. I will no longer by sears products because of the service. Also I was looking to by a home protection service package but will not even consider sears. Technicians were both great You need to have a product that companies to other appliance service providers.
I was under the belief that central Heat and Air was included in my policy. Why was I charged extra for parts and labor?
My scheduled appointment for a washing machine diagnostic and possible repair was booked on a Saturday, for the 1 to 5pm window, after waiting the entire time frame, I get a call from the service technician stating he was just arriving to his appointment in Boerne and stated it would be an hour before he would get to me in San Antonio, which was totally unrealistic, after an hour passes with no call of ETA, I proceeded to call customer service, although I was compensated for my inconvenience with a discount on the $89.00 service fee, I was told to wait by the phone and to continue waiting as they were going to do everything they could to get a hold of the technician. As soon as I got off the the phone, I received a text message that my appointment was rescheduled for Monday in the same time frame when I am not going to be here. I proceeded to call a manager and the manager i spoke was absolutely worthless in helping me understand how they can just do this sort of thing, completely frustated, I hung upmid conversation. I then started an online chat with a cs rep to have a manager call me and the cs rep said they didnt have the capabilty in chat to contact a manager???? OMG!!So apparently, the reschduled appointment they made without my agreement is still booked as they have called twice to remind me of it. What an absolute joke!!! I am done with SEARS FOREVER!!! THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! BEWARE!
My Kenmore refrigerator is not even three years old. It took hours on the phone with BOTH Sears (mostly being on hold waiting for a human) and with the contractor Sears works with to finally get a new compressor which should have been replaced the first, or at least the second, visit.I am not impressed with this refrigerator OR the way that this was managed. I lost food/drinks THREE times because it took over three and a half weeks to get the problem properly diagnosed and managed. I just hope that this repair will actually take care of the problem. I dont trust the products or the repair management anymore. Lastly, I got NO paperwork or emails about any of the visits:( Im still trying to get something that shows what was finally done.
Wonderful experience. Had parts to fix. Took care of it in a timely manner. Vacuumed lint from inside dryer as a bonus. 😊 Cheaper than buying a new dryer, which I thought Id have to do as its 10 years old. Very nice repairman. Knowledgeable.
The repairman was great. He serviced my dishwasher and gave me advice on maintaining it. The repairmen have been wonderful. I wish I could rate Searss customer service. If so I would give them no stars as I had to continuously call to find out when my services were going to be done. Most of the emails sent to me were after or the day of the services to be done. I was never informed of changes to dates and times of services to be done. I had to call to find these changes out and their reply was Well, what do you want me to do about it. No wonder they are having issues and eventually will be out of business. I have normally always had good service from Sears now I suggest retraining for all employees on customer service and upgrade of computer systems. I wish them luck.
The work was wonderful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was no fault of the technicians. They do not have a dedicated line for the techs to call for parts and approval. They end up on hold 20 minutes at a time for several calls. It really slows them down.
I had to drive from Corpus Christi to get to San Antonio by 1 pm. I waited until 6pm and was going to get food when I received a call that a service man would be there in 15 minutes. So I waited again and Sam introduced himself and looked at the AC. He saw that only hot air was blowing and the filter was clean. He then called someone to ask him what he should do, so he began to clean and steam the AC. I asked him if it needed coolant and he said it did not and that it was fine. It still was not cooling, but he charged me $227.00 dollars any way and said to call again to make another appointment. It has been very hot and the next morning I called to make another service call and Sam answered. He apologized for the inconvenience and connected me with Brenda. She could not get a service man to fix it until 2 more days. I cancelled and bought a new AC at Lowes. I could have used the $227.00 for the new AC. I will not buy at Sears or get warranties there again. Your service used to be impeccable, but now is not to be trusted. Another friend in Houston had the same problem, but with a washer.
Expensive and Embarrassing. Sears Rep showed up, plugged it in, and bam, it worked... Thing stopped working on me for a week, followed every internet/youtube repair suggestion, ...nothing.Kindly man shows up, what seems to be the trouble? plugs it in; thatll be 85 bucks...face...palm...sob.85 dollar education in the universe not being fair, just, or kind.Thank you.
I was very happy with the service provided. Ernie was extremely nice, helpful, and got the job done. My dryer works perfectly thanks to him. I will call Sears again if I ever have any issues with my appliances.
The BEST home repair ever. Sears has been providing this service since I was young so I trust them. The guys came in, assessed the problem, and fixed my dryer. Wonderful! I will always call Sears if I need appliance repair service. Thank you!
Courteous and knowledgeable tech. Eric was professional and thorough. Made several helpful suggestions to obtain more efficiency from the unit. Definitely an above-average service tech. Well request him next time.
DO NOT BUY SEARS/KENMORE ELITE.Took 2 hours on the phone to make the appointment for a refrigerator repair. Could not get an appointment for 3 weeks. After $420 repair charge (for a warranty item), the technician broke something else and the refrigerator (4 years old) still does not work. Another 3 weeks for a new appointment, with an expected additional $400 charge. They clearly make their money from selling inferior merchandise and then overcharging for inferior repairs.
I was very disappointed in the service that we received. They came out pretty quick to check / repair the washer but parts needed to be ordered so we went a week with no washer. The parts came in, they came out a few days later only to realize one part was missing. Went another week until the part came in then scheduled immediately(on hold 30 minutes!) to have somebody come out, no show no call. The second day no call until 3 hours later into the appointment. (Cancelled doctors appt one day and missed work another!)The third day somebody finally came out. Going almost two weeks with no washer was extremely inconvenient. It would have been worth it to just replace the washer instead of repairing it or they should have at least brought us a temporary replacement. The work performed was very satisfactory
Tech said the problem with calcium in our ice is caused by me not having a water softner. I find this hard to believe since i thought that the filter on the refrigerator was suppose to filter our water. I still cant use the ice from ice maker. Dont know where to go from here. dont really want the expense of having a water softner. I think Sears should have informed me of this before i purchased the frigerator
David was very helpful asked questions about laundry machine and was given very good answers And explained answers being asked to my knowledge. Service visit was great, here on time when he told us around what time he be here and also gave us a call to verify appt. Thank u David Service technician ID#865972Thank you.
My husband and I were very pleased with the service and the dryer got repaired. The notification system could have worked better and I did not appreciate the diagnosis fee of $80 and then an hour labor fee of $79, that first hour should be included in the diagnosis fee, especially since the tech was there for less than an hour.
On December 23, 2016 I called Sears to repair my washing machine. They couldnt come repair the machine until December 30, 2016. The repairman was there for about 2 hours when he told us he had to order parts and that he couldnt be there for another 2 weeks to make the repairs. The parts were delivered in a couple of days. I explained to him that with a family of 4 I couldnt be without a machine that long. I called Sears to express my problem and they were not helpful at all. The repairman was shocked that they didnt replace the machine since there was over $750.00 in parts that was needed and labor was going to be over $200 with two men needing to work on it. I had to make a 24 mile round trip twice a week for three weeks to a laundry mat to do all the laundry. They were scheduled to make the repairs on January 13th but called to cancel the appointment and move it back another 4 days. Totally ridiculous!!! These repairs took over 4 hours. I have my machine fixed but its not fixed correctly. It now sounds like I have a 747 taking off in my laundry room. I really dont want to call Sears to repair it because Im sure Ill get the run around. I will never buy another Sears product again. From this point on I will deal with who ever can provided quality service.
I called Sears because I trusted them! Just purchased a $10,000 air conditioner from them. I called to have my refrigerator repaired and they said they could come out that same day which was excellent, but at 3:00 in the afternoon they notified me via email, not text or phone that they would need to reschedule and that I needed to telephone them. I called and they indicated that they could not come out till NEXT SATURDAY, which is ridiculous! I will not call them back! I found a local company where I was able to speak to a real person and not an automated system.
SEARS Appliance Repair is the way to go. It is something my grandparents used, and I continue to use.
We are very pleased with the service we received. The technician appeared to take his job very seriously. He was courteous and friendly. Superb job.
Worst place to work as an In Home Appliance Service Tech. Sears doesnt care about their techs, just like they dont care about their customers. The only reason why I gave them 1 star, is because zero stars is not an option.I am a refugee from Sears. Leaving was the best desicion I made.
, the servicemen was very courteous very friendly. He had a lot of knowledge in doing his work I had several questions for him and he answered all my questions properly. Was very satisfied.
First I was told the reason why the water was backing up was due to lime build up. Although the repairman did flush out enough to allow water to pour through the drain, I had to completely dissolve the filter with Lime Away after he left. Secondly, the soap disposal latch was not working and the repairman replaced the whole part on the door. The cost was $282 which was almost the cost of the Bose dishwasher I purchased at Sears. Charge was mostly for labor as the only part replaced was the soap disposal. Price was outrageous!!
Rudy, was friendly and knowledgeable. He went through a routine check and recognized a noise, he removed the motor base and removed a piece of plastic. solved the problem he didnt need any of the parts previously ordered.
Technician was quick in diagnosing the problem with the filter and was able to repair it in a few minutes.
Technician did great replacing freezer door but didnt fix the problem of the ice maker not working. Plus there must be a short somewhere because inside icemaker light blinks on and off. Only been two months with no ice😠
Cost me $103 to tell me it would be cheaper to buy a new one.
This gentleman has serviced my appliances before. He is thorough and always gives me good advice on how to keep my appliances in tip top shape. I really like his expertise. Thank you
The technician was on time, and after inspection he explained what needed to be done before doing any work. The condensor for the refrigerator wasnt working.
No one called, and no one showed up to do work.
The technician was excellent and friendly and fast. My only complaint is the expense. I do not have an extended warranty, as I have found Kenmore appliances to be so reliable in the past. My washer is only two years old and this repair, which was minor, cost half of what the washer cost!
The service we received was excellent. HOWEVER, the technician showed up an hour and a half outside the service window provided. He called five minutes before the window expired and said he would be about an hour late. He missed that estimate too.Customers try to manage their time by making appointments. We are expected to be on time and available. It is only reasonable that the technicians be on time also. I am very hesitant to call Sears Home Services only because i no longer believe they respect their customers time.
Phenomenal service by this technician!Explained every detail and was absolutely phenomenal! The best Ive seen bar far!
The technician was on time and called before he arrived. He explained the problem and our options one of which we agreed to as our problem would be fixed immediately once he could go and pick up the required part. The repair was done and we were happy. He also told us what the cost would be before we agreed to the repair. All a very painless experience.
We had a very good experience when Lewis, the Sears Home Servicesrepresentative, came to our home for the annual review of our KenmoreFreezer and Kenmore Series 500/ Auto Load Sensing/ High EfficiencyWashing Machine. He checked both appliances thoroughly and evengave us some suggestions on keeping them running smoothly.
Tech didnt fix my oven issue and never took oven apart to examine it. Instead he stated it must be the fuse box. My home is brand new and oven worked perfect for 15 mos then just stopped. Everything else in the house works great. He still charged me $117 to do nothing. Electrician came out and noted the source of the problem is the oven. Not the breaker box. Called to get another appt and Sears stated I would have to pay another diagnostic fee. (For the same issue that the lazy tech didnt fix the first time) Im cancelling my home warranty with them. This company is a joke.
Excellent service representative who came out and did the yearly maintenance on our appliances (oven, washer, dryer, refrigerators, and dishwasher). He was very informative and helpful.
Horrible billing process, double charged for service, almost a month has went by and no refund for double charge, service support personel are over sea’s and language barrier is a problem. Took three weeks calling them to speak to someone here in the states to look into my account. Kept my cool and never got loud or vulgar with them on phone and they still hung up on me multiple times when asked to speak with supervisor. Their service scheduling is long, repairman don’t show up on time, refrigerator still don’t work, repairman came back out a second time to fix the unit and said it was something different and would have to charge a service call again to look at it, repairman believed the compressor might be bad and we would should replace it for $800 and see if that fixes it. Unprofessional, want a repairman with knowledge, not just replacing parts till it works at my cost. Told repairman to leave, hired another company to come look at it after he left. They showed up few hours later, determined it was the controller and unit is working fine. All in all I paid Sears home repair service to guess and slap parts on. Won’t use Sears or shop in Sears for rest of my life if I can help it, hands down one of worst experiences of my life!! Sears can’t go bankrupt fast enough in my opinion.
The technician who provided service with my water softener was very polite and knowledgeable. He inspected the appliance thoroughly and answered all my questions. Thanks
The service man was great. The problem i have with the whole thing is Sears kept rescheduling my service call for 4 months. that is just ridiculous!
The service from the tech was great but my refrigerator worked for about 2 hrs then broke again . I have been contacting sears online ( cause I cant talk ) and nothing done They keep telling me to contact another Dept . I will never buy anything else from Sears again .
To have a tech come out and then diagnose, and leave because I was not sure if I wanted to repair the range or if I wanted to replace the whole thing... Tech left, and I called back to go ahead and schedule the repair. I had to go through the entire process all over again, sending out a tech to diagnose the issue all because I declined work being done that exact day, instead of having the estimate on file for me to call and set up an appointment for my repairs to be completed. Not only was that the issue, they want you to pay before work was even completed. Most of the time work will be completed and then you are billed. Worst experience! The second tech was more than understanding of my frustration as being the Property Manager and trying to take care of my tenants!!!!!
Worst customer service ever! Do not trust Sears. They make appts then cancel them. When you call to discuss cancellation no one cares that you took off work to wait for a repairman. Sad, I thought Sears had a better reputation then this, this is only reason I called them in the first place.
Excellent manner of providing internet access to schedule a service appointment. The wait time is quick and easy to handle your issue. All appointment details are given to you immediately.
The representative that came to my home was very rude. He did not explain to me what he was doing or going to do to fix my TV. I asked questions and he was very short with me. Needless to say my TV was not fixed. I am having to deal with the Sears store I purchased the TV from and who assured me that by paying extra for the insurance, issues with my TV would be covered. At the moment I am incredibly disappointed and dissatisfied with Sears. I have been a customer of Sears for more than 20 years and have practically furnished my home with your products. I would greatly appreciate a phone call to resolve this. I am hopeful that this incident of terrible customer service is an isolated one.
Since Samsung refrigerator was new (6 yrs) had water dripping from ice maker area. Had several service calls and each tech looked at ice maker, replacing whatever part(s) they thought may be culprit. So THIS TIME before I called Sears I emptied the ice maker and turned it off and the unit was still leaking COMING FROM THE WATER DISPENSER!! I told this to the most recent technician and he installed some sort of air bypass gadget that seems to have done the trick. Finally Im happy with Sears service although I had to do the troubleshooting, but at least this time the technician listened to what I had to say. Guess if you wait long enough youll find someone who does listen and can analyze properly.
Both repairs the range and the dryer Sears Repairmen provided excellent service. They were both professional, courteous and answered all my questions. Thank you.
Although we never received a call telling us the serviceman was on his way, he came on time. He wasnt able to fix our problem since parts were no longer available for our refrigerator. He was informative and professional.
Jacobie was probably the most courteous and knowledgeable repair people I have had in my house in my 74 years of life. I would love to have him back anytime we need a repair again.
My husband left work 4 hours early the 1st time a technician came to ensure he would be home when the guy arrived. He showed up and didnt even have the part to fix it (isnt that your job?) So we made another appointment, a different guy came out (again my husband left work 3 hours early this time) said it was fixed - he left, we tried to dry clothes the SAME day and it was NOT working.Scheduled ANOTHER appointment and yep you guessed it, my husband did leave work yet AGAIN to meet the guy at the house. The technician DID NOT show up. Close to the end of the time he was supposed to be there I called the 800 # and the advised of the 2 hour window and ensured he would be there. MULTIPLE appointments later we STILL DONT have a working dryer & my husband missed out hundreds of dollars from work (& paying the service fee)
Technician call in advance to say he was going to be running late. He did show up at specified new time. repaired all damaged parts on tractor and performed all work quickly and efficiently. great job Sears
Carlos is completely professional, knowledgeable, and does a great job in record time! It is good to have the same repairman come out each time.
Everything was good. Tech was polite and on time. I asked a few questions & he was polite and through.
The repair person was prompt and courteous, made repair very quick.I ask repair man to adjust the doors while he was there and he stated he did not believe they could be adjusted.I found allen head screws on top of door I loosened the screws adjusted the door to proper fit and retightened screws. Not happy with time it takes to schedule!
Joe, the technician was very polite and knowledgeable -- he was able to diagnose the problem and fixed it. I was very impressed with him -- he certainly represented your department in a very positive way.
Things went smoothly. Technician was on time and prepared with proper tools. He discovered that the leakage was not from the washer but actually from the water softener discharge line which had a loose fitting.
The time it took to get a part from San Antonio to my house was bad. After waiting for the part it had arrived in a poor condition. The box it was shipped in looked like someone did a two step dance on top of it. The tech scheduled an appointment and saw the condition of the replacement part and said I dont think its going to work. It did not work. The Tech got on the phone and located another one and went to pick it up himself the same day and returned and installed it and it worked. The Tech was very polite and knowledgeable, but the material handlers are terrible. I live within twenty miles of the original issuing vendor and it justtook to long. Management needs to look at why this part failed to be packaged correctly and move forward from there.
Very expensive, but got it done.
The repair man was real knowledgeable and help and answer all our questions.. everything was great...
This continues to be a nightmare. Telephone contact barely speaks English. Had to wait 10+ days for for a part. On the reschedule for the part install when it finally arrived the tech could not get into my Condo complex to install. Apparently they forgot the gate code from the last visit. Might have called me to get the code. Nope - Nothing on my phone indicating a call. Called to complain and try to get them to return ASAP and could not even understand the Help line attendant. 3 Weeks without an oven. Sux - Strongly suggest another service as teh term service doesnt really apply.
Repairman was polite, knowledgeable, making the repair to washer and found potential problem with dryer in a matter of minutes. Very satisfied with service.
