Called 830 am on a Friday. By 10am, I was waving to Jake as he drove off with my car safely on board. Office was friendly and helpful, Jake was professional and knowledgeable. He maneuvered his tow truck like a Yaris. The emailed receipt included pictures of the car dropped off at our house, safe and sound. Thanks so much! Inevitably, someone in the family will need similar service and we’ll be calling Frank Bobo’s!

Would love to give a review but three days later and no return call…..so until we can have someone do what they are telling us they will do instead of putting us off to the next day three times over I can’t write an honest review. Helps if you do what ya say you’re going to do. In town eight days and we’ve wasted three days already with the promise of we’ll call you back tomorrow. Doubtful will have our problem fixed on time.

My truck just stopped running of course on a Friday at 3pm on one of the busiest traveled roads and of course needed a roll back tow truck. My insurance carrier and myself had a time trying to find a company that was willing and could come get us in a reasonable time frame already sitting for 2 hours and was told could be another 4 hours. They somehow contacted Frank Bobos and was told they could be there to get us within the hour. Noah the driver was very friendly, hardworking and very empathetic with our situation. Emergency service repairing my Thor Hurricane 34F RV. Called Joe on the phone and explained the engine problems. He said that they were extremely busy but to bring in my RV and they would run diagnostics. After dropping off my RV they fixed my engine problems in a few minutes. They are my Go To garage. Very professional. They also offered a veterans discount. Highly recommend.

I thought I had lost my key and called for a tow to the dealership to get a replacement key. After I placed my call Amy called me back and gave me the number to a person that could possibly make me a key for a much cheaper rate. She went the extra mile when she didn’t have to. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Called on a rainy night. They told me they were behind and it would at least an hour before they could get there. I told them ok. The tow truck driver called in 30 minutes that he was refueling then on his way - approx 15 minutes. He arrived in 15 minutes. Truck was loaded professionally within minutes. Noah (tow truck driver) was professional and efficient. Price was reasonable for the tow. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience using Bobos to tow my vehicle. When I called they were able to send someone right away and Noah was prompt, professional, and had some of the best customer service Ive ever experienced. While I hope to not need a tow again anytime soon, if I or anyone I know does, Ill recommend they use Bobos.

Today my beautiful daughter called today very upset because she locked her keys in her truck. Absolutely 💯 HORRIBLE communication. They set up a day/time to do a job for me, blew me off and then I called and they said theyll try and get back to me in 5 min. Nearly an hour later I call and they said he got busy. Then told me they couldnt handle moving the shed. I was very specific in my first phone call so I dont know what is wrong with them. Now I have to wait another week for the ground to dry before getting another company out to relocate a storage shed. Unprofessional, poor communication and a waste of my time. Do not recommend!!!

This review is for the towing service. My sons car was rear-ended. I asked the Rock Hill Police Office if he could call a wrecker and he did. I will say, the wrecker arrived fairly quickly; within 30 minutes probably. When he arrived, I told him I wanted the car taken to a body shop I with which I was familiar. I then gave him the address. Once he loaded it onto the wrecker, he told me it was being taken to Frank Bobos storage lot at a cost of $150, until the insurance adjuster came out to look at it, and then it would be towed to where ever I wanted. I told him I did not want it towed anywhere other then the body shop I had originally requested, and he refused to drop the car. I went back to the Police Officer, and he was no help. Essentially, what Frank Bobos Wrecker Service did, was hold my car hostage. Their company policy of taking the vehicle to THEIR lot should have been disclosed to me BEFORE they loaded my vehicle, and they should have taken it off the wrecker when I requested. THIS IS A DIRTY ROTTEN WAY OF DOING BUSINESS!!!

Got into an accident and called him at around 7pm, he said he would be able to do it, I call at around 9 and he says itll be an hour or 2, I told him I have to fly out at 4 in the morning, he doesnt answer the rest of the night. He texts me at 8am in the morning saying his truck went down. Im sorry but if it did maybe you should of told me when it happened and not the next morning .

You think Frank Bobo’s just specializes in wrecker services. THINK AGAIN!!!! Bought my 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 up here to get a quote on a suspension lift and let me just tell you I now have a 7.5in lifted truck with a zone off road lift and 2.5in Fox coil overs with dual Fox shocks in the rear!!!! His price and quality of work is better than anyone in town!!! Now I am going back out west to run it in the dessert. When I come back they are going to install my 2.9 Whipple Supercharger Kit!!! Just ask for Jake!!!

Great local business. I was traveling on the interstate when I had to get my car towed the day before Thanksgiving and just hours before they closed. They went so far out of their way to help me get a new part on so I could keep going on my way. They didnt think twice about helping me either. Their team knows what theyre talking about and I highly reccomend them as a regular mechanic or a one time. Very trustworthy.

I can not be more happier than I am with the service I received at this place!! I have had a long time going problem with my vehicle with not knowing I used other shops around with no luck, and they could never find the problem with a raise on the lift my vehicle was diagnosed in the matter of minutes!!! Jake and Ms Tina went out of there way with helping me get it resolved with the parts ordered right away I was back on the road in no time, With my vehicle fixed as should have been at first!! Piggybacking on Another review after service was cancelled due to wait time. My wife cancelled after 11hrs due to no service and they have still charged my bank card for a tow. When my car broke down i was on my way to the airport and had no other option but to give my card number since i was going to be on an airplane when they were suppose to pickup. My wife asked them not to charge us since no service was rendered but they still charged us 65 dollars. I will take up with them when i return but this is nothing like the service we have recieved in the past and dare i say why would i try to keep my business local when treated like this. BEWARE

February 2015, I lost my transmission coming back to Columbia from Charlotte. Was around mile marker 85 and tried to find a wrecker. I came across Bobos and knew that was a sign (since that was my sisters name for me when we were little).Kris from Bobos was there very quickly and I asked where would be the place he would take his vehicle if it was the one one the back of the rollback. He said they did transmissions at his shop. When he told me the price my jaw dropped. They were way under what I was expecting. He took my vehicle to their shop and dropped it off, then took me back out to the Flying J to await a ride from my brother.My brother got to me and we went back by the shop to get my stuff out of my vehicle. Jake Bobo was driving by and stopped in. He already knew of what was happening and told me they would come in even lower on the price estimate I was originally quoted. This was on a Thursday night.By Sunday afternoon they had a rebuilt transmission installed and I was on my way. They even replaced the transmission cooler so I didnt destroy the new transmission. And still came in under the original estimate.February 2015, I had oil leaking from the back of my engine. Took it to a local shop in Columbia where it was diagnosed as the rear main oil seal. They said it would be over $800 to repair. I called Jake Bobo and asked what he thought. He gave me a much better quote than the other shop and then beat his own quote because he said he wished they had replaced it when they did the transmission. I took it up there on a Thursday morning and he got to work on it. He found that it wasnt the rear main seal but was instead the valve cover seals. He had those fixed in short order.I asked him to look over my Suburban for anything else he could find. He found the A/C belt needed replaced so I had them do that and the serpentine belt.All told, I came in for less than 1/3 of the cost the other shop had quoted. And I left feeling confident my vehicle was in good shape.I know that for any future large repairs I will make the trip to Rock Hill from Columbia because of the way Bobos does business. It is worth the drive to know the work will be done right and for a fair price. Plus, you just cannot put a price on an honest mechanic.

We have used this towing service once or twice before and never had a problem and would recommend them often. However, my husband called them today around 5:20am for a tow to our house; he had to be at the airport at 6:15am and could not stay with the car. My husband was told it would be done within the next hour or two. Needless to say, 11 hours later its still not home, and Ive cancelled the call.Around 12pm my husband called repeatedly to try to talk to someone about why his car was still sitting in a service station, unlocked, with our only key inside it. It took forever to get someone to answer the phone. When they did we were told that it would be a couple more hours because they were backed up. This person said the first person who took the initial call did not let anyone else know about the 5am call. Other wreckers did not want to bring the car home because Frank Bobos was supposed to be getting it. Here at 4pm, and the car is still not home. When I called to cancel it, the person was rude and said something along the lines of I told your husband it would be a couple more hours because we were backed up. Really!?! Its been ELEVEN hours and if you have been so severely backed up since 5:20am, its time to look at hiring more folks or sending calls somewhere else. Cancel the call, do not charge us (because the first person demanded our card number over the phone) and we will no longer call or recommend you ever.

Broke down with a flat tire on 77 after 5pm. Jake came out and not only changed the tire but took me back to the shop, opened it back up, swapped out the donut with a used tire to get me home. Jake is the man! You just do not get service like this. Trust these guys. Use these guys.

Had a flat tire on the side of the highway my crappy jack that comes with my car was sinking into the mud so I couldnt get it high enough to change my tire. I look up and their is Jake Bobo asks if I want any help grabs a real jack out of his truck and Im on my way. He says he does this for a living and cant just drive by someone that needs help on the side of the road. Stand up guy.
