Ive been here at Lakewood for over four years now. I would have to say that overall my stay has been good. From the office to maintenance everything is handled in a timely manner. Where I stay is basically quiet and clean.

Okay place I guess. Been trying to get in touch with maintenance, ac is out for the second time in a year, its August and hot as hell. Not sure what the office actually does. Wants my my money but doesnt want to provide a comfortable place to live. Never answers calls, always has an excuse. Been here for 3 years and the new management is worse than the old. At least they answered calls. Your best bet would be to try to find somewhere in surrounding areas bc you will be stuck here with the way they raise rent every year. Living at home with family and want to get out? Save up and stay a little longer. Itll be worth it. You wont have to spend sweaty sleepless nights here.

I have been trying to contact their office for days now. My application was denied for some reason and I cant even find out why. I am constantly redirected to an office that cant help me. Dont even give these people the satisfaction of snatching your application fee ($50)- Edit (09/07/2021)After raising my concerns, I was contacted by the office. Ms. Callie is the most helpful person Ive met during my time applying. She explained and broke everything down for me. Thanks!

I’ve been calling the office and no one ever responds. I’ve been trying to receive my lease to sign it. I’ve also left voicemails and no one ever returns my phone call. Had issues with lease renewal which they never got back to me. I had to keep calling and calling and then send someone over to the office to finally get them to speak to me. Never had an issue with lease renewal before until this new management…

Nice place to work. Management takes care of its employees. Great benefits. Pay scale is good but could be great. I encourage anyone looking for employment to try Boral Composite

Lakewood apartment management is awesome they took really good care of my grandchildren and my son recently my middle son died and my younger son is taking in his three boys and Lakewood management made all of that possible. Again thank you my son and I really do appreciate it Anthony Paige and Patricia Matthews

The apartments are good for what you pay for. The new management is better than the old one, but I can NEVER get a hold of them and you have to go on the app when you need. Dont let them get you sold on the pools. Ive now will be my second year here and not once have I seen them get cleaned or put up so they can be used. I get its been covid season, but my neighbor above me has live at these apartments for now five years she said and not once has she been able to swim in the pools. Not to mention there is NO WHERE for kids to play other than the streets and other peoples parking spots. Theres a basketball ball court for them, but its not at all up kept either. They have a hard time up keeping things when it comes to things like that or they just dont care. Yet, they can go into your apartment without any notice and do whatever they need. Also, they can put in new windows and not care if they break your stuff or take your stuff either. They have a dish washer, but theres really no point when theres no garbage disposable and your sink gets clogged alot. So, please save yourself. They dont care about you. They only care about your money

No more quietness here. Always construction here. Always someone in your apartment for so called upgrades that need to be done in empty apartments. My nerves are shot from all this. No sleep and its not from neighbors either. Its all this work they doing that shouldnt be done on the ones living in them. I know Im out of here and so are others. We are tired of cleaning up messes from these people that is suppose to be to be working on these apartment and hitting on under age girls. Very disrespectful of these new owners that dont care about their people living in their apartment. I lived here for years and anything that is owned by this new company I will make sure I never rent from them.

Don’t move here. Terrible unsafe place to live. And they charge too much. They cut off the water with no notice. They don’t communicate in general.Edit: there are 2 bullet holes in the passenger side of my car that came from living here. Nothing short of a lease break can help me improve my stay.

DON’T EVER MOVE HERE OR EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING HERE!!!!! They let people walk in my apartment without telling me and took down curtain rods and curtains did not bother to hang them back up and honestly just destroyed the place. They don’t care about the happiness of the people that live here. I think they favor some people over other. Example some people can just do what every the please and multiple people can complain and nothing will be done. They also don’t answer emails or phone and much less the door. I went to the office door to get assistance with noise and a lady looked at me and hid behind her computer so she wouldn’t have to talk to me. They also don’t do things when they say they are going to do them.

Pool was green water last time I saw it.

I would not tell my worst enemy to move in this place they always going up on your rent and they always not reliable to fix stuff I am still currently living here in I am looking for a place to move

Wish i could give them negative stars or zero stars. this place is now encouraging their online payment website and it is horrible. my boyfriend has made 3 different payments using the website and each time he pays somehow it says we owe more money. also they decide to take the money out a week or two after you have already paid them which causes there to not be enough money because we are also paying other bills on top of paying our rent but our rent comes first. no one helped up with the issue when we called earlier on in the day she said she didn’t know what was wrong with it. i highly suggest to not use the online payment website along with not living at this apartment complex. ridiculous prices for the service. also right now they don’t offer the on site laundromat (just thought i should let people know before they even look into this place) ontop of all that they decide to make these extra charges on a friday so we can’t even figure out what is going on with the account. highly disappointed with the service here

Lakewood!! Lol this place holds so many memories for my family and more still being made! I love this complex, nice management, maintenance mens, and most importantly, they have a pool and most complexes have pools and weve seen some that doesnt even open for summer but they have you paying for it included in rent... Nope, not Lakewood! The pool is always open (summer days that is) and the community is always nice and friendly to one another.. I love to visit here!!

Wish I could put pictures on here. Guys came Into my apartment to “fix” my a/c for the second time and stuffed part of a cardboard box they had found in my kitchen under it to stop the water leaking onto the carpet.

The staff at Lakewood is very helpful and friendly. Mrs. Kathy, Mrs. Michelle and Latavia are always welcoming with smiling faces. They are understanding and genuine and my girls just love them. The apartments are decent for the price and I havent had any problems in the neighborhood. I would recommend living here as a starter for young adults fresh out of college or anyone getting their first place.

I have been living here since Feb. 2017. Apartment staff is very caring and will go out of their to make sure you feel at home. Mainatiance is very quick to address any concerns you have within apartment. Despite the initial reviews and comments I received it is the exact opposite of what I was told. Initially got 6 month lease and just renewed for another year.

Going to be moving in soon . this will be my first apartment . the staff is very helpful. They gave me a tour the first day I went. The apartment is a little bit small. But it will be just fine for me and my expecting baby.

Great Staff! If You Have Any Problems They Will Help You Out Quick Fast And In A Hurry.

The staff are very nice and friendly. Ms. Latavia helped me a few months ago when I struggled to find a new job so I could keep my apartment. Even though I make enough now that I could move there isnt a better place to be. Ms. Tamecia is always willing to help and the whole team makes you feel comfortable.

Good for cheap living. Pretty small apartments. I decided not to move here, but it seems decent.

Very small and the 1 bedroom I sa w didnt even have a street facing window. The renovation for new move ins is anything but. They painted a double door closet and just ran theyve roller right down the middle painting the 2 doors together so u couldnt even open them. Management seemed like they were about give me your money and take a number Id look elsewhere for living aragenments

NOTHING is AS ADVERTISED.... rent prices are increased, bit website not updated; Maintenance does what they want as far as repairs, when they want to, and their is no check/ balance/ accountability.

Overpriced small kitchens and the property seem to care nothing about complaints of the bugs

Terrible place to live. I have strangers walking around my apartment windows all times of night. Was just thrown into an apartment without touring. Apartments are small and office management is rude

Might as well live in the projects, when they start taking section 8,the same people that live in the projects will be your neighbors soon! Isnt that what you want to pay 650$ a month for?

My son stays here and he cant even sleep because of the bed bugs and they wont even help my boi but want him to pay rent

People have no respect for people under them but let you play music in day time or before 10:0clockthey come knocking on your door about your music but you know your family is running over peoples head
