I had an appointment with Dustin, made the day before. Dustin didnt show up for work, so I took a seat with Ricardo, who proceeded to butcher my beard. I had a full beard, I showed him a picture of me just after a previous cut that I liked. He proceeded to shave all of my beard off from the chin down, so I have hair on my cheeks and chin only (nothing on the neck). He also trimmed the hell out of my full mustache to a weird pencil mustache. It will take months to grow back enough to have a qualified barber reshape it.

I tried American barbershop for the first time. I was in a last minute crunch for a job interview the next day. I was a walk in and lucky enough to get Donna to cut my hair in a timely manner. She cut my hair perfectly!! I will definitely be back to see her!! If I could give 10 stars for the experience I would. GO TO THE AMERICAN BARBERSHOP IN ROSWELL AND ASK FOR DONNA YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

Been seeing my guy David for haircuts for several months now and he is honestly fantastic. Always courteous and professional and from what I can tell so is everyone else who works here as well. I had my first haircut in over 8 months(pandemic) and I could not be happier. Holla was my barber and the man is a wizard with the clippers. He was fast, organized and efficient, and made sure to keep every inch of his work station clean as he worked. I am very impressed with this place and will be going back routinely from now on.

The establishment is clean, Fero is also very good at what he does and a cool guy to talk to while getting a cut. Both are masterful in their work, and I would recommend this barbershop to anyone!

For the past 20+ years I was having my haircuts done elsewhere. I felt like I was being rushed with some of my haircuts only lasting 10-12 minutes. I wanted more so I took a chance based on the reviews for this place. The custom / personal attention at American Barber Shop along with the “extras” (straight razor shave around the sides and hot towel when finishing) make this an easy place to choose. The price is excellent too so I just tip a bit more than I used too!

My husband and son just got home from here and my son’s hair is BUTCHERED. Ive never been happy when they go here, but today I knew when he walked in something was really off. He has chunks shaved into his head and part of his natural crown is shaved off?? It is all over uneven. My son is 7 and is calm and chill so this is not to blame on him.I’m so confused how a place with great reviews let him leave like this (and let my husband pay for this). Mistakes are one thing and totally understandable, but someone totally screwed up and then chose not to mention it. That’s inexcusable.

This place is unlike any barber shop weve been to! Been going there for 4 years now and I always look forward to my next visit.The staff is kind and friendly, and skillful. Sometimes you go to a barbershop and you get a very generic cut. Not here. Here you get care and precision. By this, I mean that the staff are meticulous in providing a good experience for their customers. The staff does straight-edge shaving at the end to make sure theyve gotten all excess hair. They do a minty, warm towel wrap on your head followed up with a massage--they do it all!It seems every year they are adding a new location, which seems to indicate more and more clients are happy with their services.Weve used Hardi and Jessa, but all their staff are very good!Check these guys out!

I have been coming to Chomans barber shops for over a decade. They are always so consistently professional, clean and the haircuts are exceptional. Ive enjoyed taking my son to Hardi now for the last couple years. He loves how special Hardi makes him feel and they always have fun during his haircut. Its the best!

I’ve been using this location every 2 weeks for over 2 years. Even after moving an hour away, I happily make the drive to get my hair cut. The barbers here are absolute professionals, and cut the best fade money can buy (for MUCH cheaper than other shops). I highly recommend Hardi but all of these folks do great work. Make a reservation online a day or two beforehand because they can get busy, especially on weekends.

I followed my hairdresser Lida here when she changed jobs and only book with her. She is great, and is the only stylist I can comment on. But its a nice clean salon, everyone is following safety protocols, check in process is smooth and prices are fair, $25 for a careful haircut that includes a straight blade clean up of sideburns and around the ears.

Moved here from Houston a year ago and hadn’t found a Barber. Actually have been going back monthly to my Barber in Houston. I’ve had two cuts in Atlanta since July 2019 and they were bad experiences. I can say I have now FOUND my guy! Hardi was awesome, personable, listened to what I wanted, and I loved the experience! The rest of the staff was obviously engaged with their clients and chatted with me as well. Felt like an old school shop where it’s like family. Hardi is great but I’m sure the rest of the staff is right on par! Strongly recommend the hot shave too! I almost fell asleep haha!

Holla had been very inconsistent. He does not listen to what I ask him. He’s experimented with cutting my hair way shorter because he want to “try something.” My hairline used to be straight and he’s destroyed it! Now blames my head shape for his lack of skill. Cuts way behind my hairline. I can’t get another haircut for weeks until this grows back!

American Barber Shop is a feel good type of barbershop. When I say it’s a feel good type of place, I mean that the atmosphere is super relaxing. Lots of tvs to follow sports while you wait for your cut, the ship always has a signature aroma in the air and everyone is super friendly and likes to talk. My personal barber is David. I have known and gotten cut by Mr. David for 2 years, since the business’s inception and it has been a great experience every single time. David takes really good care of his clients, he is a professional who knows his craft extremely well and he goes above and beyond what the traditional barber would do when you come in for a cut. This shop has all of the amenities that one could think of while in a barber shop. Oh! And their prices are competitive to other shops in the market. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to better than an average haircut. 5 stars!

Given the current global climate, they are extremely cautious and clean. I am currently visiting from Delaware and was in desperate need of a haircut. When you go, make sure you ask for Holla! Felt like the guy was rushing, but from where I was at in the chair it looked good. When you pay close to forty dollars you expect a quality hair cut and beard trim. Got a few miles away and saw the line on my beard on my neck. There was literally a half an inch jump from where the line was started at the jaw to where it was under my chin. Think a stair step.Really disappointing because I have had decent cuts/trims here before.

I would like to say that I have always had good service there, but David went above and beyond. David asked me first if I wanted a water, a coffee, or anything else to drink. I have never seen anyone so concerned with making sure my haircut was that perfect, I mean, time was not relevant, only that my cut was perfect! Next, I had the full treatment for a trimming of my beard, shave of the rest of my neck and facial massage. Guys, if you have not had this done, try it, its worth the price!I always believe that if you get a good service, a good product, or if someone goes above and beyond at their profession, write a review and let others know about that service.
