Its was okay. A little dark and very quiet. No one answers the phone. It sounded like they were arguing about who was going to take the next customer. It took 45 mins for a gel polish change. And the paint job is messy

I went in for a manicure and pedicure, let me just say I was amazed, the pedicure was normal and relaxing as always but when it came time for the manicure I voiced a few concerns I have with my natural nails( they are very fragile and tend to peel) the nail tech gave me options to make the manicure last since I work with my hands. She took her time with me and even showed me the acrylic powder options they had and set me up with a set of tips. She was so detail oriented that the set she finished on me look as natural as if I clear coated my own nails I was so happy with the look and feel she got the length just right. Ive been here 3 times now and everytime they have done a great job but this time has made me never want to go anywhere else

Everyone says this CyCy person is the best… Well my first time there and the experience was the worst. She did not seemed welcome number one… I was told to come in.. then told another person to take me.. so she can take her appointment which happened to be her own kind.. another lady said the same thing happened to her before.. Not sure why she wet back.. I was just visiting Rochester and was referred by my family… But trust and believe I will never go there again EVER!!!

First off its a holiday (7/4) and i already have a broken nail. I got my nails done literally 4 days ago (6/30). Kevin is the only nail tech and i must say I wasted my money and was given very poor services. Very thin acrylic applied poorly so were the gems that fell off the same day of service Kevin rush through doin my nails ugh im just disgusted by this place I’ll never return I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

I was very disappointed with my service at star nails with Kevin a few days ago. He was extremely unprofessional. I had to wait almost an hour even though I made an appointment.The whole salon is disgusting covered in dirt, nail dust and fruit flies and he cut my fingers multiple times and cleaned nothing. I’ve seen other reviews where he has cut people so he could likely be spreading diseases. I kindly asked for him to use new or cleaned tools since everything he used was visibly dirty and I was ignored. He started using a bright peach color when I asked for a nude pink and when I asked him to change it he argued that that color was better and when I said I still would like the color I asked for he said he would fix it and never did. If I hadn’t already been there for so long I would have made him fix the color like he said but I had already been there for 2 hours. He also did the shape terrible and I already have 2 broken nails and it hasn’t even been a week since I got them done. In conclusion Kevin is the laziest dirtiest rudest nail tech around never go to his nasty dump of a salon.

The male shop owner made me wait TWO HOURS UNTIL THE SHOP CLOSED, had another nail tech accept a client AFTER I CAME IN, to tell me to make an appointment THE NEXT DAY! Then charged my bother a different amount than what was on the Receipt!!! I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN POOR FRAUDULENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Well when we got in the nail salon it was really dirty, there was dirt and dust every where. We got seated right away which was the good part, then during the manicure the man who was doing the nails spilled nail polish on my friends shoe! He didn’t even offer her a discount or apologize for it, the nail polish is still on her shoe today. Then after we payed I started to look and my nails more and most if not all of them were not straight. I would not recommend this place.

Ive usually always have just came here for my toes. This time I tried my fingers and wasnt disappointed with the outcome I was disappointed with the cleanliness. The gentleman was literally reusing the same gloves for each person he would do. The gloves were dirty and had nail polish all of the fingertips. They are reusing the same feet tools without properly cleaning them, for the first time I had a yellow substance leaking from the side of my big toe nail the other day (small toe infection). They do a good job but when it comes to cleanliness I have to give 0 stars in that area. I really was starting to like this place until I come back for the first time due to covid and they are not properly cleaning how they should. You should always use fresh tools or at least sanitize them after use. They one guy rinsed the foot cleaning tool right in my foot water and put it back into the container right in front of me.

I wish I could give zero stars!!! They jacked my nails up! Didnt even remove the old polish I had on bedort applying the set, and made them so thick and disgusting looking. It was the freaking owner who did them too. I wanted them semi long and now I can barely type this review! He rushed through them and the polish looks horrible and not even on the sides! I wanted to get them done for pics of my new ring and now I have to go somewhere else and get them fixed. NEVER GO HERE!!!! YOU WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

Went on my 18th birthday and got my nails done. They said it would last 2 weeks....two of my nails have already fell off. I like the atmosphere but the nail quality is poor. Its been 6 days. Im not happy.

Amazing prices it was 39$ for a full set!! The guy was really nice and friendly but also did amazing job on my nails ♡ i got coffin nails one hand red and one hand black. Really cute place as well.

DO NOT go here! Nail Station was dirty. They are reusing nail tools without them being sanitized. Male staff member at the front desk was not wearing a mask and a number of staff members were using gloves that were either dirty/reused and one was just wearing one glove. Table was covered in dust and we saw pieces of nails from previous customers on the tables and towels that they were obviously resusing as well.

Young is the best!!! Most thorough pedicure Ive ever had. He spent over on hour on my feet and legs including a massage to work out all the knots and tension. Always a happy customer with Young!

I really wanted to like this place; a friend recommended it after I had a bad manicure elsewhere. Unfortunately, it smelled like cigarette smoke, the tools werent sterilized, and the acetone from the bowl I soaked my fingers in WAS POURED BACK INTO THE BOTTLE. It took 40 minutes for him to finish taking the previous dip-powder manicure off. He kept grinding my nails...no, Im going to stop. The re-used acetone should give you a pretty solid picture. Giving them 2 stars bc they were friendly.

Came here last night with my mom and friend to get our nails done for prom. We walked in, and were taken in right away. We all had Kevin; who did an amazing job! My nails look amazing I am so happy with them. The staff was really friendly; and you just can’t beat the prices! Will be back again soon :)

Young absolutely spoiled me while I was there! Not only are my toes instagram perfect but the experience was a perfect mix of relaxation and fun. He gave me the best leg and foot massage of my life, he even showed me the difference of the tension I was holding in my legs after he finished the first one and it was amazing how much he had gotten me to relax. I cant wait to go back!

Me and my 5 year old daughter only go to her, she is such a hard worker and does phenomenal work every time. My daughters nail polish lasts about 2-3 weeks without chipping!! I highly recommend her, you will not regret it, especially with the massages she gives on your feet, will put you almost to sleep!!

I absolutely love Star Nails. I have been twice and seen 3 different technicians. They are very accommodating about getting you in when you need. The first time I came, I showed up 20 minutes before closing and they took me without any complaints. They had another customer come in by herself and then a family of three come in while I was there. They ended up staying open at LEAST an hour after closing to accommodate everyone. Also: I went to Park Ave Day Salon, and they messed up my nails - to the point my actual nail was completely misshapen. These guys fixed me right up no problem. 10/10 would recommend. AND GREAT PRICES TOO!

This place is AMAZING!!! My sister and I worked with Kevin and Vinnie and they gave us an awesome experience- definitely never going anywhere else for nails ever again!!! They’re funny, outgoing, personable and did I mention funny?!! This was an awful experience- she used a drill to take my old GEL polish off.. OW, then proceeded to file my nails over and over until they were literally shorter than my finger tips. 3 coats on one hand, 4 on the other and they are still practically see through due to how stingy she was with the polish, but don’t worry it’s pooled on the sides enough to peel off right now. It’s dirty, the nail polish bottles are caked with polish- please do not go here

I wanted to treat my niece to a pedicure last night around 7:30PM and found them open when others were closed or closing. They took us in and spent a lot of time with us. I thought they might want to rush us out the door (since the sign said that the hours were until 8:00PM, but they actually had us there well past closing time!! I loved the pedicure and my feet look so nice! My niece loved her toes as well. Thank you Young and CyCy. Great job! Well be back!

Im only giving 2 stars because my sister in laws nails turned out so cute and she said the lady who did her nails was really sweet. Other than that, I was not impressed. The man who did my nails did them very rushed.. I was getting a full set with gel polish and my sister was getting just gel polish, and I was finished before her.. I actually had to show the man where he missed putting acrylic on my nails, and he acted some what annoyed when he had to go back and fill them in.. I still have a few nails that arent perfect but just noticed them now. Than when he was applying the polish, in the sunlight it looks so streaky and uneven in some spots.. when I told him, he told me that I should have let him know sooner.. I wasnt even out of the chair yet. Walking out of there I had somewhat misshapen nails, uneven polish, nail glue all over my fingers, and just an overall bad experience. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

I went to star nails about a month ago. It was my first time there. I absolutely LOVED my experience there. I got a full set and a pedicure and my nails lasted just over a month before I needed a fill. my pedicure is still perfect! I used to break nails within 2 weeks. these last! I just went back for my first fill on the first set I got! I HIGHLY recommend them! ask for kevin when you go, he does an amazing job! Very friendly staff, the place itself is beautiful, and you will walk out of there with some awesome nails :) go check it out!!!!

Don’t come here. They made me bleed and the coffin was so sloppy and uneven I didn’t even let the guy finish. They wanted to charge me almost $40 when I usually pay $30 so I just paid $20 and left as quick as I could.

Had a pedicure yesterday and will never go back again. One nail was cut short and was bleeding the whole time. Person doing nails was looking everywhere but at my feet. Cleaned equipment in spa water my feet were in. Nail color job was crappy not smooth and spots were missed. My feet felt worse after pedicure.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Being the only nail salon I found open on a Sunday I went for a fill and a new gel color on my full set. Every single nail is a different shape and size (when I walked in they were all square) the majority of them are completely crooked, I got a completely different color then I had picked out, and to top it off it looks like my 3 year old niece painted them. Im not usually this particular but I honestly could have done a better job myself

Terrible place. Kevin always did my nails during the times that I was there, and he cut my fingers up so bad. My nails were falling off TWO days after and he was charging me more than what was listed!!! He was very very rude and was SMOKING in the back room of the place. Someone could have allergies or asthma, as I do. They are so unorganized, have terrible colors and nail polish. I now go to a new place who does a 100% better job !

The man was super rude. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, he said ok and they look nothing like what I wanted. I said no gel, he gave me gel and tried to charge me for it, I asked for matte and I didnt get it. The worst nail experience.... This was my first time here. Open very early on a Sunday so I strayed from my usual. CyCy did my pedicure and her service and job was a 5 star. My polish was beautiful and she did very good. However...Kevin did my nails. He was on his phone for 1/2 of the time. The acrylic was done exceptionally well. Rounded exactly how I asked. HIS POLISH JOB WAS HORRIBLE. It looked like a 5 year old did it. There was nail polish all up my cuticles...the coat was not even. Some spots missing polish completely! He had to fix my thumb but actually just re put polish over the top coat so when they dried it was no longer shiny. I will be going here for pedicures only. Maybe I will ask CyCy to do my nails next time. Prices are as good as it gets, 48 bucks for my feet and nails..I would rather pay more and have nicer nails though.

Just this morning around 930, my friend and I went to go get pedicures. Didn’t call and make an appointment and they already had two other customers which was no problem at all we waited a little bit and they were able to get right to us. The woman who took care of me was amazing her name was CyCy but my only issue is that All I got done was a pedicure, simple white tip they were good all day until I had to put sneakers on for work at 4 o’clock this afternoon, just took my socks off and my white tip is all smudged up!! Ten hours after leaving the salon. I will be calling tomorrow morning to see if they can get me in to fix themJust went back today and CyCy took care of me right away!! Honestly the best thank you

We t for a fill. The guy took off my last set did a new set and charged me $50 I assume he charged for the removal and the full set. Which he wanted to take them off k didnt need it. But fine it would be ok if they didnt all start lifting aroundt cuticals in like 5 days. Its now been a week and they have totally lifted about to fall off. They look terrible and it wasnt what I wanted. I wanted coffin shape and he did square. Im about to take them all off bc they are getting caught on everything where they have lifted. It was also quite dirty in there. There was nailpolish stained all over the polish rack and nail dust everywhere. The polishes looked filthy and had polish dripping everywhere. All the products used were in random containers with tape peeling off labeled with pen. It was extremely unprofessional and I held back from qrittinf the review after bc I feel bad giving bad reviews but now that they are so lifted I have to take them off Im just annoyed I payed $50 and they are not up to apr

Kevin cut my finger because he was rushing to get to two other girls that came in after me, I wanted color changing polish and he put regular gel that he didnt let dry did it rickeled on my nail. It looks terrabel and Im stuck with it for like a week till I can get them redone somewhere else

I regret going here. After the first night three of my nails are already broken off. And at the store the service was terrible. When I had tried to tell the man what I wanted I had to tell him four times and after the 4th time he got an attitude and started Rushing. which is probably why the nails broke off in the first place.. but the best part is if I had gone somewhere else I probably would have gotten this done for $25 and they charged me $35 for broken Nails... Definitely not coming here again.

My toes are sore and completely ruined after spending so much money and time here just last night. The woman who did my feet was very rough, constantly cutting my feet then poured alcohol on them cause me to scream from the sting. Then I paid for gel nails so it would dry. I get home and the nail polish is smeared all over!!!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! They used the electronic file until my cuticles were bleeding! Got there at 1:45pm and didnt leave until 5pm!! For an eyebrow waxing and a full set of acrylic with gel top. There were only two other young girls getting their nails done that were already started when we got there!! They got polish all over my skin and the nails look horrible. I will NEVER go back. My fingers are killing me and were bleeding for over a half hour.

CyCy is by far the best nail tech, I suggest calling ahead bc you will never get her as a walk-in! Clean, new and vibrant colors to choose from. Also, I suggest adding a spa treatment to your pedi, your legs will thank you for weeks!

Went here a few weeks ago with a friend. The man did a full set of acrylics in like 25 minutes. He cut up her fingers, one started to bleed. He also left all the extra product caked under her nails. Also tried to push getting a gel finish but she declined so he did a regular topcoat which turned out a smudged mess. This was only 2 weeks ago and we already had to go get them redone correctly. The quality of the work was not good, super sloppy. I wouldnt waste money here again.

My dad and I have been going to Star nails for the past year. Cici takes care of my Dad, hes 94, and he loves it. She gives him a mani pedi and we found it much better than going to the podiatrist where the nail care was painful and high copays. I get a pedi with Young and its a very relaxing experience. I recommend Star nails and think its a great service for senior citizens.😀😀😀

I regret going there. The girl didnt know what she was doing. Obviously she’s new and its not her thing. It took her two hours to do my nails. My nails look so thick short horrible. And they charged me 35$ instead of 25$ I do not recommend. After reading all the reviews I wish I read them before going there. Yes I can be more specific. Idk her name but it was short young girl who sits next to tv. My every sigle nail is defferent shape and size. Also she left all the extra product caked up under my nails. Idk if she’s still learning but it took her so long to do such a bad job.
