Roach infested, outdated, thought I was getting an upgraded apartment. Ended up with the most outdated apartment there. Took 777 dollars from my deposit for “carpet replacement” which I have video of the apartment and carpet, moved out. Carpet did not need to be replaced at all. No matter how good you clean the place, they will still keep, a majority of the deposit. Once my lease was up (may 11th) they charged 640 dollars for the 11 days then 260 for final bills and another 260 again. Mind you I was already gone and moved out by end of April. So 1100 and something was the move out total. Again, roach infestation was huge problem. Didn’t wanna do much about it because every tenant around me had to also complain, so they hit them all, at the same time. So, no matter how many times they came and sprayed, it never did anything. I moved in with brand new furniture and everything and when I moved out I didn’t bother to take anything because of the roaches. My fault for not checking the apartment before signing the lease. Be prepared to pay 1867 total for a two bedroom. Overly expensive for a garbage apartment. Windows kept coming out. First day of move in the only thing that was brand new was the carpet. Apartment wasn’t cleaned, I had to do it. Needed another refrigerator they bring a dirty one from another vacant apartment that has dents in it, again, I had to clean it. Over all not worth it. So happy I found a brand new home and am completely out of there.

Horrible! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Like the previous person said.... they will take every dime from your deposit even when you get your apartment professionally cleaned.Tried getting ahold of ANA JIMENEZ for TWO weeks after I moved out. I never received a call back and never received an email back to try and handle the issue. She’s apart of the scam.DON’T MOVE HERE!

Very expensive for the quality!! First of all please review your contract, they do not respect your application if you filled one out for 4 months. Make sure you get a copy of the application as well, because I didn’t get one until after I moved out. That is only because I kept sending emails and insisting on a response. They will literally charge you the last penny of your deposit. Whatever you do don’t go here the rent is expensive and goes up every month and there is roaches. Overall do not recommend!! At this point I’m so dissatisfied that I don’t care if I had to pay some extra money, I’m just glad I am out of that place.

The price of rent outweighs the quality by a long shot.The carpet was not replaced between tenants but they sprinkled an unknown powder into the carpet to give it an appearance that it was new, it took almost a month to completely vacuum it out of the carpet and find various stains in the carpet. They painted so fast in the entire apartment I continue to find paint specs on the linoleum floors and the mirror in the bathroom. Whoever did the caulking for the bathroom tub clearly didnt know what they were doing because its not sticking. The ventilation is awful. The single pane windows let the cold in year round. Im guessing the last tenant used the countertop as their personal cutting board based on the number of grooves and slice marks on the counter. They couldnt even take the time to replace the bedroom door that clearly someone punched a hole through, they just did a really shoddy patch job. I know of at least three separate tenants who have had to move out of this complex due to cockroaches and/or the extremely rude tenant who thinks its his duty to get drunk and stand on the sidewalk and yell racial slurs at people.UPDATE 04/26/2021someone broke in to the mail boxes and they have yet to be repaired.

First off, we were unable to see the apartment we wanted to lease until the day of the move in date, we tried to see the apartment before the move in date because we don’t want to move in an apartment we haven’t seen. (Another persons review warned people that they make sure they see the apartment before signing because they show you the nicest apartment and make it seem like that is what you are getting) and guess what!? They showed us a really nice apartment and told us it was the same size. The day we went to sign the lease and “move in” the on-site manager was pressuring us to sign first and then look at our apartment, after repeatedly communicating to him we did not feel comfortable signing the lease without seeing the apartment. No details were given as to what the apartment had or looked like. He said to look at the apartment and then meet with him to the leasing office to sign the lease and so forth. We walked in and it was decent. The kitchen was completely different. It was so old and outdated. The cabinets looked like a dog was chewing on ALL the edges of the cabinets. Poorly repainted with dripping dried paint on all of it. The cabinets when pulled opens felt like they were going to fall off. The drawers when pulled had no railing sides so basically don’t pull all the way without holding it securely or your items will fall out. The refrigerator was yellow and looked like they repainted it with white out, it looked horrible. The stove was so old and had spilled paint on it. The apartment was humid. After looking at it we decided for the ridiculous price we were not going to rent this piece of garbage apartment. We told the on-site manager we were disappointed and that we will not be signing the lease he didn’t seem to care and said if we’d be interested in one similar and a little updated but for even MORE money!!! We said we’d meet him in the leasing office and he said we will not meet because of COVID.. what?? He said to meet him there cause he needed us to sign the lease, get our money orders and take copies of our ID’s and needed to take copies of our registrations and al of the sudden we will not meet cause of Covid? Completely lied and he knew it... overall don’t trust anything.. READ REVIEWS PLEASE..

This is a wonderful place for a family to live. Been there 5 months and I have never experience anything negative. The staff is great they are very prompt on all my request. These apartments are great! They have definitely upgraded the looks of the grounds and and a vast of their apartment interiors.

Deciding whether to live in Salinas or other surrounding areas when I relocated from out of town; took a tour of Cambridge Court. Property was very clean, apartment spacious, several pools, reasonable rent. Location was good, close to the #highway, lots of authentic #restaurants. Leasing help Artie was excellent, did a great job helping me compare #Cambridge to other options in the area and didnt make me feel rushed. If I end up moving to Salinas, I can definitely see myself living at Cambridge Court!

I currently reside here since May 2018 very quiet place to live.. the children seem safe.. parents seems content..and employees working hard all the time..truly Blessed to have the opportunity to live here.... Thank You from my Family to yours....Happy Thanksgiving 24s

Beautiful apartments. These apartments are very nice and the multiple pools, laundry rooms and park are always clean. Quiet and safe environment, no issues with neighbors. Office and maintenance management is always on point and ready to help. Would definetly recommend living here!

I live here now. Very basic apartments and grounds. Very poorly managed by the property management company.Things like gates, washers/dryers/lights rarely fixed yet the rent is expected on the first of the month rain or shine.Local staff is great, but theyre clearly handcuffed by a poorly run property management company from out-of-state.

Friendly office and maintenance personnel, very courteous and professional. Property is well kept and maintained, on site laundry, pools, playground. Different ammentties from washer and dryers in units, to upgraded appliances and upgraded apartment homes. Courtesy patrol, on call maintenance staff. Overall I’ve had a great experience.

Nice and quiet place. Never had problems with the neighbors. I like all the upgrades they’re doing, and how helpful the office staff and service guys are.

They fail to communicate in a timely fashion. Do not disclose all aspects of fees associated with living at the apartment up front. My unit does not have air conditioning and this was not disclosed up front. There is no way to anonymously or privately report concerns. They purposely do not practice transparency until you are locked into the lease and are stuck. I do not feel safe

Overall, a poor renting experience! Outrageous prices, including being charged for every possible utility and service. Old, drafty buildings with mold. Staff is professional, though hardly friendly; under-staffed. UDR will squeeze every penny they can from you! I dont know if there are better options in Salinas, but you should definitely shop around.

HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. looks good online but when you been their in person its horrible. lots of drug activity going on. the apartments are very old and full of mold and its just being painted over instead of fixed. and good luck getting your deposit back they look for any little detail to keep your deposit. i turned in my apartment in WAY BETTER conditions than when we moved in and they still didnt give me my deposit back

Please read the full review!We are first time renters and we had a very rough start with this complex. We found the perfect apartment with everything we wanted that was an upstairs unit. The day before we moved in a pipe burst and did major damage to the unit. Our move in date was postponed...then come to find out their contractors couldnt even give them a completion date. So they tried their best to find an apartment that matched that and suited our wants and needs. They couldnt find exactly what we wanted in an upstairs unit so we settled for a downstairs unit with everything else that we had wanted. The original move in date for the new unit was pushed back as well last minute. Once we got moved in it was great though! We have lived here for about two months and our particular unit is fairly quite and private. The apartment was nice and clean upon moving in as well. Recently I came home to find my truck was missing from where I parked it in the complex. I thought it was stolen because I had parked it in an unmarked/unassigned parking spot. With the help of Salinas PD we found out that it had been towed for being parked in someone elses spot. The spot was completely unmarked and I would have never parked in it had it been marked. I contacted the apartment manager and she was very kind in getting things worked out for us because it was their mistake by not having the space marked. We had to pay the fees to have my truck released from the tow yard, but the manager had us bring in the receipt and the credited us the full amount towards rent. From what Ive been told its fairly rare to find apartment managers that are this kind and willing to correct a mistake on the complexs behalf, but Im extremely happy that we were able to come to a good conclusion on this incident. All in all weve had some bumps in the road, but the management and office staff are great and the apartment (while pricy) is really comfortable to live in. Thanks!

Scam Alert, try to take $47.oo for credit report and deposit. Email to me said i had poor credit history (FICO Score 865) no late charges ever on anything. No evictions. Never been arrested or charged. I have passed a FBI background investigation for my govt. work.They didnt do a report or they had the wrong person. I contacted them within 24 hours. Rented apt to someone, that the $250.oo fee was suppose to hold. They are trying to charge me for an apt. that they already rented. FRAUD SCAM RENTERS BE WARE

Worst place to rent. Nothing works there the front fence is always broken They have a big problems with rats in the apartments, the person in charge there is very rude his name is Oscar.I dont recommend any body to live there.

Nice clean place to live with your familia just hella short on visiting parking spaces pull is nice as well and well its surrounded by all the stores which is nice as well

I have very good recommendations for these apartments. They have changed a lot in recent years. It is not like before. The office and maintenance guys work very fast and are very responsive. The apartments are spacious and many remodeled. I have recommended a lot of people here.
