I got my state inspection here. These guys were very knowledgeable and professional. Made super easy and took no time at all. Notified me my power steering fluid was low and toped it off for me. I called two days before the weekend, explained to them had tire sensor that needed replaced. Was told they are slammed but if I drop truck offThey would squeeze me in. And they kept their word! Tire sensor was replaced, warning light out. All is good now!

That was until I realized your establishment offered a first time customer discount of 15% off services, not exceeding $150. Before I agreed to services I had asked about any discounts or offers to Mr. Andy Seibel and he reassured me that your establishment had no current savings offers. I was displeased to discover his dishonesty to make a few bucks rather than make a loyal customer who will continue to bring in service and share my good experience with others.I am open to a resolution.*The add is posted in the in the Round Rock Community Impact. Friday afternoon my AC stopped blowing in my car. I immediately called a national chain, which Id been using for oil changes, and they said they couldnt get to it till next Thursday.With temperatures forecast in the upper 90s the next week, I said thanks but Ill call around.Years ago Id had Austin Automotive in Buda do some repairs for me and was really happy with their service and prices. So I called the one in Round Rock, and Andy told me if I could get it in that day, they could have it done by the end of the following day. I did, and not only did they replace my blower by the end of Saturday, the price was about half what I expected. I really appreciate the work Andy and the guys at the Round Rock location did, and Ill definitely be switching to them for my oil changes and any future repairs.

2021-07-03There are many car shops that do excellent work and take good care of customers. This is one.But this one manages the trick of doing those things WITHOUT the high pressure. Can’t do brakes front and back? Well the back is what’s critical. Let’s do the front next month.Wait, what?!? Helping customers get what’s best for them and their circumstances? That’s more uncommon.The prices seem in line with other places. Maybe a bit less. There’s coupons online to help a bit too.Bottom line, they seem to help ME more than helping their business. So I keep coming back.

These guys are the best. I went in to have a check engine light checked out and after doing the basic version for free and that revealing it was something to do with my cars thermostat, I decided to pay to do the full diagnostics test which revealed an issue with the computer reading system. They fixed it same day and I was able to then get my state inspection done the following Monday with them as well which is the whole reason I was prompted to finally get the check engine light taken care of in the first place.These gentlemen are friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and sincere. I completely trust that their prices and assessments are honest and fair. I tried a different location. I’m not sure exactly what happened with my appointment but when I arrived I was told they didn’t have an appointment for me, even though I received a confirmation email and verified the location. The manager was gracious enough to still get the service done which I appreciate, but I was made to feel very uncomfortable when he chastised an unprofessional employee in front of me. It was a very odd and uncomfortable situation and I honestly probably won’t return to that location.

The service was awesome even when I had to take it back for a recheck because there was still a problem. Everything was taken care of efficiently and in a timely manner. Their customer service is extremely unprofessional, after dropping my car off at 7:30am on a Saturday morning, i hadnt heard anything all day long. Not one update on my vehicle, so i called around 1pm ( they close at 5) Mike answered the phone and told me he would call me back in 10 minutes. So i, of course told them no problem and proceeded to wait for him to call me back. Well 2 more hours went by and i still had not heard anything so i called back to see about my vehicle. I was then told immediately that i needed a new transmission. I was in shock seeing how there was no code or my check engine light was not on. He began to accuse me of laughing at him i wasnt laughing at him at all. I was just in shock. So i found a ride back to their shop to retrieve my car and Mike again asked me why i laughed at him and told me that i was stressing him out !?!? Excuse me ? You just told me i needed a new transmission and accused me of laughing at you sir? I think i was the one who was stressed out. Also when he gave me my car back not only was the check engine light now on, my car had way less power. Needless to say this situation could have gone a lot better if his customer service skills were up to par. I actually did end up needing a new transmission and took it to another place that was way nicer and made me feel a lot better. So because of Mike yall lost that business. Im sure his 40 plus years of mechanical experience is good for vehicles but that lack of customer service experience needs to be addressed.

Mike and his technicians were able to get me in for an oil change and out in time to go work.For questions I had for other services he made sure to explain clearly and understandable .I’ve been with Austin Automotive for 5 years plus and very happy and satisfied with their services.

My 2012 Nissan Sentra was taken to Austins Automotive Specialists #107 located at 1800 South IH35, Round Rock, Texas 78664 on May 11, 2021 for replacement of two front struts and shocks and front wheel alignment. They changes the struts and shocks and their estimated fee was way over Nissan dealer estimation.The car is driven by my 18 year old son back and fort to work onlyAbout a week ago front end of the car making some noises and the two front tires are wearing out faster than rear tires and not evenly. Also I noticed the drive side wheel was kind of loose due to un-ties lower control arm bolt. I had to send the car back to this shop for their work investigation they are denying that this was their fault and dont want deal with it. I think My sons life was in dangerous because of their work.They are asking me for the two truck fee and tell me $25 for each day that the car is there.I am filing a case with my attorney and report this business to BBB and will make them to pay for this. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY BUISNESS.

Best of all, they quoted a fair price. Finding a vehicle expert you can trust can be a challenge. But look not further than Mike and AAS. They will treat you right.

Made appointment for coolant flush. When I arrived 10 minutes early, they were ready. Was told it would be about an hour, and it was. The cost that was quoted was what I paid and the coolant system is working fine. I’ll be back!

These guys take care of my company car and my personal vehicles. They do great work, and I can trust that they will not miss a beat. The only issue I had this last time around was the cost for rear brakes on my Jeep. I asked how much the cost will be for my rear brakes and was told 220-280. I asked if that was the whole price, and that means with labor and tax. But the bill was 411.89. I ask to know the price so that I can budget for the repair/replacement. Otherwise they do great work.

I love Discount Tire. I got new tires Saturday and they recommended Austin Automotive in Round Rock for a wheel alignment. I called right away and they said they can get me in Monday at 7:30.When I got there Monday morning, the manager, Mike Small said I wasnt on the schedule and his alignment guy was not there. He smugly said are you sure you called this place. I showed him the business card Discount Tire gave me and it was the right place. The employee sitting next to him admitted he took my call Saturday.From there the manager stuttered for a minute trying to get out he wouldnt be able to fit me in but would try. I got out of there as fast as I could. I would never allow a business to work on my vehicle with that kind of business practices.Poor customer service.

The A/C in my 2004 Mazda pickup truck was blowing hot air. With the Texas heat approaching, it’s way too hot!! Austin’s Automotive Specialists had already replaced the brakes in the truck with no issues. I stopped in just to have them check it out and with 3 hours they had diagnosed the problem and finished the repair.. top notch service as usual!! Got my car in same day, only about an hour wait for everything I wanted done, oil change, tires rotated, state inspection etc. Didnt try to upsell me on a bunch of things I didnt need. They did exactly what I asked for and didnt try to get me to add on extra services like a lot of places will do. Explained the options of oil again without pressuring me to choose the most expensive option. Called me as soon as my car was ready. Very friendly staff that introduced themselves, welcomed me to this location (as I used to live in Buda and always went to that location). Great service, fast, with a friendly attitude too!

These guys are great. They did everything they could so that my extended warranty finally paid to get my AC fixed. Then they really managed the shop so my car was fixed much faster than I expected.

Excellent and knowledgeable customer service. I brought it originally to fix a cold stud, and they offered other maintenance items (changing a serpentine belt and cabin filter) which always make me skeptical because sometimes these could be a unneeded upsell. But not here. Manager shows you exactly what he is doing and why — and offers HONEST advise. I had to come back because one of the front brakes started making a squeaky sound, which I first thought was from the cold stud or serpentine belt job. However, when I brought it back it turned out it was from an unrelated previous brake job done poorly 6 months ago somewhere else in Iowa. He fixed someone else’s poorly done job and did not charge for part of the work that should’ve been done 6 months when I originally replaced the brakes.

Hello,Just wanted to share my frustrations on you not doing what you are trained to do. I will not recommend and will let eveyone I know how disppointed I am.So brought my Traverse in because my battery kept dying sporadically and had issues with my transmission. Your test said it was my dome light. ( the button pushed in keeps my daylights/headlights on auto).So week later driving to South Texas with my two kids(3 and 5). Guess what my whole car shut down driving down the road at 80mph....My kids and I stranded on side of road, tow truck 2 hrs out, no way to get ventilation into car as on major highway and 99° outside. Also tow truck cant take people bc of COVID.Had to figure out how to get my two kids to rental car place, where to tow my car, and get somewhere safely.Turns out it was my alternator, so had to replace that, and replace my excellent(according to you) battery, pay tow truck, pay rental for week as I had to leave my car at mechanics and couldnt get back for week, and my transmission did end up needing replaced.Had you done your job I wouldnt have had to pay out of pocket for everything as my car under warranty. However, because I am female I must have left my domelight on and do not know when something is wrong with my vehicle.So frustratingy that I trusted you to take care of my car....meaning my family. Luckily no one injured but had this FEMALE not known how to drive it could have injured or killed my family.So happy that you responded....to tell me I dont know what your mechanics told me...or that you did not test my alternator, only my battery.Have a great day!

I have used this location since 2008 and made the mistake of letting someone else change my cars oil because I moved and thought I should try something close to my house. Never again. It cost me money in repairs because of lack of experience. I drive the extra distance because of my trust in the quality of workmanship

Customer service was good; however, I had to go to another service station on my way out of town because that tire that was repaired at Auntins Automotive Specialists was wobbling and needed to be balanced. I was not told this before I left AAS.

Took my old beater car in to check the breaks as there was a lot of grinding... turned out it wasnt the breaks and was in fact the entire power steering set up.. they gave as many discounts as they could but ultimately it wasnt worth spending on my old beater. Bit they were very kind, professional and made sure I understood everything. Thanks guys!

Austin Automotive is the best, I always get a speedy oil change and they always let me know everything up front and give me options along with a checklist of things that are coming up to be renewed i.e tire rotation, filters etc.

We got the master cylinder and brake work done on the truck. Didn’t drive it more than 7 miles away from the shop and noticed lo and behold the brakes still messing up. Conveniently something in the brakes is suddenly not functioning after being test driven. $1300 additional to the $450 in brake work spent. We were also talked to like we had something wrong with our heads and southern hospitality or even being a decent human being doesn’t exist at this shop when they address a concern of their customer. Mike would be the one that should NOT be a manager. Rude and unprofessional. Please stay away from this shop.

Took my new Porsche there because the first place that I usually go to for state inspections for my vehicles made me aware that they dont do state inspections on Porsches.
