Other than the fact that they towed my vehicle with a valid parking pass in it and I still had to pay to have it released back to me, oh they were great! The lady that did wait on me was very nice & polite. I guess so. Towing companies along with insurance companies are legal mafias.
I have never witnessed such horrible customer service. I spoke to three representatives who were rude and did not know where my car was towed, I had a worker tell me that there was no point in talking to a manager because they would tell me the same thing he was telling me. I have never experienced such horrible service. I spoke to the manager who said this was a bad time for hiring good people. If you can please go with another company, this company is so embarrassing to work with.
Towed my friends car from her own parking lot even though its registered. In the middle of the night, mind you. Because it was there earlier in the evening.
Car towing or auto theft? I know they were trying to make next months rent it had to be the reason. Towing my car out of my complex parking lot while I had a DECAL, my car is paid for and my stickers are updated even in during COVID a national pandemic. They had no reason to take my car so it was THEFT not a tow, they won’t be open much longer the thing is it takes me just a couple phone calls to support the betterment of the city of Richmond and to have the business shut down. This is not a business, they’re crooks. I’ve been towed before, honestly all were well warranted so I paid moved on but not this experience at all! This was theft and I have proof and support. Poor business ethics! We know you took the sticker out of my car to cover it up no worries, and I have proof just a spineless business.
Receptionist assured us that our appointment was at 1 PM. The driver didnt arrive until 15 minutes after 1 PM. There were 2 other appointments on-site. If there are multiple people, you should stagger the appointments. As for payment, cash or card were what we were offered. He couldnt break the bills and curtly said we could go up to Wawa. I paid with a card, but if your team cant break bills than I wouldnt offer cash as an option. And lastly, my car was highly parked into the lot. I had to ding my mirror and car door to access my drivers side door. I recognize that theres a lot of other cars, but maybe just be respectful of the car and peoples time.
I agree with Desii Newman. This is not a business. It is a predatory money scam and should be shut down. My husband is a 27 year veteran and was out tonight delivering packages with a clearly marked Amazon sticker on the front and back of the vehicle and his hazards on and after a package drop off returns to his vehicle gone. Towed by On Time. The officer that responded also agreed it was not right. He was just trying to put food on the table. They are leeches. Doing 12 on your side and city of Richmond tomorrow to see how they get away with this predatory practice.
The woman at the desk was very nice, it was a quick and easy process to get my car back after it got towed
I was delivering packages for Amazon and the vehicle was clearly marked and hazards on. I’m a 27 year veteran trying to put food on the table and this is what they do.it’s a shame they try and capitalize on people and prey on the disadvantaged.
Anytime you have to drive around looking for tows in the middle of the night something shady is going on. Very ghetto and unprofessional. All apartment complexes who have contracts with them should SERIOUSLY reconsider before renewing.
From speaking with their delightful receptionist to the driver of the truck giving me a courtesy call to let me know he was picking up the car, On Time Towing is exceptional.
Charged me a fair price and the receptionist was great on the phone.
Dispatcher is very disrespectful! Terrible customer service! Called and tried to locate my car and dispatcher kept hanging up on me!
If i could give a negative star i would. Thay are ineffective, inefficient. Left a pregnant woman stranded, then refused to accommodate a pick up time. Late torture vehicle. Thats how this place treats pregnant women and servicemen.
Look, I get it: tow companies have a job to do. I won’t fault them for that. I have been towed a few other times in my life. While unpleasant, these incidents were a natural consequence of parking in the wrong spot. I had no one to truly blame but myself. That is not the case here.It was my FIRST NIGHT in my new apartment. Earlier that day, while moving in, I texted my property manager for my building to inquire about the parking situation. My apartment has a designated lot and I was concerned because I hadn’t received a parking pass. The property manager explained that he had run out of passes and ordered more; in the meantime, he assured me, the tow company would not be monitoring the lot. I could park anywhere.Imagine my surprise when I witnessed my car being towed away as I was walking my dog later that night. Despite frantically waving my arms, shouting at the driver, and marching in the direction of my car, the driver disappeared into the night. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they didn’t see me, but I fear they noticed me and just didn’t care. I won’t draw any conclusions about that, but feel free to do as you please.I immediately contacted my property manager and called the tow company. Unable to reach either, I began to panic. As a young woman alone in a new city and starting a new job, I cannot emphasize how important it is that I have my vehicle. The next morning, I called the tow company to confirm they had my car, as they had not responded to my voicemail from the night before. I explained the parking pass situation to the man who answered the phone. At this point, I had not heard back from my property manager, and wasn’t sure who was at fault. I didn’t expect any sympathy from the tow company employee, so I wasn’t surprised when I didn’t get any. That’s fine, really. He just seemed like a real “matter-of-fact” type of guy that has probably heard hundreds of excuses. However, I was shocked when he told me that I could only pick up my car between 1pm and 1:30pm that day (Sunday). I scrambled to make arrangements for a ride. Why such a small window? Staffing availability, or something more nefarious? It seems like a good way to twist the arms of motorists and force them into a situation where they must wait until the following day to pick up their vehicle. Of course, the impounding fee increases daily. Hmmm. How convenient. That same morning, my property manager reached out to me as he was contacting the owner of the tow company. Lo and behold, On Time Towing was COMPLETELY TO BLAME for this situation. They were, in fact, NOT supposed to tow from the lot. Someone dropped the ball and there must have been significant internal miscommunication. The tow company owner apologized to my property owner, although I feel this whole ordeal warrants a personal apology.I am graciously giving On Time Towing 2 stars despite everything. Why? One female employee I briefly spoke to was very pleasant, and I want to give her (and only her) credit for that. Also, On Time Towing did return my car. Keep in mind that this is the very bare minimum they could have done given their mistake. While I am grateful I did not have to pick up my car or pay anything, I should have never been towed in the first place. This entire situation and subsequent stress could have been avoided. On Time Towing—please do better. Make sure all employees are aware of any changes. Pick up the phone when people call your hotline, and if this isn’t possible, return voicemails. This mess was resolved, yes, but once again, this should not have happened to begin with.
Jason going out of his way to help someone in need should be rewarded
I parked in Richmond and followed the instructions on the sign and went to the food store (cold stone etc) and they towed my car but never did it instruct that you had to have a sticker or anything and mind you I stayed on the strip the entire time but never again will I EVER RETURN TO RICHMOND. Change the signs to state that you need to have a sticker they are crooks I’m 30 weeks pregnant and was my first time to Richmond so I was lost
Zero stars if I could. Theyre the worst. They stole my car and my car jack, destroyed the front of my van. And broke into my car. Ripped off my axel butchered my tire rod broke my tail light dropped my car on the transmission and engine. Then made me pay extra after refusing to give me my car.
They towed my rental car because it didnt have a parking sticker. But they dont even come every night . I had to give them 160 to get it back.
Look Im sure if you need a tow these guys are fine but if youve been towed by them be prepared to be robbed with no sympathy whatsoever. It cost 165 dollars to get my car back and when I tried to explain my situation I got hung up on and had to look up the address online.
This tow company is one of those tow companies you would not be surprised to see on the news for shady towing practices
I purchased a vehicle from this place for a reasonable price but there was always some problem with payment and their office hours. I have come to this business multiple times and was told no one is there and they are not sure when they’ll return. I finally was able to get someone in this office to payoff my vehicle and get my title for an employee to tell me they lost my title and now I gotta wait for it. Very unprofessional black owned business. They make up hours and times when they’ll come in .Not reliable at all .
These crooks literally hot wired my car because I left it unlocked. You are actually the worst humans on earth
Im here because of the posting about Jason. Thank you Jason for helping that young disabled man!......You Rock!!
Told me one price on the phone (thats how much cash money I brought with me) but when I got there it was a different amount. I asked about it and was told it was a mistake but the higher amount stands. I asked to speak to the manager the young lady at the front window went to the back and called her on the phone without giving me a chance to speak to her.
They Literally took my car while I was in the hospital for an anxiety attack. They are so inhuman and act like they can’t do things. The people there have no human decency and prey on people in Richmond. DURING A PANDEMIC. They steal from the people of Richmond and act like they are doing a service. They don’t care about people or what you have going on in your life. I hope they go under for theft I will make sure of it.
Awesome, when traveling will use again if needed
Responded in a timely manner, and the staff was very professional.
The guy tried to scam me by charging me $390 for my car back and since the registration was under my moms name they said she had to come get it or send a notarized letter. Okay, fine thats not very reasonable but company policy. Then he tells me if it doesnt happen by 5pm the price goes up to $425. So I do my best to get it in on time and come back 1 hour later to a different guy assisting me who only charges me $160. So obviously whoever the first person was that helped me (seemed like the owner) was trying to illegally scam me. Just a warning for anyone else being towed!
My apartments management hired these guys....I never ever see them...couldnt access parking where we pay rent, called them and female dispatch told me basically Do what I gotta do when I displayed disappointment in services. I figure anyone can use the tenants parking at this point because they wont show up. HiIarious
I had a friend visit my apartment, when they went to leave later that night, we found her car had been towed!!! My friend is handicap and parked as best as should could in the handicap spot that is “ marked” she can’t park on the street... when dealing with this company they require the registered owner of the car, which I can not find in VA state laws and the manger could not provide the statue code for such law! And then to find they are going to charge me 166 to get my friends car back. Work with this company has been an absolute nightmare and if you think about using them to regulate your apartment complex I would find a different one or you are going to lose your renters...
Love to rip you off like pretty much every towing company. That’s the business model.
Congratulations on an exceptional employee named Jason. He went above and beyond to help a quadriplegic whose modified van had a tire damaged. Well done Jason.
I advise everyone to report them to the BBB at this point.
I just wanted to say, thank you, to Jason. He was featured on the “The Pay It Forward Effect” Facebook page, for going above and beyond. I wish you and Jason blessings and continued success.
Incredibly rude and unprofessional, if you have the misfortune to have your car towed by them do not expect any assistance from the company. They wont even tell you if it was them that towed your car, youll have to contact the police to find out. They towed my car in the time it took me to return from bringing in groceries while I had a broken foot, then hung up on me twice when I attempted to find out where it had gone. Do not voluntarily use their services under any circumstances.
This place towed my car yesterday ILLEGALLY from my complex and offered no apology for the inconvenience they caused. I got a ride that night to the company and they told me I could not get my car. I took an Uber that morning to the company so I wouldn’t be hours late for work. I called this morning and they told me it would be $164.00 which I planned to dispute. When I got there, Adrian simply said ‘oh you can follow me around back to get your car. I follow her to the back and then said oh there is no charge she says ‘no.’ I looked over my car and pulled up to her to ask why, which I already knew. She says ‘the apartment complex changed the towing time from 6pm to 9pm.’ Which is a LIE. They picked my car up around 6:30. They saw a nice car and was hoping to make a few dollars before they realized they could be sued because my lawyer was most certainly on standby. This is a completely unprofessional predatory towing company!Reply: You all should have investigated and completed your due diligence from the beginning and never picked my car up. You then should have explained the ‘internal issue’ you had when I came to your office as well as offered an apology at that time. Unless you all plan to reimburse my money for two unnecessary trips and time away from work, what is an investigation for? Good day.
Neva ok to get your car towed period 125 for one day period
I couldn’t recommend this company anymore! I was pleasantly surprised with such an easy experience after contacting them at the last minute to get help having a vehicle towed in poor weather conditions. Price was fair and they were courteous and professional. 5 stars!
I cannot say enough positive words about this company. Professional, courteous, and prompt. They came to my rescue and towed me out of my subdivision after 3 days of trying. I live on a very steep hill which was ice and snow covered. At first it didnt look promising as my car was pretty far down. But they didnt give up. Thank you so much to the entire staff at On Time Towing. You are all amazing!!!!!!!!!!
I came by twice today at their convenience, one at 5:30 and they told me to come back at 9. Again, they weren’t here and now I’m waiting for the driver. They were completely u helpful in the phone, refusing to give me an eta and unapologetic for the inconvenience. Absolutely the worst experience
Very helpful and friendly once you get there. The after hours receptionist was very rude however.
My friend literally had an anxiety attack and they took her car without reason. They are a scam and not to be trusted
Was told that a tow truck would arrive with 45 minutes, its been over 2 hours and still havent been picked up. I have called several times to check on the status of the tow truck and to have one call answered to be told 5 more minutes a hour ago. Did i mention that i only needed a tow 5 minutes away and im being charged $80! Worst tow company ive delt with period. Wouldnt recommend anyone to use this service. Unprofessional
Best rate I could find after calling around 10 other places. The driver was very nice and kept me informed, he even was kind enough to come get my keys from me to give to my mechanic since I was stuck at home. Great place, would use again if Im ever in a pinch.
My experience with On Time Towing has been a horrible one. The only person that worked to resolve my issue quickly was the supervisor, but as for the receptionist and the tow-truck driver, there is much to be desired. My car was wrongfully towed from the visitor spot at my apartment complex. I called inquiring about my car around 8:30am and being provided with pictures, but I was informed that I would have to come in to view the pictures and dispute my car being towed. Which is understandable. But the fact it took 40 minutes for the receptionist to receive the photos of my car I inquired about THAT MORNING was unprofessional. Why the drivers arent required to send in their photos to the company within a set time limit after towing a vehicle is BEYOND me!!! Also, if the receptionist found that it was taking the tow truck driver too long to respond, my dispute should have been escalated to the supervisor in a more timely manner. Because after showing me the photos and me pointing out to the receptionist that you can see a part of the lettering of the word Visitors and her saying she sees something but cant tell what it is, and stating that the driver said that I wasnt parked in visitors.she THEN called the supervisor who took 1 hour to show up. By the time he showed up, the driver still did not contact the company back, and the supervisor found that my car was wrongfully towed.I was offered nothing for wasting 2 hours of my time. The integrity of the tow-truck driver is very questionable because it took him so long to send in the photos he had (I wouldnt be surprised if he cropped them) and he told the receptionist that I wasnt parked in visitors. Even though Im pretty sure after he put my car on his truck he could clearly see that the space said Visitors. So when dealing with this company please take pictures of where your vehicle was towed from so you can compare it with their photos because the trustworthiness of their drivers (at least the one who towed my car) is VERY questionable.
We had a car that was parked in our assigned spot in our private garage lot overnight. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and didnt call it in until late morning, but they were still parked there. Towing truck came in without any problem. We called them and twenty minutes later they came quickly. Their maneuverability within the tight parking deck was impressive; they moved the car around without damaging it or hitting other parked cars in the cramped area. They left with a thumbs up and we thanked them for their service. Dont know how they are if you are the one getting your car towed, but having them tow a car for you was an efficient and impressive process.
If I could give less than 1 star I would . Their customer service is HORRIBLE .
Finally! I called various towing companies over the weekend as my truck was stuck in our underground parking deck. Everyone said that they couldnt help me. Our building manager gave me the name of On Time Towing. They came out quickly and got my truck out. The driver was a very nice man, very helpful. I would definitely recommend On Time Towing.
On-Time Towing stole my car from my apartment complex parking lot.The staff was rude, told us they werent allowed to give the name of their supervisor when asked and told us they make commission based off the number of cars they tow from our apartment parking lot!It all started when I went out to my car on a Sunday morning and couldnt find my car only to find out On-Time Towing (who monitors our apartment lot) stole my car. Yes - STOLE my car. I always have my parking pass in my rear view mirror and have no reason to remove it. I have had it in the same spot since I moved in a year ago. Funny thing, the tag (even with all windows down) HAS NEVER FELL. So, when I call On-Time Towing (because thats the only thing I thought could be possible to happen) the gentleman who answered confirmed they towed my car and they were only open for ONE HOUR (1pm-2pm) and could pick up my car then (in Scotts Addition). He also said I could review photos that were taken the night they took my car to see my tag wasnt hanging in my mirror and could only view it from 9am-10am at their office south of town. We get there and the photos confirmed my tag wasnt hanging on my rear view. Still frustrated, we call the non-emergency police and discuss the situation with them. Funny thing is, they confirmed how awful of a tow company On-Time Towing is. They also said they receive calls all the time and cant believe how On-Time Towing is still in business. Unfortunately, since our situation is a civil matter, they could not do anything. Later, we go to the lot to pick up my car in Scotts Addition. We met another woman who also was upset with On-Time Towing stating they took her car illegally as well. The same worker who met us at the office showed up at 1:15pm. My husband goes to my car only to find out - MY CAR WAS UNLOCKED. Living in the city, I NEVER leave my car unlocked. We also conveniently found my parking pass tucked in between the drivers seat and center console - a place where it could not have fallen and I know I did not put it there. I take the pass to the worker and show him asking why they unlocked my car and hid my tag. He gave THREE... yes THREE different stories of what probably happened...Story #1: My emergency brake was on so they had to get in to take my emergency brake off. I NEVER USE MY EMERGENCY BRAKE - especially in my flat apartment parking lot.Story #2: Someone probably broke in and removed my tag.Story #3: That I forgot to lock my car and someone got into my car to take my parking pass. I just want to know what website people are trying to sell apartment parking passes. All of them sounded incredibly dumb. Obviously, we were not happy. After we told him those were to the dumbest things weve ever heard my husband asked if they make commission off the number of cars they tow and the worker said YES! This just confirmed that On-Time Towing STOLE my car. They charged us $200. Once we were handed the paperwork from the night my car was towed, I looked at the time it was towed. My car was towed at 11pm. We see On-Time Towing start to AGGRESSIVELY tow around 5pm Friday & Saturday nights. Our lot is not that big so Im unsure why it took them FIVE hours to tow my car if my tag wasnt visible like they say.On-Time Towing is a predatory tow company. Also, Im not the only one this happened to at our apartment complex. After speaking with our apartment complex about this, they reviewed video surveillance and said they are no cameras facing the lot I was parked in. They also gave us the owners name & phone number. We called Joey and left a message never to hear from him. Thanks Joey - you run an awful predatory company that must be struggling since you STEAL cars for a living and call it a business.
My sisters car got towed from downtown while at work. We called and scheduled an appointment to get the car back and they told us to meet at this location at 5:40pm. We show up on time for the appointment and they made us aware her car was not there. They took it a different location. They had us wait while they retrieved the car. An hour later the car arrives. We asked if we could receive a discount since we waited an hour for the car. They said no but we will take $5 off for a 5 star review on Google. Well here is your review! Maybe you should change your name from “On Time” Towing to “On Our Time” Towing. I wouldn’t use this company if they were the only company in a 100 mi radius.
They towed my car out of my apartment lot, which started off as a bad day. Once I arrived, we realized the battery was dead! They saw that I was having a rough day and jumped my car free of charge. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The young lady behind the desk is AMAZING! Thankful that my car was in such good hands. I would give ten stars if I could!
Unfortunately I was towed however was directed to come to the building at 8 am and staff was friendly and prompt. Stern but I was able to handle my business in a timely manor. Had no hassle of obtaining my car back.
A friend of mine double parked my car after a long night out. This morning I received a WARNING sticker on my driver side window for being double parked. It was fairly large and incredibly hard to take off. After calling On Time and asking them about the sticker, they offered to remove it for free. I went to the Jefferson David location and a man removed the sticker in less than ten minutes. Im extremely fortunate they didnt tow my car! I definitely will not let my friend park my car ever again - WARNING received!
I have used their services twice Jason is very good and careful with my truck
Highly recommend! Being forced to have something towed can be very overwhelming. They put me at ease and were super professional. I trust them 100%. Such an easy experience!
This company is wonderful. I had a very bad experience with another driver and my vehicle was damaged beyond drivability. They came to the scene and assisted me and got myself and my car to a shop where it could get repaired. They came fast to the accident and were very polite and courteous. I am grateful that I had their number. I would recommend this company to my family and friends if they ever needed a tow. Thank you On Time!!!
Got my vehicle impounded here for parking without a pass at a friends apartment. the young lady who released the vehicle was so sweet and efficient. couple of drivers around who all seemed to be as happy as you can be at work. they were nothing but helpful. wouldnt do that again but I have the feeling theyd be great to call if you need a tow.
I would definitely use this towing service again. I broke down on the highway near 64 west and 95 north and On Time was there in about 20 minutes. The driver was very nice and understanding. I recommend this company to anyone who needs prompt service!
This is the second time Using this company. I got the same person both times. The tow guy did a great job both times. Very respectful guy. This company will get all my towing.
I was towed on Saturday around 7pm after going into my apartment for 6 minutes (It was my fault, I shouldnt have parked there.) I called immediately. I was told to call back next day at 9am Sunday. I called from 9-9:30am. No answer - No voicemail option. Looked online this morning & saw that theyre open for 30 min on Sundays (Hours listed 9am-9:30am) I had a ride, but I had no idea where to go! I was told by the lady Saturday night that my car would be at 90 Westwood. Turns out it was actually at the Jeff Davis location and they were open around 12pm, which I only found out by reading another comment/answer on here and then taking my chances by driving there.Really unfortunate that they dont answer the phone or provide accurate hours. It was a very stressful morning, horribly disorganized, and honestly one of the worst towing experiences Ive had.
Always on time
Very unprofessional. One lady wasnt rude.
Driver arrived remarkably close to the 45 minute ETA that was given! He maneuvered the truck like it was a 2 door coupe! The dispatcher was pleasant, as well as the driver. I hope I won’t have to utilize the services of a tow truck again, but if I do, I will be sure to call these guys first!
They steal your car from directly in front of your own apartment. I have been towed from my own apartment 3 times in only 2 years. Unethical practices and unprofessional staff. Returned from our first vacation in 3 years to find my car stolen by this company. Actually started to file police report because I couldn’t imagine it was towed (didn’t even consider possibility) and was very distressed. Ruined our vacation. Told them to keep the car after they tacked on “storage fees.” Unbelievable that companies like this allowed to remain open and need to be investigated by better business bureau.
Terrible service, terrible people, and never on time.Worst people I’ve ever had to talk to in my life.
From out of town and parked in Cary St. Station parking lot to go to PBR for 45 min... Called the towing company (apparently a 24hrs hotline?). Rediculous that it is barely marked with private parking and where it is marked its dark with no lights... Such a scam. I understand to not park in private parking but if the area is not clearly stated as private parking, how are we supposed to know...Well clearly its an issue, since there are MANY poor reviews that address the poor litted signage. I dont care if it meets minimum standards, it clearly just makes you more money!
Took them no time to come and get my car and the tow truck driver Marcus was very professional
Getting your car towed always sucks but 99% of the time, and as in my case, I parked somewhere I wasnt supposed to and got towed. The guy I called from the number on the sign in the parking lot was very professional and called me sir even when Im sure he could tell I was frustrated. He gave me the info as to when I could pick up my car and I arrived the next morning first thing and they were open on time and the lady behind the counter was kind and helpful and I got my car out in 5 minutes with no issues. The people leaving bad reviews need to look at themselves. Ive never been towed parking somewhere Im allowed to park. Thanks for the helpful and professional experience even though its never fun being towed.
Unhonest, stealing company. Im still furious about how they stole my purse out of my trunk on my birthday after towing my friends car and proceeded to lie about it and say someone else stole it out of the trunk after we definitely locked the car and the the police were parading outside the club doors. Ha yeah right... Super sketchy and when I made the police report the officer even said this happens often with this same towing company and they were starting to investigate because of other claims from other people. So beware! I didnt know it was that hard to be honest and have morals, especially knowing you might be caught soon.... And pretty sure the manager knows whats going on and is crooked just like his staff. I see a review on here that says their doors were unlocked and their parking pass was taken. Our doors were unlocked too after we picked the car up. They literally break into your car. If youre looking for a towing company, DO NOT COME HERE. Im surprised they havent been sued yet
Always good service and great prices
Predatory towing!! I was towed from a parking spot that was not posted as private parking, not were signs posted upon entering or exiting the area that towing was enforced there (Cary St Station, middle of lot, signs were posted on two buildings with certain spots marked by signs - majority of lot appeared to be open. So far I have found people were towed that night for parking there and going to PBR between 6-8pm. I’m seeking others as clearly I am not the only one who did not see adequately posted signs to warn of towing. Car was parked there two hours or less (not sure when they towed it). When I started calling after walking around to find any nearby towing notices I was hung up on. Twice. I was told it was my fault and to ‘learn to look for signs next time’.
One of the WORST towing experiences I’ve ever had. Unprofessional, rude, horrible customer service, and uncompassionate above all. Avoid this place at all costs. My girlfriend’s car got towed from my apartment complex even though I got her a guest pass. The pass must have fallen off the dashboard when we opened the car as it was very windy one day and we didn’t notice. When I call and tell them that there is a parking permit in the car, they say its their right to tow if they can’t clearly see the permit. They show us some blurry pictures of the dashboard as proof and charge us $160. We go to their office (which is only open from 10-1pm on Saturdays and 9-930 on Sundays!!!) and ask to pickup the car. This is where things really went off the rails. The car is not in my girlfriend’s name, it is in her Mom’s. They require a NOTARIZED note, with picture ID, from her Mom in order to pickup the car. Her mom has MS, is disabled, and the closest notary that is open on a Saturday is 30 mins away. We get her on the phone and have her tell the workers (Adrianne and Joey) that she consent to give the car and that she would have to arrange a driver to take her to Wal-Mart if a notarized note is required. They are completely unwilling to accept this and demand the notarized note. She eventually makes it to Wal-Mart to get a letter notarized, but before she gets there we are informed that the office is closing EARLY at 12:30pm. They tell us to call a number to set-up an appointment to come, but the only time to come back is at 5pm during a shift change. We had tickets to go to apple picking in Charlottesville, so our daily plans are ruined. Throughout our interactions the staff was rude, unwilling to compromise, and are complete scam artist who have horrible office hours to try and charge overnight lot fees. Avoid at ALL COSTS. I am going to my apartment complex to resolve the situation monetarily and tell them to seek another tow company with better reviews.
Any company that uses this service is equally ratable as a one star, deplorable business. There are other towing companies in the area that have better business practices and set better hours. Do your research! Our vehicle was towed Saturday night when we were in from out of town, with a 30 minute window pick up time on Sunday. We showed up, but the business people didnt. No way to get in touch with them using the listed phone number during or after posted hours. This is still a fresh issue. The car is still locked up in the lot with no currently evident way to collect it before Monday, meaning a delay in traveling home, a potential additional days lot fee (which will result in legal action if they try that), and no way of getting around freely in an unfamiliar town.I get it. Parking in a spot during unallowable hours puts us at fault and puts money in their pocket. The principle behind them not being available/reachable during posted business hours to accept said fee and release our vehicle is unacceptable. I am not complaining about the fee Im being charged for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.I can see they have few to no good reviews with no apparent replies on how they intend to improve themselves, so again, I hold the businesses who use them equally accountable as unprofessional and irresponsible due to the fact that they are doing business with this corporation after such poor reviews. Its not as though MY avoiding hiring them is bad for their business, but if enough professional establishments didnt hire them, then perhaps theyd change for the better, or an organization not making the grade could get put out of business like any of them should.
The absolute worst Tow company. I been having company stay over for nights at a time, and their employees pick and choose when they want to do their job. I have gave my company a pass to stay over and they towed her car because the date was not circled however she has stayed here plenty of nights before with out having a date circled. We called back to speak with the manager about the employees but the office assistant claimed he was not there when she originally placed us on hold to speak with him. That was a lie, Im pretty sure he was there but chose to tell her he was not. The next step is I will be contacting the BBB to inform them about how all employees are not doing things accordingly. This is the second time a visitor car was towed after I gave them a pass the first time they claim it was not a pass in the car when really the pass was in there but again one of the employees failed to even look good enough for the pass. This is not the last time they will hear about this.
Great service need it my car towed to dealership was fast very customer service oriented driver was polite and they got there 20 min after my call !!
Horrible....very dishonest company. My car was parked in the private lot where I work and I had a valid parking pass. They still towed my car. When I went to pick up the car they even showed me the picture of the parking pass which is visible in the photo. The manager claimed it was not visible enough for the tow driver to see yet the tow driver had to get into my car in order to tow. When I picked up my car, the parking pass was moved indicating that the tow driver would have had a second opportunity to see the pass. So the claim that the pass was not visible enough was bogus. This is also being reported to the Chamber of Commerce, Better Business Bureau, social media, etc. This company should not be allowed to operate.
When I called the guy on the phone he quoted me a flat rate for my tow. I thought well when the driver gets out here it will probably change by then. To my surprise when the driver arrived(On time might I add) the price I had been quoted on the phone was the same. He had my car hooked up quick, was friendly and even dropped me off at my house a couple blocks away. I would recommend them.
Best experience Ive had with a towing company. Theyre there when you need them
Great service! For a towing company they are really accommodating and understanding!
Great in-house customer service at on-time towing. Wonderful experience 🤗
For a towing company they are very understanding and try their hardest to help you get your car back!
Suck they set you up be aware
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! TOWED MY CAR OUT OF MY OWN LOT- WITH MY PARKING PASS ON THE DASHBOARD. WHEN I CALLED ABOUT IT THEY TOLD ME THEY HAD IT AND THAT THEY HAD PICTURES FROM THE LOT THAT MY PARKING PASS WAS NOT ON THE DASHBOARD......... WHEN WE GO TO PICK IT UP THEY SOME HOW LOST THE PICTURES AND NONE OF MY 2 PARKING PASSES WERE ON THE DASHBOARD ANYMORE!!!!!! LIARS AND THIEVES-- FILING POLICE REPORT ON THEM BREAKING INTO MY VEHICLE.
Be real careful with these folks all about money
Did they tow my car out of my assigned spot? Yes. After looking at the facts of the situation, the owner called me personally and refunded the entirety of the amount due. Everyone makes mistakes, accountability for those mistakes is what matters. Reasonable and accountable.
They were prompt, very helpful, will be back
Jake was awesome!!! Here a CubeSmart 6538
Just dishonest, unprofessional, and sketchy. I am willing to bet that the positive reviews are by their own people. Otherwise you can see everyone else has negative things to say. Message me if you want specifics, but avoid at all costs. They are nasty people and they will damage your car. They will get away with whatever they can get away with. I really hope these people go out of business soon for how terrible these people are. They will try to intimidate, and exhort you. Quite frankly, I am surprised that no one has said that they felt that they were racist to non-African American people.
Im a auto dealer and I know the auto industry and these are the biggest scammers out there! DO NOT USE, THEY ARE CROOKS AND THIEVES! TELL EVERYBODY
My car was towed from my paid parking space on the property where I live. The person who works on Sunday morning was great and very understanding. However, he was not the manager so I had to pay $95 to get my car back. He gave me the number to call to speak with the manager, now this morning I spoke with one of the Managers named Wallace and all I can say is terrible customer service I am trying to get to the bottom of what happened because my parking pass has been removed and all this Wallace can tell me is that they have procedures and this is a business. I understand that. I was also asked if I saw pictures of my car when I picked it up and the part time driver they said was on the job will send the pictures today. There is something fishy going on, but the thing that upsets me is the way I was spoken to over the phone when I inquired about my car. I was being as professional and nice as possible.. After all I did have to pay $95 to get my car back from a space that I already pay for and my doors were opened and parking pass was gone when I retrieved my car
Over 3hrs and still counting for someone to show up!! On a Monday wow. Horribly disgustingly disappointed.I get the urgent police call my first call to you was at 7:21 p.m. I called back two more times and nobody told me nothing about emergency calls until 11 something at night which was the last time I called and you and u guys had my phone number and nobody called me to tell me that I could be waiting that long also this is not the first time this has happened to me this is actually the third time this has happened where I have called and called and called and either nobody showed up or I have no idea what happened because it was multiple hours later theres a reason why this company has barely three stars and multiple ontime complaints such as nobody being in the office at scheduled times to pick up cars as other customers complained thats the problem where the customers and theres barely any customer service like another customer said if I could give this a zero or negative Stars I would so i hope this review steers people clear of this company horrible company just horrible multiple experiences with this company
My car was towed yesterday in a unmarked area with no signs or nothing around to tell me that the area my car was in was private parking I parked on the street at that and still got towed smh
I recommend this company to anyone who needs prompt service!
June 4, 2017 My car was towed and I was told that I could pick it up when they open at 9am. I arrived at 9:15 and no one was there. I called the number that I called the night before and was told very rudely that my appointment slot was for 9am and that they will not release it until 12 or 12:30pm. I was never told that they release cars by appointments only and I called Richmond Police to make a report. This business is a scam and they have unethical business practices! Im warning everyone to make sure that this company suffers like I did! I wish the worst in life to the people who run this company for taking advantage of the public!
I wake up to a car alarm going right in front of my building at 2:00AM. Its going off for an easy 10 minutes before it subsides. A few minutes later, an alarm goes off again. I get dressed to check it out and its this tow company trying (and failing) to tow someones car at 2:00AM. The guy clearly had no idea what he was doing, and couldnt have cared less about the residents in my building who were trying to sleep. Inconsiderate, incompetent. Will certainly never hire them!
I had a flat tire and was stuck on side of the road. I called several tow companies and they didnt have a flat truck, one of the tow companies referred me to ON Time Towing. They were at my location in twenty minutes. They even took me to the tire shop!!!! Two Thumbs Up
Great service
The receptionist is sweet and has good customer service.
This is a horrible company. They tow on Sunday mornings in abandoned lots. They will tow you 2 minutes after parking there and bring your car only a block away, waiting for you to call. If you ever see this sign, stay away from the lot. They charge a ridiculous price to get your car back after driving it 1 block away for 5 minutes. Its not like they tow the people parked illegally in front of fire hydrants or people with handicapped signs who are clearly not disabled.
Thieves towed my car then when I picked it up my iphone 7 that i left there is missing and also the 20+ quarters that I’ve been saving for emergency gas money. You should be ashamed and you guys tried to hotwire my car too and you messed up everything inside form documents
