I had a great experience there. I have sensitive gums and so cleanings typically hurt. However, theresa, the hygienist, gave me a topical numbing solution and numbed up a few of the more sensitive areas. She was also very responsive and careful if i indicated any discomfort. It made the process much more pleasant. She was also very helpful in pointing out tips for brushing and keeping certain areas clean in the future. Overall, it was awesome.Dr. Gleave also replaced two crowns that needed to be fixed. They look much much better than the previous ones. He had me go to the lab to ensure they got the perfect shade to match the crowns to my other teeth. Overall, he seems to be very good at handling cosmetic issues.Its a great place. I recommend it to anyone who needs regular cleaning and/or cosmetic work.

While awaiting a root canal (broken tooth) next month at another clinic, my first course of antibiotics wasn’t enough to keep me pain free until my appointment. I awoke a few days ago to extreme pain - again. I’m run down and there is noticeable swelling and heat near my jaw under the affected tooth/teeth. I did a search and found an urgent dental care clinic near my location - I feel like I hit the jackpot.Every single person I interacted with at this practice was super compassionate and caring. I was blown away with how quickly they were able to see me, even though I walked in. They listened to my fears and were compassionate about my anxieties. While just traveling through the area, I was treated as an established patient. I wish I lived closer and could visit them more frequently. I highly recommend, particularly if you dental fears/anxieties.Thank you for helping me today!

I needed some old (20+ years) anterior incisor crowns redone and presented a rather complex case due to my incorrect bite. Dr. Gleave took a lot of time and consideration with me and recommended we do a complete corrective smile makeover comprised of 14 crowns. He was very methodical and patient with my questions, which came as a great relief given the scope of the work and financial investment. I couldn’t be happier with the end result and quality of care I received. Dr. Gleave is an artist and he and his staff are wonderful to work with. I’m happy to say, I’ll be a patient for life. My husband had tooth pain all Sunday and didn’t sleep all night. Our regular dentist scheduled him for Monday at 3 and when we arrived at the office she canceled his appointment saying she did not have time and to come back next week (will not be returning to that office). I called the office and they got my husband in within 5 minutes all the staff was super nice. I cannot be more thankful to Dr. Rod Gleave and his staff. Safe to say he has two new patients. WOW ! I went in today for a free consultation and walked out with work I was hoping for done! I am so beyond happy with the results and the fair price. I was not content with my uneven front teeth, that also had a few small chips in them. Dr. Rod went through the solutions and gave his recommendations. We decided bonding would be the best option and he gave me the price per tooth. I was surprised with the price, it was very reasonable. I was in and out within an hour with reshaped teeth that have given me a new level of confidence and reason to smile ! 10/10 WILL recommend to a friend.

I hadnt been to the dentist in years, but I had a tooth that was causing me quite a bit of discomfort. I thought I had seen Dr. Rod Gleave before, but it was actually his brother Rodney that I had seen. Anyway, while I was pleased that they got me in on a Saturday, and while I will say that the office staff was very pleasant, I am extremely unhappy with what happened. Dr. Gleave looked at my teeth and even took x-rays. He said the bad tooth was one that had a cap on it and I would need a root canal. Oh joy! After two visits to complete the root canal process and after having to spend $600 out of my own pocket to pay for what my insurance didnt cover, my tooth is still killing me. Dr. Gleave said that I shouldnt feel any pain in the tooth that had the root canal, so Dr. Gleave basically did a root canal on a tooth that didnt need it, and he wouldnt even acknowledge it!

This is the best office in Salt Lake City They bend over backwards to accommodate you. Very gentle and courteous. Very efficient. They removed a molar and a wisdom tooth same day I called for the appointment. Very affordable even without insurance .

Dr. Gleave is awesome! Him and his staff were very impressive when I came to them for an emergency root canal last Sunday. Price was very reasonable for needing the staff to take call at 8am on the weekend. I was in extreme pain and they were very quick to get me in the seat and numbed up. Ive had dentists in the past make me wait 20 min in the lobby and 10 in the chair before they even entered my room, let alone another 10 before they even stuck a needle in me. This attentiveness to my comfort is what will bring me back to them. I also wanted to mention that I had some work done about a year and a half ago while in California that went bad. I spent thousands of dollars on this tooth just to have the first dentist I saw since returning to Utah tell me sorry, your just gonna need to redo the work. Well Dr. Gleave managed to save and restore the work that had failed which saved me money but Im sure made him less. Its very hard to find a dentist that is truly looking out for your health and your pocketbook. I think I may have found that diamond in the rough.

I came to this location because they were on a online list of doctors I found that were affordable. I came here because they actually charged less for a crown than my regular dentist (young family dental). Also, at young family they told me I had maxed out my insurance deductible but Dr. Gleave found out I didnt! They saved me like 600 bucks! Dr. Gleave was awesome as well, very professional and friendly. He will listen to you and give you options! My other dentist had a poor bedside manner, but nor Dr. Gleave. I highly reccomend this place.

Best service I ever had dont like if u dont like pain go here

This place is great! I’ve had a toothache since Sunday & when I went to my primary dentist he said I needed a root canal & the soonest he was able to get me in for that was August 6th. He gave me antibiotics and told me to rotate between Tylenol and ibuprofen for the pain. Well the pain got worse and when I called my dentist back they were going to be out of the office until mid next week, referred me to another dentist and they were out a week so I googled the nearest dentist to me who would take a same day emergency. Not even 5 minutes after my web submission they called me said to get there ASAP and got me in and taken care of! I highly highly recommend this office. The dentist was great & so was his entire staff. Not only did they help with one tooth but ended up helping with two on top of their other appointments! I might just be switching dentists! Don’t hesitate to call. Boy am I Grateful for everyone at Rod Gleave DMD!

When one of my teeth broke and started hurting so bad I thought I was going to die dr gleave was so kind, quick, and efficient. There aren’t many dentists who are even open on a Friday night let alone get you right in. He immediately numbed my tooth and did a root canal, making sure to list every option I had and helping me make an informed decision. He saved my weekend and my sanity.

So amazing. I have always hated the dentist. I have a fear since bad experiences as a kid. Dr gleave and his nurse were awesome. I went in with severe tooth pain. It was my first time at this office. From the moment I walked in the door until the end I felt cared for and was treated with kindness. Penni the clerk was so friendly and sweet. Dr greave nurse was auper nice and always making sure I was comfortable. Dr Greave was fast and made sure I knew what he was doing. Afterwards he even let me know that instead of white knuckles through my visit they could help calm me down before. He wanted to make sure my visit was pleasant so that I came back to finish work but also so I didnt leave hating the experience. And when it came to billing they are willing to work with me. I recommend this office toanyone. I will be bringing my whole family there now. Thank you so much for the experience.

Dr. Gleave is a master when it comes to creating a smile for anybody that makes them feel comfortable and confident with their teeth. He is very kind and professional. He does not recommend unnecessary/excessive procedures which allows me to trust his expertise even more. Staff is very nice& helpful. I had an appointment the day before (Saturday) and had nothing done, my toothache ws soo bad I needed it fixed ASAP. I found Dr Gleave online and thought I wouldn’t be able to see him until the New Year. I requested assistance on the web page and within an hour someone had called me and set me up w/ a 11AM appointment the next morning (Sunday). I ws soo excited to get rid of the pain. The appointment ws simple and straight forward. He gave me two options and I opted for a root canal. He went in and made sure to get rid of the pain temporarily. I am honestly soo happy that it ws quick and efficient. I sit here happy w/ no pain I cn nap w/o having to take a bunch of painkillers to help me sleep well. Thank you Penni for making the start process easy/breezy, thank you Dr Gleave for fixing my problem. Definitely will recommend him 100%.

I had a dead tooth that was killing me on Saturday night. I sent a message and they responded quickly. I was in their office the next day and I was in and out within an hour to pull my tooth out.

Emailed after hours and got an immediate call back. Had several options to choose from in when they could see me and the cost. Decided to wait for the next morning but Im super glad that I got expert help right away. Ended up as a complicated root canal, but Dr. Gleave did and excellent job. Numbed me up well, communicated with me through the whole process, he took the time it needed to be done right. Will go back again.
