Beautiful place to get great jewelry

I went unnoticed when shopping for an engagement ring here. I made it all the way to the top floor before finally asking for help to see some rings. Once I got help it was great, but I had to ask for help and it seemed like I wasnt taken seriously. I think the selection here is great, and the jewelry seemed to be scattered over many categories; however my experience as a serious customer was not what I expected from this caliber of store.

I had an amazing experience purchasing a custom engagement ring at OC Tanner. They had a beautiful selection of settings and diamonds. The representative I worked with, Kristen, was so supportive and knowledgeable throughout the process. I really appreciated her timely updates on the status of the ring and her helpfulness in answering questions. The design that they created for us exceeded all of my expectations (and I had quite a few). On top of that, going to the store was always enjoyable. I felt like I was getting a luxury experience at a more than reasonable price for the care and quality received.

The only place in the valley that services Omega watches. Needed a link to lengthen the bracelet for my Speedmaster. Nathan (the watch guru) ordered the link for me with only a phone call. Link arrived quickly and Nathan installed it and sized the watch for me without any additional cost. Top notch.

My boyfriend brought me here to check out all the bracelets, earrings, rings, and necklaces. This store is phenomenal. Hands down. Wife paid cash for a watch that I ended up returning for another watch - the process was simple until it came to OC Tanners accounting department and specifically Suzette. She was the rudest person I have ever talked with at OC Tanner. She actually laughed at me when I was frustrated with the lack of attention with my refund. She clearly does not care about the customer and because of her rude actions, I will never shop at OC Tanner again. I only hope I will actually see my refund without the help of a attorney - she made it clear there is no care for the customer!

A great place. I had walked over to the store and there was a sign on the door Closed for Inventory. Turning to walk away the door unlocked behind me and I was asked what I needed. Only needing a battery for a watch I started to leave and they let me in and took care of me. GREAT experience. I look forward to doing business there going forward. So courteous, and it sure seems to be missing these days.

This building is beautiful inside and out. The inside is very artistic including a circular stairway. The jewelry was awesome and the sales people were friendly & helpful.

Just moved to Salt Lake City and visited both OC Tanner and their Rolex Boutique. The stores carry one of the widest selections of Patek Philippe, Rolex and Omega I have ever seen in person. I found Bruno to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable and he helped me purchase an incredible timepiece. I came in a week later and got a chance to meet with their watch maker to research purchasing a new 1171/633 bracelet for my Speedmaster. Im excited to continue building my watch collection with OC Tanner Jewelers and I highly recommend the store and the experience.

I usually never write google reviews but today I had an experience that must be shared. I am a teenager, 17, who is more interested in the high end luxury fashion world then you would expect most teens to be. I was visiting Salt lake city today and decided to stop in at the O.C Tanner jewelry store. The minute I walked in with my girlfriend, we both were promptly asked if we would like any water or tea and asked if we needed any help. The staff was incredible nice and very professional. Being only 17 you would expect to be treated with very little interest by any staff member considering even the cheapest item in the store was far out of my price range, this was not the case. I was approached by at least one staff member on every floor of the beautiful building. They approached and treated me and my girlfriend as if we had a million dollars in the bank. An absolutely incredible experience. When I am successful from various current ventures, I will be back at O.C Tanners ready to do business.

I purchased a Breitling Mission Emergency watch from another jeweler this week. I was having difficulty setting the time. I am very disappointed in the quality of service we recieved from this so called high end store.We had very high expectations when we first decided to go to O.C. Tanner to get a custom ring made for my wifes Valentines Day present. These expectations were quickly ruined the very second we walked through the door.Unless you look like you have LOTS of money, you wont even be greeted by their extremely unfriendly staff. If fact, youll be completely ignored. However, we needed a rough stone cut and they were one of the few companies that had someone to send the stone to so we decided to see what they could do for us.One week later, we called in to see the progress only to find out they Forgot to send the stone to their jeweler and had no idea where the stone even was.We finally got a hold of who was supposed to ship the stone, and to cover for her own mistake she decided to lie and say that the stone wasnt gem quality when in truth she never even got that fact from anyone. This was the front-desk receptionist and not someone with the qualifications to even make that decision.We will never walk through those doors ever again. Very stuck up staff that will not pay any attention to anyone unless you look rich. We were ignored, lied to, and they wasted our time.

After spending $30k on rolex three years ago, I put my name on a waiting list for an other Rolex now its been almost two years that I’m “waiting “ every time I ask them To see where am I on the list or how long more it will take me to get the watch ? I don’t get a straight answer from them finally I reached out to the the v.p. Of the company to see if I would get an honest answer she pretty much told me a lie she said that they are not receiving the particular watch from Rolex! So I decided to contact Rolex I was told by them that o. C Tanner received more than 30 of those whatches that I’m waiting for ! So it’s very obvious that they are selling these whatches in the black market for more profits if you’re on a “waiting list” don’t hold your breath you’re not getting it . I find this company being very dishonest ...

Poor appraiser. Extremely unthorough. Gave a 350% margin of difference for appraisal price and did no research. When completed she told me I may want to send it into Blancpain for a better appraisal and they still charged me. She asked me no questions so I assumed she knew what she was doing.

Once I was in to just look around, beautiful building, and the shop is nicely designed.

I went in to inquire about some custom alterations to a ring that has been in the family for over a century. I asked if it would be possible to be with the ring while they looked at it to give me an estimate. The person who was helping me said no, and when I asked why, her response was riddled with teenage girl attitude (even though she was an older lady) and condescension. After that it was almost as if she wanted me to just get out. They stated that my thinking was old fashioned and while I stayed as polite as possible, it was clear that my money wasnt good enough for them to merit any accommodations for my particular circumstance.I had just previously stopped in at another jeweler who was more than willing to accommodate my needs for this ring. He suggested that I shop around before making any big decisions and suggested I check out O.C. Tanner. Now I know why he had no problem suggesting this place; he knew I would be back.Overall I left with O.C. Tanner with a horrible taste in my mouth and I will never go back there.
