I love this place MAKE SURE TO SEE KIM 😍😍

The fact that I have to write this review deeply saddens me but I will never be coming back to this nail salon. My nails were fine but the customer service is very poor at this establishment, a friend of mine and I went to go get our nails done together and the older lady was very rude to my friend (who is a person of color) from the very start and when my friend tried to ask her about prices she completely ignored her even when another customer ( who is also a person of color) tried to ask for her. The atmosphere in this salon is not friendly nor inviting. It really bothered me the way she treated my friend but I couldn’t leave because she had already started on my nails by that point. I just really feel that her behavior was beyond ridiculous and uncalled for, no one should be treated differently because of their skin color period. I do not suggest visiting this salon.

Today I went to LA Nails on Beulah Road. I’ve always been a customer here ( for years) and have always enjoyed my experiences. However today was very different. I arrived at LA Nails at 9:20 AM. When I arrived there were two other cars in the parking lot waiting for the nail salon to open. One of the cars pulled off leaving only another person (car) and myself. When the employees pull up and parked their cars, I asked the opener what time did the salon open. I stated that the sign on the door said 9:30am but I assumed because of Covid the open time could’ve been extend. The employee, In a confusing manner stated that she was going to get the shop ready and come back and let me know when they opened. A Caucasian mother and daughter speeds into the lot and rushes to make it in the door before me. I wouldn’t have minded the older woman going first, even though I had been there, but my time is valuable as well. The employee immediately seated them and told me to wait as I entered the salon. After asking me what services I wanted she proceeded to tell me to have a seat. I took issue with having to wait because I had already waited 40 minutes for you to arrive. Your establishment does not have an adjusted opening time posted. I took offense to the fact the we just had this conversation. I was the first person that employee saw this morning, therefore she acknowledged that I was one of the first people there. She then asked if I had made and appointment. I stated that there is nothing posted about appointments and asked if the everyone else had made any appointments. I felt like they were perfectly okay with losing my business versus doing good business, especially since I’m a loyal customer. But of course I was not the color to cater to today and my money wasn’t green enough. I personally have been turned off on the lack of customer service. To each it’s own. Some people may have their own interpretations, but my time is valuable also. When you have customers who are willing to drive and wait nearly a hour for you to open you should treat the more than fair. I passed at least 10 nail salons just to go to where I felt comfortable. Now, I no longer feel comfortable.

I went there 2 days ago to get my nails done professionally for thef first time and this was my first time getting acrylic. I went there with my sister as it was our day out. The lady sat my sister down first and about 20 mins later and then asked me what I wanted and I told her. Everything seemed fine until I noticed that she checking her phone everytime it made a noise, it’s none of my business but it seemed like she started to rush afterwards. My nails looked fine from my POV but once she put me at the dryer she immediately left, now mind you we called up there prior and asked if they accepted walk ins and they said yes, and I had finished my nails before my sister did and she sat down before I did. I get home a couple minutes later and actually look at my nails and they look horrible. The length is right but it’s not even, the acrylic looks bulky, she did two layers of pink and I can see where the second layer starts so it’s not blended, overall 1/5 stars

The nails wear to thin and any little thing that I do the tips brake off this was a waste of my money, not at all worth $40

Do not let the older lady do your nails. My nails looks like i had them done for a couple weeks. I asked the lady to not make my nails square and to paint my whole nail. She tellse shes professional and Im just the customer. A customer should know how they want their nails done. She argue with me instead of fixing the problem.

I went here for a manicure and to get my pedi done the other day. Tina did a great job removing my hangnails and dead cuticles. The salon is clean and friendly, and very fair priced compared to some of the other salons in the area. I did noticed that they took their time and didnt rush me like other places Im used to and for that, I look forward to coming back.

First of all, they don’t treat customer well and they want me to do gel nails instead of acliric nails and also they ask me to do eyebrows. because they want me to spend a lot of money. The price for acliric was $22 how ever they charge me $25. I don’t know why, They prefer to pay them cash!!!!.If you don’t give them a tip then next time they don’t treat you well and also they don’t work your nails perfectly. 🤬🤬🤬🤬

This bad review is because when I took my mother in, I very specifically and repeatedly told her to do the acrylic for $23 for my mother. The lady said, do gel. I said No, my mother asked for acrylic and I want you to do the acrylic, for the $23. When she was done she said it is gel. I said, we specifically had this conversation about doing acrylic and what if i didnt have the extra $9 and that is why i wanted that? NEVER going back, because I simply have very very little tolerance for bad business people.

Great shop just wish I could understand them better.

These people are too money hungry...they will change what they say the price is as it suits them. They are not friendly and only do an OK job on your nails. They rush what they are doing for you just to get the next $$ that arrives in the door!! They will never have my business again.

The most unprofessional and ghetto salon. I called and they told me they could do my nails and toes. I get here and they tell me they can not do them at 7:30 and I have no time to make it to another shop. This is the second time I have been here and they were just as unprofessional!!!!! I stopped going there a while ago, every time i went, i would always have a finger nail that was bleeding. They are not gentle at all! Waste of money foreal.

This is a real review on LA Nails. 1st off eyebrows are 7$ but if you use your card they charge you 10$ . ILLEGAL(when I threatened to report them to BBB they didnt charge my card 10$ but still why should I threaten someone to have ethical business practices . 2nd -- They have nail guides prepainted with solid bases and glittery finish but, dont have the base colors to emulate the same result.3rd -- I asked for a full set the lady had an attitude and put my set on so crooked and careless I soaked them off after a week . They dont care about details ... The only girl I will let touch my nails or eyebrows is the skinny, tall --tan complexeted Asian. She is very sweet and gentle. Never rushes and fixes mistakes with no attitude. Other than her I wouldnt ever go back . Mind you its been a month since my eyebrows have been waxed and Im dreading going to good ol L.A. Nails.

Had my nails done 3 weeks ago, it was the worst experience i ever had. They dont know how to dip your nails and they had my cuticles bleeding and swollen by the time i left. They will never get my buisness again!

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I WENT THERE B/C IT WAS CONVENIENTSINCE I WASNT ABLE TO GET TO MY NORMAL GUY. WELL IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY, TIME & GAS. BESIDES THEM TALKING RUDELY IN THEIR NATIVE TONGUE IN FRONT OF ME, THE ENTIRE TIME, THAT WAS JUST THE TOP OF THE ICE BURG. SHE JUST FILED DOWN MY OLD NAILS ALL ALONG MY CUTICLE LINE CUTTING THE HELL OUT OF ME. EACH OF MY FINGERS HAVE BEEN CUT BECAUSE SHE HAD TGE METAL FILE THAT THEY USE BEFORE USING THE FOAM ONE PRESSING DOWN HARD AS HELL AND TRYING TO PUSH MY SKIN BACK FURTHER THAN IT COULD GO. AFTER JERKING THREE TIMES, YOUD THINK A PERSON WOULD GET THE HINT THAT THEYRE HURTING YOU. NOT HER, SHE KEPT CUTTING MY CUTICLES AND ALL OF THE SkIN AROUND EACH AND EVERY NAIL. SHE ASKED ME HOW LONG, I SHOWED HER. NOTE, I HAD WHITE TIPPED PINK AND WHITE GEL NAILS BEFORE. DO YOU KNOW SHE DID NOT REMOVE THE OLD NAILS AT ALL, JUST FILED DOWN MY NAILS WITH THE ELECTRIC NAIL FILE WHICH WAS REALLY UNPLEASANT AND UNCOMFORTABLE AND NOT HOW YOU DO IT. THEY WERE SO JAGGED AND GOD AWFUL I COULDNT BELIEVE TYE AMOUNT OF LAZINESS. ONCE THAT WAS DONE SHE ADDED MORE ACRYLIC ON TOP OF MY OLD NAILS. YES, MY OLD NAILS. AND WHEN SHE APPLIED THE POLISH SHE MISSED THE SIDES OF ALL MY NAILS. SERIOUSLY? AND AFTER ASKING HER IF SHE WAS DOING IT RIGHT, WHICH I ALREADY KNEW SHE WASNT. SHE SAID WORD FOR WORD:IS RIGHT WAY, IS GOOD WRONG! IVE BEEN GETTING MY NAILS DONE FOR 13+ YEARS NOW, I KNOW HOW ITS DONE. ANYWAY WHEN IT WAS ALL SAID AND DONE WITH I WAS CHARGED WAY MORE THEN THE SERVICES THAT WERE RENDERED. $40+!!!! I ASKED HER TO TELL ME HOW IT CAME OUT TO BE $40+ I CAME IN FOR A FILL IN AND TWO NAILS TO BE FIXED AND THAT WAS IT. I ENDED UP PAYING $22 AND EVEN THAT WAS OVER THE TOP FOR A SERVICE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE $15. THEYRE A JOKE, AND THE PLACE IS DIRTY AND COVERED IN NAIL DUST AND EVERYTHING ELSE...ITS A WONDER THEYRE STILL IN BUSINESS!

I will never get my nails done there again. The customer service is terrible. The Technician gave me a terrible pedicure and had to redo my nails three times before the final finish and my nails looked terrible.

Had a nice time and the girl that did my nails was very friendly 😄

Been going here for years.. trust them for all services... I travel from the airport to this shop because i like their service and havent found another that suits me

The service was horrible.I was told that u cant get a massage in the chair but one time.I was rushed about everything and u had people sitting every where.I will not ever go back there again and I wont recommend no one to go there.

Just for color change regular color and an acrylic nail on my feet they charged me $ 22? and didnt even bother to file and shape my nailsIt seemed expensive to me just because of the color change on the feet and acrylic on my large nail in the salon where I work, the change is 10 and nail 3 was because I was urged and I did not have time to go to my work or do it at home
