Went to Vesas today for an inspection and experienced some of the nicest, kindest, most professional Auto experts. My service was done in record time. But what really struck me was the overwhelming kindness exhibited by those working at Vesas. Humor and kindness go a long way in the world. I will definitely bring business here and highly recommend.

The best mechanics in town. I speak auto, meaning I understand automobile language to a good detail. For a car thats been sitting for a month and Firestone claiming an engine replacement, was narrowed down to a sensor and got the vehicle back on the road the same day by these people. It was nothing less than a miracle. Excellent guys, and very reasonable with pricing.They explained the entire process and parts they replaced and why they had to do so. Mechanics usually claim their experience, but these people show in their work.Highly respect them and very highly recommend them.

I was told I would need 4 new calipers (and when I asked why they said they were all leaking brake fluid which is just not true) and 4 brakes - my rear tires were not taken off by the shop. Taking advantage of a single female coming in alone is an absolutely unacceptable business practice. I do not trust them. I did not need brakes or calipers to pass inspection. Thieves. Shame on you.

Weve been bringing our cars to Vesas for about 17 years now. They are very honest, friendly, and explain things clearly. When a car is no longer worth fixing, they tell us! Great shop. Vesas is amazing. I go there for oil changes, routine wear and tear stuff like brakes and rotors, and for all the big and little jobs in between. They seem to be able to fix anything and everything!Ive got two Dodge minivans (05 and 2012) with more than 100,000 miles on each that both run like dreams because Vesas gets the job done for a great price.Josh and Larry provide excellent customer service at the front desk AND they go above and beyond to explain the what and why of any repairs. 1st and foremost--HONEST! Super friendly, and professional. After dealer tried to charge for things I dont have I looked up my car fax info and Vesas popped up number 1 highest stars. Not far from home with that old school country mechanic vibe everyone knows and trusts! Performed my scheduled almost 90k mi routine maintenance in a timely and affordable fashion. So much so that I have already scheduled the next and final things. This said I forsee my car being regularly serviced, inspected, etc. at Vesas. Proud to recommend, and Id say 5 stars is too low. When you find a good mechanic shop, you just feel more at ease!

A great local business. They will do what they can with their schedule to help you. Multiple times they have done something quick for me in a time of need. I’ve literally been driving called because something is going wrong, and have given me advice. Don’t expect an oil change on the spot because they do have a schedule they need to follow. Where to begin! My mother went here and said the office is a warm welcome and they are always pleasant when anyone walks in. Ive been going to Vesas for years and every time I get work done on my vehicle they do an exceptional job. Most recently I had my timing belt replaced, a tune up, new rear breaks and a bunch of suspension work. I also had a check engine light on and a problem with my all wheel drive that they diagnosed and fixed. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating to my schedule. I was also able to get a loaner vehicle so I wasnt forced to sit waiting at the shop until my vehicle was finished. Id highly recommend supporting this locally owned and operated business to any of my friends or family. Everyone at Vesas has always been honest and thorough, and the service they provide is fast and hassle-free. Theyve been willing to go the extra step to help when Ive needed it, and they dont overlook the little things (like reset my new-to-me trucks electronic engine oil-life monitor after the last change). Vesas was able to open an oil cap that the oil change place could not. They diagnosed a loose heat shield an fixed it for under 20 bucks instead of replacing it and sending me to the poor house. Thumbs up for Vesas!

I was recommended to this company several years ago by my Uncle. I have had at least 7-8 vehicles of my household in for repairs over the years. When my Mom & Younger brother moved into town, I recommended them & their cars have also been in. I bought my Dream Car a few years ago which revealed a Major Repair I did not know when I bought it. I got lucky and discovered Vesas soon after moving to Rochester and took my car there ever since. They are friendly, very responsive, honest, have great communication, and do great work. When Im out of town and have to get work done at a chain store, Im quickly reminded how great Vesas is.

Ive gotten work done here a few times and they certainly fix what needs fixed. Beware: One day I was getting work done at Vesas in spring 2020. I was told I needed new brakes, rotors, and that my front stabilizer bar was cracked. About a month ago (January 2021) I brought my car to my-Tee auto to fix my exhaust and get an annual inspection. They passed me (brakes and rotors were fine). They also cared enough to show me my stabilizer bar and point out that there was nothing wrong with it. If youre not an auto expert be wary of Vesas.

I cant over emphasized how excellent and reliable this team is. I can’t say enough how appreciative I am of Larry & the shop. They squeezed me in for a repair today when they were already pretty booked up, knowing I couldn’t go a week driving around with a frozen caliber (especially driving my young kids around). I dropped it off on my break at work and it was ready when I got out. They were able to diagnose it, contact my warranty company and complete the repair in 5 hours flat, with no notice and without ever working with me before. I will definitely be using them for any future repairs I may need and will definitely be recommending them to anyone that asks. Thank you so much, again!

They were able to diagnose and fix a problem Id been having with my steering that 2 other shops had took my money for and said problem solved but wasnt! They kept in touch with me every step of the way and my truck has been riding great ever since! I was surprised one of the guys called me today to make sure everything was good. These guys were really good to me. My car broke down and I needed it fixed in 2 days when they weren’t booking appointments until a week later. They came in before opening and fixed my car before I even thought it would be done. Larry is great, he tells you what’s wrong with your car and what your options are in a real down-to-earth manner. Can’t recommend Vesa’s enough.

I’ve been having some battery issues with my car (amongst other things) all year, however, Josh has always been very honest and fair with pricing and what my car needs. I’ve always been weary about mechanics and services being that I’m not extremely mechanic inclined myself, but Josh and Larry are honest and genuine people and it’s the first time in my life I can say i feel comfortable dropping my vehicles off knowing they have my best interest in mind. Great communication.Since then weve almost strictly used them for all of our needs (My husband refuses to buy a new/new used car, he prefers older junkers *sigh*)They have always been very fair, upfront, honest and very helpful.Best customer service. I was honestly TERRIFIED to deal with another mechanic after going to the same place for 25 years, but, my trustworthy local mechanic always has a one to two week wait to even look at my car. I called these guys today and I have an appointment for tomorrow, being as skeptical as i am, i read all of the reviews and I am expecting a great experience!

Had a great experience here recently. Went in for an oil change, and they noticed something that I had noticed symptoms of also. They were able to do that additional work while I was there and finished earlier than the time they promised. Good prices too. Overall a really good experience.

Originally went to Valvoline for my inspection and all they did was try to up sell me on a bunch of unnecessary work only to fail me for a bad exhaust manifold gasket. Found Vesa’s to get my gasket replaced and inspection taken care of, they were able to get me in quickly and found no issue’s. They were friendly, helpful and made everything very easy, will be bringing my car here from now on.

I dont typically write reviews but I feel like theyre helpful to contribute to for services like this: I called around a bit to find a place for new tires and Vesas seemed to be the most professional, responsive and reasonably priced. Dropped my car off a couple days later and picked it back up that same day - new tires feel great! I definitely recommend them :)

Vesas Auto is one of the best mechanics in town .Very reasonable pricing and they really pay attention to the finer details. They are so good they have kept my 20 year old Volkswagen Beetle on the road. I have been with them since the 90s and would not go anyplace else.

I trust Vesas to give me an honest estimate and they also do good work. Had them install a CV axle recently on my Honda Accord.

I believe I had Larry for my guy. This man is an absolute God send. Completely understanding of my financial situation in which I couldnt get all the work needed on my car done, he was able to get me running nonetheless. I was stuck in traffic when I was trying to pick it up, so he stayed 30 min after they close to make sure I got my car back. I cannot recommend them enough, they are here to help you, not to screw you over. The prices were incredibly reasonable.

These guys provided me with a loaner car while my car was in shop just for estimation and kept shop open after hours so i can get my car back.Everyone takes money and fixes your car but they go the extra mile for you.I took a chance on them while i kept on getting run arounds from all the fancy dealers in the area. I recommend Vesa’s to anyone and everyone when they mention needing service. These guys are honest and fair, and there are never any surprise charges once they start work. Also their customer service is second to none! I don’t like having to pay for auto repair, but when I do at least I know I’mpaying for honest work.

When we moved to Rochester a couple of years ago we needed to find a mechanic shop we could trust to regularly service our vehicles and this place was it! Staff is knowledgeable and genuinely wants to help. Prices are average and they are usually busy but always seem to fit us in..they have a courtesy vehicle if needed and tell you if they noticed things are started to wear so you can budget in the repairs instead of being surprised with a crazy bill! When I picked it up, cost was $50 less because they found a way to clean up and preserve a part instead of replacing. Highly recommend!

Came in from out of State with an issue with my car that happened as I was in transit. They took a look, diagnosed the issue, and I was on my way within a couple hours. Also, the staff were really nice, everything was so straight forward and I certainly thank them for their time as I had very little of it when passing through on a business trip.

Took my car here last minute after the Monroe Muffler down the street wanted $500 for a new battery! Turns out the problem was my starter due to a leaky transmission line. These guys fit me in on a busy day to diagnose the problem, and then were able to get me into their schedule the next day to have everything fixed. They are professional, courteous and very customer oriented. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend them!

I recently was interested in purchasing a second car and found Vesas name and number on the Carfax. I called them with the slim chance I could inquire about the car they had serviced. The receptionist was pleasant and professional and called the mechanic who worked on the car to the phone.The mechanic was also pleasant and professional and was knowledgeable to the car in question and helped me make an educated purchase on my 2008 Accent. I stopped by near close of business to schedule an appointment to have a slow leak in a tire looked at. Josh, Justo and the rest of the helpful team fit me right in and repaired the tire in about 15 minutes. Great shop to deal with; very knowledgeable and a friendly group of people. I needed a last minute state inspection, and Vesas was great about squeezing me in that day. While looking over my car, they noticed some additional maintenance that could be done. Without being pushy, they explained the situation and left it up to me whether or not to have the work done. The work ended up being completed ahead of schedule and even coming in under the price they originally quoted.
