Will not go back to this location in Ruston Louisiana I went in told them driver back tire needs fixed and they pulled it in and a1hr or so later after I been sitting outside looking at my van for this hole time for them to take a tire off and off the rim to put it back on and say it is fixed clearly when the person got in my van on the dash it shows the air pressure in all tires and the driver back tire still at 23psi in it like it was when I drove up why would I say any other tire but the almost flat one but they owe me a tire change or repair after they charged the fleet card just saying use common sense my guy do work on a tire holding strong at 36psi and this is a company vehicle the picture was taken after they said its done your all good

Called before stopping in to get a tire plugged. I Was told it wouldn’t take long. Arrived and spoke to Todd he said it would be about 30 minutes took over an hour and a half. Todd was very nice but should work on his timing and keep employees working rather than talking to each other.

When my car died on the interstate next to Ruston on our trip from TX to FL, we had it towed to these guys to look at - The Owner, Neal, talked with me about my car and one of his mechanics helped me out (skipping his lunch break to do so) - they found that our cars engine was destroyed, and spent extra time to help us in getting back on our way to FL. GREAT customer service, and friendly people at this place. I would recommend them to anyone based on my experience there.

Had a flat in the ice and snow and didn’t have a jack in my truck. The shop had a service truck to my location in less than ten minutes. The service technician was excellent. He was friendly and extremely helpful. Had my truck back on the road in no time. Walpole will definitely be the first place I call the next time I need tires!

Without hesitation they quickly put my car on a hoist to check it out. I didnt write down anyones name but there were 3 supervisors? And 3-4 mechanics? Bought tires online from Discount Tire and they were supposed to arrive at my house on March 23, 2020.March 27 rolled around and I still had not received my tires. So I called the manager at the Discount Tire store that had shipped them and he said they showed to be delivered, but someone named “M.Walpole” had signed for them. Apparently the delivery driver made a mistake and delivered the tires to Walpole Tire instead of my house. It should be noted that both my address and Walpole Tire both begin with “511” and are both in Ruston.At this point, I was wondering why Walpole would not have attempted to contact me about the tires, seeing as how my name, address and phone number were on the shipping receipt that is stuck to each tire.I was out of town for work until April 3, 2020, and never once got a call from Walpole Tire about the tires that they had illegally signed for, and were illegally in possession of. So, today I finally went over to Walpole Tire and asked about my tires. This is how the conversation went.Associate: “Can I help you?”Me: “I believe I had some tires accidentally shipped here and someone signed for them?”Associate: “The Michelin’s?”Me: “Yes sir.”Associate: “Back up to that first bay there.”Me: “Okay.”I then back up to the bay and he rolls out my tires, I load them up and sarcastically say “I appreciate it.” To which there was no response.Now, I can’t help but wonder: Were they really going to just wait until I hunted down my tires that they knowingly signed for? Or were they going to wait until enough time passed that they thought they could just inventory the tires and turn my misfortune and their dishonesty into a profit? If not, I would expect at least an apology for the inconvenience or mistake or something-anything! I can’t say for certain the intention. I’ll let anyone reading this post be the judge of that.I love supporting local, honest businesses. The main reason I ordered from Discount Tire is because it was for a company truck, and my company had a fleet discount with Discount Tire. Either way, this does give me pause when considering whether or not to do any future business with Walpole Tire.

Went here for 2 commercial truck tires salesman was nice and friendly and they got started right away. i left and came back about 1 hour later to pick up my tires and when i looked at my aluminum wheels they had scratched both my wheels and then they put mud and muddy water on my wheels so they could say scratches was already there because there is mud in the scratches. my wheels was so clean you did not even need gloves to handle them. so went i brought this to there attention before i left the first salesman kyle said they would take care of it and before i could get back home another salesman calls and said they did not scratch my wheels and was not going to do nothing about it . these wheels are very expensive and i am very disappointed that these people would not own up to there workers mistakes. i would not recommend anyone to take their nice wheels to these people.

I am extremely happy to say that Walpole Tire & Service is a top notch place to bring in work. I called in for my daughters alternator, they did a diagnose on it and gave me options as far as even doing warranty on the bad new alternator I purchased and installed 3 months prior in NM. About ten years ago I was on a road trip with my dodge truck and camper when my rear axle blew a seal. Great! Here I am fifteen hundred miles from home and I need a good shop. Did some searching on the web and came up with Walpole tire. Excellent choice! Great shop!! Wish I had them for my shop. You guys and gals in Ruston are lucky to have these guys. Danny and the crew went over and above great service for my 22 year-old daughter! She had 2 tires blow out in Arcadia as she was on her way from Oklahoma to Florida for a summer of ministry. I worked from OK to find a place, and Danny couldnt have been nicer. It was 4:30, they close at 5, and they waited for her to slowly make her way up I20. Love the family-owned touch! Walpole tires has taken care of my tires a few times when I find myself in Northern Louisiana. The service has always been welcoming, informative and honest. I know virtually nothing about tires, but that does not stop me from doing homework on the tires Im about to buy. Usually a quick google search and Ill call two places back home. Prices are competitive. There are all kinds of service perks to buying tires with them. They are a Goodyear carrier, so that means something. Also, they are pretty fast. I dont clock them, but I find I have not burned half a day taking care of my car. In short, use them. Solid operation.

Having tire trouble on I 20 on Monday June 12. Made it to Ruston late so started calling around looking for a new tire . Everyone said they would have to order the tire and it wouldnt be in until Wednesday. Not good! Jay Walpole came up with the solution to get us on the road.sold us a used tire to get us to Jackson Mississippi where we could get a tire. He even called ahead to make sure Big 10 Tire would have the tire when we arrived. Were in and out of Jackson in 30 minutes. Saved us an extra day on the road. Mixed feelings... My first time up here was great, but this time my tire dealer had an awful attitude and acted like I was annoying him.I just didnt know my tire size, so I needed him to check before I bought tires. From that point on I felt a tension between us.

Had a flat which I was told would take 45 mins to repair. After the tire was fixed I sat for another 45 mins waiting on them to put my tire back on and put my spare up. After 45 mins I left because I don’t have an hour and a half to wait on a 15 min job.
