I called Enterprise Wednesday to inquire about a rental to Pennsylvania and back for a funeral. I had specific questions due to some extenuating circumstances. Then today when I called to book the rental I was told the opposite of the answers from Wednesday and that I could not book the rental. I called every other major chain rental they assured me they could rent me a vehicle due to my circumstances however none of them had a vehicle available for rental today except for a location in Greensboro for an SUV out of my price range. I needed a vehicle today. One chain had a vehicle for tomorrow morning at the airport in Charlotte. After 2 hours of calling around I finally found a small local independent business in Salisbury also willing to rent to me that had vehicles in stock. I dont know whether Enterprise lied to me on my first phone call or on the second. However I do know that they lied about their policies especially since every single other car rental agency was willing to rent to me !with my circumstances except for enterprise. I will never rent from this company again unless it is absolutely required by my insurance due to accident. Even still I will not use this location due to being lied to by employees. Everybody please shop around. I recommend independently owned businesses here in Salisbury or in Greensboro or even any of the other chains. At least they dont lie to you
We recently rented a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Salisbury, NC for a 2 week road trip through the whole state of Florida. We have rented from this same location on several different occasions whenever we take road trips to keep the miles off our personal vehicles. The cars are always new models, clean, priced fairly and weve even received free upgrades for luxury cars for no extra cost. The staff at this location is always courteous and professional and the service is always fast. Get there, give reservation number, get the car and gone!! Quick and simple. We will always rent from this location for our future road trips. Thanks Enterprise, this is a great addition to our small town.
This Enterprise rental in Salisbury NC is the best. I have been dealing with Matt and his team for a long time. When u go in there, u feel so welcomed and if they don’t have the car u requested, they will upgrade u to a higher end car or suv, whatever u request to make their clients happy. I do recommend this Enterprise to anyone that likes great skills, great customer service and quickness when u arrive.
I stopped in to get a quote for a possible rental. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. They took the time to listen to me and provided me with several options that cost different amounts which I could choose from. I appreciated this as my budget is tight.

I took a weekend girls trip and rented a car to be safe, this Team was amazing! I was running late for pick up and they ensured me not to stress over it. When I arrived they were Covid safe atmosphere and treating me with such respect. They went on to tell me they have an array of cars on hand and would love to upgrade me for the weekend. I use enterprise 6 to 8 times a year i always get the car truck or van i need for the occasion, they have the best rental prices around great service and reliable cars.
Poor customer service. Fat dude was extremely rude and unprofessional. He seems to have anger issues to. His boss above him also very unprofessional. Rather than deescalating the situation his employee caused he seemed to instead instigate it further. Love enterprise but this Salisbury location is a joke.

I made a reservation on line and called the office to be sure that I would be getting the car I rented and Mathew was extremely helpful and he put a note on the reservation requesting the car and a few days later we had the car on the due date. Great service and like always every time we rent a car at Enterprise we gave a great experience.
Very friendly and helpful. Only issue we has was that the vehicle smelled like weed. We had no time to deal with trying to get another vehicle. We had to buy multiple air fresheners to try to cover the smell but nothing helped. Thank God we didnt get pulled over. They apologized saying that even though they charge people for smoking in the vehicles people just dont care.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They put a $300 hold on your card until the car is returned. Well the car was returned to the Eatontown, NJ location on February 19th. I called and asked for the paperwork stating that the car had been returned, they said they would email me. I had to call two more times in order to get the paperwork emailed to me. Then from the Salisbury location I received only $75 of $300 from the hold on my card back. They have yet to return my money. I was told by a representative online that a regional manager would contact me and still has yet to. I asked them for the transaction paperwork stating that my money was returned to me and they said that they could only give me a copy of the rental agreement, and that they would have a regional manager contact me. The car was returned on February 19th, it is now March 24 and I still don’t have my $225 back. This is downright unprofessional and theft. Don’t wasn’t your time or your money on this company because they OBVIOUSLY don’t give you your money back.

I frequently rent a car from this business for my job. I have been really impressed with how Enterprise has taken precautions with social distancing and keeping all vehicles clean and sanitized. When I arrive at the building, they have an outdoor kiosk and tent set up with chairs that are spaced away from each other. All employees are wearing masks. They even wear the mask inside the car when it is brought around for you. They have definitely taken the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe during this pandemic. I feel confidently safe getting a vehicle from Enterprise.
This is a well-run business. Very accommodating efficient staff; very friendly. The car I leased was clean, relatively new, and had a full tank of gas. I was in and out in no time. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

Got excellent service here! The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is their customer service line! I had received a red light ticket while visiting my family and told them that I am willing to pay it, but that I had recently contracted the Covid virus and wouldn’t have the funds until my quarantine was up( roughly around 15 days.) I told her that I was willingly to pay and had documentation if needed stating I was sick. She continued to telling me how I didn’t want to pay the bill and that they will going to charge me anyways! I had used my savings for bills because my work wasn’t paying me and explained how there was nothing in my account. I was going to overdraft! She then asked if I wanted to pay the bill again and I explain my situation yet again... after this she just put me on hold for 10+ mins which I just hung up. Disappointing that Enterprise doesn’t have the people’s back or a policy during a global pandemic!
We usually receive great service with Enterprise?But this time after we have used Enterprise a total of 5-6 times over the last few years. We were told originally that we pay the down payment like we always have, then on return we pay the balance. But this time as we were told that first, then at the very end told differently? That we must pay the whole balance and the down payment for a total of over 600. We were declined. Which we knew that we didnt have that much money in that account anyway and would have been happy to up it if we would have known that this has changed?Sadly on our 22 wedding anniversary we were going to rent a Nice Clean New Cadillac for our date out to eat tonight and turn it in on Monday after we drove it to church.Lastly we Love Enterprise and have always chosen them first even when we were in Orlando Florida last June, and had a flight cancelled for our return flight.They are not the cheapest but we usually have a great experience? But not this time.Anyone use other rental car companies? Please let me know if you are satisfied with someone else? Had a reservation was supposed to be picked up at 10.00am received a call at 9.30am to find out they had no vehicle for me was told to sit tight till they got me a vehicle. After 6 hours and several calls to Enterprise I was hung up on sent to a store 60 miles away and told that it was my promblem to solve hpw i would get there told that vehicles were coming from Airport that never showed i finally get a vehicle that is smaller than what i had requested but we made it work .when i got to the Rental car lot there were vehicles setting every where .And I can promise you i herd every excuse in the world except we screwed up and we are sorry.l feel like they should have or should give me a DISCOUNT on my next rental.

They picked me up at my car dealership and I filled out some paper work. I had the keys to a 2020 Jeep in 15 minutes. It was a breeze. The people were so nice. Rob showed me everything in the Jeep on how it worked. I would definately go back to them, if I need to rent a car. It really isnt that expensive a day. Bring it back like how you left in it. I thank them for all they did for me.

Not sure what happened in this store. I was witness to disrespectful behavior by a man who said he was a manager. He acted angry toward each customer and I was taken aback by how he made the issues personal. He argued with a small woman. He told stories of bad customers to another customer. He expressed his disdain for all customers as overall bad people. Each time he walked a customer outside he returned to say negative things about them, and much of his ranting just seemed personal to relieve how much he hated his job or just hated people in general. Perhaps he has anger issues, but customer service is not the place to lose control on people. Even if a customer does something wrong this is not an excuse to rant about how bad people are to customers. I watched everyone look at each other wondering what was going on here. When I overheard him threatening one man over an issue that the man seemed to be trying to discuss rationally I decided it was probably time to exit and go rent somewhere else. What happened here?

Had to get a rental vehicle because someone hit us. They say on their website that they are clean and protecting us from COVID. This vehicle was nasty and reeked of cigarette smoke. The interior and exterior was nasty. You did nothing to make me or my family feel safe. Car was rented from Salisbury Bendix Drive location.
Even while practicing social distance . Doing business with Enterprise Car Rental, is/was very smooth . The sales rep not only made sure my needs were met . The young lady also made sure the car rental was sanitized . That is a plus in my book . Thank You Enterprise !!!
This car rental agency has set the standard of excellence so far above the rest that being amazed by the quality of professionalism, courteousness, and personal attention has actually become the norm for absolutely every experience I have had with the employees since I first moved here 2 years ago. I have rented vehicles all across the US and outside the country for 20 years and so personally witnessed the degradation of customer service in our business world. And with enterprise being the only rental agency in Salisbury, realistically they would not have to consistently go above and beyond for all their customers as their normal mode of business practice, but it is evident that management at this specific location has adopted it as their business model. I have never asked for anything extra, but routinely surprised the representative takes a few moments with me and makes the effort to ask me about my experience and never hesitates to take actions to improve upon it any way possible without me ever having to ask. I have been given extra fuel, a free upgrade, permission to arrive a little late when my situation required it, changed vehicles when the one I was assigned did not meet my needs, and the ability to extend my rental hassle free whenever needed. Moreover, I witness each rep accommodating every single customer in the store with a genuine, 100% authentic sense of caring about their rental experience. You just cannot fake that all the time, making it clear that management takes pride in valuing customers by the superior employees they maintain at this location. You just do not see this type of customer service anywhere these days. This branch deserves to win an award for their region, and should be used as an example for all other rental locations. I am writing this review with the hope that corporate takes notice - as evident in their consistently positive reviews. Furthermore, their vehicles are very nice and I just learned they have upgraded their selection to accommodate customer needs. Most of all, I want to thank each one of the employees here for making me feel like a valued customer. No request has been too big or too small for this team to handle. As a result. I am a loyal repeat customer at the Salisbury Enterprise for life. Keep up the great work!

My van stopped running one day to another .. it was morning time and Mr. Shannon accommodated me so well .. He sent a very pleasant gentlemen to pick me up from my home . I was able to take my kids to school /daycare and make it on time to work . This is my second time visiting enterprise . Chris is always friendly, always has a smile on his face and always delivers great customer service . The rest of the guys are great as well . As soon as I walked in I was greeted, acknowledged and made sure I was being taken care of . The cars are always nice and clean, run great! I am very pleased with enterprise . Highly recommended.
I was prepared to give a 1-star review for this location, but after careful consideration, I opted to a 2-star review, because it wasnt this Enterprise locations fault, but rather a Enterprise Reservations mistake.I was in Salisbury on Sunday afternoon, and my car broke down. I need a car to get back to Charlotte. I called enterprise at the Salisbury location, and explained to the lady what had happened and if I could get a rental car for the day. She asked when I needed and and I replied, now. I asked if she was local, because I had a feeling she was from a reservation center and not at the local Enterprise. She said she was, and said she had two cars available. I gave her my information, said that I would be there in 10 minutes, which was past their closing time. She said that would not be a problem, and that they would wait for me. I was there in 15 minutes, and the place was closed, not a light on, and the two cars she told me were available, were not even on the lot. I was either at the wrong location, or the lady I spoke with was not local, and was from a reservation center. I was able to call a friend to come get me, and on my return home, I received a confirmation email on my rental car. Maybe the call center needs to have people who understand what customers are saying, and not just read dialogue from a manual. This was very frustrating, and I would never rent from enterprise.Monday, I called Enterprise near my home in Charlotte, asked to speak to someone local, and was directed to a reservation center, after several attempts, and finally demanding that I not be transferred to the call center, I was able to speak to someone local, and after explaining my situation, and I needed a one way rental, he said he could not quote me a price, and that I needed to be transferred to the call center. He did tell me that a one way rental would cost an additional $50-150 based on distance, if there were any events going on in the area, and the availability... I said, No Thank You. Again, never will I rent from Enterprise.
When in picked the car right up. Everyone was very nice and helpful. After my trip went in and dropped the car off. They looked over it and I was on my way. I’ll definitely use them again when I need to rent a car.

I rent from this location a few times a year, usually for business. The staff is always friendly, wait times are reasonable and as always they will pick you up or take you back to your car. Vehicles are always clean and in good shape.

When I went online to reserve a car, it said around $400. It didnt say anything about the $200 deposit or the daily fee for not having full coverage car insurance. Finally figured out it would be around 800 for the week and I finally scraped together enough money to get it then when I got there they still wouldnt let me rent it because they only accept credit cards since I have an out of state license. I even called before going all the way there and they said nothing about that. My credit card has a $200 limit so I asked them if I could pay most of it with debit and put the rest on credit that way they would still have my card on file but they said I had to pay the full amount on my credit card. After all that bs I ended up not even getting a car. I will never go to enterprise again after all that. They make it almost impossible for someone to rent a car.

I was told to wait an extra day to bring my Brand new $85,000 truck in to service at the dealership because Enterprise didnt have any cars available today. So I waited an extra day, Enterprise picked me up, assured me they would have something comparable to what i drive. Once they got me to their establishment, they told me the only 2 nice vehicles they had were already promised. They wanted to give me a tiny little basic Kia, NO WAY! Sorry, this is a warranty issue being paid for by Chrysler, i called Chrysler and told them to send a shuttle and take me back. After 10 minutes and a call from Chrysler, Enterprise magically produced a new Ford Expedition for me to drive. That will do fine. Im sorry, you should get what your promised, especially after waiting a whole day for them to get their act together. Very disappointed, because they did me right a week ago, when I needed them, but really dropped the ball and tried to play me, this time.

The guys are always so helpful and go out of their way to make sure I am good to go before every trip. They are super busy but still try to give as much attention and focus to you when it is your turn. I am never disappointed.
Great customer service, also fast and easy pick up and after hours drop off. Great price on a new 4x4 truck. Only downfall was not knowing the gas millage the truck got before driving it, around 16mpg hwy. Had i known the mpg was that bad, I would have chose a truck with a little better mpg (they had several different trucks available on the lot), due to the fact that I had to drive about 1500 miles. It would be great if they put the approximate mpg on all of the vehicles they rent, or let the customer know the approximate mpg prior to picking one in the chosen class.

I have been here several times. I have to say to the bad reviews on here about service are fake or people trying to get over. Everytime I go here, they are great. As far as being ignored, Alan is usually standing at the desk waiting for someone as they come in. If they dont have the vehicle you rented they will upgrade yours. This is just an outstanding place with an outstanding staff. I never have been sold on something I didnt want and always treat great. I literally am in and out in 5 minutes. When I arrived at Enterprise, they did not have a car available for pick up, which was a huge inconvenience since I was having car issues and needed to get mine in the shop, in addition, needing to drive 30 minutes one directions to pick my son up from school and then an hour to a medical appointment for him. When I returned to Enterprise several hours later, they upgraded the vehicle and gave me a discount due to my inconvenience. I would definitely use them again if necessary.
My name is Linda Knight and I rented a 15 passenger van from enterprise. The experience was as easy as 1, 2, 3. First I made my reservation via internet, printed out my confirmation. Upon my arrival for pick-up I had to make some changes like moving my date up one day and changing my drop-of day. Because I had already completed my reservation online I didnt have to wait in line, my vehicle was ready, Service was outstanding and I would be using this location many, more times. I also had my insurance information, and any utility bill (if needed). The customer service was great, professional, and of great quality. Thank you so much for your service.

We have used this place twice in a weeks time. Our first experience was fast and easy. Our second experience was painful. When we returned our first rental we reserved the next rental for a few days later the associate told us it would be like $70 for a one day rental, sweet. Well we got there and they didnt have the size car we reserved which they upgraded us for free which is cool. Except it ended up being like $270 dollars and my husband was a little short on funds so we needed to work it out with our friend who was with us. The associate helping us was up in our financial conversations the entire time which I thought was super rude and he made it complicated every step of the way. My friend was going to put it on her debit card he was about to take it than said ohhh... Your from CA and dont have residency here in NC well I cant take a debit card it has to be a credit card. Than tells us he will drive us to the bank to transfer her funds into our account which would have made this ordeal so much longer so she said she would call her credit card co. To see if she has enough free funds to use her CC. She said OH duh I can just make a payment on CC she was talking to ME. The associate jumps in that wont work cause it will take 24-48 hrs for your payment to go through completely caught off guard my friend said my CC is through my bank and I chose THIS card because funds are available right away he than tells us that if this doesnt work that we can call an UBER to take us to charlotte! The guy would just not stop talking and chiming in really rude remarks to us. He literally could have walked away and let us figure out what we were doing. Next time my friend comes to town she is going to get a rental from the airport after this whole ordeal.
