He was working on my neighbor’s house and I stopped him while he was leaving and asked for a card. He offered to take a look at my AC system right then and there. My air conditioning capacitor decided to die last night. It was a cool night so no problem, I sent a message in my facebook neighborhood page as they live in my neighborhood and were highly recommended. I sent that message in the middle of the night and went to bed at 4am! No sense in requesting 24 hour service as advertised as it was ok in the house. I woke up to a reply and contacted. Within a few hours (after completing a current job). The technician came, Zumel. I was thouroughly satisfied as he educated me, explained everything and solved my problem. Then he checked everything else to make sure my A/C was working its best. NO PRESSURE to sell anything else, just showed me the readings on the testing equipemnt and the specs on my unit itself (on the panel). Discussed my unit and what he saw and didnt see. When he asked if I wanted to improve efficiency as he found I was a little low on refrigerant, I JUMPED on the chance to top it off. I said yes, THEN asked the cost and found it was VERY reasonable and I was a couple pounds shy. Well turned out I was low by 3 pounds. Maybe original install never topped off or potentially (and I hope not) could hae a small leak. Not doing leak detection because it was only a function of outside motor not working right because of the capacitor. Not having any inconsistency with cooling or noticing any changes. WELL, let me just say....this house has NEVER been this cool since I moved in on the exact same setting. My A/C is working more efficiently and my costs were very good. I had a nightmare of leaking coils from bad install in another house and I know how ridiculous some places charge. I am very happy to whole-heartedly recommend Max Care and am thankful for Zumel Yero for being so informative and helpful. Respectful for my Covid paranoia as well. Fair and honest business. Will tell everyone I know! Whole Heartedly recommend.

Zumel was amazing! He walked me through his whole process of finding out the issue for our ac. He didn’t just guess and tell us we needed a new motor. He took his time and narrowed it down, until he discovered the issue. He answered all my questions throughout the process. Now when people ask, “do you know of a good ac pertain”, I can say “yes!”

2nd time using this company. First time for a routine summer maintenance and tonight for an emergency call when our a/c went out. Very timely and friendly service! A/C wasnt working and he showed up at 9:30pm to assess. Came back the next morning at 8am for another look and determined the cause of failure. Reasonably priced and good work ethic! Number will be saved for future contact.

I had a great experience with Zumel, he was extremely knowledgeable in any questions I had regarding my a/c problem and also reasonable.

Mr. Herrera came out the day after I called. Showed up with PPE and was even early. He thoroughly explained everything he did. I actually had a ceiling leak, but he was able to eliminate the A/C as the culprit. He did a complete system check and even flushed the drain line and cleaned the coil. I couldnt be happier with MaxCare. I definitely will be calling them for all my future A/C needs!

Awesome company late Saturday night my air conditioner decided to go out . As you know san Antonio weather how hot it gets. I called other companies and wanted to charge me additional fee and high price for the reason it was a weekend and late . So I called Max Care I was amazed of their prices and how professional they work and how fast they were able to fix my ac. Give them thumbs up will be doing business in the future

Great company! We awoke one morning and it was hot in the house. MQy elderly mother does not do so well in the heat, and I was worried because it was a Sunday morning and I was afraid that I was going to have trouble finding someone to come out. I called several other companies with no luck, and some were charging so much that I had to pass them up. Then I came across Max Care Heating & Air Conditioning, great prices and great service. They came and had my air cooling again same morning. I am very satisfied with the service the technition provided, and love that it is a 24/7 company.
