This was my first time visiting this nail salon. Tony took great care of my nails!! He removed the old set replacing them with beautiful gel nails that look natural. I have gotten so many compliments which is rare because I keep my nails short & simple. I will definitely come back and also recommend Happy Day Nails.

First time visiting and the final product was great! There was a bit of a wait, even though I had a appointment, but it wasnt terrible and my nails are totally worth it!! Cindy was awesome 👌

Sit down and grab yourself a drink, girl, before reading this review.Today, I called this salon to make an appointment for this evening and had the woman on the phone take my name and number, giving me an appointment time of 6pm. I show up right on time and am directed to wait, which is no problem, this is a common thing in salons. Though, I waited nearly 40 mins before someone decided to finally acknowledge me and help me, asking me twice if I had made an appointment.I sit down and show the woman the state of my nails, nothing crazy, I have tips and gel on top of them. All I wanted was a fill and colour. That colour was light blue and a blue ombre fade on four of my fingers. I showed her a photo of exactly what I wanted and she said she could do it easily. She even had little butterfly glitter pieces just like in the photo and was excited to use them. I started getting a little nervous once I saw how thick she was applying the powder on my nails and then realized she wasnt using gel powder, like I had asked. oh well, whatever. Im not from Sacramento and desperately needed my nails done so really, my standards werent that high. She left the nails with the ombre incredibly thick, not filing much of the fibreglass (thats what she used instead of gel) down at all and leaving them thick and heavy- we all know that look, its not a good one. The ombre isnt really one at all. It just goes from a chunk of blue to nothing with 4734 butterflies applied to try and cover up the mess. The regular blue gel polish she applied is awful. Its so so streaky and theres lumps in it. She did two thin coats but you can still see through to my natural nails. The colour isnt opaque on any of them. Now for the best part. While she was filing my nails with the drill, she hit my cuticle. Which bled. A LOT. There was no pain but there was an awful lot of blood. What did she do to stop this? well, she didnt remove any of the fiberglass dust from my finger, she didnt spray alcohol to the area. Instead, she pulled a dirty towel out of a drawer (that I had just seen her wiping a table with) and wiped my finger. She then continued to sand the nail while it bled all over the station and the drill (which was never cleaned after, by the way). She then applied NAIL GLUE to the wound to try and stop it from bleeding anymore. At this point I just wanted to leave. My nails didnt look how I asked for them to look and I was bleeding everywhere in the middle of a pandemic. After all of the polish was on and my nails were dry she then used a cuticle oil around my nails, which, would have been nice had I not had a wound that was bleeding on one of my nails. SHE PUT THE OIL ON MY BLEEDING WOUND AND THEN PUT THE BRUSH BACK INTO THE BOTTLE. Enjoy my blood, whoever gets that next. Im including a photo of what I wanted and what I ended up with. You can see the cut, the oil on it. The thin, patchy and lumpy polish. Ugh, Im so disappointed. She didnt even add the glitter around the butterflies! xDOverall, this experience was not great. Clearly. She was rushing, she was preoccupied with everything else going on in the salon. She just didnt do a good job. They are NOT properly equipped to handle the proper precautions for COVID. I saw ONE nearly empty bottle of sanitizer in the entire salon. Also I dont know why no one else has mentioned this but the location is sketchy af. Ladies, dont stick around this area by yourself.

Happy Day Salon&Spa is an AMAZING salon. Everyone who works there is so nice and welcoming. They do a fantastic job with nails,feet and waxing. A one stop shop! You go there you’ll leave feeling even more beautiful than you already are 💕💕💕

Nicely done by Kim I got a fill n a pedicure which was by far the best pedicure I’ve had in all my years. They’re very clean, up to standards with pretty good pricing. A huge variety of nail polish, dipping powders and Special Services. Coming to Happy Day Nails & Spa you will leave with great pleasure:)

It’s my first time here and I’m currently getting a pedicure and I have to say I like the place and the guy name Devin that just started working here 2weeks is very friendly and good and patient with doing my feet. He was very conversational. He even helped me get the right blue color that I wanted. I definitely would come back to get my feet done again. Price that I paid was affordable and worth the price!

They did our nails but when it came time to pay, they wouldnt take our credit card they said the machine was broken, but we had just watch them take someone elses card.Then we told them we didnt have cash they got kinda mad, but then after trying to make us pay in cash they finally took the card.Mind you the was no sign that said cash only.

I came to Happy Day Nail & Spa for the most relaxing pedicure I had ever got. Devin is amazing & I am very happy I decided to stop. The foot massage was fantastic I mean not having a man & all I must say Devin did his thing.!.! This is officially my new nail shop.

I came in with my little sister and didn’t have to wait that long to get seated once I got seated I got my full set done so fast and it was so neat and so pretty I have no complains about it. I had Megan she was so nice and funny and such a good attitude my little sister got her manicure it was so cute and quick and it was such good prices and she works with you I definitely recommend coming here I know I will be coming again !!

Decent work but def over priced.

I showed up maybe half an hour before closing and was there until well past closing and they still did my nails when they couldve sent me away and THIS IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE PLACE TO GET MY NAILS DONE! Megan does incredible work and shes so nice :) my nails did cost like 70 bucks but they look better than everybody elses nails so its totally worth it lol

Nils was two different sizes someone stand Sam was Hella thick very unprofessional gave for other people the same appointment time as me 6 PM when I get here don’t guessing on my appointment time did you get seen until 705 and she was complaining about their are closing I recommend nobody to go to this nail shop your nails break off within two days

I brought my girlfriend here to do nails while driving back from Lake Tahoe, I found this place on Google. My girlfriend want to have 3D Design and ombré.To make my girlfriend happy I have search online. Then I came across happy Day Nails & Spa with a lots of colors and design. I took my girlfriend soon to be my wife there to have her Nails done. We was so please and happy, especially my girlfriend. they offer water and soda while we waited. The service are outstanding, the place are clean and funny environment. While my girl have her nails done by technician, I think her name is Megan, and had my pedicure done by VY is very nice and professional.Very sanitize Spa,I love it and we will be back.

2nd time Ive come here and they cant do a simple waxing. First time was told it was 15 minutes wait ended up waiting 30 had to leave for work. I wont be coming back

The nails are lumpy, it doesn’t look good at all, still some of the color from the nails I previously had underneath and on the side, said they had the color I asked for but they did not it’s totally different, told me I could only do two coats no more than that, and charged for coffin even thought my mom wasn’t charged for hers. Don’t know how to do designs. Not worth $28.00

I was very disappointed after the 2nd time going to them. He wouldnt finish my dissign on my nails. I wont be going back. Looking for a nail shop close to me.
