Im about to write the kind of review that I would personally tend not to believe because I must gush about how wonderful this salon and service is. I have always thought that I was in the chairs of great stylists at all times, and one visit to Techniques and I *knew* I was with a tippy-top-notch stylist. Without saying much to her prior, Michelle used her vast experience and reasoned out what I was looking for with my highlight service. It felt great to be right on the same page as my stylist right out of the gate!! That was amazing and super cool. The other thing that totally made me LOVE this salon was that I asked for my highlights to be noticeable when I have my hair in pigtails, that the underside needed to be addressed, too. I make this request every time I get highlights because I rarely wear my hair down, and Im over-the-moon happy with how I look in pigtails!! I love the cut, too, and I felt I could ask all the questions without feeling silly. All of these are reasons that make me SO HAPPY to have found Michelle and Techniques. Salon search is over!!!

Amy has been handling my thick, coarse, curly hair for approximately 16 years. After so many years of helping me attempt to tame it, Amy and salon owner, Michelle suggested the Amino Fusion treatment. The lengthy process was well worth it!! My hair has less frizz, less volume, and a more relaxed curl. It’s also more manageable and versatile. But most importantly, it feels incredibly healthy! I couldn’t be happier... not only with my most recent visit to Techniques but with all of my visits over the years!

Love going to Techniques. Michele and her team are wonderful. They are professional and very helpful. Ive gotten my hair cut, styled and colored multiple times and havent gone home unhappy.

I have been going to Michelle for many years. I followed her when she relocated and open Techniques. Michelle is very professional, very knowledgeable in color and highlights and always consistent on her services. You always receive excellent service. My hair is very short and thick and she knows exactly how to cut it. My youngest son also goes to Michelle for his haircuts. You should give Techniques a try, all her employees are very talented and a very pleasant salon.

Went in as a walk-in. Was greeted immediately and was introduced to Michelle who said she would be doing my hair. I was donating my hair and was very nervous. I was made to feel very comfortable and she explained what she was doing every step of the way. I will definitely be coming back as a regular customer and I highly recommend this place to everyone!

My daughter just got her hair cut with Sheryl - it looks absolutely adorable. We were actually stopped in the mall by a woman who is a licensed hair stylist herself- she loved my daughters haircut and felt compelled to tell us! I get my hair cut and colored by Sheryl as well - exceptional service.

I absolutely love Techniques. This was my first time and I am not a hair person at all and a ponytail is my normal daily style.I went in for highlights and a huge chop! Everyone was nice and welcoming and Sheryl really made me feel beautiful!

Overcharged and inadequate services for bridal party. $15 is listed on site for Mani, 6 people were charged $20 for basic Mani w/out driers. All nails chipped in 12 hr. Hair: 6 request basic updos, starting at 9 am, 2 bridesmaids were not in a chair until 10:20 am, and we were half hour late leaving. 2 bridesmaids did not get what they asked for (pinned curls up off neck) instead they spent 1.5 curling hair only to tightly pin all hair, making curling pointless but still overcharging us $40 a person due to extra time used. Mother of the bride was charged $65 plus tip for 20 min of putting a few large curls in short hair- no pins were used. Extremely friendly staff for planning, extremely disappointed in the end result, especially for the wonderfully high prices.

I had the most wonderful experience here at Techniques Hair Studio this weekend. I hate getting my hair cut but you can only go so long, so I called on a busy saturday afternoon and thankfully they were able to get me in. As soon as i got there i was helped immediately by the owner Michelle. As I spoke to her at the front desk I didnt have to speak to much, she knew exactly what I wanted before I did. She took me over to get a wash by another very polite woman, and then she would be the one helping me! This woman has a passion for her job and she does it well!! I was going from long to short so I was a little nervous but she made the whole process very relaxing and comforting. She explained what she was doing step by step, kept a nice conversation, and nailed the finish. We took about 5 off and she blended it perfect I couldnt be any happier. This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back! Thank you Michelle!

This is the place to go! I have coarse wavy hair that is difficult to cut. If not done correctly, its awful! Michelle knows her stuff, and makes my hair look great every time. Everyone there is super nice and always make you feel welcome.

I absolutely love this place. I am completely loyal to Kasie Lynn and am so happy she is here now! I used to come here before I started going to Kasie, so when she said she was coming here I WAS SO PUMPED. The atmosphere is so friendly and awesome, and its really beautiful inside. They do amazing work inside and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else to get my hair done. Thank you Kasie!!

I came here I believe in January and can say I wont be coming back. I forgot the girls name but I got a full highlight done and as shes brushing out my hair ALL of the highlights start breaking off.. I went home crying showing my husband that every single one of my highlights was falling out... I didnt say anything to management because I felt bad she just found out she was pregnant. My current hair stylist is trying to help me get my hair healthy again but with half the hair you normally would have thats a little difficult .. She knew it was all breaking off and didnt do or say anything about it. Still upset about it

Michelle has been doing my hair for a year and a half now. Every single time I visit I leave relaxed & happy. She goes above an beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The salon is always so busy, so its no secret that Techniques is AWESOME! Try them out, you will not be dissapointed. They do manis & Pedis too!
