We placed down over 2k in deposits for an apartment and signed a lease that was automatically sent to us via UDR’s system. The leasing office contacted us to say the lease didn’t count and they needed to modify the dates, which didn’t work for us - so they offered to cancel the application and offer a full refund on all deposits. It is now a month later and we keep getting the run around from the leasing office, the billing department, and the business manager, Ana. We have in writing their promise to return our money and they still haven’t sent a check. Their phones go straight to voicemail half the time, even during business hours. Utterly impossible and unprofessional.

If I could put a 0 star I would!! If planing on renting from this complex DONT DO IT!!!! Worst management I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t address your issues at a timely manner or sometimes even ever. Its very difficult to get the right person to speak with regarding your concerns no matter which way you try to reach them whether by phone, text or email. I’ve now been without a good working stove for 7 months. It’s hard already being affected by COVID-19 financially to have to spend income I don’t really even have everyday to buy already cooked food for my children because they refuse fix the problem. Then they wonder why I can’t pay my rent. That’s only one issue amongst many. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE look around for more options before even considering here. DONT DO IT!!!!!

Our apartment flooded due to burst pipes in the wall. One week later, we still have a stained carpet or yet to receive a response from management regarding our carpet. Definitely looking at moving out after the lease ends if it doesn’t get fixed.Continuation: Laurel Street Apartment ended up sending their floor contractor to replace the damaged carpet. When I came back my wedding glasses were missing (stolen). I informed the maintenance guy and contacted corporate via email. Once again no one has reached out again.Laurel St. Apartment is great at accepting our money but terrible when it comes to resolving problems. The fact that I have to go on social media and leave reviews to get anything done is astounding.

Laurel tree apartments has been such a great community since day one. The staff are always very friendly and helpful with services that we request. I would highly recommend The Laurel Tree apartments to friends and family. Thank you all for such a great experience!

Moved in last month and am loving our little community. The office staff is very welcoming and helpful. Our neighbors have been so welcoming, and our kids have made fast friends here, and love playing at the park. Love taking our dog to the dark park here, the gym is great, and maintenance requests are responded to in a timely manner. These are safe, quiet, friendly, apartments.

We just moved in this week but I already feel at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment looked great when we moved in. It is a relatively quiet community, even being near the highway. I love that it is a gated community as well. I am looking forward to living here for awhile.

I have been living here since November, and so far nothing but good things about this place, the laundromat is great because it’s not usually packed and the machines are great. It’s a quiet and friendly area to live. The best part of living here is that the staff gets things done when needed and are always willing to help. On top of that it’s a gated community and they have security that patrols everyday. Overall a great environment👌🏽

I made an appointment to see these apartments for 10:30am and I was told they open at 10am. I arrived and I had the front gate code that they emailed me with the apartment info and told me that the code would be sent shortly to enter the apartment. It was never sent to me.My husband and i decided to call the office no answer, then we thought lets just go look through the glass to see the apartment and it was a studio apartment! I never informed them that I wanted to see a studio. I wanted to see the loft and the one bedroom that they have on there website. We left since we couldnt speak to anyone and no one was in the office to help or guide us. I emailed Yesnia back asking for more info? And got nothing!!!Dont even bother wasting your time since the management doesnt care to much for other peoples time.

Toured these apartments and truly amazed oh how beautiful it is once you step inside. The studio was one of the nicest studios i have seen in the area. If youre looking for a studio i recommend Laurel Im looking forward to move in there soon.

I have been living here almost a year with no problems. Alex and his maintenance crew are always willing to give a helping hand and the front office manager Letty, is awesome because she always makes sure things get done right and efficiently.

Such a beautiful apartment complex the neighbors are super friendly. The landscaping is my favorite, Dog friendly which is a plus! so much green scenery makes for great dog walks!

Very quiet, there is always parking available, they keep it clean and they are very quick to fix anything that breaks. Staff is really nice and helpful!! I will recommend this place!

I have lived here for about to weeks now and in that span of me living here my girlfriends car got broken into they stole her stereo and gate opener to the apartment when I asked if they kept track of who is using the key fob to get in our gate they said they have no records of that . So what is the point of having a “gated community when no real actions are taken and we can only get another gate opener if we file a police report such bs ... I’m only 2 weeks into my 1 year lease and I already strongly recommend not renting here seems quite and all but that’s exactly why you shouldn’t move here I’ve never ever seen security on site ! Also when I first moved in on the first day I had a leak in my sink and they couldn’t get to it for a couple days do to other “leaks on campus” also the bathroom door wouldn’t close because the Hing was only screwed with 1 screw . I recommend really checking everything out when looking at the apartment as they don’t care if there a leak or bad sink they just want that deposit and first month rent

If I could give it a 0 stars I absolutely would. When me and my boyfriend first moved in, in 2018 we were told we had a “free carport” that came with our apartments. We specifically asked them this because we had the other employee tell us they were free as well. It’s now 2020 and I’ve noticed as far as my rent goes back on their records I’ve been paying $30 for this “free carport” wooow. Smh I could’ve saved so much money!& if that was the case I would’ve never got it! Emailed them, let’s see what they say. Or if the owner will respond to this cause Jody only seems to respond to 5 star reviews! Sadly lease is up in November let’s see what else they randomly charge me with! Please don’t move here! & if you do check your rent monthly, rent somehow always goes up! Oh & Security is horrible, my car got broken into the 1st week I moved in, they took my gate opener, I had to make a police report! Bad alllll around!

I’ve been living here for over two years now and it’s been great! Maintenance is always on it and the front office has been wonderful with any concerns. I love the layout of our apt. My only thing is that our appliances are a bit outdated (not the case for everyone) and parking can get over crowded.

Very quiet clean apartment complex! That fact that it’s gated is just a plus for me. The complex is no more than 5 minutes to literally everything that I am in need off. And staff is extremely helpful and kind.

Horrible experience, they told me i had to pay 1,000 dollars a couple days before the lease ended when on the contract said another amount which was less,(this was only for a two wks only to pay that amount not a whole mth of lease) supposedly and according to them i had two utility bills past due, due to them getting behind on utilities from their system (wasnt my fault). The utility bill is already included in the rent already as well. I strongly believe that was not true my rent bill was the same every month and more than indicated from the contract. Beware of prices change during your lease.

This complex drains tenants of every nickle and dime possible. Its a rip off.. they charge for parking which you have no other parking options. They also charge joint utilities for the building youre inSo you pay for your neighbors usage as well. The place isnt very secure you have people breaking into the laundry room and going through the dumpsters at all hours of the day and night. Cars have been broken into. The manager is hardly ever on site if you need anything. The units are small for the price. When your lease is up and want to go month to month they jack up the rent even more. Upon moving out i cleaned the unit from top to bottom and they still charged a $190 cleaning fee absolutely ridiculous!! Stay away of you want to keep your hard earned money!!

Units come with fleas. I had to have it treated 2 times after I moved in and I assume the previous tenant paid a carpet cleaning fee (same as I was charged when I left) since they were only a few years into the 6 year legal limit on carpet. The unit I was initially supposed to move into wasnt ready at our agreed upon date because it had extensive roach infestation and I was forced to wait 2 more weeks (not compensated) for the flea infested unit I did get. Most of the time the laundry was not functioning because of nonstop plumbing problems. The upper units have obvious settling and dips in the floors. And from the safety side there are no GFI (ground fault breakers) near sinks / water- its a code violation they skirt around by not getting permits when they upgrade the units. Hopefully nobody gets electrocuted in these old run down units. Housing is bad enough in the area, but Id suggest looking elsewhere. And BTW, management will tell you things that corporate will say are not true, so be careful what you sign
