This is the best dental experience Ive ever had. Doc is extremely thorough, thoughtful, and hands on. Ive yet to have a dentist take the time to explain each step of his process from the beginning to post op care. Staff is inviting, punctual, and hospitable. I honestly cant recommend Red Bud dental enough!

Everyone at Red Bud Dental are so thoughtful and considerate of your dental needs, and more importantly you as a person. They are very personable and make you feel comfortable every visit. Never a problem there!

I have gone to them for two cleanings and they were okay. Very quiet and didnt hold conversations which is fine, but I just went there again because I was having gum/tooth pain. I showed the dentist exactly where on the gums I hurt, but they were focused on the tooth. They took x-rays and pictures and concluded I had a crack in my tooth that needed a crown. I could get a crown, use a mouth guard and wait it out or I could just wait for a root canal and crown. I asked for the dentists medical advice and she said I could CHOOSE either of those options. Um okay. So I asked for the cost of the crown. I was told my insurance covered 50% with a $50 deductible so my portion was $764 and insurance would cover $381. That makes no sense. The lady giving me the numbers said that since the freeze her computer has been giving them weird numbers so she would try to see why the numbers were off. ODD. So I said no thank you and went to a different dentist. They did x-rays and pictures and saw NO ISSUES with my teeth. The crack is a normal crack line that doesnt need anything done to it. She then checked my gums and found the culprit...a popcorn kernel wedged in my gums! I did NOT NEED a crown... simply help getting a kernel out. Based on this experience, I do not recommend this dentist.

This is my first time at this dental office and I am more than satisfied. I’ve been looking for a dental office since I moved to the Austin area 4 years ago. The office was clean and check in was smooth and easy. Dr. Tran and Ryan were meticulous and gentle all throughout treatment. Martha, the office manager was exceptional. She was very kind and welcoming, as well as taking her time explaining insurance benefits, treatment plans, and answering any questions I had during my visit. Overall, I’m content with my visit and have found my new dental practice.

I had a great first time visit here, Cullen gave me the paperwork I had to fill out and highlighted the items as well, while offering me a water bottle. So far so good.Then I get to meet Oni, who Im assuming is the assistant and she was very sweet, then I got to Dr. Tran who off the bat just had good vibes. Usually when I get my teeth cleaned, my mouth gets very watery and with her, she knew how to work around my mouth like a 6th sense. Overall, I had an amazing experience and was out the door in less than an hour!! Definitely going back here again!

First time there. My 8-year-old had one filling done and 1 & 1/2 days later it came out while flossing before bed and kid is in pain. Will have to wait till morning to speak with someone. Also the hygienist had to ask 2 of her co-workers, at my request, to properly cover their nose with their face mask before coming near my son.Update: after agreeing with my insurance company to reverse the claim, so the filling would not be charged to inurance and I could take him somewhere else and insurance cover it...they did not. They even kept my deductible for dental work, when it should have been refunded. Refused to take phone calls from me or my insurance company after they found out I would not be returning there. THIEVES...and during a pandemic.

By far the best dentist I have ever been to. I take care of my teeth, but I have terrible genes! I’m at the dentist often for a variety of reasons.THE biggest reason I keep coming back is because Dr. Ochoa and her staff are amazing. I have intense anxiety at the dentist, and they help calm me down. They talk me through what’s happening, make sure I’m comfortable, remind me to breathe, etc. They are so kind, and so much more than just dentists.I feel valued as a client and a person here!

Staff are incredible❣️ Dental office nice and clean. Highly recommendable.They had a Take Home Whitening Kit to try.I tried it for 2weeks.It came with instructions, mouth guard and Cooling Teeth Whitening gel in a syringe. I heated up the mouth guard so it could moled to my teeth. In the instruction said to brush your teeth first. So I brush my teeth for 2 minutes (my toothbrush is timed in 30 second intervals. Once I finished brushing my teeth I put a layer of the Cooling Teeth Whitening gel inside the top and bottom mouth guard. I put the guard in my mouth. Instructions stated 20-30mins. I had it in my mouth for 30mins. Once’s the time was up I took the top and bottom guard out. I brush my teeth for 30 seconds. I saw Instant results my teeth looked whiter however, my jaw got locked from the process. I did this before I when to bed. In the morning my jaw went back to normal. So I stopped using the guard for the first week. I just started putting the gel on my tooth brush (2mins) Every other day because I have sensitive teeth. After the first week I went to the Dentist Office and told them what happened to my jaw. They said it could been from me biting too hard on the guard. Then I told them I been putting the gel on my brush instead of the guard. They said not to do that because the gel isn’t suppose to be on your gums and tongue. So they gave me another Cooling gel to try. I tried it again for a week trying not the bite down too hard on the guard. And I did one guard at a time. The process took a bit longer but it was worth it. Also the instructions stated not to drink any dark liquid when doing the bleaching process. And I recommend not doing it every day especially if you have sensitive teeth. Every other day works well for me. Try it out😁Thank you,Red Bud DentalP.SY’all you awesome❣️

Dr. Ochoa and the Red Bud Dental staff are amazing! My husband and I both had some challenging issues to deal with, but this crew went above and beyond to take care of us. Shari and Allyson (the hygienists) were both friendly, informative, gentle (a real issue for me), and very thorough. Dr. Ochoa was extremely knowledgeable, and very willing to do whatever it took to resolve my issues. Shes a dentist I actually enjoyed seeing! Even Tara in the front office was warm and welcoming. Getting braces is the optimal solution for my teeth misalignment.About 2 weeks ago, I went in because I found that I had a small chip at the bottom of my right, front tooth. During the exam, Dr. Ochoa stated that there was a small chip in the left one, too! She repaired both teeth. However, the right tooth did not take. So, I returned a few days later on 10/17, for a re-do. This time, during the process of discussing the different repair options, she mentioned that her assistant, M., had suggested filing down both teeth to eliminate the chips, which I had also thought about!I decided on that option and Dr. Ochoa did a super job! Im pretty pleased! Thanking God for all good things!

I called to try to catch up on my cleanings ‘cause you know, Covid... but I found out Dr Ochoa doesn’t work here anymore, so now I’m gonna have to find a new dentist.

I had a root canal done here 1.5 year ago and i was with a different dr due to them not opening on saturday found out the root canal they had done had a margin and my tooth started a decay due to that margin. will contact them for this soon as labor day is over.

Dr. Lisa Ochoa and her staff are the best! They take such good care of my family. We have never been able to find a dentist we liked until we found Red Bud Dental. The office staff makes it easy to schedule and change appointments. The office is open later hours to make scheduling easier. They always get us in and take excellent care of us.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Ochoa was very good. I felt she was competent in her work, sensitive to my comfort during the procedure and counseling with me as to the best course of treatment. They have my high recommendation. I will be returning for extensive dental work.

I was really impressed with my dental hygienist, she was very good and very gentle. I also like Dr Ochoa. This was my first visit and I have a very favorable impression of her. My wife also really likes them so that’s a big plus!

This place was absolutely wonderful! From the first phone call to leaving after the procedure it was all fantastic! The lady that answered the phone was so nice I think her name was Tamra or something like that (I am not good with names) She felt my frustration about having to find someone to do a root canal for my husband right away when we were unprepared for it. The VA usually covers all of his medical costs but Dental they do not do. We called around to 30 different dentist to get pricing and availability and we were getting crazy quotes and unrealistic time frames for a person who was in bad pain. (Yes you can blame us for wanting it fast and waiting so long that it got to this point we know we should have been proactive, but we werent) This wonderful office got us in the same day we called did an exam and was ready to schedule him the next day! What I was so amazed with was the amount of help they gave us on the bill and that they had multiple different companies they work with to help finance what we could not cover out of pocket right now. I think my over all favorite part was that they were able to use their 3D printer to make his crown on the spot! They did his root canal in a little under 2 hours and printed his crown in under 15 minutes! This was amazing knowing we would not have to come back in 2 weeks to get the prefab one put on. My husband was nervous and his anxiety was flaring thinking about having to get this done and he said that everyone there made a huge effort to make him feel comfortable and relaxed! The service here was the best honestly I have never been to a better place! They will have our business from here on!

Being a senior (65+), a resident in five States before relocating to Texas, and a Red Bud patient for over five years, I can honestly say that I have never had better treatments! Dr. Ochoa is a consummate professional and the facilities are first-class! Because a major part of my own work experience was in customer relations, I can enthusiastically attest that the entire staff epitomizes personal service. My wife and I are very glad that we found them!!

First Visit was OK. office is small and can use some cleaning up. Pretty Friendly front desk. MA who assisted me was pretty bland, not a friendly smiling professional, and she had just started about a day or so ago. Dr Hsu was nice and pretty much straight forward, received by xrays and results were accurate, then at time of check out to extract 2 teeth with insurance and their dental treatment plan was over $600!! just for 2 !!, that was a bit overboard for me . So with that being said, 3 stars for an average office.

Dr. Ochoa is a delight. Her straightforward no nonsense manner is much appreciated and helpful. She is the first dentist I have actually enjoyed seeing and Im 59 yrs old.

Okay. Let me walk you through my experience. First I walk in and Tara was the first person I meet. She was awesome. I told her i was an Army Veteran and she pulled out all of the stops to make sure I was taken care of. Not only because I was a Vet, but because I feel like that is her personality and that made for great customer service. Than there was Megan who took care of me before hand and gave me a room with two televisions and my favorite cooking show. She was awesome and lets not forget the doc, who wouldnt let me leave without taking care of my teeth even with the billing issue that occurred. If my next appointment wasnt 6months from now, Id be a regular haha. Love this place and the customer service.

Let me tell you, I dont like any medical staff ever. They make me nervous. So when I came in to have a small crack filled and they said I needed not one but two crowns, I got that bad feeling like when you realize youre at a shady auto mechanic.Glad to say I couldnt of been more wrong. The front desk person went above and beyond to work with my insurance, so I could afford the work! Then the experience itself went as well as a double crown can go. My smile looks night n day different, and I will definitely be back.Friendly staff, top of the line equipment, and a lovely dentist.

Recently moved to Georgetown but well continue to go to Redbud Dental because they are wonderful. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!

Update on 10/2020:Sad to report but, Dr Ochoa is no longer with Red Bud Dental. My family and I are devastated. The new staff is very nice and helpful. New female dentist is just okay.Nitrous oxide is also available for about a $25 fee. Some dentists do not have this available. I had no idea that is was a thing. Found out the hard way.Appointment reminders are fantastic. They will work with you and insurance companies for payment options.

I am so glad that Dr. Ochoa’s office is an In-network carrier! Hands down THE best dentist that I have been to. Entire staff is friendly and cordial. Dr. Ochoa takes the time to go over your X-rays and discuss the best plan of action for your situation. I actually look forward to my next visit!

I cant say enough good things about this dentist office. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. My son has been terrified of dental offices and had yet to even sit in a examination chair. This was his FIRST cleaning and Shari (hygienist) put him at complete ease. He had quite a bit of build up and she did an extremely thorough job on his cleaning. Dr. Ochoa came in and made my son smile/laugh and made this experience so enjoyable my five year old has been talking to everyone about how fun the dentist was. I received 2 emails confirming an appointment so I called to let them know whoever they are trying to contact is not receiving their emails because I have never heard of this place, and I dont even live in TX...Audra proceeded to ask me for personal information to which I kindly replied, I am not in your system, nor do I need to be because you have the wrong email address - wrong person. Can you please remove my personal email address from your system? She was VERY rude and hung up on me - I am sure their dental service is great, but wow, customer service could use some help! I didnt have to call to correct their mistake, but I figured I would help this place get the appointment confirmation to the correct person. No apology, no thank you, just a hang up like I was wasting her time. Consumers take email/identity security very seriously these days and this was handled very poorly. One piece of advice for Audra: If you dont like your job, quit - this place would be better off having someone answer their phones that doesnt sound like everyday is the worst day of their life.

Had an emergency and they fit me in same day. They couldnt get to me very quickly, but everyone, including the receptionist kept checking on me to make sure I was OK and give me updates. Tooth got pulled and my relief was heaven sent. Continue to go back for my follow ups and cannot be more happy with the level of service the Dr and staff provide. They are very patient and put up with my anxiety of being in a Dentist chair.

Just had my first visit today and everyone was so nice. The assistant made sure that I was okay while she was taking my xrays, especially because on my papers I put that Ive had horrible experiences at previous dentists. Just a good warm inviting feeling here.

If I could I would give them half a star. They are unprofessional and do not do their jobs well. I would never go back. Dr Ochoa was extremely nice and took her time (hence the half a star)

Ive gone to this office several times. I would recommend this office to everyone. And I hate the dentist! I went in for an emergency and ended up getting a complete exam and the doctor did same day treatment. The environment is so comfortable. I had no wait time. Everyone is very friendly and I had the privilege of watching ESPN the whole time.

I had the absolute WORST dental expirence at this establishment. Giving 1 Star is a stretch! Would not recommend to anyone. I felt completely belittled by the office manager after she told me, “I had a terrible attitude and had bad communication skills.” She also went on to blame every problem I encountered with the establishment on my own “stupidity.” These problems included several issues with scheduling appointments online/over the phone/in person, having to argue with staff about billing, aggressive attitude from staff, and so many others. This repetitively rude and immature behavior from the front office staff and office manager was the last straw for my family. We will not be returning to this awful establishment and will make sure none of our friends and family have to go through this outrage.

Front Office is too rude- talk to Tierra about account, at the time of appointment end of Dec, estimate given for 100 around and paid, now got a bill for 515. when i called she admitted their mistake but she said patient is responsible even though their mistake, no discount and installments allowed. Her behavior was rude and bad. Be careful on account payment between estimate and actual.

This is a long one. I am normally not a review leaving person, but, after the experience I had I would never recommend anyone ever going here and truly hope that I can help someone making a decision about their dental needs. I had explained that I don’t have dental insurance but have a tooth infection and need a molar pulled. I was initially told that the X-Rays and visit would be $xx.xx and up to $xxx.xx to remove the tooth. I get squeezed in urgently because I have severe pain its keeping me up at night. I need antibiotics to clear the infection and painkillers to make it through a night of sleep.The receptionist was on her phone for 5 minutes before even acknowledging I was in the office, saying “Yeah, I gotta let you go so I can check in a patient..” I get asked for my updated insurance info at least 2x, which I had to explain that I didn’t have. I’m told that the cost of the X-Rays and visit will be more then I was told the day before. The Dr. takes me back shortly after. Her assistant takes X-rays of just the one side that I had told them I was having issues using a bite wing device. This is basically jammed into your mouth and placed against the inside of your jaw. This was extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant.The Xrays come back showing an abscess forming under the back molar and a cavity in the tooth beside it. I explained again that it was painful and wanted it removed, I am taking up to 30 Advil’s a day to dull the earth shattering pain in my face. The Dentist tells me no, she didn’t want to remove the tooth because there is a chance she can save it with a root canal. Oh, and I would need a root canal for the other tooth as well. I tell the Dentist, that’s too expensive (upwards of $2 - 3.5 THOUSAND DOLLARS per tooth). I just want the tooth pulled. I am outright denied treatment. I nearly begged the dentist to reconsider. I can afford $400 for an extraction, but not $3,500.00. This was her response, “I know it’s hard to know what to do sometimes, but I won’t remove a salvageable tooth. Keep taking Advil for the pain.” She writes me a script for antibiotics and leaves the room.I ask the receptionist to send me my xrays and she says she emailed them to me. I don’t receive them. I call and leave a voicemail. No response. I email, no response. I leave a message on FB… NO RESPONSE. I call and leave another voicemail and finally get my xrays a week later. After having a week to think about my options (remember extreme pain makes people a bit cranky) I responded back to the email asking for costs of care and finance options. That was a week ago…. And they NEVER RESPONDED. It is completely clear to me that as soon as they realized that I would not be spending several thousand dollars at their office, they had no interest in my well-being.

Dr. Ochoa has done extensive work over the last six months, including five extractions and two root canals, the second a long, difficult procedure. There was very little bleeding or swelling post-op, and almost no pain. I had had some bad experiences with dentistry in the past which contributed to severe anxiety about dental work. That anxiety is greatly reduced due to the good experience Ive had with Dr. Ochoa and her staff.

Great experience with the whole team! Just moved out here from California and now have one less thing to worry about.

People there were nice and professional.
