Love V-Star! They always do the best job and exactly how I ask! They are great with designs and their pedicures feel SO good! Their shellac also lasts for weeks!

When I came for enquiry the receptionist had no smile attitude to tell me the price list.I came in an hour and she would not even look at me for 10 mins. I requested her to takeMeIn and she said rudely sit there and one of us willCome toTake you. Nobody came for 5 mins and then she herself come tell meToGoTo chair 4.I sat there again for 10Mins and she come and puts the warm tap on. The girls were freely roaming around but I was not taken care of until IAsked her the for WiFi.Sundays peopleDon’tLikeToWork. I understand, however this treatment toGuests willStop their growth. Sorry!!! I amNot judging her but this treatment is not professional. They should train her to be professionalOr she should go as a customer to another nail place and experience the good treatment. So she can learn.

Nails came out great. I am very picky about my nails and toes. I have no complaints other than they take their time to make it perfect. Not a complaint at all if you ask me. If you have a problem with having great results go somewhere else. I will be returning for sure.

Only 3 star because I went in to get acrylic nails and the lady didnt do it even after I told the lady at the front desk. The lady trim my nails short and only did shellac which I want but no acrylic nails. The Mgr state it was a language barrier but the front lady knew and had a ticket for me and told Megan so what went wrong. Yes. They do a good job but you need to tell everyone what you want when you go to get your nails done. Then they try to charge full price but I didnt get what I wanted. Unacceptable.

Today was my first time getting my nails done ever and I dont regret it. I walked into the shop and Ben greeted me, I showed him what kind of nails I wanted and he got started on me right away. It was such a great experience and the atmosphere was very pleasant and clean. After Ben was done with my nails he rubbed my arms and hand down with this amazing smelling lotion, and wiped them clean with a fresh, warm towel. I will definitely be coming back for more.

Ken (Store Mgr) and Owner of this shop, you should realize how bad I was treated at your store and how good of business you lost over $5!I have been coming here for 6 months and have been getting my nails done for 15 years. I normally have good service here and thought this would be my permanent shop.My tickets is usually $65 every visit. I normally get full set with shellac with coffin shape. The coffin shape is $5 extra because of the time it takes to file. I decided to get square this last time (2/12/20) with Mimi. Square is a normal basic shape that doesn’t cost extra.Mimi and the Mgr Ivy wanted to charge me $5 extra. I repeatedly tried to show them the shape difference but they denied the filing differences.Ivy handled the situation by telling me to shape my own name and leave!! I was shocked at this customer service-to a regular high paying customer.I told her I will shape my own nails and that I can do exactly the same work they do but I come to them because it’s a lot work! I got dip powder nails done 6/3/2021, not even a week and my nails are all cracked and chipped! I called and they offered no solution and said it must be MY nails and that maybe I should get acrylic nails instead. I paid $57 seriously ridiculous. I will also post pictures.

First time Ive felt 100% satisfied with the work and service of a nail salon. I love my nails, simple and cute! I had not done them in a while and I was expecting my nails to hurt afterwards, like usual, but they absolutely didnt. I really recommend coming here! Sit back and relax with the confidence of knowing that the ladies know what theyre doing. Out of all the ladies here, I highly reccomend Amy. Shes really attentive to detail and gentle on my nails.

I got a pedicure and had my nails shaped and they came out amazing.

I’ve been going to Vstar for a few months now and have never had a bad experience until now. I got a French tip full set and they look absolutely terrible. I came back to ask them to just paint white over them because they look so bad and have bubbles, and the shaping is all bad they tried to charge me $25 just to put polish over them. i’m very upset because I love the vstar for my pedicures but now I have to find a whole new salon because this really rubbed me the wrong way:(

Terrible service worst experience ever. Nails not straight lumpy different colors after refills pedicure terrible. Lady cussing me out in her language cuz she couldnt match the colors. Charge 50$ for a refill they charge extra for everything.

I unfortunately didn’t read the reviews before attending but live close by and visited a few times because the convenience.On 10/23 I went in to get a manicure and after about twenty minutes of discussing what I wanted on my nails, the tech assuring me I could get a refill on dipping powder, which I didn’t think was accurate, I went ahead and got it done. She layered it on and I wasn’t pleased with my nails but I didn’t have another hour to spend at the salon. I was there for close to two hours.Fast forward to 11/13 and was headed out of town so I wanted to get my nails done. As I began to take them off I noticed dark black/greenish mold looking stains on my nails. I called and they admitted to the oversight stating the nail tech shouldn’t have given me a refill and she’s been known not to read the mailhistory on each client but argued with me saying I should’ve known I couldn’t receive a refill... I was told multiple times I would not receive a refund, not to challenge it with bank because that wouldn’t work (which I hadn’t mentioned so they had issues with this before and that my only option was to come in and get my nails cleaned by the owner who would put medicine on my nails to clean off the fungus. They kept saying fungus like that’s a normal thing.I feel that going back to this salon would be the equivalent of getting food poisoning at a restaurant and then eating the free appetizer they give you.The level of unprofessionalism at this salon is very disappointing and I hope if anything I can educate someone else and suggest the multiple other salons on the area.

I have been going for 3 years now.. Every 3-4 weeks I go and see Lee, she does my nail dip and is absolutely amazing. I have Sam do my pedicure. He too is great. They have so many color choices for whatever you would like done for your nail treatment. Definitely tell anyone who ask to go there.

My Beautiful wife and step daughter in today to get their nails done my step daughters nails went fine. But my wife told them multiple times which colors and they wrote them down. When they did her toes they put the wrong ugly color.

I spent $153 for a French tip faucet in French tip pedicure they put a crack in my big toe and had to put overlay I did not get a discount. They hit your feet to knock dust off from buffing I repeatedly So the woman I had ankle surgery and suffer from nerve damage all intents swelling and she continues to grab my ankle where my wound was and hit my feet. I have NEVER wanted to leave a place so bad. I cried going home Because my nails were an even poorly shaved and when I told Nail Tech what her errors were and she told me that I was just seeing things. I requested a special pedicure with CBD & tea tree oil which they did not have so they recommended a new volcanic rose gold pedicure that was $80 and they did not know how to use the charcoal activator very unprofessional very overpriced overall horrible experience it was as if I was somewhere in the hood

This was my first time here and I’m very lucky to have gotten Diana to do my paradise pedicure & manicure. She is very well educated with what she is doing. The dip powder nail color choices are by far the most I’ve seen. The technicians are all amazing and cordial. Complimentary water, wine, margaritas are served. Rewards program for regulars but the amount to spend before a reward is a bit high. The only reason why I give 3 stars is because the manager has a terrible attitude even after I am a regular (refills every 2-3 weeks). Overall I patronize the establishment because the nail technicians are amazing and do an awesome job.

V-Star was amazing!!! They were patient with me and did these amazing Chameleon Cat Eye nails for Freaky Deaky!I recommend them, their prices are decent and service is over the top. They also have a rewards program!!

I arrived at the shop very early and I was the third customer to sign in. The manager allowed all other races to be served before me. She made me her last priority. She allowed 20 or 25 people to be served first. There were only two black ladies there, including myself . The other lady was first and she skipped over both of us to serve white races. So sad because the manicurists are really good.

Alexis and Lee are the only two ladies I allow to do my nails! They have a wide variety of nail colors and sometimes they help you choose the right color if your indecisive. The prices are reasonable and my nails last at least 3 weeks to a month!

I felt MISTREATED!!!! People that arrived after I did were taken care off first! They made me wait over an hr. Before someone could take care of me. Then the technician had and attitude because I wanted two tone color nails. Then she had the nerve to tell me that I should get one tone color on my nails to save my self some money. The truth is she didn’t care about my finances, she just didn’t want to do the work!! She made it very obvious since she kept making faces the entire time she was doing my nails. This was my first time visiting V-Star Nails. With all of the reviews, I was skeptical to try, but was VERY pleased. I went on a Saturday, which is a very busy time and they saw me right away. The environment was very clean and had nice decor. My nail tech ( I didnt catch her name, wish I did) was so good! She did my nails exactly how I like them. I will definitely be back! It doesnt hurt that it is just outside my neighborhood.

Husband sent me to get my nails done. Made an appointment earlier in the week. Had to wait because they were busy. My pedicure was great. But my full set was not good. My nail tech was mean to me when I asked her to trim my cuticles because I didn’t tell her early enough. When did trimming cuticles get taken away from your manicure? That’s one thing I personally need. My cuticles are long. My nails were bumpy and I ended up having to file them once I got home.

I love this place we go there every time. Nail techs are very friendly and respectful my nails always last when I go there,way better than any other nail shop, very clean as well. I highly recommend this place.

This was my first visit and loved it! Cindy took her time and made sure I liked the color and the shape.

My sister had a horrible experience. Completely overcharged for a pedicare and it wasnt even what she asked for. She asked for chrome color and got a basic silver. To top it off, the pedicare itself was mediocre at best. Not to mentioned we felt they were talking about us the whole time! Very uncomfortable! Save your money ladies and skip this place!

Very nice atmosphere and great customer service! Their instruments came out of the autoclave bags right before use which is a great feeling knowing they are clean and sterilized properly!! I just got a pedicure so cannot review how their manicures/acrylics are. But the pedicure was great!

I love coming to Vstar, until today. We loved the pedicure, but when we went to pay it was a different story. The three of us asked for classic pedicures with a kid mani. The lady at the front even confirmed “three classics right?” When we went to pay, they charged us for deluxe ($7 more and 8 minute longer massage). The same lady that checked us in is the same that checked us out. She argued that I said deluxe and then asked if I wanted a “discount”. I just paid and left in disgust. Not sure if it was a one time thing, or a common practice. Needless to say, we will not be back.

This place sucks!! Don’t bother with making an appointment. It’s a joke. You can be on time and they don’t care if you had an appointment. I made an appointment with Steven 20 minutes later and He was no where to be found. So there is no point. Don’t fall for the BS website. It’s also expensive for nothing really special. I’ll make the drive to SugarLand. Sweet Escape has better service, more colors, better chairs and actually keeps appointments.

Diana did an amazing job on my pedicure! She took her time and my toes look and feel sooooo good. My daughter had a good experience, as well. We recommend this place as a local nail spa experience.

Walked in, every last staff member looked dead at me and said nothing. I stood there for over 5 minutes just waiting for someone to acknowledge me and got NOTHING so I walked out. I live in this neighborhood and will make sure that I let all of my neighbors know to NEVER go to this establishment.

After 3 days my solar nails were chipping they did fix them but then, After 4 days the top coat started PEELING! I finally went back to get them a different color now they are glitter but super bumpy feeling! they also have no refunds after 3 days ..second time, will be my last!!

I had previously read the reviews about this nail shop before and one that stood out for me was the customer that was charged for the deluxe pedi when she did not request it. Unfortunately I had that same experience. Midway through my pedicure I asked the young lady if she was doing the classic pedicure and she said no, it was the deluxe pedicure. I told her I did not request it. She immediately stopped massaging my leg and proceeded to quickly finish my pedicure. Fortunately I was not charged for the deluxe pedicure but I was disappointed with the overall experience. I did not feel that the way the matter was handled for a first time customer was about great customer service.

The technicians do a good job but checking out is consistent a hassle. One time my checking account had been hacked so my card was frozen (while I was inside, so i had no idea. I had just purchased gas that day so how was I supposed to know? My husband gets those alerts and he was at work). I was made to feel really badly and I had my AMEX. Well, they dont take Amex usually. I was close to tears and Id been coming here for 5 years so its not like they didnt know me. After what felt like forever they said theyd take my AMEX just this once but to make sure I can pay in the future. It was why I hadnt been back in so long. I was so embarrassed.I got an email for 10% off for 7 days before or after my birthday. So I decided to go again, afterall it was just that one issue in 5 years and I can understand that there are people who try to not pay. And maybe theyd had a bad day. It happens.Again, the technicians were great and we talked about my birthday dinner plans with my husband (who had to work on my birthday which is why I came in the day after my birthday instead of the day of my birthday). The technician even made sure to tell me I get 10% off for my birthday! That was nice, she didnt have to do that. So I go to check out and its a whole production in front of people. I had to ask for it (understand) and show my ID (understand) and the email (kind of odd if its well known discount). But then there was what I can only assume was a disagreement between my technician and the checkout clerk (by tone). The checkout clerk then said its 10% day of my birthday only and 5% for the month after that so she was only going and to give me the 5%. I showed her the email that said 10% 7 days before or after. She was obviously irritated and now theres a line of people behind me and Im embarrassed yet again. She ended up giving me the 10% discount and I tipped the technician ~15% as usual (I would have been more exact but did some quick head math because I just wanted to get out of there.)I honestly dont know that Ill be back. The technicians are great but I hate the checkout service and thats twice in a row that Im left feeling really embarrassed.

I have been here numerous times. The owner/lady who works at the front desk is not welcoming. She is very rude. The last time I went I asked for a spicific person knowing I was going to have to wait bc I didn’t have an apt. She then took another client who did not have a apt and put her w the lady I just requested. On top of that I got a fungus on my nail. I will not be returning.

The salon and staff were wonderful. They did a beautiful job on mine and my daughters nails. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

My frist time going was great! However, my second time was not, she messed up on my thumb and everything was super rushed. My nails were rough around the corners. I had Emily she was very nice, but rough and rushing this is disappointing.

Dirty. They dont wash the pedicure bowl after client use. I watched a nail tech put used nail instruments in a package and seal it to give the impression that it is clean and sanitized. That is just wrong
