My sisters in and I were in town for a wedding and took a chance on Glow for blowouts the day of the event. All three of us were so impressed with the salon! It was clean, quiet, and modern. Everyone was super friendly. My stylist, Brooke, did an amazing job! I’m tempted to travel back to South Carolina from Washington DC just for her amazing shampoo!!!!

I received a very subpar haircut from this place. It was super rushed and careless. The stylist did not part my hair or check if it was even. I was left with a lot of uneven pieces and the whole cut felt pretty sloppy.Update: Business reached out very quickly and offered to remedy the situation. Very kind and understanding about the whole situation.

This was my first time at Glow and I had a wonderful experience. From the second I walked in throughout the remainder of the appointment, was great. I saw the stylist Brooke who is beyond amazing and took me from dark to ash blonde and purple. She was so sweet and goes great work! I highly recommend them and can’t wait to go back!

One word about the master barber Anthony. Precision! He meticulously takes his time and listen to what his customer wants and over exceeds my expectations! One of the best barbers that touched my head and my hair isn’t that easy to cut! I wouldn’t let anyone give me a fade and it’s rare to find a barber like him!

The experience was great and it started with the front desk staff being kind and accommodating. The nail techs were friendly and professional and did a wonderful pedicure! I will be back.

My favorite place to have my nails done! Taylor is awesome and and my nails always look amazing when she’s done with them. Everyone is very thorough and the space is clean and well kept. I’ve been to several nail salons and have never had the service and quality work that I do at Glow.

More than satisfied with my experience here! The women that did my nails did an amazing job and she was so sweet and professional, it was so clean and comfortable in there it felt like being in a salon at home! Needed a new salon last minute for a pedicure and I will be back!

I went here to get a VERY important cut. I shaved half of my hair off which was a very exciting and scary experience. They were very polite on the phone, and the head stylist stayed over her original leaving time to do this important cut for me. She did an absolutely amazing job and was very kind the whole time. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing! I have had hair and nails done here, and each experience was the best I have experienced at any salon. Ashley did my hair, and she was fabulous! She really took the time to understand what I was looking for in a haircut, what products would work best with my hair type, and how I styled my hair on an average day, and the result was one of the best haircuts Ive ever had! The salon is beautiful, and they offer you a complimentary wine/beer/beverage when you arrive. They have great products. The whole salon often attends conferences in order to continue their education and growth in order to keep up with evolving techniques and trends. I am so impressed with this business. Highly recommend.

Best hair place! I live in Charlotte and drive all the way to Glow to get my hair done. I went to a very expensive hair salon in Charlotte and they turned my hair orange... yes orange! I was there for over six hours, paid $300, and left with my hair fried. Glow has truly transformed my hair back into health! Thank you so much! Love y’all!

Absolutely love Glow Beauty Lounge... I live uptown Charlotte and drive by at least 100 salons to get to this one. Ann completely rescued my hair from a disaster thanks to a plaza midwood salon. This salon stays on top of their education. I couldnt be happier with my results! I also love the teamwork I see throughout the salon. Such a beautiful and clean establishment.

Man, I hate being this person! I was so excited to 1) take advantage of family being in town to escape for an hour during nap time as a work-from-home mother of 2 at 11am on a Thursday–at a time I thought would not be busy and 2) find a new place close to me for both nails and hair that has great reviews. Unfortunately I couldnt get my nails done as planned and wasted 25 minutes because there was only 1 nail specialist working and she had an appointment in a little while. Understanding, I asked if they usually required appointments, but she said no.I have been in the market to find a new hair stylist as well and was hoping this place could do double duty for me, as I live just across the river... bummer. I usually dont condone writing bad reviews before you actually have a chance to try the service/product, but this totally bummed me out.

So I used to be a faithful client at this salon, because they did wonderful pedicures and manicures. But I broke my toe the day before my appointment. So I called and left a voicemail stating I was cancelling my appointment because I broke my toe. Well, do you know the owner wanted me to pay a 25.00 cancellation fee for not calling and cancelling 24 hrs in advance. Now, I felt that to be inconsiderate being I was a faithful client and how could I predict I was going to break my toe the evening before my appointment. So, I felt my call should have been good enough. Things happen. There was actually a time when I had an event to go to and the nail technician cancelled on me because she had the flu and it was not a 24 hr notice, but I did not make a stink about it because these things happen and are not predictable. Smh

I had an excellent experience on my first visit and will be going back. The staff was attentive, helpful and fun (McKenzie, Laly, and Jim in particular). I had the diamond pedicure with Laly. I left feeling relaxed and had the perfect polish. Heading back this week for a facial and another pedicure.

The only place I will go for my nails. Taylor is the best!

Had my first experience with glow’s nail bar about 2 weeks ago, thanks to my friend Mary. And we scheduled our next appointment before leaving. Mani and pedi, Whoop! Just in time for my bday! I wanted a beachy feel for spring break at the beach and he delivered! Had a blast! Love the gel dip, it lasts soooooo long. Thank you for the awesome job and experience.
