Great little bead shop. Small, with a big selection. You’re bound to find something you like and need while browsing here! Whether you’re stamping or stringing this is a place I highly recommend you visit! I know they have had classes in the past, just not sure on current schedules with COVID and all. Be sure to call and ask!

My best friend and I stop in every time we’re in Jackson. They have some items I’ve never seen before, which is quite unusual, because I have a studio full of beads and accoutrement. I love their collection of colored hematite.I’m not dissatisfied with the prices.The guest who complained that she spent “like $100” on only three things was certainly welcome to leave them there and keep her money.

We had a perfect afternoon at village beads yesterday! I arranged a class for my niece and her four daughters (ages 12-17) and I have to say it was an absolutely wonderful afternoon! Ann and Joy were so great with the girls who had never done any type of beading! They helped them make good bead choices, taught them basic bead making techniques, then very patiently lead then through the process. They watched carefully, offered advice, helped when needed, and inspected to make each item was finished off properly. Each student made a pair of earrings and a necklace, then, they were having so much fun they also made a bracelet. Went into the store for the first time and was welcomed by everyone. I let the staff know that was my first time there, and one of them showed me around where everything was. Went a second time to get jewelry making advice and lady staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The store has tons of jewelry making supplies. All of good quality. I will be making more frequent purchase and class visits.

Very nice selection of beads and findings. The staff seem very sweet. The prices are the only drawback. But you get what you pay for. I have never beeb disappointed with the quality of the items I have purchased.

This is a shop that deserves a bit of time to browse and think about what you want to create. Theres a large selection of beads and all the essentials for making earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. You can use the shops tools for a nominal fee if you dont want to purchase your own (although they sell those too) or take a class, also for a fee. Some items are not priced and so be sure to ask if its something like cord before its measured and cut. Also, checkout can be a bit slow if the folks in the store are with others in a class (I invariably wait several minutes before someone rings up my purchase). Overall a really great shop.

This where they love meeeee! They never fail at being knowledgeable about the stones, materials, process or the making the Jewelry and beads they carry! But they treat me like the star I strive to be, I use to think I got special treatment but I noticed how they treat everyone with the same love and personalized suggestions and one on one experience. Jim, his wife Joan and Mrs. Anne are a near holy trinity of kindness, jewelers to the stars as the art superstars each at what they do!! You will love it here very clean, organized and friendly environment! You will leave sparkling a little more inside and as well as out! Its worth going in, tell the SHERMEL SENT YOU! Im a beader and im from Buffalo NY here in Mississippi visiting my family and wanted to come and shop, my family and I felt so uncomfortable and unwanted at village beads my be because were African American please do better with customer service
