After discovering I had a slow leak in my bathroom which had damaged the flooring and left dampness in the crawl space I began seeking recommendations and appraisals. From the friendly and helpful phone staff and the expert appraisers on to the hard working and efficient on site staff I could not have been more impressed. I recommend this business most highly.

ServPro of Salem West is AMAZING! Over the past 12-18 months, they have helped us out on numerous occasions with cleaning up biohazards at a building we own downtown. Jessica is always there for me when I need to get something scheduled and the whole team is fabulous to work with...plus they do a fantastic and thorough job. In the process of selling our home, the inspector had noted possible bio-organic growth in attic. I knew there was no way this was possible, as I am up in the attic very regularly, and it is in very good shape up there (the roof is also newer as well).To satisfy the buyer however, I had an inspection done by ServPro so that they could write something up for me to give the buyer saying that it had been addressed and that there was no mold.The technician who came out was a very friendly, nice guy. He explained to me that what he saw in the attic was nothing more than discoloration of the wood, and there was definitely no mold. He told me they see this all the time in Oregon, and its not a very big deal, but inspectors have to list it as possible growth just to cover themselves from potential lawsuits.He told me they would treat it with something (though he didnt mention what), take photos of it, and write-up a report to give to the buyers.He was out here for probably 30-45 minutes, including the time it took him to do his thing in the attic.The cost for all this? $500. Truth be told, Id be leaving 5-stars if it wasnt for the cost. I personally would have expected something like this to cost around $300. I figure his time is probably worth $100-$150 an hour (including driving to my house), plus spraying the product, and writing up the report.So I do feel the price was greatly inflated as they know that in my position as the seller, I really have no other choice but to satisfy the buyer. That being said, if it wasnt for the outrageous price for 30-45 minutes of his time, I would be leaving 5-stars.However, Im going to leave 3-stars because of this. I have no issues with this company as they were all very friendly, responsive, and polite. I just think that $500 is a bit of price gouging for something so simple. I would have had no problem doing this myself, Im just not an official company, so I couldnt give my buyer a nice letterhead saying there was no mold.In summary: Fantastic company, friendly and punctual employees, but drastically inflated prices.

We had a accidental fire occur on 11/4/19. I made one call to Johanna at SERVPRO & she took care of everything else. She was always just a call or text away if I happen to have any questions. Although we did not have a fire on sight at Willamette Lutheran Retirement Community in Keizer Oregon, we did have poor air quality and smoke. Oregon suffered many wildfires and our state was in crisis. We serve 120 seniors in our community and the air quality was poor for our residents and 75 employees. We have worked with SERVPRO in the past with a water damage issue and they had served us Will, so I called them. It was a Sunday around noon and within 2 hours they had installed 2 industrial air cleaners and our poor air quality was on its way to being improved. I scheduled an appointment, Rick came out to give me a quote. He was also the one who came out the next week to do the work. Rick was on time, very professional and took care of the task at hand. I would 100% recommend SERVPRO to anyone who asked.

I called at 1:30am cause our basement was flooded with rain water. Still havent heard from them. Why call yourself a 24/7 hours service if you dont have anyone actually making service calls. So if you have an emergency dont call them cause they wont call back or help at that moment.

Through one of the most difficult times in our lives Servpro was there. Post fire in an adjoining business they saw to it that our space was ready in time for reopen. What would usually take months took only six weeks and they did a great job. Thank you Chad and team!

We were very happy with the work Servpro of Salem West. We had a water line break over night which destroyed our cabinets and floors in the bathroom and kitchen. Servpro replaced the cabinets and flooring in an efficient, thoughtful, and well managed way. We were impressed by their attention to detail.

We have (Id like to say had but they have taken so long to finish anything we are still in the midst of it) a water loss in my craft room. My husband has done as much or more work than they ever did. Thankfully he used to work for this company, which is why we thought we could trust them, so he knew what to do. They sent inept workers that my husband had to help and point out things they missed and he has had to call them more times than I can count to ask when they would come finish. They continually put us off giving reasons like they had other losses to attend to and would tell us theyd be at our house at a certain day and time and then never show up or call to let us know they werent going to be there. Hopefully we wont ever have to deal with this again but if we do we certainly wont use this company

Jessica R., Maria, Aaron, Hilda and Jessica S. were awesome! My office had 8 windows broken out by vandals and there was a huge mess. I called them at 8 am and they were to my office working with in an hour. Couldnt be happier with their work.

Earlier I posted a 2 star review, while the workers were very nice and professional, the problem with our appointment being 3 hours late and not being notified was frustrating. The owner of the company immediately contacted me to talk about what happened and investigated the process. Come to find out that because it was ordered by a realtor they had both of our contact numbers. The realtor was contacted about the the change and I was not notified. When talking with the General Manager he stated that this issue has been a learning experience and is now resolved. I very much appreciate the timeliness and immediate action taken. This company does care about their clients and will make things right.

Would not recommend

I are locked out of our house. The team in Salem, Oregon left a storage box on our driveway. We are not able to get to our house to begin unpacking. The Salem office dragged their feet for over 3 month with repairs until the Insurance told us, no more money for the hotel. Tried to reach Rich and Jay, theyre out on the beach enjoying the summer. While we have to park several streets away and carry our luggage in 105F degree weather.

Nice to know what the problem was and nice to have it taken care of. Good service.
