We called Haley Comfort because our new gas fireplace wouldn’t lite this morning. We called at about 1:00 pm and we had someone at our house by 2:30. Josh and his partner came in, removed their shoes and got to work. They explained that there was air in the gas line and explained how when you start the fireplace up for the first time it happens. They educated us as to what to do next time. They then put a blanket down on the floor and pulled the screen and glass off the fireplace. They cleaned the glass. They added some additional smoldering embers and changed the batteries in the remote. These men were very courteous, professional and prompt. We would highly recommend Haley Comfort and these men to any of our friends. Thanks so much!

When you want to feel comfortable in your hone no matter the temperature and humidity outside then call Don to set you up with a system that will make you feel comfortable no matter what level or room you are in your house (including the basement). From start to finish, our gas fireplace installation was seamless. Communication with everything was top notch, the workmanship of all the installers was excellent! Every single worker was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, neat & very professional. We did spend quite a bit more than we expected, but what we got in return made it worth it! Adam was the lead installer that installed our brand new air conditioner and furnace. I would give both he and the other half of his team, Moses, a 10+ rating. They were on time, extremely efficient and left any area they worked in cleaner then when they arrived. Adam also had the challenging job of explaining the operation of the new products to the elderly owners. He did that patiently and thoroughly in a way that we even understood what he told us. That is a real skill. Adam and Moses are a great team and we would highly recommend them!

We got a new fireplace & Haley did a rock star job from start to finish. From offering different choices and looks, to helping adjust our choices with their knowledge of how the finished product will turn out even though we cant see it yet, to completing the work to basically perfection. The work was fast (3 days) and absolute rock star. Its not very often that you get work done on your home and you have very little to no clean up or even a touch up of paint needed when the work is done, but we got that with Haley.

We visited Haley Comfort Systems and a competitor while planning to add a new gas fireplace to our living room. While prices were comparable, Bob from Haley was so much more informative about the process, accomodating with working around our crazy schedules, and made a trip out to our house to go over all of the details and options before we spent a dollar with his company. He worked up a variety of bids and cost options during the visit which we greatly appreciated. One visit to Haleys amazing showroom in Rochester, and we were able to make all of our final decisions. The install was done exactly as scheduled and the installation crew were all true craftsmen and professionals. They were excellent communicators and double-checked with us about various installation details. I highly recommend Haley Comfort Systems for any type of fireplace installation.

Brandon did a fantastic job! He and his co-worker showed up on time, explained what they were going to do when they arrived, cleaned up after the job and then did a detailed explanation of what they had done and how the new furnace/ac worked. They were polite and professional. Salesman Don did a great job, also, of explaining the different levels of products, costs and rebates. He called back when he said he would. I would use Haley again and I would have no problem recommending them to my friends.

Excellent experience so far. Scheduling service was simple and I received a reminder call. The Haley employees who have called me so far have all been helpful and courteous. The technician who came out, Jason C., was a particular standout. He was extremely professional, competent, considerate and genuine.

Chad was very helpful and responsive. He came out to troubleshoot our water heater. Unfortunately It is 30 years old so it was time for it to be replaced. He recommended a brand for us and was able to come in the next day to install it. Truly impressed with his professionalism and follow through. Thanks Chad! Troy was very efficient and fast at installing an insert into our fireplace. Very neat and clean placing drop cloths everywhere and vacuumed up when leaving. He explained how to use the remote and back battery system. Very nice and polite gentleman

This is the third gas Franklin stove we have had from Haley. Obviously we are satisfied customers! Troy installed one a year ago and another this week and both times we were impressed by his care, knowledge, professionalism, willingness to answer and deal with any questions and concerns, and with his thoughtfulness as he was in our home. The stoves themselves, Vermont Castings, are excellent quality, provide good heat, and are very attractive.

It was great to work with Bob, Troy and the rest of the crew. They were super friendly and did a fantastic job of installing what is now a centerpiece to our living room. Justin came out to see if anything could be done with our gas water heater. He couldn’t find what was causing the gas smell. He tried super hard, and even called the manufacturer of the water heater. He was persistent, kind, and demonstrated a knowledge of his profession.We were so impressed with Justin!

Went to Haley to replace my wood fireplace with an electric. Great showroom in their new location by the movie theater. Done got everything scheduled and Nick (and team) came out to do the install. Jason was the technician assigned to my annual A/C maintenance. I found him to be very professional and personable, initially explaining everything he was planning to do. When he was done, he spent time explaining to me what he had done and found. He also answered several other questions for me, not related to my A/C. I hope to see Jason again for other maintenance items I have with Haley!

We had our 20 year old Furnace and AC replaced by a Bryant Evolution System. We are very pleased with the zoning design and equipment proposed by Tom. The installing team lead by Troy was prompt, professional and performed a spotless clean installation. They replaced all of the duct work connecting the unit to the distribution ducts, added insulation and isolated the unit from the existing ducts. We cant even hear the AC running, just feel its comfort! The place was left better than how they found it. Troy kept us informed through out the day, and coordinated with the Electrical team which needed to fish and install wires for the zoning. Haley Comfort would come highly recommended by our house-hold.

I had the pleasure of working with Jason on a furnace issue, it happened to be the first night it got down to -10 this year. I came home at 5:30 pm on a Friday to find out the furnace wasnt working. Haley’s recently installed our new gas fireplace and we love it! Their new showroom is beautiful and makes it much easier to pick out what we wanted. I called on Saturday to ask about someone coming to check out our AC. I realize Saturdays are non-biz hours. The receptionist was really rude, I asked if someone would be able to come and see our AC today (Saturday) and she responded with Well, we have 11 ppl ahead of you so I cant guarantee someone will be out today, so no I cant no instead of stating it was a busy day and giving me options just a straight up Nope

Haley Ford Transit van ( tall one ) was driving like a maniac this morning. I was driving on HWY 63 going North near Target South and the van whips into traffic cutting off 2 vehicles. It was so close that I thought they were all gonna collide. I work on Northside of Rochester and I watched him cut off at least 3 more people. He eventually sped up to the 37th street exit and slowed down to maybe 20 mph and ran the red light when he turned right. Obviously safety is not a concern for you all so I cant imagine the safety of having a fireplace installed. Ironically we were just gonna stop there in a week or so to have a look because we wanna replace our wood burner into a gas fireplace. Anyhow, if your gonna drive like that dont do it in a vehicle with your name all over it. There were multiple other drivers upset and luckily no one was injured or killed !!!

Haley has efficiently and helpfully serviced our heating & duct systems for some time, but last year installed a free-standing wood-burning stove for us. It was neither a normal nor easy installation and required a fair amount of hands-on tinkering and creative thinking. This was given an A+ review at that time.Since then we have been rebalancing our overall heating strategies in our home. Throughout this period of about 7 months Haley has been available to us whenever needed, with both good advice and creative follow-up for some unique issues. This time around it involved two things: cutting vents into existing duct-work and putting a final touch on the stove that required a custom-made solution. On the vents Don Flaherty came up with a great thinking outside the box solution and Nick both did the basic job quickly & neatly, but took it an extra step further to improve the appearance of the finished vent work. In addition, Nick solved two small issues with the new stove, with a very personal commitment to having the hand-finished product serve the intended purpose in addition to greatly improving the stove appearance.Our thanks and an excellent rating happily given!

We had our gas water heater replaced by Haley Comfort Systems. A prompt assessment of our malfunctioning unit was performed. The technician, Steve, arrived on time and efficiently removed the old water heater and installed the new one in less than two hours, updating me at each stage of the installation. We are very happy with our new heating and cooling system. Installation was outstanding. Follow up was somewhat lacking. Was installed 4 months ago and still havent had our electrical inspection with explanation after several requests to the company.

We moved into our home on April 30, 2020 and we have used Haley Comfort for new lighting installed in our office, the insulation of a heater in the garage, the repair of our old AC and now for this review of having them install a new furnace and Air conditioner and 2 new thermostats. Schad came to our sons new home to install a water softener. Schad was very professional and answered all questions. In my eyes, he went above and beyond by providing tips and showing our son (first time homeowner) around the utility room...what to look for, how to take care of not only the water softener, but showing the water main shut offs, how to take care of/drain the hot water heater, suggesting on when to change the furnace filter, ect.. Above and beyond what he needed to, which only took < 10 mins but very valuable to us. Employees like Schad are why we are a family/repeat customers of Haleys! They did a great job on the complete tear out and install of new furnace and AC. Its actually been a couple of years since the install and I realized I never left a review so fixing that now. Everything is still in perfect working order with no issues. Cost-wise they were average but I researched the equipment they were installing and they were well above the other quotes in terms of what they were installing. The team did a great job routing the piping through a fully finished basement and making it look nice. Also appreciate the upgraded thermostat they threw in. Would certainly recommend them.

Installed new gas insert into an existing wood burner. The crew did a great job despite the 15 below temperature. Fast and efficient. Explained the system and operation well. The entire crew followed covid protocol the entire time. They worked around my current remodeling mess as well. A+.

We had a gas fireplace that needed work and did not operate. Josh came out to look at the fireplace and make recommendations. He was very professional and pleasant. He told us what we needed and gave us a quote. When the parts came in he fixed our fireplace and was again very pleasant and professional. I was impressed with his technical knowledge. Haley installed 2 units for our company. The installers used cheap foam products to insulated the units and when they collapsed 3 years later they did not stand behind their work. When we had new ones installed the new comany was astonished by how terrible and how many short cuts Haley had used. Very poor work and they did not stand behind it

Was looking for someone to to a surround shower prior to my knee replacement. This came up suddenly and needed to be done quickly. I reached out to 4 or 5 places. They were responsive and able to work within the timeframe I needed. Professional easy to work and was done when I came home to recover. Highly recommend and didnt know they did this kind of work.

Steve was wonderful ... arrived right after 8AM and had the problem with our busted water pipe fixed before 9 ... we are up and having no problems.

Went there to look at fireplaces, very impressive show floor. Had a very nice person help us fine exactly what we were looking for. Today they came and installed the fire place, tomorrow the stone gets put on.

Maintenance of Fresh air exchanger and furnace humidifier.Very professional & very knowledgeable of our equipment. we had a problem that no one else could diagnose and fix and he got right to the issue! Problem solved! He was kind and courteous.

Troy with help from Brady and Ian replaced our wood burning fireplace with a gas insert one. The job included changing our old faux brick surround with new cultured stone, adding a new mantel and installing a new TV above it. Because I was not happy with our old fireplace not being centered in the surround, Troy was able to make recommendations for me and then reframed the surround. Because we have custom wall moldings, he modified it to work with our new surround and connected me with someone to do the finish painting. Unfortunately the stonework we selected was on back order so we havent been able to see the finished job yet. What Troy and his team have done thus far has been excellent. He has been extremely helpful and willing to do whatever I requested to ensure we were satisfied with the job. I would reccomend this team to others for any job offered by their company. I would have given the 5th star if not for the delayed materials.

The installer (Brandon) performed exceptional work in a timely and profession manner. Before leaving, he made sure we understood the operation of our new system and answered all questions we had. They also left the work site arranged and clean! If you are in need of HVAC (heating / AC) services, I would highly recommend Haley Comfort Systems (ask for Brandon as your installer !). Note: A follow-up happened the next day from our project manager to assure everything was done to our satisfaction. You can’t ask for better customer service then that!!

This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. Chase serviced my fireplace and took the time to show me how to remove the screen and glass and cleaned the glass for me. He was very polite, friendly, and took the time to explain everything he was doing. We had a gas fireplace insert installed in our wood burning fireplace. There appeared to be a problem with the unit right from the start. We had 3 different service fellows out to try and fix it. Aaron finally figured out the issue. It was a bit frustrating as it was a brand new unit, and the issue kept happening even after it was thought to be fixed. They were just as anxious to get it figured out as we were and were very sincere and prompt in getting it figured out. We appreciate their efforts and very happy now that it is working properly. PS. The unit itself was working fine...it ended up being a gas valve that was causing the problem. Thank you Aaron!

Brandon and Mo did a superb job replacing our HVAC. Everything was handled professionally, the end result being a tidy, well put-together furnace and a/c. Placed master bedroom thermostat in the ideal location. Job site was kept (and left) very clean. Walked through the system and all its features at the end of the day - for probably 30-45 minutes. Clearly, they are experts in this field, are engaged and proud of the product itself and the work they do. This was a big monetary investment and we feel good about Haley standing behind this product, and the skills of their teams.

Had Haleys come out to give me an estimate on adding a gas line up to my kitchen to install a gas stove. The estimate was free (unlike a competing company in town that wanted 100 dollars just to come out for an estimate) I thought the price was quite reasonable and i would say the gentleman who did the work went above and beyond for the install. The companies communication was great and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Our sump pump that we have had for seven years in our basement failed after the storm on 9/12/2019 - Luckily we have a pump alarm that notified us the water was rising. We called Haley Comfort this morning. They did not have a plumber immediately available, however they did say they would notify us as soon as one was ready to come out. We received a call back within 30 minutes to let us know that one of their plumbers, Corey, would be there within 30 minutes. Corey arrived in about 20 minutes! Corey quickly determined the sump pump had failed and had a brand new one installed in less than 30 min!! The cost was minor especially compared to the damage that would have been done if this was not replaced. Corey is professional, fast and efficient, and did an amazing job!We are very happy with Haley and have in the past purchased our furnace, AC, and hot water heater from Haley, and now we have used them for emergency plumbing! We are on a service plan where they have a technician come out and check our systems periodically. Jason is the tech that usually comes out and again a very good person that is highly skilled and always a pleasure to work with!We highly recommend this company and believe they should be known in Rochester as the top plumber as well the best company for Heating and ACThanks Haley for your impeccable service! On a Saturday evening we had a hot water line leak in our house. We had to shut off water to the whole house. I contacted multiple plumbing companies and Haley was the only company available on such a short notice.Josh was the plumber sent to fix the leak. He was very friendly and personable, even on a Saturday evening. I thought we would have to remove cabinets and part of the ceiling to get at the leak, but Josh was able to repair without the ceiling and cabinets removed.I would recommend Josh and Haley Comfort system to anyone needing a plumbing repair.

We have only spent a year in our first house and with a heating/cooling system older than we were, strange HVAC in the addition, and lack of central heat & AC in our bedroom, Haley has received A LOT of our business and they’ve managed to hit it out of the park every time with amazing service.On the sales side: Don has been amazing to work with. We call him with a problem and he figures out how we can fix it right away. He lays out every option and lets us pick what fits our need, schedule, and budget best without pressure. He definitely has more experience than we do his advice has always been appreciated! I’ve never once thought to call my dad to double check our plans, Don has always given us the confidence we are making the right choice in a somewhat parental and not pushy way.On the install side: Every. Single. Person. that has come into our home has been wonderful. They are professional, always do their best to get the job done right without interruption to our routine, and are incredibly informative (as mentioned before, this is not our area of expertise). Before the install is done the guys always go over everything they did and what we might need to know down to the last detail, even how to set a filter change reminder on our thermostat. Everyone has also been patient with/extremely kind to our ever-curious puppy who just wants to know who is in his house and what is happening!We now have an energy efficient system, heat and AC in every room, and creative solutions to the HVAC in the slab not in the ceiling obstacle. Our charming fixer upper from the 50’s is more in tune with our 2020 needs.Bottom line- Haley will always get our call AND our recommendation.

I recently had a simply amazing experience with the Haley team from start to finish! About four weeks ago now I got a call from my wife saying the furnace had quit. Went home, tried what I knew I could without luck. Had the Haleys radio jingle stuck in my head so I figured Id call them first. Jingles work people! They were booked completely but said usually someone finished up early and would be happy to come out. A few hours later I got a call and Tim came out to see what he could so. Blower motor was seized and done for. My furnace was coming up on thirty five years old and I knew it was on borrowed time several years ago. I had previously Googled the company that made mine and it came up only as out of business fifteen years ago and fire danger. He laid out my options very honestly. Repair was still a possibility but I wanted to see what it would cost for new. He was able to get a salesman out within half an hour. Don inspected everything for me. Laid out three very good options with a good range in price and features. Really didnt feel pressured at all. By the time he left we were approved for a great financing program and had installation in the works for the next day. Installation was very smooth. My house is 144 years old and not easy to work on in the basement. Nick as and the other guy(I forget his name... sorry) were incredibly polite and efficient. Showed up about nine and were done before four. House is warm, wide and kids are happy. Amazing experience!!!

The technician who worked on our fireplace was excellent-----very pleasant and knowledgeable! The receptionist who called to schedule the appointment was very sexist. I explained my dissatisfaction with her and she apologized.

Great products and service. Sales person had lots of time for us and answered all our questions. Never felt rushed. Pkaced our order and arranged install into our new build home. There were a few months between initial installation and final fire up but they never hassled us to pay the remainder of the bill. Install guys were all great and very respectful. Definitely recommend.
