Been going to idols and anchors four a couple years now. Never had a disappointing cut & always get compliments. Prices vary among the barbers but all do a top-shelf job.

Been here a couple of times and love it so far. The vibe is great along with the haircuts and beard trims.

Hate to say my family feels funny about this place. Went there with my son whos 5, we just moved to the area from Pittsford so we wanted to find a nice new fresh clean shop. The prices are very steep but willing to pay for a good haircut in my opinion (30.00). Zach the owner cancelled 2 days before my sons party. Gave us no time to find another appointment. Didnt attempt to reschedule or even offer to cut his hair (as an old school owner would). Took it as a loss, didnt say anything. A month or so later, I booked my son and myself another hair cut here, Zach texted me and canceled again, sent me a link to try and book another appointment on my own, which of course theyre all booked. Look Im very old school, when I was a kid i had the same barber until he passed about 5 years ago, NEVER have I felt this way toward an establishment, yeah the inside looks cool and edgy, the barbers are booked with clients, so they dont really care if they lose anyone, thats the day we live in with the young generation. We are the inconvenience to them, they forget that they work and exist for us. I would have made a point to fix the inconvenience, if this was my establishment. I guess its easy to say we wont be back.

1st time here, nice place, friendly staff, and amazing haircut and shaped up my beard. Zach was great! Will definitely be going back from now on.

Modern looks, upbeat music, and best of all you can make reservations online! I dig it. If you truly dislike tattoos, alternative/rock music, and skinny jeans, this is not your place lol but the haircuts definitely make up for any of those issues. Pretty impressed that a group of tattooed rocker guys in skinny jeans can do a great fade, to be perfectly honest! Great place to bring the young boys and have them feel cool

Found this place by accident, took my son in for a hair cut with Charlie (the red head) and MY SONS HAIR HAS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD! We live about an hour away but this is where we will go from now on! Very pleased! He listened to what my son wanted.

The men that work at Idols and Anchors and very nice and are very barbers. Great place to get your hair cut. I really enjoy going there to get my hair cut. I would recommend my family and friends to go there for themselves.🤗

Great place. I knew of them through the local music scene and was advised to check them out. Everyone is very friendly and down to earth. Cuts are great, got a nice fade and part and the barber took the time to finish with a straight razor. It was a great touch and really set off the cut. Prices are reasonable, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Will be coming back again for sure.

He took his time to make sure they were on point and happy. That means a lot when you have a 1 and 3 year old who are terrified of clippers. Jesse Brooks is top notch. Went here based on the recommendation of a friend. These guys are really talented. Old school craft with a modern vibe on the inside. I found this place by a Google search and was really impressed.They were open late enough for me to get to them after work. The people were super nice and friendly and hilarious. Next time I am in town I will definitely be coming back.

Great place to get a cut. Tell them what you want or bring a picture of the cut you want, and you wont be disappointed. Make an appointment before coming, but they do also take walk-ins. The owner and the employees are all really friendly and approachable. My usual barber always has me check out my hair before I get out of the chair to make sure its exactly how I want it. Every time. You wont feel awkward asking for a change if theres anything that needs to be adjusted. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, modern barber shop.

I tried this place out recently and got a haircut from Dustin. I can honestly say it was an excellent experience. Everyone was very friendly and the shop had an excellent vibe to it. nice décor, good music, friendly people. Dustin was incredibly gentle and made sure to clear his plans with me beforehand. Its probably the first hair cut I have ever enjoyed receiving. I would give them five stars, but I was charged $26 for a simple cut, which is twice what I have paid anywhere else. Is it worth it? Im not sure.

I stumbled upon Idols & Anchors on a Monday. Even though they were technically closed, Greg took me on as a walk-in and cut my hair and beard to perfection. I got married the following weekend and felt confident knowing Greg hooked me up proper. I’ll never go to another barber, these guys are the real deal.

Normally i dont go to barbers or places like super cuts but i chose to give these guys a chance because i liked the atmosphere and how they did my brothers hair and overall my haircut was quick and exactly what i was looking for. Michael did an amazing job and ill definitely be back as a regular.

After looking at their page i discovering the atmosphere of the shop & pictures of others hairstyles I was excited to check it out!This afternoon I walked in without calling ahead & as all the other seats were taken, I got the chance to meet Greg Fattare! Told him what style & certain details I was looking in having a fade, a part line, & trimming up the beard. He was precise on making sure I knew what I wanted by paying attention to detail & reassuring what we were going to do today! He was efficient at multitasking by taking his time, staying focused, & was great in being open in conversation! The atmosphere itself has nice space, vibrant colors, upscale tone, with a good selection of music with a TV!After the haircut, I was rest assured if I wanted to book an appointment to go online, select the Barber, & schedule the date and time! Great attention to detail. My hubby went for a hot shave and to have his head shaved. The music is loud, but appropriate for Id say 95% of the clientele. Friendly staff.

Did a walk-in and there was only one barber there. The place is cool inside, with very old copper barber chairs. However, the cut was bad. Barber didnt listen to my direction and made a mess of my hair. He seemed to be annoyed about something.

My son loves going here. Went today and Dustin made him looking GQ after he came looking like a hot mess. Watching Dustin was amazing. My son was made into his masterpiece and every detail was made perfect from the hair to his facial hair including his brows. My first time there as I took my son, but my son had been there a few other times. Now I see why he loves Idols & Anchors. Aww dropping skills.

My fiancé came in for a cut and the fade was great, but top was all uneven. He has a colic in the front and it looks like they just cut it straight across without any consideration. Needless to say I spent the night fixing it. We both are disappointed seeing I was excited for him to go to a barber for the first time in years other then just having a basic fade that I do every couple weeks.
