Wathiq is an absolute professional. I have been getting my hair cut by him for a few years and have received compliments time and time again on how clean and good it looks. He has a gift for being able to match the style of cut you desire with what looks good based on contour of your head and even covering up bald spots. Wathiq, the owner, gave me my first haircut in 3 and a half years. He was totally clued in that stepping through the door was a big decision. Setting aside extra time for the job, he made sure that I was cool with every step of the process. He dutifully purposed for me to leave the shop confident (just like the sign says!) in the new look, even offering to touch up for free if I should have second thoughts. This a comfortable place where you will enjoy solid tunes, a fresh cut, and a new friendship.

I was able to walk in late afternoon and they worked me in. First time in, it was a great experience. I was offered a beverage and had a great experience with Gustavo. I will be back.

Made a last minute appointment for a straight razor shave and shape up and without hesitation they booked me an appointment with Gustavo. Inside the business was very clean and had a very upscale feel to it. Gustavo went right to work and was done in about 25-30 min and the end result looked awesome. Gustavo definitely took his time and paid great attention to detail. Everyone there was polite and professional.

I found this shop via word of mouth and couldn’t have been happier. I made a last minute appointment with Gustavo before a wedding for a fade and beard shape up. Obviously getting a haircut with a brand new barber before an event is a gamble, but Gustavo hooked it up. Fade was immaculate and the beard was lined nicely. He made sure he was doing exactly what I wanted. Plus he was a cool dude. Clean and professional barber shop.

I visited them last Thursday after a quick call for an appointment. First impressions with the shop was appealing and comforting. The chair was the most comfortable one Ive ever felt at a barbershop.Wathiq paid close attention to detail when asking about my haircut and delivered exactly what I was looking for. He was professional and friendly!My only nitpicks are the lack of coffee and a pretty short scalp massage combined with the hair wash. Still, I loved my visit and would highly recommend.

I have been enjoying Wathiq’s barbering services for the last four months. He does a great job in every respect. He greets me as I enter his shop, and directs me to a comfortable seat in the waiting area until my appointment time. A cold bottle of complementary water is available, and the large screen TV usually has an interesting soccer game playing. Wathiq is a very interesting fellow. We have interesting conversations. I have used a number of RVA barbers since moving to the area, and he has been the best! His hair trim and beard trim is very precise. I look good when I leave his shop. My search for a well balanced barber is over.
