2nd time here. Very happy with my manicure and pedicure services. What their atmosphere is lacking in fancy upgrades they more than make up for in their quality of service. They also have a very stocked bar with a lot of complimentary options including cocktails, wine, beer, water, & sodas. Overall it’s the best salon I’ve found in San Angelo. My first visit I had Vin who gave me a full set quickly but very well and gentle. My second visit I got a pedicure by a different woman. I didn’t get her name but she also did a great job. I’ll definitely be back.

I booked and appointment and still had to wait 30 minutes to be serviced. The nail tech didn’t paint to the edges of my fingernails and messed up the nail polish on my thumb. He also didn’t put enough coats of polish on my toenails and he didn’t remove excess polish that got on my skin. The nail tech was also very aggressive in trimming my boyfriends cuticles he was bleeding a lot.

I have try many times. This nail shop is good.Technical ok, service ok. I happy to review them highest.Most recommend for you.

I love going to Avalon to get my nails done; I normally get the Organic pedicure with shellac and my nails dipped. But my last two experiences with the nail tech was less than great. Every color I talked about getting he either told me no or it was too messy to use. Or he didn’t like the pedicure option I chose and told me to go with a lower priced one due to him not wanting to mess with the gel soak that comes with the Organic pedicure. Needless to say I won’t be having him again. But on the upside Kiwi and the guy to his left (looking at his station) are absolutely amazing and very friendly, they are very meticulous on detail and do what you ask without attitude. Also Kim and her daughter are wonderful; very friendly and amazing at giving a solid massage during your pedicure and very attentive to detail while painting your toes and fingers. Overall I can’t say enough about Avalon, even with those two less than great experiences I had.

My massage appointment with another company got canceled, so I decided to stop in and get a pedicure. I splurged and got the Avalon. It was worth every penny! Most nail places are all about the same, but I will say this place is a step above the rest. It was without a doubt the best pedicure I have ever had.

Visited from out of town and I’m so jealous they don’t have a salon this like in my home town! Really clean and one of the best pedicures I’ve ever gotten, so relaxing. Highly recommend!

Came in for a neutral shellac manicure since we have to keep our nails clean for my work. They have so many different color choices and my nails looks so nice and clean!Loved the environment and the people were super nice and welcoming. Thank you Avalon!

I paid over $100 to gave dip nails and gel toes. They looked great at first so to me it was well worth it! Not even a week and a half later 3 different nail started to peel off.I’ve had my nails done dip PLENTY of times before and I know I can get almost 3 whole weeks with them (that’s why you pay more)I come to the salon thinking that surely they’ll be able to help and they insisted 2 weeks was all it would lastI explained that not only had it not been 2 weeks yet it should have lasted a little longer than that. After making a phone call to the manager they asked what I wanted which was just for them to fix the peeling nailsI am currently waiting right now watching them come and go as I wait and I can tell I will be here awhileVery disappointing, when they have messed up before they always used to fix it but now I guess not

My sister told me that is a very good place for girl. And I have bring my wife there. She totally happy with her nails now.

It’s a Vietnamese chop shop. Over priced and poor quality. Undoubtably the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten and the pedicure was mediocre. They’re only interested in the money not the quality of service provided

I sat in the chair for over an hour with no one working on me yet, I went to get my feet done (no polish, lol, Im a dude). Then they tried to do the next level up from what I asked for which was a 30$ difference. I had to literary argue with the lady saying I didnt want that, and her telling me that I did.

The treatment was fabulous but my pedi and dip were not done to my satisfaction, it was done to theirs.

I’ve always came here for pedicures but this very last time I came I can say I’m not to happy with them. I called before time & scheduled an appointment for two pedicures, when I got here I had to wait for almost an hour to be seated than I specifically said I wanted acrylic on my toes & he completely disregarded what I said & he was to rough with the cuticle clippers. Very dissatisfied.

Dani did an amazing job on my acrylic set! It was exactly what I wanted and he took the time to perfect them. Very friendly, relaxing atmosphere, the best nail salon Ive been to in town! Ill definitely be going back.

My daughter and I went here for 2 new sets. My daughter is young and the guy put on the wrong color. Then the lady doing my nails started putting powder on my nails and I told her I didnt want powder and she said the acrylic only came in color now... we just wanted a 30.00 set for both of us...we walked out just shy of $100.00. My advice to you is make sure you are in agreement with the salon price before you let them touch your nails. Will not be back!

Waited about 30 minutes to be seated for a pedi and mani with my daughter- we both got gel in our feet and hands. They did a full pedicure (but not the one I asked for) then they only painted our nails for our mani- the paint job wasn’t well done and it hasn’t even been a week and the nail polish is already coming off... BTW we paid 125$ 🤭😩 super disappointed and feel robbed

I went to Avalon nails and the did good the first time and one of my nails broke the second day so I went back later and I told them to fix it and they did but they did not do a good job and I was hoping they would and now I am stuck at home trying to fix there mess and I woke up and the are ugly and crusty so I am not planning on going back for a 3rd time

Made appts for 2 pedi and sets. The water was cold. Was asked 3 times if we wanted a beverage and asked each time for a water..after the 3rd time they asked..they brought it. Then took some of the cold pedi water out and mixed it with warm. My pedi person wore a mask on her arm. She yawned the whole time and never spoke a word. The hot towels werent even warm. The second she painted my last toe she pulled me up and told me to go sit under the dryer. The seat sat empty so it wasnt needed immediately. I waited an hour between the pedi and nails. My daughter was done 30 minutes before mine started.None of the nail techs we had or saw had masks on at all and were all crowded shoulder to shoulder around customers getting nails done. No lotion...no cuticle oil..once they were done it was, wash your hands youre done. My daughters were dip powder and might have 2 layers. They are blotchy and white in places. Mine are crooked and not at all what I asked for. I spent 200 dollars. 200 for 2 cold rude pedis and 2 not up to par sets. Never again. While I appreciate the offer to fix the nails and apology for the wait, I would have had no issue waiting if I felt we in anyway got the services we paid for or felt appreciated as paying customers at all.

I went to this nail salon twice. The first time Jasmine did my nails and they looked good but two day later my acrylic nails lifted and came off then I went back and they apologized and redid my nails and I paid full price. The second time my nails only lasted a week and two lifted half way off my nail and not to mention they did an absolute horrible job doing black ombré. Don’t go here. Kim Lee’s and Oscar nail salon are so much better. No I will not go back as I have twice already. I got services elsewhere.

Do not! I repeat do not get a wax from this place! I have nicks from dull scissors to my most private and sensitive areas, skin is missing from to many wax removals at a time, and the wax is not sanitary! The lady used the same stick the whole time! So who ever goes next beware that same wax was double dipped to wax a full Union waxing!

I went in for my prom nails and the nail tech ripped part of my real nail off and just put nail glue over it while it was bleeding.

Will never get another pedicure here again. The lady I got was very aggressive with the cuticle clippers. She kept pulling and trimming excessively until both my big toes bled. I’ve never gotten such a rough pedicure before and my big toe is still red/tender/swollen a week later! The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because Kadie did a phenomenal job on my ombré coffin nails. They were perfect!

I went in without an appointment a day or two ago.they sat me down as soon as I walked in, and did exactly what I asked for, I have no complaints other than one of my thumb nails is starting to lift already but other than that Im very pleased

Walked in and was promptly greeted and escorted to a pedicure station. Salon is beautiful and clean. My nail technician was excellent! They even offer complimentary mimosas and lollipops!

This was not a good experience. They nail tech didnt put a base coat on my nails and now they are stained. A little annoyed.

Came here on a whim and now its my favorite nail spot!! Jerry did a little nail art for me that turned out perfect, the pedicure was thorough and neat, and the salon has a nice vibe.

The nail tech made me bleed in three different spots with the drill. She also laid the acrylic over my cuticle so not only does it look weird but most of my cuticles are irritated. She was also super rough with the file and left if you imperfections On the sides of my acrylic nails No that’s fine I already took them off

They lady hurt my feet, made 2 of my nails crooked! Never have I experienced a bad pedi. I was so excited about this place just to be unpleased. Plus the paint job was terrible. Wouldn’t ever recommend this place and don’t wanna go back.

Very disappointed with my service. The lady who did my nails would not listen to what I wanted. When she finally did she said she couldnt do it. Even when Ive had them done that way before. She tried to tell me what they did in my picture when I was telling her what they did. Just didnt listen to anything I was saying. My husband had a pedi and the lady kept leaving. The water wasnt even hot. Very dissatisfied and will not be going back. No customer service at all.

Understaffed, so very slow. I was there for 45 minutes before moving to a chair. There were at least 6 chairs open. My guy didnt speak English, so that made it difficult to communicate with him. Therefore, a few things were ignored because I could talk to him. Being there for a total of 2 1/2 without even getting a quick, simple manicure really bothered me. I will give them a second chance because the salon is nice and the employees were as well. I just hope theyre not so under staffed. A free bottle of lotion can only mend the bruises so many times.

This salon really has it together and it shows because the ladies fill it! Team is polite and organized. Ive had several pedicures from Daniel and leave happy every time 😁 highly recommend. They also offer complimentary drinks.

I went there on a thursday this place is always busy good location.. Even tho they were busy they remained calm and serviced EVERY CUSTOMER❤❤

I called at 4:15 to make an appointment for 6 pm for a full set. I show up and this place is packed. A lady walks in after me wanting 3 pedis 1 mani & 1 full set. This entire group gets serviced before me while I sit for an hour with a face mask on waiting only to be told the tech who would do my nails had to go home because they weren’t feeling well. All the while all these other ladies getting full sets. Beyond rude and I will never go back.

I went to Avalon for the first time yesterday, recommended by a friend, for a basic pedicure, and Stacy was super! The atmosphere was pleasant, she also, and my feet are beautiful. I was impressed with the cleanliness, especially with the plastic liner placed immediately in the basin before water was drawn. Thank you Avalon, I will certainly be back!!

I’ve only gone a couple of times and this time it was the worst nail experience. The workers were rude, and my nails turned out ugly. They don’t look like what I asked for, the color isn’t even close to what I wanted, they’re dented, and the shape is all messed up. When I asked if they could redo them, they got mad. Also when I checked online for prices it said way cheaper than what it actually was. If I could give the nail salon zero stars I would!

This place is the best!

Lee did my nails today in acrylic white and pink(simple I know). Made them look natural and clean. His file shaping is on point, left a good apex for the nails sturdiness. Not too thin or thick of nails. Ive been to a few places in town and they have been the only salon Ive had/want to come back to. Nice staff and they try their best to give great service even to thoughs who are being difficult. They also do great and unique designs with their nails(they do nails similar to the designs you see on social media(fancy cool designs)) I think one of the techs who specialize in the designs is Sony so you may need to call ahead for an appointment with him or techs like him. KIWI Is also another great tech and super chill, he is talkative and will hold conversations if you want a more interactive experience than sitting there quiet.

I love Avalon nails! They are all so professional and talented! Definetly on top of the latest trends as well! I have never had to wait when I walk in, quick and relaxing! The Avalon pedicure is my favorite!

I went there yesterday with my mom and my sister, and they did so good!! we walked in and we immediately sat down and they got to work!

I just left from getting my nails done and they did a terrible job. I asked for coffin shape and they’re just long square shaped. When I pointed it out to Bryant, he brushed me off and said he would get to it later, but never did. None of my nails are the same length. He also did not use the color I asked for, nor did he pay any attention to my overgrown cuticles.Would not recommend going here, or if you do, be sure not to let Bryant do your nails.
