For Salem residents: dont expect the staff to be helpful here. With their demeanor I am surprised I didnt get yelled at for asking genuine questions. :) Drive your car up to the booth, hand in your coupon and drivers license, go dump where they tell you to, come back to the booth on the other side and going the opposite direction to re-weigh your car and collect the license back along with the receipt. Easy peasy.
Good place for dump trashPrice is not bad....
Way overpriced waiting an hour and a half to dump no good
Take took good care of me
If you want to waste your day waiting over an hour to get in and half an hour to get out then come here. If you want to actually get rid of your trash I’d suggest going somewhere else. Their system is an absolute joke and on top of that they’re overpriced.
I dump here for work, cool staff
Always a good place to unload debris. Especially at a reasonable price you cant beat it.
Held hostage because of Town of Salem contracting to these folks. Town of Salem transfer station does not take kitchen cabinets so you have to pay $25 and then wait in a line that goes down the entirety of the entrance all the way to the main road. Been waiting about 40min so far and not even halfway to the gate. Was like this last time I was here. It would be great if they could have a scale/entrance for town folks in pickup trucks rather than sitting for an hour+ with the commercial trucks. Reasoning for this is I get waved to an inconspicuous corner right by the gate and away from the commercial trucks anyways. Makes no sense since once I get past the gate non-commercial trucks go a different route.
Nice people and easy to get trash done
Everyone here is a professional
I arrive before closing but I was still denied service by this company and I have been a faithful customer. Bring your business over to North Andover at North carding recycling plant. They have a $50 minimum and they’ll treat you like a human being and the customer that you are. I will never be back to this particular transfer station ever again they will never get another dollar from me
Terrible. Got there, pulled onto the weigh in station after waiting for someone to at least wave us on (they didnt). Then waited for someone to say we could move on from there (once again no one did). Pulled forward to the stop sign to wait for someone to tell us where to dump. Waited 5 minutes, a man finally ran out of the tiny shed with an attitude. Shooed us over to a dump area went back inside his shed which Im assuming has A/C and he just didnt feel like doing his job on the 95° day. Its a good thing i have been here before because if not I wouldnt have known how the hell to get out of there. No direction, no signs. Pulled around back huge loader not paying attention what so ever almost backs into us. To the point we had to back up. Still didnt see us. Drove around the back. Got stuck behind someone just parked in front of the weigh station to get out of the dump. Finally got to the weigh station. Got out to speak with woman in the building. Waited outside the window (usually they open it for you and greet you, not in this case) was waved with an attitude to open the window. She was in the middle of the room, you had to lean into the room to get the paper and pay her! Not one word said other than the price. A hefty $157 for 980 lbs. 0.49 ton. Not even a Ton at over $150!? Ridiculous! Too bad the closest ones aside from that one are town resident only dumps.Hopfully they clean up their act and do their jobs some time soon. The womans name was Kathryn McGowan.Oh and she put the wrong company on the slip. Im in hudson, she put a company from dracut, only thing the same was the first name. Not for nothing, the company name was on the truck!Thats all.
