I havent taken my car in for maintenance in a very long time (hubbys job) so I just googled a places that did both oil changes and brakes (brakes are nearing end of life but still have some life left) and Daves Ultimate Automotive came up. I set an appointment up online-super easy. Day of went in with my 18 month old who made the lobby her playground. Staff was amazing and played along with her and didnt mind her exploring behind the counter. Only ended up doing an oil change because my brakes are still good after they did an inspection. I love and appreciate the upfront honesty of telling me I didnt need to do brakes just yet. We were pretty much in and out which was a blessing with a hungry toddler. Definitely recommend 👌

A very reliable service center. I got my Texas state inspection done here for my cars.Also had to fix flat (2)on my tire which they declined rightfully became it already had 2 puncture fixes. I used to take my cars to the one in Wells-branch. Recently I moved here so this would be my new one.

I Ford Edge and have taken it to a dealer for service and I dont feel as if the dealer was performing the work that I paid for. Daves has done a fantastic job as my vehicle drives better than it has. I’m gonna be loyal to Dave’s for life!! I happened to schedule an appointment for an inspection in 2019 because they could match my schedule, and I haven’t gone anywhere else for a tune up since. They are so timely and have fantastic customer service. I brought my vehicle in on a Friday to have the brakes worked on, and they told me they may have to keep it through the weekend because they needed some parts that wouldn’t come until Monday. I was in town visiting my parents, and they offered me a loaner car to go home and work during the weekend. I didn’t need it for long however, because they called me at 4:15 that same Friday and told me that they had scoured town for the parts they needed and already done all the brake work! They even gave me a detailed vehicle report with suggestions on what needed to be worked on next, and they weren’t pushy at all about needing the work done. Wonderful crew over here! Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions and go out of yalls way to perform timely service!

They have never worked on my vehicle, but I did go in once to inquire about a estimate and I did not like their attitude. I always take it as a red flag whenever the owner or staff responds to every negative review with a sassy attitude. I understand that it is frustrating to see someone bad mouth your store that you work so hard for however, there is a right and wrong way to go about it. And by the way, it is possible for you to make a mistake; just admit it and apologize; it shows that you are an honest person. Everyone can take notes from Dr. Robin Bethell who is probably the most honest doctor I have ever come across; just read his responses to his negative reviews.

Do not use this shop ever! They sold me a bad catalytic converter and I had to have it replaced several times before receiving a properly functioning one. 2 years later, only a few months after the warranty has expired, it needs to be replaced again. They informed me it is no longer under warranty other than that, offered no help and didnt even ask if it needs to be replaced. The amount of time and money I waisted here is absurd and I will never trust them with another vehicle.

Had a buyers inspection completed on my car before selling it. It was convenient and reasonably quick. Although the lobby is closed due to Covid restrictions I was able to eat lunch next door while they completed it.The report was very detailed with pictures and helpful dialog. Highly recommended 👌Staff were polite with good communication.Weve used Daves for annual inspections too and will be back. Theyve been quick and honest.

I came in to get an alignment done with all the usual apprehensions of having to fight off unnecessary services, special deals, and things they happen to find wrong with the car. Instead, my experience was the exact opposite. They did the alignment, checked everything else related to it and said it was all fine, no need to do anything else, as a matter of fact, they assured me I had at least 40% of brake life remaining. It was a no fuss, professional, prompt, and leave without the worry that you just got shafted type of experience. These are the local places I like finding and sticking to.

I took my vehicle in to have work done on the engine. When I leave I realize my side window isn’t closing all the way. I roll it down to see if that will help, the window slips right down into the door and breaks.When I dropped my car off the window was fine. They’re having me pay to have it fixed while it was broken on their watch.Apparently they’re not liable for damage caused on their watch.I’m giving them two stars because thus far the problems i did take my car in for seem to have been fixed.

These guys had a different take on the situation - Yes I had some expensive repairs but nothing close to what the other shop claimed I needed.Not only did they save me from overpaying for something my car didnt even need, their customer service is unparalleled. I bought a vehicle right at 2yrs ago and Daves has done an excellent job at fixing everything Ive needed with quality. They even have loaner cars if they need to keep it overnight!! Ive spent a few thousand dollars so far and I dont regret a single buck! They were honest when not being able to fix something but recommended a route to getting it fixed and also shot me a few different prices from other shops they trust (that is a rare trait for a mechanic shop). I have a 20yr old vehicle and shes wearing out here and there so when I need her fixed she goes to Daves. They are respectful, friendly, honest, and timely!! Oh and the waiting lobby is very clean and comfortable as well lol.

Went in to get my air conditioner fixed. They completed a diagnostic on my truck and told me I needed a new air conditioning control box. They quoted me $385 for a new one. I found one cheaper so I brought it in and they said that the one I bought must be faulty but they can sell me a new one and have it tomorrow. After spending $260 on labor they tell me they dont know exactly what is causing the issue with the air conditioner because that control box should have worked so it must be something else. Probably one of the doors inside the dash isnt opening. Why they didnt check since I paid $260 in labor fees is beyond me. I am so disappointed with the customer service and the lack of wanting to take care of the customer.

This was the best experience Ive ever had in a car shop. Genuinely friendly. Fair prices. They even went the extra mile to teach me about when to service my car because I wasn’t sure. I made my appointment online which saved a lot of trouble. I only wish they sent out a confirmation email that included the date and time. I would feel better about knowing that my appointment is set on both sides. A reminder email wouldn’t be a bad thing either.

If I could give this place a zero star rating I would. In June 2017, Daves replaced my front rotors and pads, and then 10 months later replaced them again under warranty because they were squealing profusely. Now here we are less than 2 years later and my front rotors are warped, and need to be replaced AGAIN. Daves advised me they would not be replacing the brakes again, because the warranty expired 7 months ago. While I understand that the original warranty expired 7 months ago, the fact that the rotors and pads were replaced with BRAND NEW rotors and pads less than 2 years ago, and already need to be replaced again, is absolutely ludicrous to me.When I called and explained my situation, I was told that the brakes were out of warranty, but to make an appointment and they could look at my brakes, and see what they could do. When I showed up, I was told there was absolutely nothing they would do. They wouldnt work with me on price either. Theres no way of knowing if the brakes were installed correctly, but what I do know, is that I had ZERO issues with my brakes until Daves started working on them.I dont drive my car hard, and Ive put less than 17K miles on it in the last two years. The rotors should not be giving out after 2 years. More importantly, I would expect that Daves would stand behind their work, and in this case they absolutely did not. I am utterly disgusted, and hope this review serves as a warning that Daves is more concerned about adhering to a warranty date, then they are about standing behind the quality of their work, which in this case was well below par. Ill be taking my business elsewhere. Daves - youve just lost a potential life-long customer for good.

Went in for an inspection and got they best customer service. They were really friendly and personable and did my inspection really quick like 10 mins it felt like. My starter went out a few weeks ago. My regular mechanic wasnt available so I had it towed to Daves. I explained to the employee on the phone that a certified mechanic ran test and determined it was my starter, but could not repair my car at the moment. They guy said well well make sure there isnt something else going on just to be sure. To me that was a red flag and meant well see what else we can charge you. My instincts were correct when they called the next day and said my battery cables were loose and my total bill would be over 600.00. My daughter was on the phone with them relaying this information to me because I worked the night before. I sat up and said loud enough for the person on the phone could hear and said You tell them mother-sluggers that those battery cables were replaced six months ago and dont try no #!$@ with me! They do not want me to get out of this bed!! My bill dropped to just over $400.00. My car is doing fine. Let me find out something went wrong with my battery cables.

I was being followed by a guy with road rage. He was riding my bumper and very aggressive. I knew enough to know to look for a public place to stop my car and get rid of him. I turned into the shopping center and saw the Daves Ultimate with bay doors open. I thought, Thank you God A safe place. I turned in and as I was pulling into the bay someone was already there. I begin telling him and he said, I know. I have been watching. The guy continued and started coming towards me. Magically more staff showed up. The idiot got into his car and drove away. This shop is amazing... and Nathan and Brett RULE! I came to this location several years back in need of a new buyers inspection for a car I was buying off craigslist. Nathan handled it like a champ, ensuring I was adequately informed on all levels. The inspection was spot-on and provided the information I needed in order to make a highly informed and honest purchase. A couple years later I came back for another new buyers inspection and this time Nathan saved me from what could have been a lemon purchase. Over the last week, Ive taken two more used vehicles for new buyer inspections. This time I worked with Brett, who too was extremely detailed, kind and informative with his guidance. Ive not worked directly with the mechanics at this shop, but from what Ive seen - this is one of the best auto shops Ive come across in regards to integrity, work and customer service. Beyond the outstanding customer service, I cant recommend more the return on investment the new buyers reports have provided our family with used vehicle purchases. The inspection reports are very thorough, including pictures, a high level summary and write up, and very detailed points for all items checked and found - as well as a price quote for all mechanical work needed. Both Nathan and Brett are some of the most customer focused folks Ive met. They know how to communicate effectively and are extremely pleasant personalities to work with. Yall are rad; thank you.

These guys are amazing. As a younger female, I always feel like dealers are quick to take advantage and try to up-sell me things that I don’t necessarily need. This place is the opposite. I asked specifically if I needed new windshield wipers during my oil change today, and when they looked for me, they said I didn’t need them right now and he didn’t want to sell them to me if I didn’t need them. I feel like their customer service always goes above and beyond. Trust is so important in this industry, and they have earned mine.

I had Auto repair taken care of here... I was treated fairly, they did what they said they would do, and the price was reasonable. If you are looking for the absolute cheapest expense, dont go here. But if you want quality work with quality parts then this is a good place to go. And their service was very good. I was treated very well.

My car broke down while I was out of town on business. Needless to say it was a huge headache, and costly, but these guys tried there best to make it a better experience, even taking $140 off of my bill.

Went in to get a vehicle inspection, at lunch, without an appointment. Had never been there before. Brett was at the counter, talking with a customer on the phone. He didnt give me an estimated wait time, which I actually appreciated. I literally had time to get a cup of coffee, turn on my laptop, and joke with Brett about the wifi password, and the inspection was done. It took less than 10 minutes. Insanely fast. And it was at lunch. Ill be back.

Can’t say the service was bad per se, but both times I tried to get service, they neither carried the motor oil nor the transmission fluid that my car needed. My car is an Acura, so it’s not like it uses unusual fluid types. The person at the counter said I could buy my own and then bring it in, but what’s the point of that? Also, the Round Rock location allows you to book appointments online for noon (which is great for bringing in my car on work days). But when I got there, the entire crew is on lunch break till 1 PM. That’s fine, but then why allow people to book online for noon? I ended up going to local Acura and Honda dealerships instead.

I received prompt and professional service for my van today at Daves. Many thanks to Nathan and the tech staff for a pleasant experience. This shop is clean and attractive with pictures of Round Rock features. I feel more secure in my car now that Daves techs have checked it over.Today, November 21. 2019, I had an appointment to get 4 new tires. I was greeted immediately, had a brief discussion with Brett about the best tires for my car, and I was on my way out to breakfast. About 90 minutes later, I got a call on my cell to tell me that the car was ready. The amount that I owed was exactly as had been quoted. I was pleased from beginning to end with he pleasantness and professionalism of Brett and the staff, and will continue to bring my car to Daves Round Rock location for all my auto care.

This place has always been good to me. Ive brought my car in several times for separate issues--enough to where they know me by name now. In addition to always getting quick & good quality work, theyre always super helpful & knowledgeable and have surprised me on multiple occasions of managing to find a part cheaper than originally estimated & save me money.

I needed brake work done. Based on the reviews of this place, I called three times over the course of 90 minutes. It went to voice mail each time. If a business is to busy to talk to customers, its a red flag about the kind of service they will deliver once they have your money. They may be great at their work. But their customer service is lacking. Spent my money elsewhere!

In my personal experience they have been up front and honest. They even offered to check my jeep right away after I had done my own repair to ensure nothing was wrong. Definitely recommend.

My cars battery was dead. called them late in the evening when they were about to close. still they were very happy to help me with it and arrange for a tow truck immediately. my car was ready early next morning when i started to office. great work by them and very reliable and reasonably priced. They even suggested that i get the refund for towing with insurance which i did.

We use Auto One all the time. They are always friendly and well informed. Weve checked the prices they quote us with other area auto care providers and they are always in range, usually cheaper. Anytime there has been an issue (and thats rare) theyve been quick to fix it on their end. We own a Toyota, a Honda and BMW, theyve done excellent work on all of them.

This place is excellent. They are always fair and get the job done right and at a fair price. My Dad is a former Master Ford Technician, so I know a little about what a good shop does and when they are honest.

I called a bunch of shops that do oil changes. Daves was the most affordable for the synthetic oil my Civic needs. They also noticed I needed new air filters (which I had been putting off) and do not charge labor for installation. I hung out in the clean and air conditioned waiting area and did work and they had me in and out within in hour. I will definitely be back!

Excellent service and attention. My car was having a vibration on the front left side and this was very noticeable when I was on a stop sign with the brake pedal press and the card on D,,, the service guys on auto one find the issue immediately. I turns out that car motor base mounts were in bad shape, so they replaced them and problem was solved.My car dealer did never found this issue even when I take my car 3 times to them, but the guys in auto one find it quickly.Im very satisfied and I will definitely return to auto one for regular car. services.Keep the good work guys.
