Nice people. Good job on repair but very expensive

Great work… only problem with classic vehicle it appears someone in their shop took some of the small parts in my dash either were swapped or removed, signal mechanism and fuel gauge loose…only noticed after the fact so can’t prove. Other car guys in car club told me they had similar experience/issues.

This is place is the most honest mechanic shop you will find in Riverside. I had my car for an issue and they could of charged me and arm and leg to fix it. They told me that was not to my advantage to take the whole motor apart for one sensor. It would cost way to much for a simple sensor. I can live with the sensor being on. Thanks for not assuming I wanted to pay all that money.

Ive come here several times over the past few years, and never for a muffler. Family friendly business that treats you like family as well. Trust me, they will take care of you. I appreciate the people here and all the work theyve done on my car. Thank you guys

Very busy shop, but what would you expect from the best muffler shop in the I.E.?

The people there are very friendly. My issue with this place is that they didn’t do their work properly and almost cost me my life. I am recently new to Cali so i didn’t know much about this family own business. I would not recommend going there. I needed up having to pay more money at my actual dealership because they failed to tighten and properly place all four of my wheels on its torque. Luckily when I and no one else was injured on the highway when one of my tires rolled away.

I have never had a bad experience here. They are honest and do great work.

On May 24th 2019 I spent over $1,100 on my catalytic converters on my Ford E-150 having two deleted + 2 replaced. I called the shop yesterday before going in today and asked if the to do an inspection and they said they could. I asked if I needed any money and they said I would only need to pay after they did the inspection if I needed any work done. At 8 in the morning this morning I pulled in just to be told I needed to Shell out some money before they would do an inspection. I paid over $1,100 for the work to be done less than two years ago I dont understand why they will not inspect their work why they insist on charging me even more money.

The Guys at Jerls Muffler are The BEST MUFFLER SHOP in RIVERSIDE HANDS DOWN !!!WHY ??I have a LEXUS LS400 with 2 cats near the Front Manifold that needed to Replaced and they Only Charged me $100.00 to Install with a Short Notice, while Every Other Muffler Shop in Riverside Charged/ Quoted OVER $200.00.AND they Did It in Under an HOUR every other Shop said It would take 4 hours.LOOK NO Further GO TO JERLS !!!

This place is dishonest and here’s my experience.First, I had alignment done at this place on 7/17 because I just changed rack and pinion (power steering). I also told the staff who remain nameless here that my air bag light is on after I putted the new rack and pinion. So maybe they can check that out as well. So when I pick up my car he said it probably because of the seat or seat belts that caused it. I was questioning him the air bag lights on maybe had something to do with the new rack and pinion I installed. His answer was he’s being fixing cars for 30 years and his answer was based on the scanner. The air bag light is on doesn’t relate to the rack and pinion. I was having doubt with his words so I did research on my own turns out it was the clock spring broken caused the airbag light on. It is directly related to when I was installing the rack and pinion. So I purchased a new aftermarket clock spring on eBay for $30 put it on and problem was solved. I don’t know if he gave me the False advice because so I can pay them more to get my car fixed or he didn’t know what’s wrong with it just trynna get rid of me but I DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE anymore. I guess this is why people have trust issues getting their car fixed at the mechanic shop. Imagine people who are not like me just believe what the staff said and waste more money on their car with little problems.Second, the day I got my car back for alignment took about at least 3,4 hours which was not 1-2 hrs that they estimated how long it will take for them to get done with my car. Which is understandable to me because things might get busy at the shop. But they called me last minute said either I come to the shop rn (right before they close) or I will have to come get my car tmr. They did not apologize or anything.I hope people are more aware of this kinda of situations and find honest mechanic shops you are trust.

Awseme service. Drove around for 2hrs looking for a shop to remove my factory cat back muffler in one piece, corona, norco and riverside. Everybody told me it was impossible because my truck was lowered. Nobody even bothered to even take a look at it before jumping into conclusions. Jerls technician right away put the truck on the hoist and got it done 30min later, 1 piece. I was able to install my magnaflow cat back exhaust. Jerls gained one happy customer today. I will drive 10 miles and pass a lot of muffler shops to give my business to jerls. Thank you.

I purchased a 1973 Z-28 Camaro from Ohio and had it shipped to me in California. Not my best deal. The exhaust system was completely sub-par and actually dangerous because of all the exhaust leaks. The workmanship looked like it was done bay a three year old. The whole exhaust was touching the bottom of the car with so many bends it looked like a winding road. I decided to have the old system pulled out and replaced. Jerls jumped on the project and made a completely custom built exhaust system and was able to save my existing mufflers. They installed custom heavy duty flanges and positioned the mufflers in the correct spot and routed the pipes with the minimum of bends. The turn down pipes were chromed and period correct for a nice look. The system now looks and sounds great thanks to the Old school craftsmanship that makes Jerls the go to place for any exhaust problems. If the brake side of the business is as good as the exhaust side of the business, I an sure it is, I will be taking all my cars to Jerls for brakes also. Thanks to Jerls my faith in finding quality workmanship has bee restored.

Super Professional. Upfront and honest. They fixed my Flex Exhaust Pipe the same day. They are a little expensive but did great work.

God still blesses me with the ability to own and drive a car, but the type of car Im stuck with owning and driving is a curse itself. No other muffler shop in the area would touch it after the previous mechanic shops weld on the pipe suddenly broke, but the tidy-clean mom & pop shop Jerls did, without any hassle, quicker than expected, and with great workmanship (I waited 2 weeks to write this to make sure and the weld is still intact after daily commutes into Orange County). They well deserve my husband and Is future business and will definitely be getting it.

I had been hearing a squeaking sound for a while whenever I braked. Turns out there was a little piece of metal and the pads were fine. They took off the pads cleaned them up and resurfaced the rotors in under an hour. Great customer service. They made me feel like family and did not try to upsell me. An honest business I will definitely be back :)

I went yesterday to get exhaust welded and at first seemed to be vary helpful and polite i told them I just wanted a certain spot welded on my exhaust and they tried to get me to redo my whole exhaust and when i told them that is not what I wanted they refused rudely to do any of the work worst and most unprofessional place i have ever been to they acted as if i asked them to do it for free. There excuse was that if they did it it wouldnt last my very next place I went to did do it and did a wonderful job i would never go back to this place and would not recommend it to my enemy. Very sad and ended up going to another shop thst only charged me $45 to do same thing they tried to charge me $100 and they did excellent work

Went here to have my exhaust overhauled on my BMW and was not disappointed. More recently, I had to have my rear brakes done and did not want to pay the dealership the over $3k they were asking (just for the rear brakes!) so I came here instead. Was able to get the whole job done for under $1k.

I am very upset about my visit here. I dont make a lot of money so 80 dollars for nothing is a big hit. I brought my car here because my brakes are making a loud buzzing sound when I brake. The guys at Jerls said no problem well bleed the brakes and youll be good to go. I replied thats it? And its a guarantee fix?They said yup guarantee fix, it will run you about 80 bucks. (Mind you that Im thrilled this noise is going to go away because its annoying)So I paid the 80 bucks for what ever they did in the garage to my car for 30 min, only to get my car back and the very next day have the noise come back amplified. It is worse than it was before.I brought my car back few days after, and they cant figure out what the problem. They basically told me to kick rocks. So I left.The guys are great, the work they did to my car sucked. And Im not pleased.

Updated review- I went there a couple months ago due to vibrating brakes and a burning smell. I had been there in the past and was surprised to find the business was under new ownership.They replaced my rear pads and master cylinder but the vibrations continued to get worse in the following weeks- so much that the entire car shuddered when braking. I ended up going back to get my front pads and rotors replaced which solved it immediately.I wasnt quoted a time frame on either of my visits and ended up waiting ~2 hours both times. Had I known that I would have made an appointment and dropped the car off. Also the owners seemed to be very stressed and the atmosphere was a bit tense (making exasperated phone calls, customers having to wait due to other things going on, literal running around)I probably wont stop there again simply because it would be going out of my way but their prices are fair and they are pleasant people to deal with

Great service great people wonderful job

Im a car guy Ive pulled engines rebuilt them but trying to buy a exhaust kit for a jeep in cali is like trying to pull teeth. So after 4wheelparts recommended Jerls I thought Id give them a shot. I needed to replace the intermediate pipe back including the cat converter and wanted something with a little better flow since I already have pace setter 6-2-1 headers, but it had to still pass smog. Jerls shop did the whole job installing bigger pipes (2.5 in) and a magnaflow catylitic converter and muffler welded it all together (meaning no clamps to rub holes in the future) and installed it basically giving me a full custom built exhaust for a little less than 600$. The mechanics where awesome and even told me that I had a slight exhaust leak at the block (if your reading this and you have a pace setter header installed on your jeep you probably do too the gaskets they give you are absolute garbage but their kits are great.) I absolutely would recommend them to anyone and will take my other car there to get an exhaust made as well!

He recommended that I put on the same mufflers on my hot rod Camero that he had on his truck which he fired up for me so I could hear them myself. Awesome sounding & Menno gave me at great deal $$.Menno had me come down into the pit & showed me the underside of my Camero that I just bought & pointed out two exhaust leaks that needed to be welded. Menno had his welder, Danny, weld the exhaust pipes to fix the leaks at no charge!Menno also recommended a smog shop & a tire center that both did me right.Thanks for the FIVE STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE Menno.....👊......👍.....

I went to get my brakes changed at 1130am they close at 1pm, and I was told that they could PROBABLY look at them today, but would not be able to do anything today. WTH.
