We took our son for his first hair cut. He is 3 months old and John did such a great job. My son was so comfortable with John. He was fast and efficient, you could tell he has a ton of experience especially with little kids. Very gentle and patient. We will definitely be back! Also gave us some pointers for future visits.

Never had an issue till my last visit. I felt like a price tag more than a customer. To my dismay I wasn’t really asked how the hair looked as it was being done. It felt like just a expensive Supercuts at best. Then when I did ask for one thing which was no neck beard, I was left with a jagged line on the bottom and my neck beard still mostly there. Didn’t even realize the haircut was messed up till I got home and actually looked at. I had to go to a local place around the corner to get another cut to fix it. Looks like I won’t be driving out of my way anymore

I’ve been to barber shops all around Rochester, and none can match the service and quality as Jurs Barber Shop. I personally use John (the owner) for myself and my son. But sometimes due to my cramped schedule I’ve used the other barbers and have never been disappointed! I don’t think there is a cut John can’t do, I’ve seem him do all sorts of styles over the years. The shop is clean and friendly, the prices are reasonable and John is great with kids too!

With the reopening of the Finger lakes area I was thankful that barber shops were open..Jurs was awesome you needed an appointment but there was face masks and hand sanitizer also the chair was also sanitized before I got my haircut kudos to Jurs

Got a great cut, they went above and beyond! John, Tim and Mike are true professionals with years of experience. They are personable and shop looks great, the big screen TV is an added bonus. I bought haircuts there twice. Both were satisfactory. However, I went 2 other times, both on Wednesday (last date was 2/5/2014), at 8:45 AM. They were closed both times. They advertise their hours starting at 8:30 AM. Clearly, they are not serious about this, causing much inconvenience if you have to drive far or were planning to do other chores while out. I recommend you call ahead to see if they are open. Better, find a more reliable shop.

Easily the worst haircut I have had in a long time. I went on a Monday so maybe they didnt have their best barbers on. Requested a simple fade. There is no fade. Its one length on the side and goes straight up to the top. No attempt made to blend fade with hair on top. I could have done a better job by giving myself the haircut. Wont go back.

They do a great job cutting little boys hair! Weve brought our 4 year old twin boys here and weve been very pleased! Its hard to find a place that honestly does a good job cutting little boys hair but this place is wonderful! Its comfortable, friendly, and the boys hair always turns out good!
