This is the longest I have ever stuck with any exercise routine (almost a full year). It’s so much fun and there are people of all ages and all skill levels. Everyone is welcome here and all the coaches are encouraging. Before this I had never even thrown a punch. It’s a great workout!

When I first entered Steeles karate and kickboxing in August I was 279 pounds. I had no real experience in exercise and none in boxing. But thanks to the positive environment and helpfulness of the coach John Olivera and his team of assistant coaches Im now down to 231 and are learning a practical fitness skill in the form of boxing. All the classes from karate to kickboxing are designed for every age group and every level of experience. From kids to adults, to no experience to several years of experience. Everyone always feels welcome and the people at the gym, both coaches and students start to feel like true friends who just want to help you get better. Strongly recommend anyone looking for a great workout in a great environment.

I have been a student for 14 years and cannot recommend Steeles Karate highly enough! Fantastic Karate and kickboxing classes for all ages and experience levels!

The instructor, John Olivera, is an outstanding karate and martial arts instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience. He is wonderfully adept and handling successfully a class ranging from 5 years old to 76 years old! He truly has a gift and I highly recommend him to anyone, male or female who really wants to learn the way of karate.John Uggen

Dont recommend this place. Be careful when you sign the contract!! The instructor is MEAN to kids and keep asking MORE money!!
