Best place for service. They go over your vehicle with a fine tooth comb, they even crawled underneath and checked my spare for me. Clean bathroom but terrible coffee, I didnt come for the coffee, you cant miss using this service.......I was back in today, sometimes management or employees change but this service hasnt. as always, awesome service.

This was my second visit to SpeeDee and I received the same excellent service as I did on my first visit. The employees were personable and professional on both occasions. The staff provided assistance with my walker upon arrival ( retrieving it from the car)as well as my departure (placing it back in my car). Their thoughtfulness was really appreciated.On this visit, I had an oil change and 2 additional services. The 2 additional services were unexpected, however; everything was completed in a timely manner and within the timeframe quoted.The facility is pleasant and clean- looks good inside as well as out.Hats off to SpeeDee!

I been going here for oil changes for s little over a year, never had a problem until now. After a routine oil change, pulling off I could smell a burning smell but assumed it was only a oil spill. A week later smell is worst, I see a steady stream of oil coming from underneath my car. I took it back, saw several tech gathered around my car and was told that their was no leak. I was told to bring it back the following week so I did. He checked the oil level, added oil but again told me he saw no leak. Took it back a third time explaining to him what I saw and I was told I may possibly have a oil gasket leak.Bad experience for me and have lost my business.

False advertising today. No speed in their Saturday staff. All look to be just out for quitting time. They taking smoke breaks and all working on 1 car at a time. Saturday afternoon a D day for a place like this. Keep this up they won’t have to worry about customers coming back. I have come here for 2 years loyally but not sure I will be back.

They fixed it free of charge with true apologies and guarantee on the fix. Great location to this company.

I was able to get my oil changed fast with no issues what-so-ever. They informed me of lights that were out and offered to replace them. Came back later and they were also fixed a belt that was about to crack in my car. They offer student discounts on oil changes. They have coupons for just about everything else. They are probably the most affordable place in Ruston. I would recommend them to everyone.

This place is the best place I have ever been to for an oil change. The people here are very friendly, kind and caring. They dont try to over sell you or pressure you to buy extra things. I will only be coming to this place for now on.

Absolutely the friendliest people to do business with. Ive been using them for 2 1/2 years, and Ive never had a problem, until I went to change my own oil after moving out of state. Apparently, they use a torque wrench, and tighten the oil drain plugs between 18-22 ft-lbs, which turned out to be entirely too tight to remove with a long-handled socket wrench. It doesnt help that my vehicle is a Ford, and the oil drain pan assembly is all aluminum. So now I have a stripped drain plug that wont budge by all means necessary i.e., vice grips, blow torch heat applied, drill tap, etc. It WILL NOT budge. So, Im having to purchase a new oil pan from Ford which runs around $100 and some change. I called SpeeDee and spoke to the owner, and he claims, [Ive] been doing oil changes for 17 years. and went on to accuse me of tightening the drain plug more versus loosening it. I told the Ford dealer parts manager this, and he said, Well, hes been doing oil changes incorrectly for 17 years. Apparently, the washer prevents the drain plug from having to be tightened so much. From what Im reading online, and what the Ford parts dealer told me, the drain plug should be hand-tightened, and then maybe a quarter turn or a bit more with the socket should do the trick. My drain plug was metal-to-metal with the oil pan. No gap was left where the washer should have been. It must be squished. Like I said, theyre friendly people, but after dealing with this hassle, I simply cant recommend. And I didnt appreciate the accusation of turning the plug the wrong way to loosen it.

They do a great job with my oil changes. Very fast and thorough. A bit pricy but its worth the peace of mind that the job is being done right

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! A truck was carrying junk in front of us going westbound on I-20 from Jackson MS when some of it fell out. struck our car and punctured a tire. We pulled in to SpeeDee Oil by chance and they were on it right away. Got us repaired and on our way to Houston in totally less than an hour. Sorry I dont live in the Ruston area because I highly recommend them and would use them all the time!! Thanks to you and all your staff--incredible to do business with!! You really should get 10 stars!!

Such a rip off. I asked them for an oil change. I was originally quoted $62.00, by 2 different people. A few minutes later a guy comes in and tells me it’s going to be over $100 bc it takes an extra quart of oil and what he says is a “special” oil filter. Yes my car takes 6 qts instead of 5, but it does not take any kind of “special” filter. I can buy everything I need to change my oil at walmart for $30. There’s no reason for it to cost that much at an oil change place. I left and went to chevron on tech drive where I have never had a problem. Never again will I go to speedee.

Its not often that I get to write a good review concerning a mechanic, so I am super excited that I can do this for Speedee oil change. I was referred to Speedee by Kirbows my usual go to place for tires and what nots in Ruston, well they couldnt help me so they sent me there. My car that never leaked oil, begin to leak oil soon after my first Super Wal-Mart in Ruston oil change. After attempting to give Wal-Mart a shot (with my supervision) at fixing the problem, only to leave with the same problem I looked elsewhere. When I came to Speedee not only did they quickly address my problem, but I appreciate the fact that they didnt charge me anything for what was explained to me to be a simple solution, as the bolt over the filter wasnt tightened enough. They were very professional, quick, and my car is once again leak free. I prefer to have my husband change my oil but after an incident at work he was not in a position to do it, but if I require another oil change and he is not able to do it for me then Speedee will be the place I go. Thanks again!

This place is hands down the friendliest place in town.The kindness of the employees and the informiviness of the techs was superb!I went in for an oil change and not only did they do the change, they checked my system, made sure I had plenty of fluids and that my filters were clean!!!They even dusted my belts and refilled my wiper fluid for me.My favorite thjng about this visit was that the customer service was OFF THE HOOK! :)First I called the office and Mike answered and told me that if I came in he would work hard to go ahead and work on my car!! Once I got there he did just what he said! He pulled my car around and got to work! Then Andrea came in to give me a thorough run down of how the service will go and made sure that anything that needed to be clarified was.They also let me know of the price BEFORE they started working on my car! So if I had questions about it, they were able to answer!!Then Eric, the kind mechanic went to work on my vehicle, he updated me on my systems and listened to all of my questions and even gave me suggestions that didnt involve spending more money!He was very informative during the service and made sure that I understood everything.After the service was complete they cashed me out and gave me not one, but TWO discounts!!! My total was almost 20% off!!To conclude this was really the best service I have had at an auto shop in soooo long!!I would highly recommend my friends and family investing in their services!Thank you guys!!

Had a oil change done but now two weeks later not a drop of oil in my truck and its not drivable. Called store and was told to put oil in it and bring it to them. Did put oil in and wont stay drunk and oil light wont go off. Went to store, and manager feels like they done everything right and is telling me to bring it in, but how when its not drivable....will never use them again!!! After this incident now everyone is telling me about the vehicles they have messed up by not servicing them properly....
